ABOUT US

Our innovative teams are driving the future of consumer-led products, and we're always looking for passionate individuals to join us. Learn more about our story at: https://rubylabs.com/about-us/
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Senior User Acquisition Manager to take full ownership of Meta paid traffic and drive subscriptions through web funnels within a single project. Meta is the core channel, with room to expand into additional sources such as AppLovin, X, TikTok and Snapchat. You'll manage 7-figure budgets across multiple GEOs, decide what to test, scale and cut, and be accountable for results.
Performance is measured on real business metrics (CPA, ROAS and cohorts), not surface-level platform numbers. We are an AI-first team, so we expect you to use Claude and automation to move faster and to streamline your day-to-day workflows.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and scale paid social campaigns on Meta end to end: account structure, bidding, budget allocation, optimization and scaling.
- Expand into additional sources (AppLovin, X, TikTok, Snapchat) and look for new growth levers: audiences, formats, placements and campaign types.
- Scale spend across multiple GEOs while holding CPA and ROAS targets.
- Run structured creative testing with the creative team on all channels, with clear hypotheses and simple scale/kill rules.
- Work with the data team on reports, cohort analysis and deep dives, quickly diagnose drops and spikes and act on them.
- Manage signal quality: conversion events, event value, purchase optimization, attribution.
- Protect account health: manage ad account structure, backups and policy compliance.
- Work with platform reps on betas, new campaign types and escalations.
- Use Claude and automation (skills, scripts, workflows) to speed up builds, reporting and optimization.
- Prepare a clear strategy, document tests and learnings, and keep an eye on market trends and competitors.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Paid social experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience managing paid social campaigns, with Meta as your main platform (TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, or AppLovin experience is a plus) and a proven ability to scale budgets efficiently while maintaining strong ROI.
- High-budget management: experience managing $500k+ in monthly ad spend, with consistent optimization and sustainable growth.
- Multi-GEO expertise: experience running and scaling campaigns across multiple countries and regions, and making independent, data-driven scaling decisions.
- Strong analytical skills: solid command of CPA, ROAS, and cohort analysis, plus proficiency in tools like Omni/Tableau/Mixpanel and the ability to build custom performance analyses.
- Meta platform knowledge: deep understanding of account structures, audience targeting, bidding strategies, and creative testing methodologies.
- AI and automation: experience automating user acquisition workflows with AI, automated rules or scripts, and a mindset of constantly looking for ways to work smarter.
- Autonomous and proactive: you take ownership, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and spot opportunities for testing, optimization, and growth.
- Growth mindset: strong motivation to learn, experiment and scale, with a focus on long-term performance.
- Clear communication: strong English, with the ability to present insights, results and recommendations to stakeholders.

ABOUT US
Ruby Labs is a leading tech company that creates and operates innovative consumer products. We offer a diverse range of opportunities across the health, education, and entertainment industries. Our innovative teams are driving the future of consumer-led products, and we're always looking for passionate individuals to join us. Learn more about our story at: https://rubylabs.com/about-us/
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to own and scale the AI layer of one of our core D2C subscription products. You will be fully responsible for production LLM features and the browser automation built around them end to end — prompt systems, structured outputs, evaluation, observability, and model selection — from first experiment to live release, with quality, reliability, and cost as your accountability.
This is a high-impact role suited for someone who decides with data, not intuition. Unmeasured prompt changes, untraced failures, and model swaps without benchmarks are not acceptable. You work in a modern TypeScript stack — Next.js, Cloudflare Workers and Containers with Hono, Hatchet task queues, Drizzle on Supabase Postgres, Vercel Blob. Browser automation on Browserbase and Playwright is roughly half of the job.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
PROMPT SYSTEMS & STRUCTURED OUTPUTS
- Design dynamic prompt templates with conditional logic and context injection that maximise generation quality
- Enforce predictable outputs with JSON mode, function calling, Zod/JSON schemas, validators, and repair loops
- Own complex LLM workflows (LangChain, LlamaIndex, or custom) that integrate cleanly into application logic
BROWSER AUTOMATION
- Build and maintain browser automation on Browserbase Functions and Playwright that traverses web flows reliably
- Classify screens with a model inside each traversal, and decide what the model handles versus deterministic code
- Ship automations as frozen, published workers — versioned, reproducible, and safe to roll back
- Orchestrate runs through Hatchet with retries, timeouts, and failure traces that explain every broken run
EVALUATION & EXPERIMENTATION
- Build evaluation pipelines — test datasets, LLM-as-a-judge, RAGAS-style metrics — and score responses and screen classifications in Langfuse
- Trace complex LLM chains to find bottlenecks in cost, latency, and context-window usage
- Run A/B experiments across models and prompts through an AI gateway (OpenRouter, Cloudflare AI Gateway); release only on quantitative benchmarks
- Re-evaluate models as new architectures emerge; fine-tune when domain requirements demand it
PRODUCTION OWNERSHIP
- Take AI features from experiment to live production on Cloudflare Workers and Containers, and stay accountable after release
- Manage rate limits, fallbacks, and model cost so features stay reliable at scale
- Resolve production incidents in owned AI and automation systems with documented root-cause analysis
QUALIFICATIONS
MUST-HAVE EXPERIENCE
- 【5+】 years of software engineering with Node.js, TypeScript, Next.js, and Postgres, including edge or serverless runtimes such as Cloudflare Workers
- Production browser automation with Playwright (Browserbase or similar): resilient selectors, retries, failure handling at scale
- Production experience with dynamic prompting — content that depends on input variables and injected context
- Structured outputs in production: JSON mode, function calling, Zod/JSON schemas
- Experience with unified LLM APIs or AI gateways (OpenRouter, Cloudflare AI Gateway): rate limits, fallbacks, cost-effective model selection
- LLM observability with Langfuse or similar: tracing, test datasets, scoring integration
- Evaluation methodology: RAGAS or custom LLM-as-a-judge systems
LEADERSHIP ATTRIBUTES
- Decides on benchmarks and trace data, not intuition
- Analytical — converts generation logs into metrics a business can act on
- Iterative — builds feedback loops and improves continuously
- Owns the outcome from experiment to production, and after
- Verifies before trusting — treats LLM output as unproven until validated

ABOUT MISTRAL
Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms.
We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
Our mission
Build and lead a practical, high-trust health and safety program for Mistral AI’s rapidly expanding data center operations. You will protect employees, contractors and visitors while enabling safe deployment and operation of increasingly dense AI compute infrastructure across colocation sites. You will turn complex operational risks into clear standards, effective controls and measurable improvements.
Operating context & accountability
You will be the safety partner to Data Center Operations, IT Operations, infrastructure delivery, Security, Legal and People teams, and work directly with colocation operators, installation contractors and OEM service partners. Your remit spans live sites, deployment projects, commissioning and transitions into operations. You will ensure that safety responsibilities are clearly defined and that Mistral-controlled activities meet applicable requirements while challenging partner performance where shared interfaces create risk.
Key responsibilities - safety management and compliance
- Own the operational health and safety management framework for the data center portfolio: policy, critical-risk standards, annual objectives, assurance calendar, risk registers, incident classifications, documentation and management reporting.
- Interpret applicable occupational health and safety requirements with local specialists; translate them into site-level expectations, control plans and auditable evidence across different countries.
- Lead regular risk assessments, inspections and assurance reviews; prioritize findings by severity and exposure, assign owners and verify corrective actions have actually reduced risk.
- Create consistent arrangements for site access, inductions, competency checks, contractor onboarding, safety briefings and refresher training, including evidence of completion.
- Develop meaningful leading and lagging indicators, including high-potential near misses, overdue critical actions, training coverage, contractor observations and incident trends; present clear recommendations to leadership.
- Support supplier selection and contract reviews by defining appropriate safety requirements, escalation expectations and minimum standards for colocation and technical service partners.
Key responsibilities - operational and technical risk
- Provide safety oversight for electrical work interfaces, energized equipment, isolation and lockout/tagout, switching coordination, arc-flash exposure and simultaneous activities in live data halls.
- Assess safe systems of work for heavy rack deliveries, lifting and rigging, material handling, battery systems, working at height, temporary works, confined spaces where relevant and high-density IT installation.
- Review method statements, risk assessments, permits to work and job safety analyses for high-risk activities, ensuring that scope, boundaries, competence, emergency arrangements and hold points are understood.
- Partner with engineering teams on the risks introduced by direct-to-chip liquid cooling, CDUs, coolant handling, pressurized circuits, leak detection, hot surfaces and changing rack densities.
- Participate in readiness reviews before energization, commissioning, major deployments and changes in operating configuration; confirm critical safety issues are resolved or escalated before work proceeds.
- Coordinate emergency planning and drills with colocation operators and emergency responders for fire, evacuation, electrical incidents, coolant leaks, medical emergencies and loss of critical infrastructure.
Key responsibilities - investigations and culture
- Lead or coordinate investigations of incidents, unsafe conditions and high-potential near misses involving Mistral activities; use structured causal analysis and share actionable learning across the portfolio.
- Challenge the completeness and quality of provider or contractor investigations when Mistral personnel or equipment may be exposed; track preventive measures through verification.
- Coach engineers, managers and vendors to identify hazards early, stop unsafe Mistral-controlled work and raise concerns without hesitation.
- Build strong partnerships with operations, construction, logistics, physical security, compliance and HR; communicate safety expectations clearly in written guidance, training and site discussions.
- Provide practical support to other regions during major incidents, rapid expansion or unusual operational risk.
What success looks like
- Critical activities are governed by clear, adopted controls and a consistent standard across sites.
- High-severity findings are visible, owned and resolved; incident learning results in verified preventive action.
- Site and contractor training, emergency readiness and compliance evidence are maintained and readily accessible.
- The safety program scales with infrastructure growth without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.
Minimum qualifications
- At least 5 years of practical health and safety experience in operational, industrial, construction or mission-critical environments.
- Experience implementing safety programs, contractor controls, inspections, risk assessments, investigations and training.
- Working knowledge of occupational safety regulations and high-risk work controls; ability to coordinate country-specific requirements.
- Strong communication and influencing skills across technical teams, suppliers and senior stakeholders; fluent professional English.
- Ability to work regularly on site and travel between data center locations; valid driving licence where required for site access.
Preferred qualifications
- Data center, manufacturing, power infrastructure or complex construction experience involving employees and multiple contractors.
- Experience with electrical safety, critical mechanical systems, commissioning and work in live operational facilities.
- Recognized HSE qualification and familiarity with ISO 45001-based management systems.
- Experience with international portfolios, colocation operators and high-density IT or liquid-cooled systems.

That means coordinating with our external auditors across the year, aligning testing windows with control owners, educating our control owners, and keeping requests and deliverables on schedule. You will also own SOX scoping and risk assessment cycles, deficiency tracking, and status reporting, and help roll out our GRC platform so the program runs from one system of record instead of spreadsheets. You will scale the program through AI-enabled workflows that reduce manual effort and speed up our SOX program.
This role reports to the Head of Business Controls and works closely with everyone on the SOX and Internal Audit team. This is an individual contributor role for someone who keeps a complex program on schedule, writes clearly, and makes the program simpler each cycle.
Key responsibilities
Own the annual SOX audit calendar, including interim and year-end testing windows, walkthrough schedules, and key deliverable dates agreed with external auditors.
Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for external auditor requests. Triage, route, and track each request to closure, including PBC (provided-by-client) lists and evidence deliveries.
Coordinate auditor walkthroughs and fieldwork with process owners, control owners, and the SOX Testing team, so each control owner is asked for the same evidence once.
Track auditor findings, management responses, and deficiency follow-ups, and report status to Internal Audit leadership.
Prepare control owners and process owners for auditor sessions, and get evidence delivered on time without direct authority over them.
Lead the annual SOX scoping and risk assessment, including quarterly refreshes, and support the annual Fraud Risk Assessment, so the program has appropriate scope and coverage under COSO.
Monitor BP and IT SOX testing and report status to leadership and share status with external auditors
Lead work with the business to improve control documentation, including education of templates and SOX guidance.
Find optimization and automation opportunities across the SOX lifecycle through the use of AI.
Support the rollout of the GRC tool for SOX, including control libraries, workflows, evidence requests, and testing templates.
Define the data and reporting requirements the platform must meet, and test that it produces what the program needs.
Run the quarterly sub-certification process and report results to leadership
Own SOX program status reporting: dashboards and metrics for leadership, audit calendar progress, and deficiency and remediation status.
Own status reporting for the full SOX lifecycle: scoping and risk assessment, testing, deficiencies and remediation, segregation of duties (SOD), SOC 1 report reviews, the fraud risk assessment, and audit calendar progress.
Minimum qualifications
Big 4 audit firm experience on SOX 404 or ICFR engagements, including managing audit calendars, PBC requests, and fieldwork with external audit teams.
Experience working directly with external auditor teams on requests, testing schedules, and findings, from the company side.
Several years of hands-on SOX 404 experience, including scoping, risk assessment, control documentation, testing, and deficiency evaluation.
Working knowledge of the COSO framework, ICFR, and PCAOB standards.
Experience developing or maintaining Risk and Control Matrices and process documentation or flowcharts.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.
