ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for an Employment Counsel to join Ramp's Legal team. This is a generalist employment role with broad scope. You will handle U.S. employment counseling as your base load, cover non-U.S. jurisdictions as needed, and own immigration and global mobility. You will partner directly with People, Talent, Total Rewards, Finance, Tax, Equity Admin, Compliance, and business leaders, and you will manage outside counsel in jurisdictions where we do not hold the expertise in house. We are a small, high-leverage team supporting a company that moves quickly, so you will cover a lot of ground and be trusted to run matters independently.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Day-to-day employment counseling: Advise People partners and managers on hiring, worker classification, compensation, leaves and accommodations, performance management, discipline, separations, and more
- Immigration and global mobility: Collaborate with the People team on the immigration program, including work authorization outside the U.S. Set and communicate the sponsorship policy, manage outside immigration counsel and case volume, and partner with Talent on offer-stage decisions. Support relocations, cross-border remote work requests, and business travel, and work with Finance and Tax on permanent establishment and mobility tax exposure
- Investigations: Collaborate with the People team on internal investigations and advise on findings and outcomes
- Disputes: Handle demand letters, agency charges, arbitrations, and litigation with outside counsel
- Agreements and templates: Own offer letters, employment agreements, separation and release agreements, contractor and consultant agreements, restrictive covenants, and the local-law variants of each
- Transactions: Support employment and immigration diligence, employee transitions, and post-close integration for M&A and new-market entry
- Build for scale: Produce manager training, policies, self-serve guidance, and repeatable processes as we expand in the US and globally
WHAT YOU NEED
- 8+ years practicing employment law, with a combination of top law firm and in-house experience at a high-growth technology company
- JD from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar (New York or California preferred)
- Deep U.S. employment counseling experience across the full employee lifecycle, including wage and hour, leaves and accommodations, investigations, performance management, and separations
- Working knowledge of employment law outside the U.S. and the judgment to triage a cross-border question quickly
- Hands-on experience with U.S. business immigration and global mobility, including running a sponsorship program and managing immigration counsel at volume
- Demonstrated ability to independently run multiple time-sensitive matters
- Exceptional written and verbal communication. You can turn an employment law question into guidance a manager can act on in one reading
- High judgment on sensitive and confidential matters, and the steadiness to advise on them under time pressure
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift and processes are still being built, and a bias toward action
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience at a fintech, payments, or regulated financial services company
- Experience standing up employment infrastructure in a new country, including EOR-to-entity transitions and works council or employee representative consultation
- Employment experience across EMEA, APAC, LATAM, or Canada
- A track record of using AI or automation to eliminate manual legal work

ABOUT THE ROLE
Ramp's Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) team is looking for a senior investigator ready to shift from running cases to scaling the systems that run cases. You've built real depth in TM Alerts, AML Investigations, Complex Fraud, and EDD Reviews; you know what a good escalation looks like, where analysts get stuck, and where automation actually holds up in production versus just looks good in a demo. In this role, you'll spend most of your time partnering with Engineering and the Head of FCC Tooling to turn that judgment into scaled AI systems: testing model outputs, labeling and calibrating results, and making sure every automated decision point is well-documented and properly governed. You'll stay close enough to FCC's day-to-day workflows and will partake in some of them, but this is fundamentally a builder role.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Partner directly with Engineering and the Head of FCC Tooling on automation experimentation and AI initiatives across TM, sanctions, complex fraud, and EDD, moving prototypes from one-off calibration exercises to defined, repeatable evaluation processes.
- Design and run labeling and tagging workflows for model outputs (e.g., TM alert dispositions, sanctions/PEP hit review) building a structured, documented pipeline in place of today's ad hoc process
- Define and maintain test sets, scenario coverage, and evaluation frameworks for compliance AI/agent tools in partnership with the engineers building them
- Own the documentation and governance layer for every automated or AI-assisted decision point
- Work with the FCC team to understand current workflows to guide innovative solutions
- Recommend automation and AI adoption decisions with evidence and escalate control-posture or model-risk trade-offs to compliance leadership
WHAT YOU NEED
- 5+ years of financial services experience in compliance, AML, or related regulatory advisory roles, preferably in fintech
- Demonstrated senior-investigator experience across TM Alerts, AML Investigations, Complex Fraud, and EDD Reviews
- Direct experience testing, labeling, or evaluating AI/ML model outputs, or strong aptitude and demonstrated fast ramp-up if new to formal model evaluation
- Strong AI fluency and data analytics skills
- Comfort partnering with engineers day-to-day and ability to translate compliance judgment into build specs, test cases, and evaluation criteria engineers can act on
- Strong project management and documentation rigor
- Ability to scope an ambiguous automation problem, choose an approach, and deliver a durable outcome with minimal oversight
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Data science background
- Experience working with outsourced testing/QA partners on model tuning or signal collection

About The Role
We’re looking for a Technical Program Manager who can work across engineering, product, and business teams. You’ll bring the technical judgment to earn engineers’ trust and the ability to create clarity and momentum across complex programs. This is a hands-on role with executive visibility and direct impact on how Ramp’s engineering organization scales.
You’re energized by complexity and curious about how AI can improve the way engineering teams work. You experiment with AI tools yourself, understand how they are changing software development, and bring that perspective to the programs you lead.
What You’ll Do
- Lead large technical programs across engineering and partner teams, from infrastructure scaling to reliability and incident response.
- Connect platform and product engineering teams, keep context flowing, surface dependencies, and drive effective execution.
- Own programs from scoping and kickoff through delivery, measurement, and retrospective.
- Partner with engineering leaders on roadmaps, identify how projects overlap or depend on one another, and keep programs aligned with organizational goals.
- Help engineers, engineering managers, and partner teams communicate business and engineering priorities across the organization.
- Strengthen Ramp’s incident response program by improving processes, facilitating retrospectives, and helping teams act on what they learn.
- Help define how TPMs work at Ramp by setting standards, creating playbooks, and improving program practices.
What You’ll Need
- 5+ years of technical program management experience, ideally in a high-growth startup.
- Hands-on fluency with AI tools such as Cursor or Claude Code, and a point of view on how they can improve day-to-day work and software development.
- The ability to execute directly while improving how the broader team works.
- A track record of building trust quickly and working effectively across teams.
- A BA/BS in computer science, engineering, information systems, analytics, or another technical or analytical field.
- Strong systems thinking: you can connect architecture, product, compliance, and timelines, and spot risks early.
- Experience leading cross-functional programs toward ambitious goals with urgency and ownership.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with cell-based or multi-region architectures, or international expansion.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure, CI/CD, or observability tools.
- Experience leading reliability programs.
- Experience building programs in rigorous, fast-moving organizations.
- A background in software engineering.
- Familiarity with how LLM-based systems are built and deployed, enough to have substantive conversations with the engineers building them.

HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
⚡ THE DESIGN AND RESEARCH COMMUNITY AT ALAN
Alan’s Design & Research (D&R) community is the group of designers and researchers behind everything our members see and use. Our goal is simple: build the most member-centric health experience there is, with high standards of craft and a real understanding of the people we design for.
We are growing fast, and AI is changing what is possible in the way we work. We are looking for someone who loves tooling, ops and AI to help us move faster without lowering the bar on quality.
This is a builder role where design, operations and AI meet. You will scope where AI and automation can help us build faster, scale better and catch quality issues earlier, then turn the best ideas into tools the community actually uses. Along the way, you will help us improve our rituals and best practices, and share what we learn inside and outside Alan. You are not a designer or a researcher yourself: you are the enabler that allows the community to go faster and perform better as our member base grows.
🤝 YOUR MISSIONS
You will help D&R work smarter and keep quality high as we grow, in close collaboration with the community, its lead, and the engineering, Product Ops and platform teams we work with. You will help shape our community strategy on AI and tooling, then build and run what comes out of it.
- Explore: Test new AI tools and automations, find the ones that really save time or improve quality, and share the best with the community. Work with our internal AI tooling teams to bring what’s cutting edge to design and research.
- Build: Create skills, agents and automated checks that make design and research work more efficient, reliable and of higher quality.
- Run the tooling: Maintain and upgrade the tools the community relies on, and be our point of contact with Alan’s platform and agentic teams.
- Improve how we work: Bring in better practices and rituals, push our existing rituals to the next level and help us show what we learn and achieve, inside and outside Alan.
- Own your roadmap: Identify opportunities, prioritize solutions, set clear goals, track adoption and quality, and adjust as you go.
🚀 YOU ARE A GOOD FIT IF...
You are an ops-minded builder with around 4 years of experience in ops or enablement roles: design ops, tooling, automation, analytics, program management or something close. Design and research interests you, but what drives you is helping teams work better with tools, automation and better rituals.
What you bring
- Hands-on experience automating work. You have replaced repetitive tasks with automations, internal tools or AI workflows (no-code, low-code or AI tools), at work or on your own projects, and you can tell us what you built and who used it.
- Familiarity with AI tools. You have built or tested skills, agents or automations, and you care that they are reliable, not just impressive in a demo.
- Comfort working with engineers. You can build things yourself, you know when to ask for production-grade work, and you speak their language.
- Experience supporting a team or community, for example through onboarding, rituals, events or internal communications.
- Strong English communication, to collaborate with our international team. French is a plus.
Nice to have
- Experience in or alongside a design or research team.
- Familiarity with Figma and design systems.
Qualities we look for
- Builder and strategic mindset: you make progress with incomplete information, choose the simplest approach that works, and ship.
- Rigour: you set a baseline and a target, and improve with each iteration.
- Systems thinking: you see how people, processes, tools and data fit together.
- Judgment: you frame ambiguous problems, prioritise, and know what to drop.
- Clear communication: you keep people updated and explain your choices.
🌍 WHERE YOU CAN BE BASED
Location: Based in (or within commuting distance of) one of our hubs (Paris, Bordeaux, Marseille, Brussels, Madrid or Barcelona), with the ability to work onsite twice per week. We prefer you have the right to work here.
🎯 IMPORTANT NOTE: WE HIRE PEOPLE, NOT ROLES
If you’re excited about this opportunity but don’t check every box, we’d love to hear from you. Everyone, no matter how underrepresented, should feel free to apply, as it can only bring learnings or success.
If you identify yourself as a woman: Did you know that research shows women often apply only when meeting 100% of requirements?
Remember, this is just a guide, not a checklist. We’ll be thrilled to receive your application!

And beyond.
📈 FINANCE COMMUNITY AT ALAN
Finance & Strategy exists to enable better decisions, faster, at every level of the company, in a regulated, diverse and ever changing business.
We succeed when ambitious goals become credible plans, when strategic bets are grounded in financial reality, and when the entire company (not just Finance!) speaks the language of performance.
We set the right ambition, we monitor whether we're getting there, and we raise our hand when something needs to change.
We are not record-keepers. We are builders, partners, and challengers. We are looking for people who want to build, support decision making processes and challenge the status quo.
The core responsibilities of the Finance & Strategy community are:
- Strategy & Planning: steer Alan's financial performance through business planning, financial and operational monitoring, investor relations and financing
- Financial Reporting: is the steward of Alan's financial truth, ensuring that we produce accurate, timely financial data. It owns the reporting to all key stakeholders (board, leadership team, tax authorities, and regulators like the ACPR) and ensures that financial data is the single, uncontested source of truth for the company's performance.
- Finance Data and Operations: Build and own the core finance data and tooling infrastructure (models, pipelines, and concepts that connect business operations to financial reality). This is where Finance meets product thinking
- Functional poles with end-to-end ownership of their domain: Treasury, Procurement, M&A
🎯 YOUR MISSION
As a member of the Strategy & planning team, your mission is to work closely with business teams and C-Level alaners to:
- Build our business plan to exponentially increase Alan's enterprise value - profitable growth, margin expansion, cost efficiency. This includes deep-dives on go-to-market, on pricing & margin steering, on resource allocation, and on levers to increase our operating leverage.
- Monitor Alan’s financial and operational performance to understand the value drivers, the opportunities, adjustments to bring to our plan. This implies a strong link with Finance production to build and automate monthly deep-dives
- Steer performance through framing and implementing high-impact initiatives (e.g. procurement tool, pricing) and driving some punctual explorations (e.g. M&A, transformative partnerships, competitive intelligence)
- Contribute to our investors relations and financing. This includes preparing Board meetings, fundraising, external communications.
To support the above, you will build, improve, maintain best-in-class tools for financial planning and performance monitoring, hand-in-hand with the Data, Business and Finance teams. This includes BP, monitoring dashboards, selection and implementation of third party tools where relevant.
You will also work closely with the Finance Operations teams, notably to produce and interpret our monthly financial performance, and on specific projects.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will be a front-line manager to a group of Account Managers who are responsible for hunting, pitching, and expanding the existing customer base at Ramp.
You'll lead a group of 6-8 Account Managers, each carrying a book of 60-70 Enterprise customers with real latitude over how they grow it. This is a build role, not a maintain role: the playbooks, coaching systems, and performance bar you set are the ones this team runs on next year. Your ceiling is set by how well you turn individual AM judgment into a repeatable, scalable motion that grows the segment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and run a high-performing team of 6-8 Account Managers - setting the bar for culture, morale, and daily execution.
- Get embedded in the relationships that matter. Engage directly with key customers and top accounts alongside your team, building trust and long-term partnership.
- Own the number. Manage quota performance and pipeline generation across your team to hit spend activation, product activation, retention, and expansion goals.
- Forecast and report team performance to senior leadership with clear-eyed visibility into what's working and what isn't.
- Hire and develop the next generation of AMs - training on product, buyer personas, competition, and tooling through role-plays, game film, and real deal work.
- Coach relentlessly. Run daily 1:1s, dissect call feedback, lead enablement sessions, and build career paths for every rep on your team.
- Turn what works into a system. Continuously refine team processes and tooling to improve output and efficiency as the segment scales.
- Represent Account Management cross-functionally, partnering with Sales, CX, CSM, Risk, and Product to remove blockers and drive outcomes.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Minimum 5 years of quota-carrying sales or account management experience as an individual contributor, with a proven, consistent track record of exceeding goals (new business or cross-sell/upsell experience mandatory)
- Minimum 5 years building and leading account management or sales teams, with a track record of exceeding goal (new business or cross-sell/upsell experience mandatory)
- Prior success in fast-paced, results-oriented GTM environments, ideally at SaaS or AI companies
- A genuine passion for hiring, with a thoughtful approach to talent development
- Ability to articulate contractual, technical, and financial value to customers, including C-Suite and executive leaders
- Strong track record negotiating, structuring, and executing complex agreements
- Proficiency with data analytics tools (Salesforce, Looker, Excel) and a bias toward using data to drive decisions
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills, backed by excellent communication and presentation ability.
- High agency and adaptability - no two days are the same, and the only constant is change
- A desire and willingness to jump headfirst into complex, challenging problems for the good of the business.
Great to Haves
- Experience at a high-growth, top SaaS/AI startup
