ABOUT BASETEN
Baseten powers mission-critical inference for the world's most dynamic AI companies, like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma, and Writer. By uniting applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and seamless developer tooling, we enable companies operating at the frontier of AI to bring cutting-edge models into production. We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F https://www.baseten.co/blog/announcing-our-series-f/, led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
Are you the person on your team who builds the agent everyone else ends up using? We're looking for an AI Engineer to join our Training Product team and do that at Baseten. You'll build AI-driven product features for the customers training and post-training frontier models on our platform, and you'll raise the ceiling on how Baseten itself uses AI internally, turning manual workflows into agentic ones that make every other team faster.
You'll work directly with our research engineers to scope and build products, taking ideas from a research loop that already works internally to something customers can run themselves. This is a hands-on role with real autonomy. You'll pick the problems worth solving, build the harnesses, execution flows, and guardrails that make AI systems reliable, and own the results. If you've been shipping agents and want that to be the job, let's talk.
EXAMPLE INITIATIVES
Take a look at these blog posts written by members of our team:
- Baseten Training: an autoresearch substrate https://www.baseten.co/blog/baseten-training-an-autoresearch-substrate/
- Introducing Baseten Loops https://www.baseten.co/blog/introducing-the-baseten-loops-sdk/
- Harnesses are everything. Here's how to optimize yours. https://www.baseten.co/blog/harnesses-are-everything-heres-how-to-optimize-yours/
- Building with NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Ultra and LangChain Deep Agents Code on Baseten https://www.baseten.co/blog/nvidia-nemotron-3-ultra-and-langchain-deep-agents-on-baseten/
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and ship agentic product experiences, including chat-style and assistant-like interfaces, from prototype to GA.
- Design the harnesses, execution flows, and guardrails that make AI systems reliable in production.
- Build internal automation and AI tooling that measurably increases the velocity of engineering, research, and go-to-market teams.
- Partner with research engineers to scope product opportunities out of internal research workflows and turn them into customer-facing features.
- Define and instrument evals so you know whether a change actually improved output quality.
- Work throughout the stack (API layer, backend, agent orchestration, frontend) to implement features end to end.
- Use Baseten's own training and inference products yourself to develop intuition around customer workflows.
- Identify where AI can replace manual process across the company and build the thing rather than write the proposal.
- Fix bugs and resolve customer issues with urgency.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience building and shipping software applications.
- Demonstrated experience building AI or LLM-powered products, agents, or agentic workflows that real users depend on.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to clear a real technical bar, not just prompt well.
- Ability to build accurate mental models of how systems work under the hood, including the models and harnesses you're building on.
- Proficiency in Python, with fluency in at least one other language.
- Comfort working autonomously in a fast-moving environment with limited structure.
- Ability to move between customer-facing product work and internal tooling and automation.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical depth and business needs.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience as a founding engineer or early employee at a startup.
- Experience building evals, agent observability, or tooling for non-deterministic systems.
- Familiarity with agent frameworks and harnesses (LangChain, Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, MCP).
- Experience with model development methods like supervised fine-tuning, reinforcement learning, synthetic data generation, LoRA, and full fine-tunes.
- Frontend fluency.
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.
Apply now to embark on a rewarding journey in shaping the future of AI! If you are a motivated individual with a passion for machine learning and a desire to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, we would love to hear from you.
At Baseten, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, or veteran status.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable law (by example, the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, where applicable).

For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.

At Render, we’re building the modern cloud platform for developers creating AI-native, full-stack, multi-service applications. Our mission is to eliminate the tradeoff between the power of hyperscalers and the simplicity of developer-friendly platforms—so teams can ship fast, scale reliably, and focus on their product, not infrastructure.
Unlike complex hyperscalers or ephemeral edge/serverless solutions, Render offers a developer-first experience with persistent compute, dynamic autoscaling, built-in orchestration, and observability, allowing teams to launch, scale, and manage real-world applications without writing infrastructure code or managing servers. Whether you're building LLM-powered applications, scalable SaaS products, or async processing pipelines, Render empowers teams to move fast and scale confidently from MVP to millions of users.
Our platform is trusted by over 7 million developers worldwide and continues to grow rapidly. In February 2026, we raised an additional $100M in Series C financing, bringing our total funding to $260M, to accelerate our vision of making cloud infrastructure both powerful and intuitive—designed for the speed of modern AI development.
We’re a diverse and talented team that values craft, velocity, and user experience. If you’re excited to help shape the future of the intelligent cloud and empower developers everywhere, we’d love to hear from you.
APPLYING TO RENDER
We're seeking candidates who possess high integrity, humility, and an insatiable drive to learn. Through reasoned discussions and continuous feedback, we strive to improve both individually and collectively. We foster an environment of mutual trust and respect, empowering effective debate to achieve the best outcomes for our customers and team.
We especially encourage members of underrepresented groups in the tech community to apply and understand that not all successful candidates will meet each requirement listed.
Our interview process is unique to each role, and we value the candidate experience just as much as our customer experience. We hope your conversations with us reflect a thoughtful process that is illuminative, enjoyable, and respectful of your time.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Render is building a channel partnerships program from the ground up, and we're hiring our first Head of Revenue Partnerships to lead it — reporting to our VP of Revenue. You'll build Render's relationships with development agencies, PE firms, and — over time — systems integrators, to help Render customers who are migrating off competitive platforms, or who are pursuing new builds with Render.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Map partner types — agencies, PE firms, SIs — and determine which are the best fit for Render's product and customer base.
- Build relationships with execs at partner firms to understand their priorities, pricing, and delivery models.
- Develop commercial agreements with partners to co-sell Render alongside their own services, to both existing and net-new customers.
- Develop Render-specific narrative and enablement materials: decks, pilot frameworks, ROI overviews.
- Design co-marketing models with partners — customer dinners, digital campaigns, conferences, and joint events.
- Work with our technology partner team to build a co-sell motion for large & enterprise accounts.
- For partners with a portfolio model, like PE firms, design scaled activation programs — webinars, cohorts, office hours — that drive Render adoption across many portfolio companies at once, without requiring 1:1 touch on every account.
- Drive the creation of new pipeline for both Render and the partner, and own the path from first engagement to partner-qualified referral to closed revenue.
- Set up the operating rhythm of each partnership: regular engagement cadences, co-sell activity, and a clear, repeatable path from first call to referral.
- Partner closely with Render's internal Sales and Delivery/CS leaders to align on how reps and partners work together, keep deal registration and pipeline hygiene clean, and avoid channel conflict with internal teams
- Define and report on success metrics for the channel, evolving from early engagement signals toward pipeline and revenue impact as the program matures.
- Build out a team of partner managers over time, dedicated to each partner type.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 10+ years of experience in B2B partnerships, sales, GM/general management, or solutions engineering roles, ideally at a B2B SaaS, Infra or PLG company.
- A generalist with strong seller DNA — someone who is outcomes-obsessed and comfortable being measured on pipeline creation, deal influence, and revenue, not just relationship-building.
- Comfort building a program without a playbook: you can hypothesize, run small experiments, and iterate quickly rather than waiting for a fully-formed process.
- Real experience working with solutions partners, agencies, or SIs — ideally in co-sell, referral, or partner-sourced revenue motions.
- A proven record of getting deals done — willingness to travel, get in front of partners in person, and find creative ways to keep partners engaged and motivated.
- Strong cross-functional operating skills — you'll work daily with Sales, Delivery/CS, Product Marketing, and Legal, and need to build trust and alignment across all of them.
- Comfort operating at the executive level, both with partner leadership and internally at Render.
- A technical enough orientation to credibly engage with developer-focused partners and speak to how AI is changing the questions partners are asking.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Experience building or scaling a channel program at an infrastructure, dev-tools, or other PLG-motion company.
- Familiarity with partner/ecosystem tooling such as Crossbeam, or experience running account mapping and pipeline reviews jointly with external partners.
- Experience navigating the emerging AI SI / AI consulting partner category.
If this role excites you but you don’t meet every single requirement, we’d still love to hear from you—your unique experience might be just what we need.
BENEFITS
- 4 weeks of paid vacation.
- 14 weeks of fully paid parental leave for all parents to bond with a newly born, adopted, or fostered child. We will also work with you to create a supportive plan of return.
- Long-term disability, life insurance, and 401K plans.
- 100% employer-paid medical coverage and 99% employer-paid dental and vision coverage for you and a dependent. FSAs and HSAs are available as well.
- Monthly lifestyle stipend for wellness, mental health and therapy, hobbies, etc.
- Monthly cell phone and internet subsidy.
- Commuter benefits for Renders in the Bay Area, and home office stipends for remote Renders.
- Continuous learning benefits & related support.
This position is generally not eligible for new visa sponsorship. At Render's discretion, the business may sponsor existing visa transfers. Applicants who require sponsorship must receive business authorization.
Render is an equal-opportunity employer. We know that employing a team rich in diverse thoughts, experiences, and opinions allows our employees, product, and community to flourish. We make all employment decisions including hiring, evaluation, termination, promotional, and training opportunities, without regard to race, religion, color, sex, age, national origin, ancestry, sexual orientation, physical handicap, mental disability, medical condition, disability, gender or identity or expression, pregnancy or pregnancy-related condition, marital status, height and/or weight.
We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. Please contact us to request accommodation.
We encourage all who are interested to apply. We can't wait to hear from you!

We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science.
We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won’t solve the world’s hardest problems – robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world.
World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached.
Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you.
ABOUT THE ROLE
*Open to hiring remote across the US — we also have offices in New York, San Francisco, Seattle, London, Paris, and Tel Aviv.
We're looking for a Designer, Growth (Product Marketing) to sit at the intersection of brand, performance marketing, and generative media. This is not a brand systems or campaign concepting role — it's a high-volume, output-driven design role. You'll own the visual execution of paid and performance marketing across video, motion, and static formats, producing assets that are on-brand, well art directed and built to convert. You'll report to the Creative Director of Product Marketing.
Your work will directly shape how people first encounter and engage with Runway's products. That means producing scroll-stopping video ads, designing static and animated assets for paid social and display, and using generative tools — including Runway's own — as a core part of how you work. You'll partner closely with product marketing, growth, and creative teams, and you'll be measured on craft, throughput, and performance.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design and produce high volumes of performance marketing assets across video, motion, and static formats — paid social, display, YouTube and beyond
- Use Runway to ideate, create and iterate on video and image assets that are on-brand and well art directed — not just technically functional
- Own the visual execution of ad creative from concept through final delivery, working from briefs or generating your own directions when needed
- Produce motion graphics and animated ads that communicate product value quickly and compellingly
- Partner with the Product Marketing and growth team to develop integrated ad concepts where copy and design work together
- Build and iterate on creative variants for A/B and multivariate testing — adapting formats, hooks and visual treatments based on performance data
- Maintain a consistent visual language across all performance touchpoints without letting assets feel templated or stale
- Collaborate with product marketing on go-to-market launches, translating new product capabilities into visual stories that resonate with target audiences
- Hands-on experience designing for the major paid channels (Meta, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc) with fluency in each platform's native specs, aspect ratios and ad formats, and a real point of view on what works where.
- Own updates to GTM assets and templates, keeping them current and on-brand across campaigns. Bring hands-on experience building and automating deck design systems, so our presentations stay consistent without manual rework each time.
- Contribute to a growing library of on-brand design components, motion templates and generative prompting strategies that raise the team's overall output velocity
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- 4+ years of experience in performance marketing design, motion design, or a related role at a tech or consumer company
- A portfolio that shows range across video ads, motion graphics and static performance creative — with clear evidence of craft and art direction judgment, not just execution
- Strong motion design skills — you're fluent in After Effects, Premiere, or equivalent, and can produce polished animated and video assets independently
- Solid graphic design fundamentals — typography, layout, color — applied to high-converting ad formats, not just editorial or brand work
- Hands-on experience using AI image and video generation tools with an art director's eye — you know how to prompt, iterate and finish work that looks intentional
- Comfort with performance data — you can look at creative metrics and know what visual changes to make next
- Ability to operate at high velocity across multiple simultaneous campaigns without sacrificing quality
- Experience working closely with growth marketers and product teams in a fast-moving environment
- Experience in AI, creative tools or developer-adjacent products is a strong plus
Runway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team. Our salary ranges are based on competitive market rates for our size, stage and industry, and salary is just one part of the overall compensation package we provide.
There are many factors that go into salary determinations, including relevant experience, skill level and qualifications assessed during the interview process, and maintaining internal equity with peers on the team. The range shared below is a general expectation for the function as posted, but we are also open to considering candidates who may be more or less experienced than outlined in the job description. In this case, we will communicate any updates in the expected salary range.
Lastly, the provided range is the expected salary for candidates in the U.S. Outside of those regions, there may be a change in the range, which again, will be communicated to candidates.

We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology—including AI—to achieve our mission.
THE ROLE
Forward Deployed Engineers work directly with the largest and fastest-growing AI companies in the world, owning their technical outcomes on Baseten and taking on the hardest problems in serving and improving models at scale. The work spans the model lifecycle: inference, post-training, and the systems that tighten the loop between them.
- Act as each account's de facto CTO on Baseten, with final accountability for how their workloads are designed, run, and scaled.
- Take customer objectives from vague to shipped: frame the problem, define the spec and success criteria, build the PoC, and carry it through to production quickly, using the right tools for the problem.
- Design the evals and benchmarks that isolate where quality or performance falls short, then close the gap yourself, whether that means optimizing inference, improving the model through post-training, or reworking the eval itself.
- Be the first responder to mission-critical failures including triage, owning the fix directly or route to the owning team and stay accountable until it ships.
- Build internal systems so that each engagement is faster than the last. This includes tooling and automation for eval and deployment infrastructure, and the recipes and reference implementations that make the product more self-serve.
- Shape the product itself, channeling what your accounts need into the roadmap and shipping fixes and features into Baseten's codebase yourself.
- Do all of this across multiple accounts at once, sequencing the work, pulling in the right people at the right time, and keeping customers and internal stakeholders aligned on status and risk.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1-2 years of software engineering experience, shipping and maintaining code in large production systems, ideally with breadth across the stack
- Experience debugging complex production issues - working through logs, metrics, and traces to root-cause problems in unfamiliar systems
- Confidence owning ambiguous technical problems. This includes triaging, making decisions under uncertainty, and knowing when to pull in other engineers who own the underlying systems
- Motivation beyond pure engineering. An interest in wanting to work directly with customers, understand their problems firsthand, and influence the product
- Clear communication on complex technical topics, whether you're talking to a customer's engineers or their leadership
- Genuine curiosity about AI inference and training, and a drive to become an expert in the infrastructure powering it
- Willingness to respond to customers outside regular working hours and participate in an on-call rotation
- Excitement about solving problems for some of the largest and fastest-growing companies in the world running mission-critical AI workloads
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
We don't expect any one person to cover all of this - the strongest candidates may spike in one or two of the following:
- Depth in a core infrastructure domain such as storage systems or networking (anywhere from the cloud layer to cluster interconnects like InfiniBand and RoCE)
- Experience operating distributed compute platforms like Kubernetes, Slurm, or Ray, especially for GPU workloads
- A detailed understanding of LLM architectures and modern inference engines like vLLM, TensorRT-LLM, or SGLang
- The ability to profile and optimize GPU workloads, in training or serving
- Hands-on experience with post-training techniques like SFT and RL, or a broader deep learning background plus fluency in a tensor computation library like PyTorch or JAX
- Operational depth - running on-call, leading incident response, debugging distributed systems under pressure

ABOUT THE TEAM
The Deployed Engineering team is the technical front line of our go-to-market motion. We partner with account executives from the first technical conversation through production rollout, helping companies evaluate LangChain, prove it out on their hardest use case, and get agents running reliably at scale.
This is a hands-on, highly technical team. Solutions Engineers own the technical win: scoping evaluations, designing POCs that mirror real workloads, answering the deep architecture questions that decide a deal, and staying with the customer after signature to make sure what we sold actually ships.
We sit at the intersection of engineering, product, and sales. What we learn in the field shapes both how customers adopt LangChain and what we build next.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will work on some of the hardest problems in applied AI, in front of customers, on a clock. Not demos, not research: systems real teams depend on in production. The feedback loop is fast, the impact is measurable in closed deals and live deployments, and the work directly shapes how AI agents get built in the real world.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the technical win. Partner with AEs to scope evaluations, run technical discovery, and design POCs that map to the customer's real use case rather than a canned demo
- Be the technical authority in the room during architecture reviews, security and infrastructure questions, and head-to-head evaluations
- Co-architect and co-build production AI agents with customer engineering teams, from prototype through rollout
- Help customers deploy and operate agent-based applications such as conversational agents, research agents, and multi-step workflows
- Run demos, trainings, and workshops for developer audiences, from single-team sessions to larger technical enablement
- Advise customers post-sale on architecture, best practices, and roadmap-level decisions, and find the expansion opportunities that come out of those conversations
- Surface field feedback to product and build reusable POC assets, cookbooks, and example code that scale across accounts
- Contribute code upstream when it meaningfully improves customer outcomes
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 6+ years in a relevant technical role such as solutions engineering, sales engineering, customer engineering, software engineering, or founding and product engineering, ideally at a startup or scale-up
- Comfort owning the technical thread in a sales cycle: discovery, POCs, architecture reviews, and competitive evaluations
- Ability to explain technical tradeoffs clearly and build trust with developer audiences, then translate that into a decision the customer is ready to make
- A track record of taking responsibility for outcomes, not just recommendations
- A bias toward action and a willingness to figure things out as you go
- Genuine interest in operating AI agents in production, not just building demos
NICE TO HAVES
- You've deployed AI agents in production, especially using LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks
- Experience carrying a technical number or working against pipeline alongside a sales team
- Experience with LLM evaluation, observability, or guardrails
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure), containers, and basic Kubernetes concepts
COMPENSATION
Annual OTE range: $200,000–$300,000 USD. Final compensation will depend on experience, skills, and location.

About the Job:
LaunchDarkly is looking for an Enterprise Developer Advocate to build a new motion from the ground up: education-first technical sessions inside our largest accounts. Most enterprise customers know LaunchDarkly for one thing. Inside those same companies are teams shipping AI features, running experiments, and managing risky releases who have never met us. You'll design and run sessions that teach those engineers something genuinely useful, build internal champions alongside our account teams, and surface expansion opportunities the field can act on. This starts as a pilot, and how it scales will be shaped by what you prove. It's a role for someone who wants to own a motion, not a queue.
Responsibilities:
Build the motion: design the Enterprise Developer Advocacy program from pilot to repeatable practice, including session formats, account selection criteria, readouts, and measurement
Run sessions inside target accounts: deliver education-first technical sessions (agents and AgentControl, safe rollouts, experimentation, runtime control) tailored to each account's stack and use cases
Build champions with the field: partner with AEs, SEs, and CS to identify accounts, find and develop internal champions, and hand off what surfaces cleanly to the teams who should own it
Keep it credible: protect the non-promotional, education-first nature of the sessions; this motion works because it isn't a sales pitch
Prove it with evidence: instrument the pilot, produce session readouts, debrief with reps, and make the scale, adjust, or stop recommendation based on what the data shows
Shape what comes next: as the motion proves out, define how it scales, including the playbook future advocates would run
Qualifications:
A background spanning at least two of: developer advocacy, solutions engineering, developer education, technical marketing
Comfortable in enterprise rooms: you can teach a technical session to fifty engineers and handle hardball questions from a skeptical principal architect
Hands-on technical credibility: you build, demo, and teach, and senior engineers take you seriously
Strong operational instincts: you can run a repeatable program, prioritize incoming demand, and keep commitments to the field
Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience.
Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time
(Bonus) Experience with feature management, experimentation, observability, or agent orchestration tooling
(Bonus) You've built a customer-facing technical program (workshops, DevDays, office hours) from scratch
(Bonus) Deep enterprise software background: you understand how large engineering organizations make platform decisions
Pay:

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Emerging Talent is an important part of how Ramp builds for the long term. It gives us the opportunity to meet exceptional people early, build relationships before they enter the broader talent market, and develop the next generation of Ramp talent.
We’re hiring a Recruiter to help build and execute our Emerging Talent programs. You’ll own full-cycle recruiting across early-career roles and internships, partnering closely with hiring teams to identify, assess, and close exceptional candidates.
A big part of the job is finding talent before everyone else does. You’ll build relationships with students and early-career candidates, develop new ways to reach high-potential talent, and help create an exceptional experience from a candidate’s first interaction with Ramp through offer and, for our interns, potential conversion to full-time. You’ll also have the opportunity to improve how we operate, test new approaches, and help shape a growing Emerging Talent function.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own full-cycle recruiting across Ramp’s Emerging Talent roles
- Partner with hiring managers across Engineering, Product, and other teams to define hiring needs, align on candidate profiles, and calibrate on early-career talent
- Identify and engage high-potential candidates through universities, student communities, technical networks, referrals, events, and other emerging-talent channels
- Lead offer and closing processes, building strong candidate relationships and helping exceptional talent understand the opportunity to build their careers at Ramp
- Support the execution of Ramp’s internship programs, including candidate programming, events, intern engagement, and intern-to-full-time conversion
- Use recruiting data to understand pipeline health, identify opportunities, and keep hiring teams informed on progress and outcomes
- Create an exceptional candidate experience that is thoughtful, transparent, and high-touch at every stage
- Experiment with new ways to identify, engage, and hire exceptional talent early, and help turn what works into repeatable recruiting practices
WHAT YOU NEED
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience; experience with Emerging Talent, university, campus, or early-career recruiting is a plus
- A track record of identifying and engaging exceptional talent, with strong instincts for candidate quality
- The ability to quickly learn new talent markets, calibrate to a high hiring bar, and recruit across different roles and functions
- Strong operational rigor and the ability to manage high-volume pipelines, competing priorities, and frequent context changes without sacrificing candidate quality or experience
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to earn trust with candidates, hiring managers, and cross-functional partners
- An experimental mindset and willingness to try new approaches to find, engage, and hire great talent
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Experience owning high-volume or seasonal hiring programs
- Experience recruiting technical or engineering early-career talent
- Experience supporting internship programs and intern-to-full-time conversion
- Experience using AI throughout the recruiting workflow to improve sourcing, candidate engagement, and execution

From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data. Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on. Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions. As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact. During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
The way data practitioners write, debug, and ship dbt code is changing fast — and you'll be the person shaping what that experience looks like at the frontier of AI-assisted development.
As the Product Manager for Developer Experience, you will own the end-to-end developer workflow in dbt Cloud: the
Studio IDE
,
Developer Agent
(our AI coding assistant), the
Cloud CLI
, and the
dbt VS Code Extension
. Together, these surfaces are the primary daily touchpoint for tens of thousands of data practitioners worldwide — from seasoned analytics engineers writing complex SQL to newer practitioners who rely on AI to help them move faster and with more confidence.
This role sits at the intersection of developer tooling and leading-edge AI. You will work in close partnership with the
Fusion team
— the engine powering dbt's next-generation compilation, intelligence, and platform capabilities — to ensure that our developer surfaces fully leverage Fusion's capabilities and that developer needs are represented in the Fusion roadmap. The tight feedback loop between Developer Experience and Fusion is core to how dbt Cloud will evolve, and you'll be a key architect of that relationship.
This is a role for someone who has thought deeply about what makes IDEs and developer tools great, and who is excited to reimagine those workflows in an era where AI can lower the floor for new practitioners while raising the ceiling for experts.
This is a full-time position based out of our New York, NY office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.
In This Role, You Will
Own the developer experience roadmap
across Studio IDE, Developer Agent, Cloud CLI, and the VS Code Extension — from near-term iteration to long-term vision.
Partner deeply with the Fusion team
to align on capabilities, surface Fusion-powered intelligence (SQL comprehension, compute, context) through developer-facing UX, and co-define the boundary between platform and product.
Lead AI-native product development
for Developer Agent — defining what a best-in-class AI coding assistant looks like for the full spectrum of dbt users, from expert analytics engineers to practitioners who are newer to code. This includes agentic workflows, context-aware suggestions, natural language interactions, and guided development experiences that meet users where they are.
Drive IDE and tooling strategy
informed by a deep understanding of modern development environments — think about what VS Code, Cursor, and other leading IDEs get right, and translate those instincts to the dbt Cloud context.
Define and execute cross-functional collaboration
with engineering, design, and GTM teams to ship high-quality developer experiences on a predictable cadence.
Build tight feedback loops
with the dbt community and enterprise customers to continuously improve developer tools, with particular attention to power users and technical practitioners.
Conduct market and user research
to understand the competitive landscape for developer tooling and AI-assisted development, and bring sharp external perspective into the roadmap.
Align developer experience investments
to broader company goals, product-led growth metrics, and the Fusion platform strategy.
What Success Looks Like
Developer satisfaction and engagement metrics (activation, session depth, feature adoption) trending up across Studio, Canvas, CLI, and Developer Agent.
Developer Agent is a differentiated, well-regarded AI coding experience for data practitioners — not just a feature, but a product.
The Studio IDE and Canvas deliver a cohesive, fast, and intelligent development workflow powered by Fusion capabilities.
Strong, trust-based execution partnership with the Fusion team: shared roadmap visibility, clear API contracts, and coordinated shipping.
The Cloud CLI is a first-class product that developers actively choose, not a fallback.
You're a Good Fit If You Have
5+ years of product management experience
, with meaningful time spent on developer tools, IDEs, or technical platforms.
Direct experience managing IDE or developer environment products
— you have an informed point of view on what makes development tools excellent and where modern IDEs fall short.
Demonstrated engagement with AI-powered development tools
— you've used, studied, and formed strong opinions about AI coding assistants (Copilot, Cursor, Devin, etc.) and how they change the development experience.
A strong technical foundation that allows you to work fluently with engineering partners, reason about system architecture, and contribute meaningfully to technical decisions.
Experience conducting user research and translating developer feedback into prioritized, scoped product work.
Excellent written and verbal communication — you can write a crisp spec, give a compelling demo, and synthesize complex tradeoffs for diverse audiences.
Comfort working asynchronously as part of a distributed, remote team.
You'll Have an Edge If You Have
Hands-on experience with dbt or similar SQL-first transformation frameworks.
Prior experience building or shipping AI agent features (agentic UX, multi-step LLM workflows, context management).
Familiarity with LSP (Language Server Protocol), tree-sitter, or other IDE infrastructure primitives.
Experience with CLI tooling and developer workflow automation.
Background in open source software development or strong engagement with developer communities.
Knowledge of modern data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Redshift, etc.) and the analytics engineering ecosystem.

This is a full-time position based out of our Denver, CO office.
