ABOUT US
Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with many of the world's biggest brands — including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank — to transform how they serve customers and grow their businesses. We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and a commitment to balancing Family along the way. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do.
Our co-founders are Bret Taylor https://www.linkedin.com/in/brettaylor/ and Clay Bavor https://www.linkedin.com/in/claybavor/. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Previously, he was co-CEO of Salesforce (which had acquired the company he founded, Quip) and CTO of Facebook. Bret was also one of Google's earliest product managers and co-creator of Google Maps. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As an Agent Strategist https://sierra.ai/blog/agent-strategist-your-phd-in-applied-ai, you own how Sierra’s AI agents come to life for our customers — from first pilot to a production agent handling thousands of conversations a day. You sit at the intersection of product, building agents and customer-facing work, and stay just as close to the technology as you are to the people you build for. You transform a customer’s thorniest, highest-stakes problems into agents that measurably move their business.
- Own the Agent Development Life Cycle https://sierra.ai/blog/agent-development-life-cycle. Take agents from initial scope through conversation design, tooling, and evaluation, to launch and continuous iteration in production — translating business goals into an agent that outperforms, and tuning relentlessly until it’s the best version of itself in the real world. You’ll have real ownership and autonomy over the outcome.
- Be the trusted strategic advisor to enterprise leaders. Sit shoulder-to-shoulder with our customers’ executives, understand what success actually means to their business, and shape the AI strategy that gets them there.
- Partner with the customer’s working teams day to day. Run working sessions, troubleshoot the agent as issues come up, and make the calls that keep the build on track for launch.
- Directly impact product. Surface unmet needs from your customer work, and feed them back to research and platform to shape where Sierra goes next.
EXAMPLE PROJECTS
These are the kinds of projects that strategists on our team have worked on recently:
- Scope and launch a subscription-retention agent for a large telecommunications or media company that consistently outperforms human agents at saving at-risk customers.
- Stand up an agent for a commerce customer that troubleshoots a broken device end-to-end and personalizes product recommendations in the same conversation.
- Redesign the conversation flows for a financial services agent so it can handle complex, regulated interactions — and convert a pilot into a multi-team production deployment. See our financial services blog https://sierra.ai/blog/five-ways-to-use-ai-agents-financial-services for examples.
- Partner with product on a net-new capability — a new agent architecture or self-service tooling — using a live customer as the design partner.
- Define the evaluation and quality bar for a new agent, then use those metrics to drive a measurable lift in outcome https://sierra.ai/blog/outcome-based-pricing-for-ai-agents week over week.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Customer obsession. Genuine energy being in front of customers — understanding their business and needs, thriving in complex organizations, and building trusted relationships.
- Communication. Clear, direct, and persuasive across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strategic problem-solving in ambiguity. Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to break down complex problems, spot risks early, and adapt as things change fast.
- Technical aptitude. Comfortable engaging directly with technical concepts - reading API documentation, understanding data models and system architecture, and following engineering tradeoffs in a design discussion.
- Ownership and delivery. A track record of running multiple complex, high-visibility projects at once and driving them to outcomes.
- Genuine interest in Financial Services and improving the end customer experience. Experience in financial technology, implementations at financial institutions, working inside of these institutions or familiarity with financial services security and compliance requirements (fair lending, PII handling, etc.) are a strong plus.
EVEN BETTER...
- Experience building or deploying AI/LLM agents in production — hands-on with the tools behind them (eval frameworks, agent tooling, RAG, prompt engineering) — working closely with technical counterparts.
- You’ve been a founder, founding team member, or operator — you know how to balance craft, ownership, and speed.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience — and/or an MBA or comparable experience at the intersection of technology and business.
OUR VALUES
- Trust: We build trust with our customers with our accountability, empathy, quality, and responsiveness. We build trust in AI by making it more accessible, safe, and useful. We build trust with each other by showing up for each other professionally and personally, creating an environment that enables all of us to do our best work.
- Customer Obsession: We deeply understand our customers’ business goals and relentlessly focus on driving outcomes, not just technical milestones. Everyone at the company knows and spends time with our customers. When our customer is having an issue, we drop everything and fix it.
- Craftsmanship: We get the details right, from the words on the page to the system architecture. We have good taste. When we notice something isn’t right, we take the time to fix it. We are proud of the products we produce. We continuously self-reflect to continuously self-improve.
- Intensity: We know we don’t have the luxury of patience. We play to win. We care about our product being the best, and when it isn’t, we fix it. When we fail, we talk about it openly and without blame so we succeed the next time.
- Family: We know that balance and intensity are compatible, and we model it in our actions and processes. We are the best technology company for parents. We support and respect each other and celebrate each other’s personal and professional achievements.

We want our benefits to reflect our values and offer the following to full-time employees:
- Flexible (unlimited) paid time off
- Medical, dental, and vision benefits for you and your family
- Life insurance and disability benefits
- Retirement plan dependent on country of employment
- Parental leave

We're working to bring the transformative power of AI to every organization in the world. To do so, it is important to us that the diversity of our employees represents the diversity of our customers. We believe that our work and culture are better when we encourage, support, and respect different skills and experiences represented within our team. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't precisely match the job description. We strive to evaluate all applicants consistently without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, pregnancy, gender expression or identity, sexual orientation, citizenship, or any other legally protected class.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
About the Role
You will serve as a front-line manager for a team of Sales Development Representatives, responsible for outbound prospecting and pipeline generation across Ramp’s SMB segment.
You will lead and evolve the SMB sales development motion by providing 1:1 coaching, onboarding, training, and mentorship; setting team strategy; and partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Executive Leadership to drive pipeline and business outcomes.
As a member of the Sales Leadership team, you will play a critical role in developing SDR talent, scaling effective outbound practices, and continuously refining Ramp’s SMB go-to-market motion.

- Develop and execute career-growth and leadership plans for direct reports, including daily 1:1 mentorship and coaching on time management, objection handling, prospecting tactics, active listening, and pipeline creation.
- Coach SDRs on effective multichannel outbound prospecting, including account research, relevant messaging, call execution, and using AI tools to improve efficiency and quality.
- Partner with AEs and Sales and Marketing counterparts on pipeline-generation, territory, and prospecting initiatives that support SMB business objectives.
- Report on team performance, pipeline health, and forecasts to senior leadership.
- Improve team output and efficiency over time by identifying opportunities to optimize systems, processes, enablement, and AI-supported workflows.
- Establish and maintain a library of prospecting resources, best practices, and training materials for the SMB SDR team.
- Represent the SMB Sales Development team cross-functionally with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Product, and other departments.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Minimum of 2 years of quota-carrying sales experience as an individual contributor, with a proven, consistent track record exceeding goals
- Minimum of 2 years of experience building and leading sales development teams with a proven track record of exceeding goal
- Prior demonstrated success in fast-paced, results-oriented GTM environments, ideally at SaaS companies, and history of consistently performing above quota in an outbound sales environment
- A passion and excitement for hiring, with a thoughtful approach to team planning and development
- Ability to articulate contractual, technical, and financial value points to customers, including executive leaders
- Proficiency in data analytics tools (ie. Salesforce, Looker, and Excel) and familiarity with email and call automation platforms
- High proficiency with AI tools (Claude, OpenAI, etc.), with the ability to incorporate tooling into prospecting, coaching, team workflows, and process improvement to drive greater SDR productivity
- Ability to leverage data to drive decisions, create systems, and identify process improvements to improve efficiency
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills, demonstrated through excellent communication and presentation skills

- Partner closely with Product and Marketing to translate agency feedback into product and GTM opportunities.
- Maintain strong pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM discipline.
- Help define Higgsfield's broader agency sales strategy and playbook as we scale.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Strong understanding of the advertising and agency ecosystem.
- Experience selling technology, platforms, or solutions into agencies or creative organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to own and close complex, high-value commercial relationships.
- Strong network across creative, advertising, media, production, or agency leadership is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both creative leaders and commercial and technical stakeholders.
- Strong executive presence, relationship-building skills, and commercial judgment.
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity and helping build a sales motion rather than simply inheriting one.
- Highly proactive, entrepreneurial, and motivated by revenue ownership.
- Genuine excitement about generative AI and how it will transform advertising and creative production.

WHO WE ARE
X-LAB is the in-house performance bicycle line by XDS, which has quietly become the world’s largest and most vertically integrated bicycle manufacturer and the largest maker of carbon fiber frames, supplying many of the top brands in cycling and mobility.
Today, XDS is quiet no more. XDS launched X-LAB in April 2026 as the global consumer brand to take the industry by storm. Three decades of experience building exceptional bicycles have culminated into a unique line of road, gravel, electric, city, hybrid, and soon mountain bikes that riders and shops can’t stop talking about.
X-LAB is the new inflection point for the category. We launched in April 2026 with a full lineup across road, gravel, city, fitness, e-bike, and soon mountain categories, with validation from the highest and most demanding levels of the sport through the XDS Astana Team and a rapidly growing network of dealers.
Our ambition is not simply to sell more bikes. It is to make great bikes more integrated, more accessible, and better supported through the independent shops and communities that grow cycling and bring in new riders. That is what makes this moment exciting. Joining X-LAB means helping to shape a company with unmatched production scale, real engineering R&D depth, and the confidence to earn trust… one rider, one dealer, one product, and one market at a time.

This is a hands-on, field-based, independent-contributor sales role focused on opening new dealer accounts and getting X-LAB bikes on shop floors across a defined territory. You’ll be out in-market most days, walking into stores, having real conversations with shop owners and managers, and building relationships face to face. This role is about laying the groundwork for XDS internationally, and being the brand’s presence on the ground.
What You’ll Do
- Build X-LAB’s presence across your territory by regularly visiting independent bicycle dealers.
- Prospect for and open new dealer accounts through planned outreach, referrals, industry relationships, and in-person cold visits.
- Manage the sales process from the first conversation through account setup and initial order.
- Grow productive relationships with new and existing dealers.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relationship-based sales experience, preferably selling to small and midsize businesses
- Comfort and flexibility with traveling up to four days per week in the field, opening doors, and starting conversations in person
- Strong territory planning, organization, CRM, and follow-up skills
- Interest in cycling, sporting goods, specialty retail, or performance products preferred; bicycle-industry experience is a plus, but not required
- Communicate fluent in both English and local languages
Success Metrics
- Qualified new dealer accounts opened.
- Territory revenue and growth against agreed targets.
- Dealer activation, repeat ordering, and account development.
Our Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary
- Demo bike fleet and comprehensive travel allowances
- Paid time off policy
