About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic is seeking a Contracts Manager to join our team in London. Embedded within our in-region commercial and legal operations, you'll work closely with local in-region counsel and lead counsel to support commercial and technology transactions across the region. We'll rely on you to help review, draft, and negotiate commercial and procurement contracts that support our cutting-edge AI systems. You'll also serve as a key partner in translating global legal strategy into regional execution — including supporting the triage of regional matters, rolling out process improvements and initiatives driven from global headquarters, and running local enablement sessions to keep business teams informed and aligned. You'll build scalable contracting processes and collaborate across Product, Sales, Finance, Business Operations, Research, and Procurement teams.
Key responsibilities
Draft, analyze, negotiate, and complete complex commercial transactions with our enterprise customers, vendors, and strategic partners, including IP licensing agreements
Propose and develop scalable solutions to improve contracting efficiency
Collaborate with business units and legal team members to streamline contract management processes, identify potential risks, and drive continuous improvement in contract handling efficiency
Collaborate with the Product, Sales, Business Operations, Research, and Procurement teams to achieve key business objectives and deliver strategic, business-minded, and solutions-focused counsel
Partner closely with in-region counsel and lead counsel on day-to-day triage of regional legal matters, ensuring workload is prioritized effectively and seamlessly coordinated between regional and global teams
Drive the regional rollout of process improvements, policy updates, and programs initiated from global headquarters, including planning and facilitating local enablement sessions to keep commercial and cross-functional stakeholders informed and ready to execute
Pitch in across other areas of the legal function — as a small team supporting big things, each of us practices across multiple areas, and we'd love to hear where else your experience or interests could contribute
Minimum qualifications
Substantive knowledge of software and SaaS agreements, reseller agreements, services agreements, strategic partnerships, and general commercial contract terms
Ability to independently draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial and procurement contracts
Experience managing the full contract lifecycle for technology transactions, sales organizations, and/or partnerships
Preferred qualifications
8+ years of related contract management experience, with at least 5 years supporting technology transactions, sales organizations, and/or partnerships
Experience operating in a fast-paced technology startup where priorities shift rapidly and schedules "move to the left"
Prior experience as part of a global or distributed legal team, including partnering with colleagues across regions and navigating the nuances of aligning local needs with centralized priorities
A track record of operating with a high degree of autonomy while keeping global stakeholders appropriately informed — comfortable setting your own cadence and exercising sound judgment about when to escalate versus when to decide
Strong habits around async communication, proactive status updates, and operating effectively with a remote manager across time zones
An understanding of what's important in the context of a contract and the organization's mission, including when to be flexible and when to draw a hard line
A knack for identifying and implementing efficient processes and policies
A preference for straightforward, concise explanations over legalese and overwrought drafting
Comfort operating outside your areas of expertise and in uncharted legal territory
The ability to thrive as a member of cross-functional teams building frontier technologies, with a desire to develop a deep understanding of our technical teams and what we are building
Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
Authentic integrity and a deep understanding of the importance of ethics in business

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Anthropic's Global Workplace & Real Estate team is delivering a rapidly expanding global portfolio — including full-building offices at the scale of ~450,000 SF that combine commercial kitchens, executive briefing centers and event space, high-end amenities, and the elevated power, cooling, and security infrastructure our work requires. We're hiring a Real Estate Construction Manager to lead the technical delivery of these projects from pre-construction through closeout and to serve as our primary technical counterpart to general contractors, design teams, and specialty vendors.
This is a hands-on construction leadership role, not a design role. You will own how our projects get built: delivery method and contracting strategy, GC selection and oversight, MEP and specialty-systems coordination, cost and schedule control, and commissioning. Executing the design direction is set by the Global Head of Real Estate & Workplace and our architects. You will also lead and develop a team of project managers delivering across the global portfolio. This role reports to the Global Head of Real Estate & Workplace.
Key responsibilities
Pre-construction & technical delivery
Lead pre-construction on complex buildouts: constructibility and design/drawing reviews, MEP and structural coordination, estimating support, value engineering, and development of the GMP or bid package.
Recommend and own the delivery method and contracting strategy for each project (e.g., GMP, lump sum, CM-at-risk, design-assist), matching the approach to scope, schedule, and risk.
Read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and specifications; surface gaps, conflicts, and risk before they reach the field.
Coordinate technically demanding scopes — commercial kitchens (Type I hoods, make-up air, grease and UL300 fire-suppression systems, utility upsizing), high-performance AV and acoustics for executive and event spaces, server/IDF rooms with redundant power and supplemental cooling, elevated power density, and integrated physical security.
Manage permitting and inspections with authorities having jurisdiction across multiple markets and labor environments.
Construction execution, quality & closeout
Oversee construction from mobilization through closeout across multiple concurrent projects, holding general contractors accountable to schedule, budget, safety, and quality.
Run the technical processes that keep a job on track: RFIs, submittals and shop drawings, ASIs, and BIM/clash coordination across trades; lead owner-architect-contractor and trade-coordination meetings.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, safety, and quality control; enforce inspection protocols and punch-list management.
Drive commissioning and closeout — systems commissioning (including kitchen exhaust/MUA balancing, BMS, and life-safety), TCO/CO, as-builts, O&M manuals, warranties, attic stock, and owner training.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, ADA requirements, and Anthropic's sustainability goals.
General contractor, vendor & contract management
Serve as the primary point of contact for general contractors, subcontractors, and external project managers, holding them to clear communication and accountability.
Lead GC selection end to end: pre-qualification/RFQ, RFP/ITB, bid leveling and scope normalization, scope-gap detection, and award — and structure the contract (GMP fee, general conditions/requirements, allowances, contingencies, qualifications, and exclusions).
Negotiate and administer contracts with contractors, vendors, and consultants; manage GC performance throughout construction, including schedule adherence, change-order management, safety compliance, and closeout.
Determine which trades and specialty vendors to carry under the GC vs. hold owner-direct, and manage critical long-lead vendors (kitchen equipment, AV, architectural millwork, switchgear/generator).
Develop and maintain landlord and property-management relationships to facilitate approvals and ongoing operations.
Cost & commercial controls
Build and own detailed budgets by trade/CSI division — separating hard costs, soft costs, FF&E, technology, allowances, and escalation — and manage design, construction, and GC contingencies deliberately.
Review and approve budgets, change orders, and invoices, including schedule-of-values setup, pay-application review (e.g., AIA G702/G703), retainage, and lien waivers, providing professional pushback to protect Anthropic's interests.
Govern the change-order process (PCO to CO, markups, substantiation) and distinguish legitimate changes from scope gaps the contractor should have carried.
Lead value engineering that protects scope and design intent; maintain cost forecasting and reporting throughout each project.
Team leadership
Directly manage and develop a team of Real Estate / Construction Project Managers delivering projects across the global portfolio.
Set technical standards, playbooks, and performance expectations; balance workload across the team by project complexity and development goals.
Coach the team through complex technical and commercial problem-solving; review progress, identify blockers, and course-correct.
Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing, and structure the function to support rapid growth.
Stakeholder management & communication
Partner closely with internal stakeholders — Security, IT, Facilities, Finance, and business teams — to ensure technical and operational requirements are built into project plans.
Create executive-level presentations and reporting on project status, budget, schedule, and risk, with clear recommendations.
Craft clear communications to the broader employee population about office changes, construction impacts, and workspace enhancements.
Minimum qualifications
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate, or a related field.
Bring deep, hands-on construction expertise —
reading and interpreting architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and specifications, and running the field from them.
Command construction delivery methods and contract structures —
GMP, lump sum, cost-plus, and design-assist — and the mechanics of change-order management.
Have delivered technically complex scopes —
e.g., commercial kitchens, high-end client/amenity and event spaces, data/server rooms with redundant power and cooling, and integrated security systems.
Are strong in pre-construction —
constructibility review, estimating, value engineering, and bid leveling.
Command cost and commercial controls —
budgeting by division, schedule of values, pay-application review, change-order governance, and contingency management.
Have managed budgets for projects ranging from $50M to $300M+, and multiple complex projects concurrently.
Have navigated permitting and inspections across multiple jurisdictions, in union and non-union environments.
Have directly managed and developed project managers through full project lifecycles, and can scale a delivery function for rapid growth.
Are proficient with construction PM software (e.g., Procore) and CPM scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6 or MS Project), plus MS Office.
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages from the C-suite to the general population.
Are willing to travel 25–50% to various office locations.
Preferred qualifications
Have 10+ years in corporate real estate construction management, general contracting, or a related field, with a track record of delivering complex office buildouts on time and on budget.
Hold PMP (or equivalent) and OSHA 30 certifications.
Possess LEED accreditation or demonstrated experience with sustainable building practices.
Have commissioning experience on technically complex base-building or tenant systems.
Bring an established network of general contractors, subcontractors, and specialty vendors.
Have international project experience and an understanding of building standards and permitting across different countries.
Have worked in high-growth technology environments, particularly those scaling from 500 to 5,000+ employees.
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.

As Marketing Strategy Director at Airalo, you will collaborate closely with the Growth organization to define and optimize acquisition, conversion, and retention targets across regions and channels. You will operate as a central, region agnostic capital allocator within Growth — ensuring time, budget, and effort are deployed toward the highest incremental impact opportunities. Acting as a key partner to Growth leadership, you will turn complex data into clear trade off decisions, pressure test assumptions, and help determine where the next dollar and the next hour should be invested.
In this role, you will own Growth’s forecasting and planning processes, ensuring regional and central teams are aligned on targets, assumptions, and trade offs. You will run the operating cadence for Growth, steward the business inputs, scenario frameworks, and planning logic layered on top of Data’s forecasting model, and translate performance insights into cross regional and cross channel allocation decisions that improve incremental growth and capital efficiency — operating within the financial guardrails set by our Finance team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Forecasting, Planning & Operating Rhythm
Own Growth’s forecasting process end to end: gather assumptions, challenge inputs, coordinate with Data, and prepare forecast narratives for leadership
Maintain and continuously refine the business logic, pacing, scenario planning, and target setting frameworks built on top of Airalo’s forecasting model
Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews — prepare materials, synthesize insights, and ensure follow-ups drive real action
Run weekly operating cadence for Growth: performance reviews, KPI tracking, variance analysis, and strategic escalations
Budget Allocation & Strategic Decision Support
Build data-driven recommendations on spend allocation across regions and channels, using CAC, pLTV, incrementality and ROI insights to optimize for incremental profit/growth
Conduct granular regional deep dives (country/segment/channel) and identify levers to improve growth or efficiency.
Identify cross-regional capital reallocation opportunities and quantify trade-offs between markets (e.g., where incremental $1 delivers highest marginal return).
Partner with Growth, Product, Brand, and Finance to align on targets, trade-offs, and the drivers behind plan variances.
Analytics Partnership & Insight Activation
Serve as Growth’s primary business partner to the Data team: consolidate analytical needs, provide business context, and ensure high-quality inputs into Data’s roadmap.
Translate analytical outputs (forecasts, dashboards, experiment results) into decisions, actions, and processes that stick.
Ensure Growth teams adopt and operationalize dashboards and models — build documentation, training, and clear workflows.
Cross-Functional Strategy & Special Projects
Lead cross-functional projects such as regional/channel diagnostics, efficiency audits, or market deep-dives - including 30 day “drop-in” sprints to fix specific business problems
Build frameworks that guide decision-making: ROI models, sizing models, scenario tools, prioritization structures.
Identify and implement process improvements across the Growth org to increase speed, clarity, and execution quality.
Must Haves:
9+ years in Marketing Strategy, BizOps, FP&A, Management Consulting, Strategy & Operations, or similar analytical roles.
Demonstrated experience owning planning cycles and influencing capital allocation decisions at a multi-market or global level.
Demonstrated ability to maintain forecasting models (Excel/Sheets) and run scenario planning, CAC/LTV experience, pacing, and ROI logic.
Strong analytical proficiency: Excel (advanced), and comfort working with SQL and modern BI tools (Looker, Lightdash, Tableau). Experience with MMM models a plus.
Clear experience turning data into recommendations — not just reporting results, but synthesizing insights into “what we do next.”
Ability to challenge assumptions, pressure-test inputs, and navigate ambiguous or incomplete data.
Experience working cross-functionally with channel leads, PMs, and Data teams; strong communication skills with senior stakeholders.
Comfort managing complex, deadline-driven projects, prioritizing across markets, and driving alignment among multiple teams.
A proactive, structured problem-solver who can pick up unclear problems, untangle them, and deliver clarity with minimal guidance.
Nice To Haves:
Experience in consumer tech, marketplace, travel, or subscription businesses
Familiarity with marketing analytics: attribution, CAC/LTV modeling, incrementality testing, funnel analysis
Comfort coordinating experimentation roadmaps and interpreting lift tests or causal results
Prior experience as the business partner to a Data/Analytics org

Anthropic's Inference organization serves Claude to millions of users and enterprise customers with the speed, reliability, and efficiency that frontier AI demands. We build across GPUs, TPUs, and Trainium, and the complexity of our development environment grows with every platform we add. We're looking for a Staff engineer to be the technical lead for Inference Developer Productivity: the team that makes every engineer in the org dramatically more effective at building, testing, and shipping inference software.
This is a senior IC role with broad technical ownership. You'll set technical direction for the team's toolchains, workflows, and feedback loops, and you'll be the one making the hard calls on architecture, prioritization, and tradeoffs across heterogeneous accelerator platforms. You'll pair with the team's Engineering Manager, who owns hiring and people development, while you own the technical roadmap and drive the work. You'll also partner closely with Anthropic's central Infrastructure org, where company-wide developer productivity lives, to make sure Inference's multi-accelerator reality is well served without duplicating effort.
This role is for someone who has been the technical anchor on a platform or infrastructure team before, who thinks in systems and feedback loops, and who gets real satisfaction from the moment another engineer stops fighting their environment and starts shipping.
Key responsibilities
Set technical direction for Inference Developer Productivity, owning the architecture and roadmap for toolchains, dev environments, and CI/CD across GPU (CUDA), TPU, and Trainium platforms
Be the technical owner of accelerator toolchain management: compilers, drivers, libraries, frameworks, kept current, compatible, and well-tested so Inference engineers focus on model serving instead of environment archaeology
Design and build infrastructure for efficient accelerator usage during development, including devbox environments, pre- and post-land validation automation, and shared tooling that reduces the cost of working across heterogeneous hardware
Define and instrument productivity metrics for the Inference org, building the dashboards and alerting that surface regressions early (smoke tests red for extended periods, build times creeping up, toolchain breakages) and drive them to resolution
Proactively hunt down bottlenecks, toil, and friction across Inference engineering workflows, then design and build the systems that eliminate them
Act as the technical counterpart to Anthropic's central Infrastructure org, aligning on shared developer productivity initiatives, contributing Inference-specific requirements, and making the call on build vs. adopt
Mentor engineers on the team through design review, code review, and direct collaboration, raising the technical bar without owning headcount
Minimum qualifications
8+ years of software engineering experience, with significant time as the technical lead or anchor on an infrastructure, platform, or developer productivity team
Deep background in systems engineering, build/test infrastructure, or ML infrastructure, with the ability to go hands-on with toolchain issues, CI/CD pipelines, and developer workflow optimization
Experience owning toolchains or development environments for compute-intensive workloads (ML training or inference, HPC, large-scale distributed systems)
Real depth in at least one accelerator ecosystem (CUDA/GPU, TPU, or Trainium/AWS Neuron) and genuine appetite to learn the others
A track record of defining and using engineering metrics to drive improvement: you've built dashboards, set SLOs on developer workflows, or led initiatives that measurably improved engineering velocity
Experience driving technical alignment across organizational boundaries, advocating for your team's needs while contributing to shared infrastructure
Strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to influence technical direction without formal authority
Preferred qualifications
Experience with ML compiler toolchains (XLA, Triton, NeuronX) or accelerator driver/firmware management at scale
Background building or running shared development environments (devboxes, remote development, ephemeral environments) for hardware-dependent workflows
Experience with CI/CD systems at scale, particularly for workloads involving accelerator hardware
Familiarity with Kubernetes-based development and job scheduling environments
Prior tech lead experience on a developer productivity or platform engineering team at a fast-growing AI/ML company

Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the Role
Anthropic's API is the foundation that customers, developers, and our own products build on, and it is scaling fast. We're hiring a Technical Program Manager to drive the scaling and core efficiency programs for the API stack, working at the intersection of the API and the infrastructure it runs on (compute, databases, networking, and inference).
Today this work spans many teams and many simultaneous programs, with no single person focused on cohesion across them. You'll be the center: the person who connects isolated workstreams into one coherent roadmap, makes cross-org dependencies visible before they become blockers, and creates clarity on who owns which decisions. Success looks like an API stack that scales efficiently and predictably, with programs that land because someone is accountable for the whole picture.
Responsibilities
Drive scaling and core efficiency programs for the API stack from architectural direction through sequenced, deliverable execution
Run multiple large programs simultaneously across infrastructure, networking, and the API layer
Act as the connective tissue between API, infrastructure, database, networking, and inference teams, owning cross-org dependencies end to end
Establish decision-making clarity: who owns what, where trade-offs get made, and how isolated streams roll up into one program view
Surface risks, progress, and trade-offs to engineering leadership with the right altitude and cadence
You may be a good fit if you
Have 7+ years of technical program management experience, with a track record of successfully delivering complex, cross-functional programs
Have experience with API platforms, distributed systems, and core infrastructure programs and can engage meaningfully with the engineers who design and operate them
Have driven scaling, performance, or efficiency programs for high-volume production systems, including the tradeoffs across performance, reliability, and cost
Have coordinated programs spanning many partner organizations, managing cross-team dependencies, commitments, and escalations at the working level
Are highly organized and can manage multiple parallel workstreams effectively across distributed teams
Thrive in unstructured environments with a knack for bringing order to chaos and creating clarity in ambiguous situations, including where decision ownership is unclear
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence without authority
Are passionate about Anthropic's mission and interested in the challenges of operating AI infrastructure safely and reliably

Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the RL Teams
Our Reinforcement Learning teams play a critical role in advancing our AI systems. We've contributed to all Claude models, with significant impacts on the autonomy and coding capabilities of our latest Claude models. Our work spans several key areas:
Developing systems that enable models to use computers effectively
Advancing code generation through reinforcement learning
Pioneering fundamental RL research for large language models
Building scalable RL infrastructure and training methodologies
Enhancing model reasoning capabilities
We collaborate closely with Anthropic's alignment and frontier red teams to ensure our systems are both capable and safe. We partner with the applied production training team to bring research innovations into deployed models, and are dedicated to implement our research at scale. Our Reinforcement Learning teams sit at the intersection of cutting-edge research and engineering excellence, with a deep commitment to building high-quality, scalable systems that push the boundaries of what AI can accomplish.
About the Role
We're hiring for the Code RL team within the RL organization. As a Research Engineer, you'll advance our models' ability to write, edit, test, debug, and ship real software — end to end, on real codebases, with real tools — and to do it correctly, fast, and safely.
This role blends research and engineering. You'll design RL environments and coding tasks, build the reward signals and verifiers that capture what "good code" means, run training experiments on frontier models, diagnose why a model does (or doesn't) get better at a class of software-engineering work, and improve the speed and reliability of the pipelines that make all of that iterate fast. Code RL spans several focus areas — from agentic coding behaviors and code correctness, to long-horizon autonomous engineering, to high-performance code for accelerators — and we'll match you to the area where you'll have the most impact.
You may be a good fit if you:
Have strong software-engineering skills and deep Python expertise, including async/concurrent programming
Are comfortable owning systems end to end and debugging across the stack
Can balance research exploration with engineering implementation, and engage rigorously in shaping experimental design and interpreting results
Care about code quality, testing, and performance
Are passionate about the potential impact of AI and are committed to developing safe and beneficial systems
Strong candidates may also have:
Experience with reinforcement learning, RLHF, post-training, or LLM finetuning
Built coding agents, code-execution sandboxes, eval harnesses, verifiers, or developer tooling
Background in program analysis, testing, verification, compilers, or formal methods
Experience with PyTorch and large-scale distributed training; performance profiling and optimization of ML systems
CUDA / GPU or TPU kernel experience and accelerator-performance intuition
Experience with virtualization and sandboxed code execution environments
