FP Markets Group of Companies
is a well-established multi-regulated broker, founded in Australia, offering traders access to CFD trading on Forex, Indices, Commodities, Stocks and Cryptocurrencies. We are growing and looking to recruit a Full-time Paid Social & Mobile App Growth Manager.
You will own two of our biggest growth levers: paid social across web and app, and mobile app growth from install to first-time deposit (FTD). Sitting in the Growth Team (Global Paid Growth), you will set strategy, run a multi-channel budget and decide each month where spend goes, web sign-ups or app installs, based on cost per FTD and return on ad spend (ROAS). You will own the numbers from impression to FTD and beyond.
How success is measured
Leads and FTDs from paid social (web) and from the app, by source and region.
Cost per install, cost per registration and CPA per FTD against target, by region and platform.
Install-to-FTD conversion rate.
30 / 90-day ROAS on web and app cohorts.
Spend within the approved monthly budget.
App store conversion rate (page view to install), keyword rankings and average rating.
Responsibilities
Strategy and budget
Own the paid social and mobile app acquisition strategy, budget and forecast across all target regions.
Decide each month how spend splits between web and app objectives, based on cost per FTD, ROAS and install-to-FTD conversion.
Manage monthly budget pacing with Marketing Operations, reallocating spend weekly based on CPA, ROAS and cohort quality, and report performance against objectives.
Paid social (web and app)
Plan, launch and optimise paid campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, X, LinkedIn and Reddit, for both web leads and app installs.
Own account structure, audiences, bidding and campaign naming across all paid social platforms.
Optimise beyond installs and leads to registration, KYC completion and FTD, using value-based and event-based bidding.
Run a continuous creative testing programme with the Creative and Content teams: briefs (video, playables, static, store assets), variants, learnings and fatigue tracking.
Mobile app acquisition
Plan, launch and optimise app install and in-app event campaigns across Apple Search Ads, Google App Campaigns (UAC) and selected programmatic / mobile ad network partners.
Source, onboard and manage app networks and agencies, with strict fraud controls.
ASO and organic app growth
Own App Store and Google Play optimisation: keyword research, metadata, screenshots, preview videos and localisation for priority languages.
Run store-listing experiments (Google Play Experiments, Apple Product Page Optimisation) and Custom Product Pages aligned to paid campaigns.
Grow ratings and reviews through in-app prompts and review management.
Drive web-to-app and cross-channel installs with SEO, Content, CRM and Partnerships (IB/affiliate) teams, including deep links and QR flows.
Measurement and attribution
Own mobile measurement through our MMP (AppsFlyer): SDK events, deep links, SKAdNetwork / AdAttributionKit, Google Privacy Sandbox for Android, and UTM / tracking-link standards.
Keep web (Meta Pixel / Conversions API) and app (MMP) attribution aligned and deduplicated, so paid social results are counted once.
Work with Data Engineering on cohort, CAC, LTV, ARPU and ROAS reporting (30- and 90-day) that ties installs and sign-ups to FTD and net deposits.
Keep event tracking, postbacks and attribution windows accurate across all partners.
Funnel and conversion
Partner with Product and Dev on onboarding, KYC and first-deposit flows in the app to lift install-to-FTD conversion.
Work with the CRM & Lifecycle manager (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) on push, in-app and email journeys for new app users.
Compliance
Ensure all ads and app store assets meet the requirements of each regulator (ASIC, CySEC, FSCA and others), platform ad policies for financial products, and Apple / Google app store guidelines, including risk warnings and country restrictions.
Out of scope
Organic social and community (Discord, Reddit communities, Telegram), owned by the Organic Social & Community Growth Manager.
Candidate profile
Must have
4+ years in paid acquisition, covering both paid social (Meta, TikTok and at least one other platform) and mobile app user acquisition.
Proven experience in online retail trading (FX/CFDs), iGaming or crypto: you understand regulated, high-CPA acquisition, deposit-driven funnels and the ad-platform restrictions these verticals face.
Hands-on ownership of a multi-channel paid budget of USD 250k+ a month.
Hands-on experience with Apple Search Ads, Google App Campaigns, MetaAds, LinkedIn, X and ASO, with proven results on both App Store and Google Play as well as driving Web/Desktop Leads and FTDs
Deep working knowledge of an MMP (AppsFlyer preferred), SKAdNetwork, post-ATT measurement and deep linking, plus Meta Pixel / Conversions API.
Strong analytical skills: cohort analysis, LTV modelling, incrementality thinking and ROAS-based budget decisions; comfortable in Excel / Google Sheets and BI dashboards.
Experience optimising to down-funnel events (registration, deposit), not just clicks or installs.
A track record of running structured creative testing at scale.
Fluent English, written and spoken.
Nice to have
Experience with programmatic and mobile ad networks.
Experience with Snapchat, Reddit and other social or new ad channels such as ChatGPT.
Knowledge of financial-promotion rules (ASIC, CySEC, FSCA) and Apple / Google policies for financial apps.
SQL or BigQuery; familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
A second language relevant to our key markets (e.g. Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese, Thai or Vietnamese).
Personal attributes
Commercial and numbers-driven: you decide on cost per FTD, not clicks or installs.
Comfortable owning a large budget and explaining every euro of it.
A fast tester who learns from failures and scales winners quickly.
Collaborative with Creative, Product, CRM and Data Engineering.
Our offer
A welcoming, young and multicultural team with approachable leadership.
Real autonomy over a large growth budget, and the chance to contribute to a dynamic business in a growth phase.
Support for your ideas and room to put your expertise into the company's best practices.
Continuous personal development, a training and development budget, growth with the company and the opportunity to learn from industry leaders.
Competitive remuneration, regular salary reviews and performance-based incentive schemes.
A vibrant company life: from team activities to global celebrations.

About Us
Since 2013, we’ve been building a CRM that gets out of your way and helps your team sell more, faster. Now we’re building AI into every part of it, so Close does the busywork and your team does the selling. No manual data entry, no 10-click workflows. Just communication-first, AI-powered sales software designed to help you succeed and scale.
We're bootstrapped and profitable which means we answer to our customers and play by our rules. We're proud of our 130-person, 100% remote team, focused on building Close so that no small, scaling business fails because it can't figure out sales.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Close is a CRM built around the communication tools sales teams use every day: email, calling, SMS, workflows, reporting, and AI. Underneath that product is a broad technical surface — Python services and a large application backend, a TypeScript and React frontend, public APIs, Docker and Kubernetes, AWS infrastructure, and integrations with providers that handle sensitive customer data.
Security work happens across it all today, but the ownership is spread across Engineering, Infrastructure, and Security & Trust. We’re hiring our first dedicated Product Security Engineer to make that work systematic. You’ll report to the Backend Platform team manager within EPD (Engineering, Product, and Design), while working across the entire product and infrastructure surface. You’ll find vulnerabilities, determine which findings matter most, and drive them through remediation. Often you’ll fix the problem yourself. Other times you’ll give the owning team a clear reproduction, a practical path forward, and enough context to prioritize correctly.
You’ll analyze code, build proof-of-concepts, test running applications, tune or replace noisy tools, and automate the repetitive parts of vulnerability management. This is not a role where you forward scanner alerts and call the queue managed. Product and application security will be your responsibility. You’ll partner closely with our Infrastructure team on cloud security, access, and secrets, and with our Security & Trust Lead on GRC Engineering https://grc.engineering/, compliance (SOC 2) goals, audits, and corporate security.
This role is a new one at Close. You’ll have significant room to decide where better tooling, clearer ownership, and a small amount of code can reduce the most risk.
OUR STACK
Our backend is primarily Python, with Flask and FastAPI services and TaskTiger https://github.com/closeio/tasktiger and Temporal handling much of our asynchronous work. We expose REST https://developer.close.com/ and GraphQL APIs and store data in MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Redis.
Our frontend is a large single-page TypeScript application built primarily with React. We bundle with Vite, target modern browsers, and test with Vitest, React Testing Library, Playwright, and Chromatic. The product updates in near real time and uses technologies including WebSockets and WebRTC. Our mobile application is built with React Native.
We build and test Docker images in CI/CD and continuously deploy them to Kubernetes on AWS. Our infrastructure uses managed services including EKS, MSK, and ElastiCache, alongside services running on EC2. Terraform and Ansible automate much of the underlying infrastructure, and our containerized local development environment lets engineers run the full system on their own machines.
For this role, our stack extends beyond simply backend or frontend: browser behavior, frontend state, API authorization, asynchronous processing, data access, third-party integrations, containers, and cloud configuration can all be part of the same attack path.
We love open sourcing our code and ideas on our GitHub https://github.com/closeio and on The Making of Close https://making.close.com/, our behind-the-scenes Product & Engineering blog. Check out our open source projects like SocketShark https://github.com/closeio/socketshark, TaskTiger https://github.com/closeio/tasktiger, LimitLion https://github.com/closeio/limitlion and ciso8601 https://github.com/closeio/ciso8601.
AI is both how we build and what we ship, and that's reshaped what engineering looks like. This is a transformation we’re embracing and find deeply exciting.
YOU ARE
- An application security engineer who writes code. You can move from reading an unfamiliar code path, to reproducing an exploit, to proposing or shipping a production-quality fix. Strong Python or TypeScript experience would be especially useful; fluency across both backend and frontend systems is even better.
- Skilled at finding vulnerabilities conventional scanners may miss. You use modern AI-assisted review pipelines, guided by expert judgment, to uncover subtle flaws in web apps and APIs—from authentication, authorization, and tenant isolation to injection, SSRF, unsafe data flows, and business logic. You can threat-model designs, white-box review code, and test running systems.
- Offensive-minded and operationally responsible. You know how to test like an attacker without being careless with customer data or production systems. You can turn a finding into a safe reproduction, assess exploitability and business impact, and retest the eventual fix.
- An automation builder. You have worked with some mix of SAST, DAST, software composition analysis, container scanning, secrets scanning, or cloud posture tooling. More importantly, you know how to tune tools, connect them to engineering workflows, and remove noise.
- AI-native and accountable. You use coding agents and LLMs to accelerate investigation, code review, and repetitive engineering work, but you verify their output. You think carefully about what happens when agents clone untrusted code, install dependencies, or receive access to credentials.
- Able to separate severity from priority. A score is an input, not a foregone conclusion. You consider reachability, existing controls, customer impact, and attack chains, then explain the risk in language that is legible to an engineer or business owner.
- Comfortable working across the business. You’ll collaborate with product engineers, Site Reliability Engineers, Security & Trust Lead, auditors, and external researchers without confusing partnership for pass-off ownership. You will follow findings to closure even when another team is responsible for the fix.
- Self-directed in a remote environment. You can take an ambiguous surface (say, secret rotation or dependency remediation) and learn how it works across multiple systems then turn it into a practical plan with measurable progress.
You do not need to arrive as the deepest expert in every part of this scope. You do need to be able to investigate an unfamiliar system, determine what matters, and bring the right people with you.
YOU WILL
The work spans hands-on application security, security automation, vulnerability management, and infrastructure partnership. Depending on where you find the greatest risk and leverage, projects could include:
- Build a recurring product security review program. Threat model new features, audit high-risk areas, review code, and build safe proof-of-concepts in isolated development environments. Work across our backend, frontend, APIs, and customer-facing integrations.
- Improve application security testing. Combine static analysis, dependency and secrets scanning, dynamic testing in development, and carefully scoped production testing. Use existing tools where they fit and build focused automation where they don’t.
- Own vulnerability intake and remediation. Triage findings from HackerOne, scanners, penetration tests, audits, customers, and internal research. Reproduce issues, assess exploitability and impact, track remediation, and verify fixes. Serve as technical lead for our bug bounty program while contract and budget ownership remain elsewhere.
- Turn security alerts into useful engineering work. Verify scanner coverage and automate ingestion, deduplication, enrichment, prioritization, and routing—so teams spend less time interpreting alerts and more time fixing important issues.
- Make dependency remediation safer and less manual. Improve scanning across our Python and TypeScript codebases, then build workflows to assess upgrades, stage pull requests, run checks, and route work without exposing credentials to untrusted packages or build steps.
- Make secrets routinely rotatable. Partner with service owners and Infrastructure to inventory application secrets, add graceful rotation paths, document provider-specific runbooks, and automate rotation where the provider and risk justify it. Expand our use of Vault-backed dynamic credentials and reduce the number of rotations that require a coordinated fire drill.
- Strengthen AWS security with Infrastructure. Evaluate and improve automated detection of risky configuration across identity, networking, compute, storage, containers, and registries. Turn findings into secure defaults, just-in-time access patterns, infrastructure guardrails, and actionable remediation—not build a second Infrastructure team.
- Support audits and raising the security floor. Partner with Security & Trust on external assessments, provide technical context, and ensure findings are fixed rather than rediscovered. Along the way, create documentation, paved roads, and lightweight training that helps engineers make safer choices without waiting for a security review.
- Take a key technical role in security incident response. Partner with Engineering and Infrastructure to coordinate investigation, containment, and remediation. Contribute to root-cause analysis and follow-up improvements, translating lessons learned into stronger controls and reduced recurrence.
Tech you’ll touch: Python, TypeScript, React, Flask, FastAPI, GraphQL, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Vault, GitHub Actions, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch and the security tooling you help us choose.

✨ ONE PLATFORM, A WHOLE WORLD OF OPPORTUNITY
The best jobs have always clustered in a handful of the world's wealthiest cities. But talent is everywhere. Oyster set out to close that gap - building a global employment platform that lets companies hire, pay, and care for brilliant people anywhere.
We're proof that a high-performing culture doesn't need an office. Distributed across 60+ countries since 2020, we've built something the industry keeps noticing:
- Ranked #10 of 250 on TIME and Statista's 2026 list of America's Top WorkTech Companies https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-hr-named-10-of-americas-top-worktech-companies-of-2026-by-time
- Named one of America's Greatest Startup Workplaces 2026 https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-2026-newsweek-award by Newsweek
- A G2 Spring 2026 Leader https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-named-best-roi-for-any-global-employment-platform-for-g2-spring-2026 across Employer of Record, Global Employment, Multi-country Payroll, and HR Compliance
- The only B Corp-certified global employment platform ~ independently verified since 2023
Two of those rankings measured our business impact from the outside. One measured how our own people feel about working here. They landed in the same place ~ because at Oyster, culture and performance aren't separate conversations. They're the same one.
And we're just getting started. If you want to do the best work of your career alongside people who care as much as you do, we'd love for you to apply.
THE ROLE
Location: While this position is posted in a specific location, all of Oyster's positions are fully remote, you can work from home, forever. To create the best experience for our new hire, this role requires you to be based within +3 / -5 UTC.
We’re hiring a Lead Product Manager to own the vision, strategy, and outcomes for a critical area of Oyster’s Employer of Record product. You will shape customer-facing experiences, internal tools, and operational workflows that help companies employ talent globally with confidence, compliance, and simplicity.
You will work across the full EOR system, not only individual features, to understand how customer needs, country requirements, policies, data, operational processes, and technology interact. You will start with the customer problem and desired business outcome, use direct discovery and first-principles reasoning to identify root causes, and decide whether the best intervention belongs in product, process, policy, Operations, or a combination.
You’ll operate independently, making and communicating difficult trade-offs amid ambiguity. You will constructively challenge requested solutions, align senior stakeholders, and connect product decisions to measurable customer, operational, and commercial impact. You will also identify where AI and automation create real value, and where risk or customer needs call for a human in the loop.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the product vision, strategy, prioritization, and measurable outcomes for an EOR sub-domain.
- Build a systems-level view of customer journeys, internal workflows, policy constraints, data flows, and exceptions across the EOR lifecycle.
- Lead direct customer and operational discovery. Separate symptoms and feature requests from underlying problems, and evaluate product, process, policy, and operational interventions before choosing a solution.
- Translate strategy into outcome-based roadmaps with clear decisions, learning plans, and success measures.
- Work deeply with Operations and AI Engineers to improve scalability, exception handling, service quality, and cost-to-serve, not simply digitize existing processes.
- Partner with Engineering and Design from discovery through delivery, using prototypes and technical insight to reduce risk early.
- Constructively challenge and align senior stakeholders across Legal, Compliance, Finance, Operations, and Go-to-Market, and communicate strategy, trade-offs, and impact clearly in senior forums.
- Contribute repeatable product practices that strengthen discovery, decision quality, and outcome ownership across the Product organization.
CORE REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years in Product Management, including demonstrable experience owning a complex product area end-to-end.
- 3+ years in HR tech, payroll, benefits, hiring, compliance, or another regulated or operationally complex B2B domain.
- Strong systems thinking, with the ability to explain how policy, operations, data, and technology interact, including exceptions and edge cases.
- Proven first-principles thinking: the ability to separate the requested feature from the desired outcome and explain why one intervention (product, process, policy, or Operations) was chosen over the alternatives.
- Strategic judgment and independence: proven ability to make significant decisions under ambiguity, with explicit trade-offs and a clear view of what was deprioritized.
- Deep direct-customer discovery, with examples where conversations with customers and operational teams materially changed the problem definition or planned solution.
- Proven ability to constructively challenge, persuade, and align senior stakeholders with competing priorities, and to partner strongly with Operations, Engineering, and Design.
- Clear executive communication, with evidence of measurable customer, operational, or commercial impact (e.g. cost-to-serve, cycle time, retention), including the baseline, the change, and how the result was attributed to the decision.
Bonus / Nice-to-Have Experience
- EOR, payroll, HR technology, benefits, compliance, fintech, healthcare, logistics, or another regulated and operationally complex domain. Transferable experience counts where the complexity is comparable (multi-country rules, compliance exposure, human-in-the-loop workflows).
- Scaling products or workflows across countries, customers, teams, or markets.
- Hands-on experience prototyping with AI tools or shipping responsible AI- or automation-enabled product experiences.
- Fully distributed and multicultural working experience.
YOU'LL ALSO NEED
- A reliable home internet connection and fluency in both written and spoken English.
- High standards for quality, ethics, privacy, and compliance in products that affect people and employment.
