The Maintenance Leading Hand is a hands-on trade leadership role responsible for diagnosing and rectifying mechanical faults, coordinating workshop activities, and ensuring equipment is safely prepared, certified and mobilised to meet project requirements. The role provides practical technical direction to trades and contractors, while personally completing complex maintenance and troubleshooting tasks in accordance with priorities set by the Operations Superintendent - Assets. The position also coordinates day-to-day facility requirements across workshops, yards and operational areas, supporting safe, functional and compliant workplaces. It works closely with CSG, business lines, QHSE, logistics, vendors and project teams to improve asset reliability, equipment readiness and mobilisation execution.
