Location: Remote, Global
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Cloud Platform Engineer at Supabase, you’ll join Cloud Engineering, part of Engineering Operations, and shape the foundations that let engineering teams build, ship, and operate infrastructure safely and independently across AWS and GCP.
This is a role spanning cloud governance, platform engineering, and hands-on operations. You’ll work across AWS and GCP account structure, identity and access management, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), reusable platform primitives, security boundaries, and self-service workflows for engineers.
You’ll be joining at a point where many of these foundations are being actively defined or reworked. We’re looking for someone who can take ambiguous, messy, business-critical infrastructure problems and turn them into pragmatic systems, tools, standards, and written guidance that scale with the company and empower teams to go faster.
WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Designing and implementing cloud governance across AWS and GCP, including identity, account organization, access controls, and guardrails.
- Building reusable infrastructure and building blocks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), enabling teams to provision and manage infrastructure safely and consistently.
- Creating self-service capabilities that reduce organizational friction and let engineers move more quickly within sensible boundaries.
- Owning resource governance and visibility: management tagging, a trustworthy inventory of what exists and who owns it, and consistent cross-account billing data.
- Developing reusable security primitives, including secrets storage, KMS, certificate management, token vending, direct service-to-service authentication, mTLS, and related platform services.
- Owning cloud-level network and operational primitives: IP address management, DNS, and health signals such as service-limit and quota alerting.
- Combining software engineering with hands-on operations and total ownership: building, deploying, monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving what you own.
- Establishing and sharing cloud engineering best practices through documentation, internal tooling, examples, and enablement.
YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU
- Have 5+ years of experience in cloud governance, platform engineering, and/or operations, have operated production systems at scale, and carried on-call for them.
- Have previously undertaken a significant migration, e.g. rearchitected an AWS account topology, introduced IaC for existing infrastructure, centralized identity/SSO, or brought a second cloud under governance.
- Enjoy building internal platform and self-service experiences for other engineers.
- Are genuinely deep in at least one—ideally two—of the three strength areas below (and tell us which is your center of gravity):
- Tooling & ecosystem: You’re intimately familiar with the breadth of AWS services in general, and IAM/SSO in particular. You know their Well-Architected Framework, and when to reach outside. You have working knowledge of GCP. You use IaC routinely and have run it in production, whichever tool. You’ve probably collaborated with auditors on meeting compliance requirements.
- Software engineering: You write real production code (Go, Rust, or a comparable systems language), and can build reliable, maintainable services. You thrive across all stages of the SDLC, set technical direction, know how to de-risk projects, and produce written artifacts such as RFCs.
- Operations: You’ve run production infrastructure yourself: carried the pager, written the alerts and runbooks, used SLOs or similar to decide what to fix first, and made shared systems less risky over time. You like owning systems, simplifying complex infrastructure problems, and turning best practices into reusable building blocks.
- Are comfortable treating infrastructure as software and have relevant experience with IaC and automation.
- Communicate clearly, work with a wide range of stakeholders, and thrive in async, globally distributed teams.
- Are comfortable navigating ambiguity and iterating toward better systems over time.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Fully Remote
We hire globally. We believe you can do your best work from anywhere. There are no Supabase offices, but we provide a WeWork membership or co-working allowance you can use anywhere in the world.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

The facility is currently under construction. You will partner with construction, engineering, and critical facilities teams to align facility completion, commissioning, and handover with hardware deployment and operational readiness. You will establish the operating team and coordinate GPU, server, network, and storage installation, integration, acceptance testing, and cloud readiness with the responsible technical teams and service providers.
This role offers the opportunity to shape the operating practices that support Nebius as its AI infrastructure business grows.
Your responsibilities will include:

Operational Deployment and Readiness
Own the integrated operational readiness plan connecting facility completion and handover milestones, equipment delivery, hardware installation, network and storage integration, staffing, and customer service readiness.
Coordinate with construction and facilities teams to verify power, cooling, and space readiness before deployment; manage dependencies and escalate gaps that could delay bringing capacity into service.
Define operational acceptance criteria for the campus and deployed infrastructure, coordinate readiness and acceptance testing with technical owners, and accept or withhold operational handover against agreed requirements.
Ensure trained teams, tested procedures, critical spares, asset records, monitoring, and vendor support are in place before production operations begin.
Coordinate GPU, server, network fabric, storage, and cloud readiness with technical owners, and jointly confirm that released capacity can support customer workloads.
Sequence hardware installation, integration, and production changes to protect live environments as additional compute capacity comes online.
Campus Operations and Reliability
Own end-to-end campus operations across critical facilities and IT infrastructure, delivering agreed uptime, performance, and service levels.
Establish 24/7 coverage, maintenance governance, change control, incident command, root-cause analysis, and business continuity practices.

Own campus operating budgets, workforce costs, vendor expenditure, and forecasts within delegated authority; contribute to capital planning and investment priorities.
Align power, cooling, rack space, equipment, and staffing capacity with deployment plans, and address constraints affecting customer commitments.
Establish asset inventory, receiving, logistics, critical spares, repair, warranty-return, and secure disposition processes.
Track budget variance, rework, delayed capacity, and operational losses; drive corrective actions and report financial impacts clearly.
Partners, City Coordination, Safety and Executive Accountability
Serve as the primary operational interface with utilities, infrastructure providers, equipment manufacturers, vendors, and service partners.
Coordinate with City of Independence departments alongside Public Affairs and Legal on site readiness, permitting and inspections, utility interfaces, emergency preparedness, and ongoing operational matters; align external communications and commitments with the responsible teams.
Hold providers accountable for safety, quality, delivery milestones, response times, and contractual service performance.
Ensure safety, environmental, physical security, and applicable compliance requirements are implemented with the responsible specialists and corporate teams.
Provide executive visibility into launch progress, workforce readiness, operating performance, financial forecasts, and risks requiring decisions.
Operational Scalability and Leadership Development
Develop repeatable deployment standards, staffing models, acceptance practices, and operating procedures that support the campus as compute capacity scales.
Build leadership succession and delegation practices that sustain reliable operations and develop future infrastructure leaders.
Share lessons and operational improvements with the broader Nebius infrastructure organization.
We expect you to have:
10+ years of experience in data center, cloud infrastructure, or comparable mission-critical operations, including senior leadership responsibility.
A track record of building and scaling organizations and leading managers across multiple technical and operational functions.
Experience leading hardware deployment, infrastructure integration, operational acceptance, or major compute capacity expansion into production service.

We're proof that a high-performing culture doesn't need an office. Distributed across 60+ countries since 2020, we've built something the industry keeps noticing:
- Ranked #10 of 250 on TIME and Statista's 2026 list of America's Top WorkTech Companies https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-hr-named-10-of-americas-top-worktech-companies-of-2026-by-time

And we're just getting started. If you want to do the best work of your career alongside people who care as much as you do, we'd love for you to apply.
The Role
Location: While this position is posted in a specific location, all of Oyster’s positions are fully remote and you can work from home. Forever. To create the best experience for our new hire, this role requires you to be based within -3 / - 8 UTC.
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant to own day-to-day accounting, monthly reporting, and ERP activities for Oyster entities around the world, with a focus on LATAM coverage. Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting and intercompany transactions for global subsidiaries.
- Prepare and review financial statements and balance-sheet reconciliations across multiple entities.
- Lead month-end and year-end close activities, maintaining clear checklists and documentation.
- Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual local statutory filings and provide complete support packages.
- Oversee local statutory audits and resolve auditor questions and adjustments.
- Reconcile local statutory records to the ERP
- Conduct financial analysis, identify trends or discrepancies, and present decision-useful insights.
- Own assigned ERP activities and improve accounting standards, controls, documentation, and automation.
- Proactively coordinate dependencies across Finance, Payroll, Tax, Legal, and external partners.
- Execute ad hoc financial projects and support junior teammates with practical guidance.
Core Requirements
- At least 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 1 year operating at senior-accountant scope.
- CPA (or part-qualified) or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Strong knowledge of multi-entity accounting, intercompany transactions, financial reporting, reconciliations, close, and audit support.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and manipulation of large datasets.

- Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and maintain quality across several entities.
- Strong written and spoken English, with effective stakeholder management in an asynchronous environment.
- Proactive follow-through, sound judgment, and a continuous-improvement and automation mindset.
Bonus / Nice-to-Have Experience
- NetSuite or a comparable ERP.
- Payroll accounting or SaaS experience.
- High-growth startup or rapidly changing international environment.
- Accounting across LATAM jurisdictions, including local statutory reporting and local-to-group reconciliation.

- You are uncomfortable investigating ambiguous discrepancies or making evidence-based accounting recommendations.
- You need close supervision to manage deadlines, follow up with stakeholders, or keep work documented.
- You prefer manual routines and have little interest in improving controls, systems, or automation.
You'll also need
- A reliable home internet connection and fluency in both written and spoken English.
