We’re scaling fast and staying true to what makes us different: an open-source legacy, a global collaborative culture, and a passion for meaningful work. Our team thrives in an innovation-driven environment where transparency, autonomy, and trust fuel everything we do.
You may not meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If this role excites you, we’d love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity.
Staff Backend Engineer - Mimir Query, Databases
This is a remote position. We are looking for candidates in the USA time zones.
What is Grafana Cloud?
Grafana Cloud is our composable observability platform that integrates metrics, logs, traces, and profiles with Grafana. It allows our customers to leverage the best open source observability software – including Prometheus, Mimir, Loki, Tempo, and Pyroscope – without the overhead of installing, maintaining and scaling their own observability stack.
The Databases team owns and operates the telemetry databases that are
Mimir for metrics
,
Loki for logs
,
Tempo for traces
, and
Pyroscope for profiles
. Our databases are offered as a hosted service in Grafana Cloud, and additionally as on-premise solutions with
Grafana Enterprise Metrics
,
Grafana Enterprise Logs
, and
Grafana Enterprise Traces
. They are multi-tenant distributed systems implemented in Go and operating at scale on Kubernetes across all major Cloud service providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
As a company we are remote-first and global, we embrace people of different experiences and backgrounds to build diverse teams where every person brings a new perspective to the software.
Mimir Squad
The Mimir squad has 3 sub-squads, Ingest, Storage, and Query, which together maintain the
Mimir OSS project
, and additionally own and operate Grafana Cloud Metrics across 3 major cloud providers. Engineers on the team focus on optimizing the efficiency and resilience of processing, storing, and querying metrics at large volumes. These services operate at a large scale and performance is key to keeping the offering competitive and running smoothly.
A Mimir engineer has various work streams. They are likely engaged in a larger project with another engineer, and they are also incorporating some performance and reliability improvements discovered through operating the system in production. They are also responsible for writing and reviewing PRs and design documents from other engineers in the squad, shepherding automated release rollouts, and participating in the on-call rotation for their systems.
What will you be doing:
Take an active role in influencing our roadmap and your own career objectives
Work with your team to deliver new features, then use the results to iterate and improve.
Drive projects from initial idea all the way to operations once it is in the hands of customers
Embrace our open-source culture and contribute to other projects that may not directly fall within your team’s scope
Design, build, operate, and maintain critical systems, owning the reliability, performance, and availability
Be a part of your team’s follow-the-sun on-call rotations and take ownership of the services you’re running
Support other team members, participate in design discussions and collaborate with the team
Learn new skills by gaining a deeper understanding of our cloud product and our customers and getting to know the codebase of a large distributed system
We invest heavily in developer productivity. You can use modern AI coding assistants as part of your daily workflow (your choice of tools, within security guidelines), backed by a company-funded usage budget so you can iterate quickly without unnecessary friction. We encourage pragmatic AI-assisted development: faster prototyping, test generation, refactors, documentation, and incident follow-ups—always with strong code review and quality standards. You'll also have access to the latest frontier models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google.
What makes you a great fit:
You are a motivated self starter with a bias towards action. You are customer focused. We build everything with our users in mind. You have a passion for creating intuitive products that fit customers’ needs. You have good time management skills, which you leverage to work on the right things at the right time.
Pragmatism: You are able to take on complex challenges and break them down to achieve short feedback loops: to analyze, design, and build modular solutions, deliver MVPs, gather data and feedback and then progress iteratively
Collaboration and communication: The smallest unit we have is a squad. You’ll be working with your teammates in a fully remote setup. Good communication and time management skills are a must.
Solid experience with at least one programming language. We use Go, but if you have familiarity with Python, C, C++, Rust or similar then that translates well
Experience with leading and delivering projects from gathering requirements, brainstorming ideas all the way to shipping a product to the customer’s hands in a self-driven and collaborative way

Wealthsimple is Canada’s leading financial innovator. The company offers a full suite of simple, sophisticated financial products across managed investing, do-it-yourself trading, cryptocurrency, tax filing, spending and saving. Wealthsimple currently serves more than 4 million Canadians and holds over $155 billion in assets under administration. The company was founded in 2014 by a team of financial experts and technology entrepreneurs, and is headquartered in Toronto, Canada.
We're proud of what we've built — and we're just getting started. Read our Culture Manual https://www.wealthsimple.com/en-ca/culture and learn more about how we work https://www.wealthsimple.com/en-ca/careers.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Partner with product designers and the creative team to bring our product to life at our bi-annual Wealthsimple Presents live events, building and refining prototypes that bring product moments to life on stage, and translating product UI into more stylized storytelling assets where the moment calls for it
- Own design for our Product Marketing surfaces including: What's New (in-app), The Report, and Social Wrapped (spotlighting top shipped products/features)
- Create launch and feature visuals for major releases and manage our app store presence.
- Produce animations, static assets, and video (including talking-head-over-product style content) that explain features and educate clients
- Serve as the brand and marketing team’s go-to resource for everything product design related.
- Build and maintain a library of UI assets and product demos that marketing and influencer partners can pull from
- Partner closely with the team who owns the marketing website to product UI elements for product detail pages, making sure the product we’re selling is elevated and showcased at its best
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has 6+ years of experience in a design role that spans product and marketing
- Portfolio that includes examples of motion design, marketing design, brand design, or product design with strong production chops
- Is strong at productionizing and can take existing product UI, brand direction, or campaign concepts and turning them into polished, launch-ready assets quickly, rather than originating core product or brand design from scratch
- Build and maintain AI-powered workflows to create scalable, repeatable asset production processes.
- Has hands-on motion and video skills as a core, daily-use part of their craft. Comfortable in After Effects and Premiere (or equivalent), producing everything from lightweight UI animations to more produced explainer/talking-head content
- Is fluent in product design tools (Figma)
- Can move fluidly between product, marketing, and creative, understanding the priorities, constraints, and voice of each without needing much translation
- Has a track record of shipping high-quality, on-brand work fast and independently, managing multiple concurrent requests from different stakeholders (product marketing, growth, brand, dotcom)
- Has sharp taste and an eye for polish, but treats that taste as being in service of clarity and reusability, not personal authorship
- Is a clear, proactive communicator who is comfortable managing intake from multiple teams and setting expectations on scope and timelines
Nice to have:
- Experience building or maintaining a shared asset/component library for cross-team reuse
- Experience working with financial services or other regulated-industry marketing content
- Familiarity with social-first video formats and platforms
If you're excited about this role, along with your resume, send us a portfolio or reel that shows:
- Examples of product UI you've translated into marketing/education content
- At least one motion or video piece you led end-to-end
- How you've worked across product, marketing, and creative stakeholders to ship something quickly

ABOUT VOODOO
Founded in 2013, Voodoo is a tech company that creates mobile games and apps with a mission to entertain the world. Gathering 800 employees, 7 billion downloads, and over 200 million active users, Voodoo is the #3 mobile publisher worldwide in terms of downloads after Google and Meta. Our portfolio includes chart-topping games like Mob Control and Block Jam, alongside popular apps such as BeReal and Wizz.
TEAM
The Engineering & Data team builds innovative tech products and platforms to support the impressive growth of their gaming and consumer apps which allow Voodoo to stay at the forefront of the mobile gaming industry.
The Voodoo Ad-Network is an autonomous product group of around 60 highly driven professionals with an ambitious mission: building top-tier ad network services. Our primary goal is to leverage Voodoo's massive first-party data ecosystem to optimize and scale monetization. We are in a rapid growth phase, expanding into new ventures such as opening to external inventory, penetrating the external advertiser market, and driving social network monetization following our recent acquisition of BeReal. To support this incredible trajectory and promising early results, we are scaling our team.
The Models team is a core element of the targeting performance. It leverages machine learning and a strong business understanding to directly impact the product's financial performance. It's composed of mostly senior Data Analysts, Analytics Engineers, Data Engineers and Data Scientists/ML Engineers that iterate together on finding and building the next performing iteration.
This role can be either Paris or Helsinki based and done in a hybrid setup.
ROLE
We're looking for a Senior ML Engineer to join our Models team. You will be joining a dedicated squad of Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and ML Engineers focused on building and maintaining the ML training infrastructure that powers our ad-targeting models from data preprocessing through model deployment to production monitoring.
In this role, you will be leading the following topics:
- Architectural Ownership: Take end-to-end ownership of highly visible projects from ideation to production release. This includes feature scoping, timeline estimation, architecture design, and benchmarking new technologies.
- Pipeline Engineering: Build and maintain quality data and ML pipelines to align with ever-evolving business and machine learning needs. Optimize training pipelines for performance, memory efficiency, and cost (e.g. spot instance strategies, efficient data loading, preprocessed artifact reuse).
- Data Scientists Enablement: Enable Data Scientists to iterate faster by providing reusable, well-tested pipeline components (transformers, dataloaders, training utilities) and reviewing their contributions to shared code. Extend dataset capabilities: integrating new data sources, scaling feature windows, and increasing training data volumes without breaking pipeline constraints.
- Deep Learning Development: Contribute to deep learning development: GPU workload orchestration, custom PyTorch training loops, and model architecture support.
- ML Lifecycle & Reproducibility: Maintain reproducibility and consistency across the ML lifecycle: versioned configs, experiment tracking, and online-offline consistency tooling.
- Scalability & Reliability: Collaborate with infrastructure teams on scalability — node pools, resource monitoring, CI/CD migrations. Participate in weekly rotation to triage and resolve alerts from Airflow, dbt, and related systems.
- Agile Collaboration: Thrive in a fast-paced agile environment with rapid decision-making processes. You will collaborate daily with back-end developers, data scientists, infrastructure engineers, and product managers.
- Mentorship & Team Culture: You will actively contribute to our engineering culture, share knowledge, and ensure every team member feels comfortable, supported, and empowered to grow in their role.
PROFILE
We are looking for a Senior ML Engineer who deeply understands both the ML training lifecycle and the specific challenges of putting machine learning models into production at scale.
- 5+ years minimum of experience as an ML Engineer or a similar role
- End-to-End ML Ownership: Problem framing, baselines, experimentation, deployment, and iteration
- Python Proficiency: Extensive knowledge for ML pipeline code: preprocessing, training/evaluation workflows, experiment utilities, and reproducible configs
- Training Mechanics: Comfortable implementing training mechanics where needed (custom steps/metrics, dataloading patterns, performance-conscious preprocessing), not only notebook-level prototyping
- ML Frameworks: Practical experience training and evaluating models with scikit-learn, LightGBM, PyTorch for deep learning
- Performance Optimization: Experience optimizing memory usage during data preprocessing and model training
- Experiment Management: Hyperparameter tuning, experiment tracking, and reproducible training (configs, seeds, versioning)
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Experience with Amazon Web Services. Familiarity with scalability, reliability, and security topics
- ML Production Awareness: Understanding of the challenges involved in running ML models in production (familiar with topics such as feature store, training-serving skew, etc.)
- Model Serving: Experience with model serving infrastructure (real-time or batch inference, latency/throughput optimization) is a plus
- Excellent communication skills in English

ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Solutions Marketing Manager to shape how LangChain brings its full platform to priority industries, enterprise buyers, and high-value use cases.
This role sits at the intersection of product and GTM. You’ll translate customer problems into clear solution narratives, repeatable sales plays, campaign themes, and customer-facing assets that help teams understand where LangChain fits in their AI strategy.
You’ll develop industry solutions, use case solutions, and enterprise solution stories for segments such as financial services, healthcare, life sciences, and other priority markets. You’ll work closely with sales, solutions, product, demand generation, field marketing, education, and customer teams to understand what matters in the field, turn those insights into messaging and collateral, and help create programs that support pipeline and revenue generation.
The role covers the full LangChain platform, including Observability & Evaluation, Deployment, Sandboxes, LLM Gateway, Fleet, Engine, and OSS. The goal is to explain how these products work together to help companies build, deploy, monitor, and improve agents in production.
You’ll define the problems we solve for specific audiences, package those into repeatable narratives, and help GTM teams take them to market.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
DEVELOP INDUSTRY AND USE CASE SOLUTIONS
- Build solution narratives for priority industries and enterprise use cases. Initial focus areas include financial services, healthcare, and life sciences, with room to expand based on GTM priorities.
- Translate customer problems into clear solution stories. You’ll connect LangChain’s platform capabilities to the business, operational, governance, and technical needs of specific audiences.
- Define repeatable use case messaging. You’ll identify where agents can create value across functions and industries, then turn those patterns into solution briefs, use case pages, campaign assets, sales decks, webinar narratives, and customer-facing content.
- Build a point of view on enterprise AI adoption. You’ll help explain how companies move from prototypes and isolated experiments to production deployments with the controls, visibility, and evaluation practices they need.
- Stay close to the market. You’ll synthesize customer conversations, sales feedback, competitive activity, industry trends, and product signals into sharper messaging and GTM recommendations.
SUPPORT ENTERPRISE GTM MOTIONS
- Partner with sales, solutions, field marketing, demand generation, and customer-facing teams on targeted enterprise campaigns and account motions.
- Build sales enablement for industry and enterprise conversations. This may include talk tracks, discovery questions, objection handling, use case maps, executive-ready decks, demo narratives, and competitive context.
- Turn field learnings into reusable sales plays. You’ll work with account teams to understand what resonates with buyers and turn those insights into repeatable messaging, collateral, and campaign programs.
- Create materials for complex buying committees. You’ll help LangChain speak clearly to technical buyers, AI leaders, IT and security stakeholders, business leaders, and functional teams.
- Support pipeline and revenue programs. You’ll help connect solution narratives to campaigns, events, webinars, ABM motions, field programs, and sales follow-up.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- You have 3–6+ years of experience in solutions marketing, enterprise marketing, product marketing, developer marketing, industry marketing, or a related GTM role.
- You’ve built messaging, collateral, or campaigns around technical products, AI/ML products, developer tools, B2B SaaS, infrastructure, automation, productivity tools, or platform products.
- You can turn customer problems into clear solution narratives. You know how to move from “what the product does” to “why this matters for this audience, industry, or use case.”
- You understand enterprise buying motions. You know how to create assets for complex buying committees, regulated industries, sales-led motions, and executive conversations.
- You’re comfortable with technical products. You don’t need to be an engineer, but you should be able to learn technical concepts quickly, ask good questions, and translate details into customer-facing messaging.
- You like working with sales and customer-facing teams. You’re interested in what happens in the field and know how to turn that feedback into stronger messaging and enablement.
- You’re comfortable working across many audiences, including developers, technical buyers, operators, admins, AI leaders, business stakeholders, and nontechnical end users.
- You can balance strategic thinking with execution. You can define a messaging POV, then build the deck, brief, landing page copy, or sales asset that brings it to life.
- You’re comfortable with ambiguity and iteration. The market for production-ready AI agents is still being defined, and you’re excited to ship, learn, and improve.
- You have genuine curiosity about agents, enterprise AI adoption, and how they will change how teams work.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience building industry or solutions marketing programs for financial services, healthcare, life sciences, public sector, or other regulated industries.
- Experience supporting enterprise sales teams through enablement, account-based campaigns, customer-facing storytelling, competitive support, or executive-facing collateral.
- Familiarity with the LLM, agent, or AI application development ecosystem.
- Experience with PLG motions, onboarding, activation, lifecycle marketing, or self-serve adoption.
WHY JOIN
- You’ll help build the solutions marketing motion at LangChain. There is room to shape how we define priority industries, package use cases, support enterprise campaigns, and enable the field.
- You’ll work on a category that is moving from experimentation to enterprise adoption. Companies are trying to understand where agents can create real value and how to deploy them with control.
- You’ll join a small, fast-moving team. You’ll get real scope, close access to product and GTM leaders, and the ability to ship meaningful work quickly.

An overview of this role
As a
Senior Product Manager
, you will own GitLab's Secret Detection offering and the Vulnerability Research function that produces the detection content across security products. Secret Detection is one of the highest-signal, highest-volume security capabilities on the platform. Leaked credentials are the most common initial access vector in real breaches, and as AI agents write, commit, and configure more of the software, the surface area for exposed secrets grows faster than the number of humans watching it.
You will own the full loop: detect a secret with high precision, tell the customer whether it is still live, get it revoked, and prevent the next one from ever landing. In parallel, you will own vulnerability research as a product asset rather than a back-office function. The detection rules, advisory data, and malicious package and reference intelligence your team produces are what make GitLab's security scanners worth paying for, and they need to ship on a cadence with measurable quality.
This is an outcome-owning role - you will carry adoption, retention, and revenue targets for your area and be expected to explain how your roadmap moves them.
Some examples of our projects:
Push protection and pre-receive blocking that stops a credential before it reaches a repository, without wrecking developer flow
Secret validity checking and automated revocation partnerships with major cloud and SaaS token issuers
Detection content pipelines that turn threat research into shipped rules, with precision and recall tracked per rule
Intelligence-driven detection of malicious packages, dependencies, and references entering the software supply chain
What you'll do
Own
the business outcomes for Secret Detection and Vulnerability Research, including adoption, expansion, competitive win rate, and revenue contribution. Bring a point of view on packaging and pricing, not just features.
Set
the strategy for the full secret lifecycle: prevention, detection, validation, revocation, and reporting across GitLab.com, Dedicated, and Self-Managed.
Treat
detection content as a product. Define how rules, advisories, and intelligence feeds are sourced, validated, versioned, and measured, and make quality visible to customers.
Hold
the line on detection quality. False positives are a product defect and you will own the metrics that prove precision is improving.
Work
at the level of the technology. Read the rule syntax, question the entropy heuristics, understand why a scanner missed something, and challenge engineering with informed alternatives.
Use
AI to compress the distance between question and answer. Pull your own data, prototype your own flows, synthesize research and competitive input yourself, and bring conclusions rather than requests for someone else to investigate.
Build
the case for where AI belongs in the product: triage, rule generation, remediation guidance, and reducing the human review burden per finding.
Partner
with engineering, security research, threat intelligence, Field, and GitLab's own Security team, who are one of your most demanding users.
Communicate
in writing, asynchronously, with enough precision that a distributed team can act without a meeting.
What you'll bring
Domain depth
in application security, vulnerability management, or security research. You have worked on or adjacent to scanners, detection content, threat intelligence, or SDLC security tooling and you know how these products actually get evaluated in a bake-off.
Technical credibility
sufficient to earn the respect of a security engineering team. You do not need to have written the scanner, but you should be able to reason about detection logic, data pipelines, CI integration, and the tradeoffs between coverage and noise.
Commercial reasoning.
You start from revenue mechanics, buyer motion, and competitive displacement, then work inward to product decisions. Candidates who reason only from feature lists outward are not a fit.
Evidence of using AI as a force multiplier
in your own work: research, analysis, data pulls, prototyping, drafting. Consuming a chat assistant occasionally is not the same as restructuring how you work.
Judgment under ambiguity.
You bring structured options and a recommendation instead of escalating an open question.
Bias for clarity.
You can take a noisy, technical, politically contested problem and produce one page that everyone can align on.
Bonus:
hands-on background as a developer, security engineer, red teamer, or researcher; experience with credential and token ecosystems; experience commercializing a data or intelligence asset.
About the team
This role sits in GitLab's Security product management organization, which owns application security testing, vulnerability management, supply chain security, secrets management, and AI governance. The Security Section is central to GitLab's Ultimate tier and to the shift toward consumption-based product revenue, so the work is visible to senior leadership and directly tied to company results. You will work asynchronously with engineering, design, and research counterparts across multiple regions, and with the Field teams who take this to market.

ABOUT THE TEAM
The Security team ensures that while AI moves at breakneck speed, everyone driving the racecar is wearing a seatbelt. We secure LangChain's core platform and protect AI agents from emerging threats. We work across the stack so developers can confidently ship from prototype to production without compromising on safety or privacy.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You'll be the hands-on detection and response engineer responsible for how we see, stop, and learn from threats across LangChain's production platform, cloud infrastructure, and the services that host and execute agentic workloads. You'll partner closely with Product Security to turn threat models, vulnerabilities, and incidents into telemetry, detections, and durable defenses. Your primary focus is engineering: building detection, investigation, and response systems that scale the Security team's impact beyond what manual operations allow. We are looking for engineers who think like builders, not just operators — strong software skills are a must.
This role participates in an incident on-call rotation, but its core focus is engineering systems that reduce risk, speed up investigations, and make incidents less frequent and less costly.
Location/City: San Francisco or NYC
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the detection lifecycle: Translate threat models, incidents, and attacker behavior into telemetry requirements and detections-as-code. Validate coverage, measure signal quality, tune false positives, and continuously test whether defenses work.
- Build security monitoring and telemetry: Design the telemetry pipeline end-to-end across cloud (GCP/AWS), Kubernetes, and the LangSmith/LangGraph control plane. Instrument services, define the signals that matter, and make security data reliable and useful.
- Engineer investigations and threat hunting: Build tools and workflows for proactive hunting, evidence collection, incident scoping, and containment. Turn investigation findings into new detections and lasting improvements.
- Use agents to scale the team: Build reliable internal AI agents and automation that triage alerts, enrich findings, gather evidence, scope incidents, and accelerate routine security work. Design human-in-the-loop controls and evaluations so automation is safe, observable, and trustworthy.
- Lead incident response and participate in on-call: Triage, scope, contain, and remediate security incidents, then drive postmortems that produce durable engineering changes.
- Partner with Product Security: Turn product threat models and vulnerability findings into production monitoring, and feed real-world detection and incident learnings back into secure design.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 5+ years in security engineering, with meaningful experience in detection engineering, security operations, or incident response — and the software skills to build your way out of repetitive work.
- Strong software engineering in Python or Go (TypeScript a plus). You design maintainable systems and write production code, not just one-off scripts.
- Cloud and Kubernetes detection depth: Experience with GCP or AWS logging, Kubernetes audit and runtime telemetry, workload identity, and turning raw signals into actionable detections.
- Detection and adversary expertise: The ability to model realistic attacker behavior, hunt across complex systems, test detection coverage, and distinguish meaningful signal from noise.
- Hands-on incident response: You've participated in on-call, led incidents, and written postmortems that changed how a team operates.
- Experience building reliable automation or developer-facing systems: You can design APIs and workflows, instrument what you build, evaluate quality, and operate it in production.
- A pragmatic product mindset: You can identify users and requirements, prioritize the highest-leverage problems, define success, and ship iteratively.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience building or operating AI agents for security workflows such as alert triage, investigation, evidence collection, or human-in-the-loop response.
- Proficiency using AI tooling to accelerate security investigations and engineering work.
- Understanding of AI threats, adversarial testing, and the security boundaries of LLM and agent workloads.
- Exposure to SOC 2 or ISO 27001 monitoring and evidence automation.
- Experience with infrastructure as code such as Terraform or Helm.
- Experience securing both SaaS and self-hosted or air-gapped deployments.

ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a Head of Fund Analytics & Automation who is a hands-on builder, rigorous with data, and fluent in finance conversations to join our Credit Fund team in the office of the Chief Credit Officer. The best candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and exceptionally dynamic setting and is excited to design, build, and operate the fund's entire data and automation stack end to end — and then own it as the fund goes live.
The credit fund is being built with a deliberately small team. Instead of hiring several analysts and operations staff, we want one senior technical hire who can do both: engineer the platform and sit across the table from investors and borrowers. Underwriting here is built on real payment telemetry — including Xsolla transaction data — and that data edge is the foundation of this role.
Strong SQL, Python, and production automation skills are essential, along with real experience in portfolio analytics, market risk, or credit. The ability to ship audit-grade systems and then defend the numbers in front of LPs and borrowers will be key to your success in this role. The role starts as a builder and becomes the owner-operator of the platform, with a growing seat in underwriting decisions and, as the platform and deal volume grow, scope to hire and lead a small team.
If you're passionate about applying AI-governed automation to private credit and love building the systems that let a lean team punch far above its weight, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities
First 6 months — priorities in order
- Deal pipeline live: origination intake through credit committee, with the full audit trail. - Scoring data layer: borrower financials and payment telemetry ingested, stored, and under documented data contracts. - LP / fundraising pipeline instrumented, and first investor reporting shipped.
Explicitly out of scope: legal documentation, fund administration, and accounting — these sit with external providers.
Phase 1: Build (through first close)
Deal pipeline management
- Design and run the full deal workflow: origination intake, screening, scoring, credit committee, closing.
- Implement it as governed automation (workflow orchestration such as n8n or similar, with LLM-assisted steps where they add value): every automated output validated against a defined schema, low-confidence results routed to human review, and a complete audit trail suitable for LP due diligence.
Scoring and underwriting data layer
- Build the ingestion and storage layer for borrower financials and payments telemetry (including Xsolla transaction data) — PostgreSQL or equivalent, ETL pipelines, materialized views, documented data contracts.
- Develop credit scoring and forecasting models in Python, with proper train/test discipline, leakage and PII exclusion, and ongoing monitoring for drift and degradation.
- Maintain evaluation and regression checks so model and automation quality is measured continuously, not assumed.
Fundraising / LP pipeline
- Build and operate the investor pipeline: CRM automation, conference and referral pipeline tracking, follow-up orchestration, and data room preparation and upkeep.
- Instrument the pipeline so we always know conversion rates, stage aging, and next actions per LP.
Investor and borrower dashboards
- Ship reporting for both audiences: fund-level metrics for investors, facility-level metrics for borrowers.
- Numbers must reconcile to source systems and be reproducible outside the BI tool — audit-grade, not demo-grade. Tableau / Power BI or a lightweight web dashboard, whichever fits.
Reliability, cost, and security of the stack
- Budget caps and cost monitoring on all AI-assisted automation; regression canaries before changes ship.
- Access control and data protection appropriate for fund data: deny-by-default permissions, audit logs, strict handling of LP identities, borrower financials, and deal terms.
- Documented runbooks and handover-ready documentation as part of "done" — the stack must be operable by someone other than its author.
Phase 2: Operate (post-close)
- Move into an operating role on the underwriting side: portfolio monitoring, covenant and collateral tracking, scenario and stress analysis.
- Extend the platform to other investment types and support the capital formation team with the same pipeline and reporting infrastructure.
Client and investor facing
This is not a back-office role. The person will join investor and borrower meetings, present the dashboards and the numbers behind them, and field diligence questions directly. Fluency in finance conversations is as important as engineering. The person will also respond to LP operational due diligence questionnaires on the data and automation stack.
Qualifications and Skills
Required
- 7+ years across data analytics / data engineering, including recent hands-on experience building and running production automation (not prototypes or notebooks).
- Proven production experience with LLM-based automation: schema-validated outputs, human review gates, evaluation and regression testing, cost-tiered model routing.
- Strong SQL and Python; ownership of a PostgreSQL (or similar) data platform end to end — ETL, materialized views, performance tuning, data contracts.
- Workflow orchestration experience (n8n, Airflow, or comparable).
- BI and dashboarding: Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or equivalent web dashboards; a track record of reporting that executives actually used for decisions.
- Security discipline for sensitive data: role-based access, deny-by-default policies, audit trails, PII handling.
- Finance background: degree in finance or quantitative field plus real experience in portfolio analytics, market risk, or credit — able to hold their own in an underwriting or investor conversation.
- Strong written and spoken English; comfortable presenting to senior external audiences.
Preferred
- Direct exposure to private credit, lending, or fund operations.
- Forecasting and statistical modeling track record (capacity planning, SLA/risk forecasting, or similar).
- Experience with embeddings / semantic search and multi-model AI setups.
- Web development ability (React / TypeScript or similar) for internal tools and dashboards.
- Experience in audited or regulated environments (SOC 2, fund audits, or equivalent).
