About Nebius:
Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure.
Built by engineers, for engineers. From large-scale GPU orchestration to inference optimization, we own the hard problems across compute, storage, networking and applied AI.
Listed on Nasdaq (NBIS) and headquartered in Amsterdam, we have a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, the UK, North America and Israel. Our team of 1,500+ includes hundreds of engineers with deep expertise across hardware, software and AI R&D.
The role
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer on the Applied AI team at Nebius Token Factory, you will own model and endpoint optimization from model artifacts through production deployment. Your work will span model internals, quantization and model compression, speculative decoding, KV-cache optimization, inference engines, serving architecture, and benchmarking to improve latency, throughput, memory efficiency, GPU utilization, and cost per token while preserving quality and reliability.
You will work with kernel and platform engineers to investigate serving problems, compare configurations, and resolve performance and quality regressions. You will evaluate model- and engine-level optimizations together with distributed inference designs, including request routing, scheduling, prefill/decode coordination, and multi-node GPU execution. Your improvements will be validated through reproducible benchmarks and safe production rollouts under real-world workloads.
Your responsibilities
Own optimization projects for specific model families, customer endpoints, or serving backends.
Compare inference engines and recommend serving configurations suited to individual workloads.
Diagnose model-quality and performance regressions during production rollouts.
Improve LLM and VLM endpoint latency, throughput, memory efficiency, GPU utilization, quality, and cost per token.
Deploy, configure, benchmark, and extend engines such as vLLM, SGLang, TensorRT-LLM, Triton Inference Server, and NVIDIA Dynamo.
Develop production model-compression workflows covering quantization, quantization-aware training, distillation, low-bit serving, and accuracy recovery.
Implement or integrate speculative decoding, draft-model approaches, KV-cache optimization, prefix caching, chunked prefill, continuous batching, and disaggregated prefill/decode serving. For prefill–decode disaggregation (PDD), evaluate KV-cache transfer, worker placement, and capacity balancing to determine which workloads benefit from the architecture.
Design and improve LLM request routers and scheduling policies that balance worker utilization, queueing, request characteristics, and KV-cache locality while meeting latency and reliability targets.
Scale dense and mixture-of-experts inference across multiple GPU nodes. Select and tune tensor, pipeline, data, and expert parallelism—including wide expert parallelism (WideEP)—with attention to hardware topology, expert load balance, and communication overhead.
Build reproducible benchmark harnesses measuring TTFT, TPOT, tokens per second per GPU, p95/p99 latency, GPU memory, reliability, and cost per token. Validate architecture choices under representative traffic and consistent GPU budgets.
Collaborate with GPU kernel and platform engineers to trace bottlenecks across model code, kernels, runtime, scheduler, gateway, and cluster layers.
Produce design documents, performance reports, rollout plans, and customer-facing technical explanations.
Must-haves

What We Do:
Cybercrime is growing, and more businesses are getting hit by threats that used to target only the biggest organizations. That pushes defenders like us to operate at the highest level, and it deepens our need for good people who want to make a meaningful impact.
Founded in 2015 by former NSA cyber operators, Huntress is a remote-first team working to make enterprise-grade cybersecurity accessible to businesses of all sizes. We work closely with security teams and service providers protecting complex environments, often without the time or headcount to handle it all. That’s why we build our technology in-house and back it with a 24/7 human-led Security Operations Center (SOC). As a result, our platform is never disconnected from the experts who manage it, ensuring our customers' protection.
Huntress now secures more than 6M endpoints and 17M identities worldwide. Those numbers keep growing because more businesses rely on us to help carry the load and operate with more confidence. Every day, you can see that commitment in how we stand with our customers and how we show up for each other.
Reports to: Senior Manager, Detection Engineering & Threat Hunting
Location: Remote Australia
Compensation Range: $150,000 to $170,000 AUD base plus bonus and equity
What You’ll Do:
Members of the Huntress DE&TH team wake up every morning with the honor of impeding threat actors through a combination of detection engineering and threat hunting. This team sits alongside our 24x7 Security Operations Center, and our Adversary Tactics & Tactical Response function, and plays a pivotal role in detecting threats actors before they get a chance to impact our partner environments.
As a Senior Detection Engineering and Threat Hunting (DE&TH) Analyst you should be drawn to the hard problems: detecting stealthy intrusions, managing false positives and false negatives at scale, and uncovering clues that may expose an evolving campaign across Huntress partners. In this role you will turn threat intelligence, or a hypothesis, into detections that help the SOC find real intrusions faster. While the SOC is responding to alerts within minutes, this team is developing detections and reviewing more ambiguous signs of attacker activity on a daily & weekly basis.
On the Detection Engineering side of the role, you will play a part in designing, building, and maintaining a resilient, scalable, and high-fidelity detection portfolio that enables the SOC to rapidly identify and respond to adversary activity. This will involve working with engineering and other adjacent teams to achieve a shared goal across multiple domains which includes identities and endpoints.
On the Threat Hunting side of the role, you will get to research new attacker tradecraft, test new theories, and review hunting data at scale for millions of endpoints to proactively hunt for, and disrupt, stealthy threat actor techniques that evade initial defenses.
If you love Detection Engineering and Threat Hunting at scale, whilst in the environment and energy of a SOC, this is the role for you!
Responsibilities:
Contribute to all parts of the detection lifecycle by creating new rules, testing them before deployment, monitoring efficacy, and tuning, promoting, or retiring rules based on their performance.
Develop rules across a variety of Huntress products and operating systems such as: Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Windows, Linux, and MacOS.
Manage any DE&TH requests raised internally or escalated from our partners.
Undertake hypothesis-driven hunts across Huntress telemetry, prioritising techniques and tradecraft that may evade high-fidelity detections and initial SOC review.
Consume threat intelligence and translate IOCs, TTPs, and internal findings into new or refined detections through Git-based workflows.
Build and refine hunting dashboards or queries required to surface potential intrusions.
Review ambiguous signs of attacker activity across Huntress products, and surface likely intrusions that require deeper investigation.
Investigate or escalate likely intrusions identified to ensure partners receive clear incident reports with accurate advice.
Contribute findings to community-driven projects and create Huntress content such as blogs, social posts, videos, podcasts, and webinars.
Use AI-assisted workflows to prototype queries, enrich analysis, and develop a scaffolding for detection rules, ensuring you apply sound judgment to validate the AI output. We expect everyone at Huntress to be able to use AI as a real part of how they work, not occasionally, but genuinely embedded in core workflows.
What You Bring To The Team:
2+ years of experience in detection engineering, threat hunting, SOC, MDR, or incident response.
Intermediate knowledge of Windows internals.
Working knowledge of Linux, macOS, Microsoft 365, Azure, and Google Workspace.
Experience developing, testing, tuning, and documenting detections or analytics from threat intelligence, IOCs, hypotheses, or real-world investigations.
Ability to communicate findings through clear written reports.
Strong familiarity with detection languages such as Sigma, Suricata, Snort, or YARA, and query languages such as KQL, EQL, ES|QL, or Splunk SPL.
A sound understanding of adversary tradecraft, including techniques used for persistence, privilege escalation, defense impairment, lateral movement, discovery, and collection on a system.
A sound understanding of the roles different threat actors play and their associated goals, such as: initial access brokers, ransomware affiliates, and state-sponsored entities.
Ability to orchestrate reusable AI workflows that improve threat hunting, detection development, or analysis, and can verify AI-generated outputs before they reach production environments.
Bonus points for:
Intermediate knowledge of Linux and MacOS internals.
Hands-on experience using tools to remotely discover evidence of compromise such as OSquery, Velociraptor, and EDR/MDR/XDR platforms.
Previous use of forensic tooling such as Eric Zimmerman's EZ Tools, RegRipper, Hayabusa, or Chainsaw to analyze endpoint artifacts.
Intermediate malware analysis skills.
What We Offer:
Fully remote work
At least one annual trip to the US for Summer Summit, with additional local events in Australia!
New starter home office set up reimbursement ($800 AUD)

We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science.
We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won’t solve the world’s hardest problems – robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world.
World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached.
Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you.
*Titles posted to our careers page are updated regularly to best advertise the role and expected seniority, but internally we have a flat titling system with two types of titles: one for individual contributors and one for people managers.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Open to hiring remote — we also have offices in New York, San Francisco, Seattle, London, Paris, and Tel Aviv.
Runway is hiring a Detection & Response Engineer to own how we find and stop attacks against our infrastructure, our research environment and our products.
Securing a company that trains and serves frontier video models is a different problem from securing a typical SaaS product. The environment includes research compute, large training datasets, a fast-moving build pipeline and engineers who work inside AI-assisted tooling every day. Each of those changes what an attack looks like and what you need to see to catch it.
You'll join the Security team and build our detection and response program the way an engineer would: detections as code, response as automation, evidence as something you can query. This is a role with real ownership: you'll own the detection program end to end, from what we log to how quickly we close an incident. You'll report to the head of security, partner with engineers across platform and research, and shape how this function grows from here.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own detection and response end to end: what we log, what we alert on, how we triage and how we recover
- Write and tune detections as code across multiple cloud environments, Kubernetes, identity systems, endpoints and SaaS, and measure them on coverage and precision rather than alert volume
- Lead incident response from the first alert through containment and forensics, then write the post-incident review people actually read
- Build automation that takes toil out of triage, including enrichment, correlation, containment actions and evidence collection, and use LLM-based tooling where it holds up under audit
- Monitor AI agents and developer tooling operating inside our environment, and turn that into concrete telemetry and controls
- Partner with platform and research engineers so new systems ship with logging and response playbooks in place on day one
- Run threat hunts and tabletop exercises against the parts of the environment that worry you most, and fix what you find
- Turn incident and detection metrics into evidence for SOC 2, ISO 27001 and enterprise customer security reviews, working with our GRC team
- Participate in an on-call rotation for security incidents
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Hands-on incident response experience: you've triaged live alerts, led investigations and written up what happened afterward
- Experience building and tuning detections in a modern SIEM, ideally managed as code
- Working knowledge of how attackers move through cloud and Kubernetes environments (IAM abuse, container escape, credential theft, supply chain compromise) and what that leaves behind in logs
- Comfort writing Python, Typescript, Rust or another language to automate response work and connect security tools
- Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform and with Kubernetes at the level of audit logs, RBAC and workload identity
- Clear writing. Incident timelines, detection documentation and updates to leadership are all part of the job
- Judgment about what to alert on, what to automate and when to wake someone up
EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE
- Experience monitoring GPU or HPC-style infrastructure, or research environments with large datasets
- Experience building detections or guardrails for AI agents, LLM tooling or MCP servers
- Cloud forensics experience: disk and memory acquisition, cloud audit trail reconstruction, chain of custody
- Published open source detection content
Runway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team. Our salary ranges are based on competitive market rates for our size, stage and industry, and salary is just one part of the overall compensation package we provide.
There are many factors that go into salary determinations, including relevant experience, skill level and qualifications assessed during the interview process, and maintaining internal equity with peers on the team. The range shared below is a general expectation for the function as posted, but we are also open to considering candidates who may be more or less experienced than outlined in the job description. In this case, we will communicate any updates in the expected salary range.
Lastly, the provided range is the expected salary for candidates in the U.S. Outside of those regions, there may be a change in the range, which again, will be communicated to candidates.

What You'll Do
Design and implement features and performance improvements across the Orchestration team's services — the scheduler, execution harness, and results processing
Develop, maintain, and test high-quality, maintainable code, and optimize critical paths for performance
Write technical designs for feature-level work, actively seek feedback, and clearly explain the trade-offs of your decisions
Participate in and review technical designs and pull requests, providing constructive feedback to the team
Improve test coverage with comprehensive unit tests and refactor code to drive down tech debt
Troubleshoot and debug production issues, and follow up on incidents with post-mortems and mitigation plans
Break features into tasks, structure and execute your own project plans, and contribute to sprint and feature planning
Collaborate with product managers, QE, customer support, and peers to deliver the best product with high quality, performance, and scalability
Participate periodically in the on-call rotation, and be mindful of security throughout your work
Use AI tooling — IDE assistants like GitHub Copilot, coding agents like Claude Code, and conversational AI — to accelerate development and to author and review SDLC artifacts such as TDDs, PRDs, post-mortems, and test plans
Skills We're Looking For
5+ years of experience in the software industry with a passion for solving complex software engineering problems, including designing and building backend services and reusable components from the ground up
Experience working with distributed systems and cloud computing concepts
Demonstrated ability to write well-structured, performant, and well-tested code
Ability to independently lead feature-level software and design work that satisfies project requirements, and to clearly explain design trade-offs
Can identify design flaws in existing systems and propose improvements
Experience with code reviews, design, troubleshooting, and testing
Proficiency in a modern backend or systems language such as Python, Java, C++, or C#
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with continuous integration tooling such as BuildKite, and familiarity with observability tools like Datadog or Grafana is a plus
Fluent in using AI code assistants and coding agents to generate and investigate code, and conversational AI (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT) to research, author, review, and synthesize SDLC artifacts
Bonus Skills
Experience in data processing (ETL, ELT) and/or cloud-based data platforms
Experience building or working with metadata, catalog, lineage, or discovery/search systems
Experience with GraphQL APIs and high-throughput, multi-tenant data services
Familiarity with the analytics engineering workflow and the dbt ecosystem

Must-haves
Strong engineering skills in Python and PyTorch.
Hands-on experience deploying or optimizing LLM, VLM, or high-throughput transformer inference.
Practical knowledge of at least one modern inference stack, such as vLLM, SGLang, TensorRT-LLM, Triton Inference Server, NVIDIA Dynamo, Ray Serve, KServe, or an equivalent internal system.
A strong understanding of transformer inference bottlenecks involving KV cache, attention, memory bandwidth, batching, parallelism, and long-context serving.
Ability to quantify trade-offs among latency, throughput, quality, utilization, and cost.
Experience designing or optimizing distributed inference system architecture, with hands-on work in one or more areas such as request routing, distributed scheduling, PDD, multi-node inference, or expert parallelism.
Strong communication and collaboration skills across research, kernel, infrastructure, product, and customer teams.
Nice-to-haves
Experience with quantization-aware training, post-training quantization, FP8, INT8, INT4, NVFP4, MXFP4, AWQ, GPTQ, or SmoothQuant.
Experience with distillation, speculative decoding, EAGLE, Medusa, multi-token prediction, or related inference acceleration methods.
Experience supporting agentic workloads involving tool calling, structured outputs, streaming APIs, high concurrency, and multi-step orchestration.
Familiarity with CUDA or Triton; the role does not require kernel engineering to be the candidate’s primary specialization.
Contributions to open-source projects such as vLLM, SGLang, TensorRT-LLM, FlashInfer, LMCache, PyTorch, Triton, Ray, or KServe.
Implementation experience with cache-aware request routing, PDD, or WideEP, including diagnosing communication bottlenecks and load imbalance.

- Build scalable characterization and analysis methods using Python, MATLAB, or equivalent tools to improve test coverage, automate analysis, identify trends, and accelerate engineering learning cycles
- Partner closely with Electrical, Firmware, Mechanical, Systems, Software, and Manufacturing teams to define requirements, evaluate tradeoffs, and improve end-to-end system performance, reliability, and manufacturability
- Manage and develop a small team of electrical engineers, setting technical priorities, creating clear ownership, providing mentorship and design review, and helping engineers grow while maintaining a high bar for technical execution
- Remain hands-on with schematic and circuit design, prototype bring-up, debugging, and design iteration, directly contributing to critical design changes where needed
- Establish rigorous validation approaches and success criteria that build confidence in electrical system performance across operating conditions, unit-to-unit variation, and product use cases
- Travel up to 15% domestically and internationally to collaborate with partners, suppliers, and contract manufacturers
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience, with demonstrated technical leadership and ownership of complex electrical or embedded systems
- Deep electrical engineering fundamentals across mixed-signal circuit design, power management, digital interfaces, signal integrity, and debugging of highly integrated systems
- Exceptional hands-on test, characterization, and debugging skills, with the ability to use experimentation and data to understand complex system behavior and drive meaningful design changes
- Strong experience with schematic capture and PCB design/review using ECAD tools such as Altium or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to lead ambiguous, cross-functional technical investigations, mentor other engineers, and drive complex engineering decisions to closure
- Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.

About Wolt
At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe.
Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.
At Wolt, keeping courier supply healthy across every city we operate in is core to a great experience for both customers and couriers. As we've scaled to dozens of countries and hundreds of cities, planning & managing supply has grown from a market-by-market exercise into a global challenge: we need a system that plans well everywhere at once, from our largest metros to our smallest cities.
That's where this role comes in. As Senior Specialist, Global Market Planning, you'll help refine the models and tools at the heart of how we plan courier supply globally. You'll make sure the right supply levers are pulled in the right markets, and you'll help us learn which levers actually work. It's a role at the crossroads of data, tooling, and operations. It's for someone who is as comfortable designing a test or building a model as they are working out why a specific market is off plan and what to do about it.
You'll be part of the Global Market Planning team and will partner closely with local operations and courier marketing so that our planning always reflects the reality on the ground.
What you'll be doing
Develop the global planning model:
Help develop and refine our global supply planning model so it delivers robust coverage across both large and small cities, accounting for local context like holidays, special events, etc.
Allocate investments across markets:
Help optimize supply lever allocation, translating region and country budgets into the right mix of levers for each market.
Test and learn in markets:
Propose tests and actions within markets, in line with lever allocation, especially where we don't yet know the right answer or don't have enough data to rely on history. You'll work with local teams and analytics to shape the approach and turn what we learn into the next plan.
Build the tooling:
Develop tools that ensure the correct supply levers are being used effectively across markets to hit our targets.
Deep dive & solve:
Investigate problem areas, identify root causes, and turn your findings into corrective actions and better planning approaches.
Collaborate:
Partner with regional supply leads, local operations teams, and central teams (finance, procurement, product, analytics) on plans, performance, and improvements.
Improve how we work:
Test and prove new concepts in planning, acquisition, onboarding, and activation, and support the roll-out of global improvements across regions.
Our humble expectations
3+ years of experience in consulting, operations, analytics, or strategic business development in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and modelling skills, with a structured, pragmatic approach to solving complex problems.
Experience designing and interpreting tests or causal analyses, and good judgment about what you can and can't conclude from them in a marketplace setting.
A systems view of supply: you consider trade-offs between levers and their knock-on effects on cost, courier experience, and customer experience.
Comfort making and defending recommendations with incomplete data, and adapting your thinking when the facts change.
Proficiency in SQL, Looker, and Excel/Google Sheets modelling. Python, Cursor, and Claude Code are a plus.
An attitude for action and ownership beyond the obvious, always looking for opportunities to improve, with the determination to drive change.
The ability to work across cross-functional teams and manage relationships with stakeholders, both local and global.
A true culture champion who leads by example with collaboration, teamwork, and data-driven decision making, and who brings humility and respect to every interaction.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
Based in Berlin or Helsinki, with the ability to work in a hybrid model from our Wolt office.
