About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
As a Regional Research Economist at Anthropic, you will collaborate with governments, academia, industry, and civil society in your region to measure and understand AI’s effects on the economy and explore research-driven policy interventions. You will contribute to the development of the Anthropic Economic Index and its extension to generate regionally relevant insights, establish new methodologies to measure the usage, diffusion, and impact of AI throughout the economy, and work to broaden access to and usage of the insights generated by the Index. You will use frontier methods in econometrics, machine learning, and structural estimation. Such rigor will drive impact, shaping both policy discussions externally and informing Anthropic’s internal business and product decisions.
Our team combines rigorous empirical methods with novel measurement approaches. We’re building first-of-its-kind datasets tracking AI’s impact on labor markets, productivity, and economic transformation. Using our privacy-preserving measurement system (
Clio
), we
analyze millions of real-world AI interactions
to understand how AI augments and automates work across different occupations and tasks.
For this role, we’re looking for candidates who can combine rigorous economic analysis with novel measurement approaches to understand AI’s transformative effects on the economy. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working at the intersection of empirical economics, technological change, and policy impact.

Advance research collaborations that answer country- or regional-specific economic impact questions
Translate research insights into actionable recommendations for policy discussions
Make fundamental contributions to the development and expansion of the
Anthropic Economic Index
, including country- and regional-specific analysis
Design and collaborate on empirical research on AI’s economic effects with governments, academia, industry, and civil society in your region
Develop new methodological approaches, in collaboration with partners in your region, for studying AI’s impact on labor markets and the future of work; productivity and task transformation; economic inequality and displacement; industry-specific disruption and adaptation; and aggregate economic trajectories (GDP, productivity, unemployment) under varying AI-adoption scenarios
Work cross-functionally with other technical teams to improve our measurement infrastructure and data collection
Amplify external engagement through research publications, policy briefs, and presentations to diverse stakeholders
Minimum qualifications
PhD in Economics
Strong track record of empirical research, particularly studies combining novel data sources and economic theory or implementing frontier methods in causal inference and machine learning

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.

ABOUT BASETEN
Baseten powers mission-critical inference for the world's most dynamic AI companies, like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma, and Writer. By uniting applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and seamless developer tooling, we enable companies operating at the frontier of AI to bring cutting-edge models into production. We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F https://www.baseten.co/blog/announcing-our-series-f/, led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
AI is being built by many companies at once. Model labs train more capable models, hyperscalers provide infrastructure and distribution, developers build new AI products, and a growing set of tools gives agents more to work with. Baseten sits at the center of all of it, as the inference platform that developers and large companies use to run AI in production.
We’re hiring a backend/distributed systems engineer to join our Product Platform in following areas:
- Commercialization, billing, and partnerships
- Developer productivity and agentic development
- Observability platform
Please come join our growing team to work on exciting problems. A few sample projects and responsibilities will include
- Design and build scalable telemetry ingest and storage pipelines for metrics, logs, and traces across Baseten’s multi-cloud infrastructure
- Own and evolve core observability platforms, driving migrations and architectural improvements that improve reliability, reduce cost, and scale with organizational growth
- Build world class commercialization and billing systems
- Work on some of the most strategic and exciting partnership integrations
- Develop internal infrastructure and tooling that improves developer velocity, CI/CD, and deployment safety.
- Own the internal AI agent platform end to end — architecture, build, rollout, operation, measurement.
- Own Baseten's testing strategy end to end — define the standards, the tiers, and the tooling that engineering teams build against.
- Drive adoption through developer experience — good defaults, clear docs, low friction — not mandate.
- Improve platform reliability through better alerting, incident tooling, and production debugging workflows.
- Lead technical design for cross-team projects and make sound tradeoffs between speed, quality, and long-term maintainability.
- Partner with infrastructure, model performance, and product teams to understand what they need to see and ship faster.
- Raise the engineering bar through code review, mentorship, and clear technical writing.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience, with a focus on building scalable backend systems and platforms.
- Experience building or operating observability systems (logging, metrics, tracing) or internal infrastructure at scale.
- Proficiency in Python, Go, Rust, or a similar backend language.
- A firm grasp of quality and engineering principles: you understand both the what and the why.
- Strong systems-level thinking: you understand how the components of a distributed system interact and how data flows through each part.
- Platform mindset: you build for adoption and self-service, treat internal engineers as customers, and would rather ship a good default than write a style guide.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.
Apply now to embark on a rewarding journey in shaping the future of AI! If you are a motivated individual with a passion for machine learning and a desire to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, we would love to hear from you.
At Baseten, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, or veteran status.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable law (by example, the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, where applicable).

We're Novakid, the next-generation early English learning environment that allows kids around the world to learn English efficiently, through play and fully remote practice with certified professional teachers.
Think cutting edge technology like AI-powered games and training apps that promote English speaking and comprehension based on the use of authentic content in English language. Think certified professionals with years and decades of expertise in children's psychology and learning methods.
“Our Vision is to change the way ESL children learn English by making it more engaging, elective, fun, and accessible. The ability to master the English language from an early age is critical to achieving a path of greater success and fulfillment, socially, emotionally, academically and professionally.” – Max Azarov, Founder
About the Role
Novakid is investing heavily in its brand, and we want films that move people. We’re looking for an AI Film Director to create brand films with a movie-level finish, using the latest generative AI tools.
You’ll take each film from brief to final master: from taking the brief to storyboard, AI generation, edit, colour and finishing. You’ll work with our sound engineer on music and sound. Our video production team covers Novakid’s day-to-day content; your focus is our hero brand films, made for families around the globe (motion graphics and 3D/compositing chops are a real plus). This is a full-time, hands-on role in the Creative team, reporting to our Head of Creative.
Key Responsibilities
Direct and deliver cinematic brand films from brief to final master
Turn briefs from the Head of Creative and Brand Director into emotional, story-driven concepts that stay true to Novakid’s brand voice and visual identity
Create and own Novakid’s AI film style guide (characters, worlds, look and feel) so characters and style stay consistent from film to film
Refine AI output by hand (retouching, compositing, redrawing, colour grading) until every frame has a movie-level finish
Work with our sound engineer on music, sound design and voice-over, including localized versions for our key markets
Plan each film’s schedule and budget (tools, generation credits, freelancers when needed) and deliver on time
Keep up with AI film tools and bring in new techniques that raise quality or speed
Follow responsible AI practices with our Legal team: clear AI labelling, consent for any real person’s likeness or voice, and commercial rights to everything we publish
Strong design background alongside video production and AI prompting skills.
Can build automated content-production workflows using AI agents, APIs or workflow tools.
Own the voice acting and dubbing pipeline: work with an external casting/dubbing agency, or with per-language actor leads who source and manage further talent for their own language, to cast, record and quality-check localized voice content, attending recordings yourself to protect creative and brand quality
Explore where AI voice generation fits for the existing video editors on lower-complexity projects, and build a lightweight workflow so they can use it without pulling in the full unit
Integrate the AI Video Production Unit into the wider creative organization, with clean handoffs to the video editors team and the Lead Producer so both tracks reinforce each other instead of duplicating work
What you’ll have…
A portfolio of complete AI films, not just a showreel, with consistent characters and coherent storytelling
Proven experience directing cinematic, emotionally resonant brand or narrative films, combining traditional film craft with current, hands-on AI video experience (image-to-video, AI-assisted VFX)
Strong visual fundamentals: composition, colour, lighting and storytelling, with a design background and the eye to judge and fix AI output
Editing and finishing skills: Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve (including colour grading), plus Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects for fixes and compositing
Motion graphics and 3D/compositing skills (e.g. Cinema 4D, Maya, Nuke, After Effects) are a strong plus
Experience leading a small technical-creative team (e.g. prompt engineers, a cinematography lead, or similar hybrid creative/technical roles)
Familiarity with voice acting and dubbing production, whether managing an external casting agency or per-language talent leads
Able to deliver a film a month on your own: organised, reliable on deadlines, and comfortable setting up a process from scratch, since this is a new discipline at Novakid
Collaborative: you’ll work closely with Brand, our sound engineer and the video production team
Comfortable defining process as you go, this is a new production discipline at Novakid, not an established playbook
English fluency; other languages are a real plus given the multi-market, multi-language scope of this role
What Success Looks Like (first 6 months)
First 3 months
Your workflow from brief to final master is set up and documented
Version 1 of Novakid’s AI film style guide is in place (characters, look, reference library)
2–3 brand films delivered and approved by the Head of Creative and Brand Director
First 6 months
Minimum of one film every month, each with a movie-level finish (5–6 films delivered in total)
Characters and look stay consistent from film to film
The Head of Creative and Brand Director trusts that every film meets Novakid’s creative and brand standards without needing heavy oversight.
Every film on time and within budget, with what we learn from each film’s performance feeding into the next

An overview of this role
As a Senior Ecosystem Operations Manager at GitLab, you'll own the technology, processes, and operational infrastructure behind our channel, distribution, original equipment manufacturer (OEM), global systems integrator (GSI), and managed service provider (MSP) partnerships. You'll shape how our partners go to market, serving as the primary process owner for deal registration, partner programs, partner quote-to-cash, and partner attribution. You'll combine operational strategy with hands-on execution, using artificial intelligence (AI) to automate workflows and help ecosystem operations scale.
What you'll do
Design and govern end-to-end partner processes, including deal and referral registration, service attach, two-tier distribution, rules of engagement, and quote-to-cash. Partner with Deal Desk and Billing on resale, distribution, OEM, GSI, and MSP transaction workflows, and resolve complex registration, quoting, and billing escalations.
Own operational execution of partner tiering, onboarding, certification compliance, not-for-resale (NFR) licenses, rebates, and incentives, including eligibility tracking, approval routing, and payments.
Own and administer the partner technology ecosystem, including Impartner partner relationship management (PRM), Salesforce customer relationship management (CRM) partner objects, deal registration, and partner portals. Maintain system health and data integrity, and co-manage vendor roadmaps, renewals, and service-level accountability.
Partner with Revenue Technologies and Systems to maintain integrations across partner platforms, Salesforce, enterprise resource planning (ERP), quoting, billing, and financial systems, including partner attribution and compensation data flows. Lead prioritization and user acceptance testing (UAT) for implementations, migrations, and platform enhancements with IT and Enterprise Applications.
Own the ecosystem data model and work toward one standard partner attribution record across the customer lifecycle. Serve as a resource for Ecosystem Sales, partners, and internal teams on attribution, territory, and compensation-impacting data, and maintain reporting and dashboards as a single source of truth for partner pipeline, registration activity, and program performance.
Lead ecosystem month-end close with Deal Desk, Compensation, Accounts Receivable, and Finance, covering opportunity corrections, partner splits, territory review, and reconciliation.
Identify, build, and deploy AI agents to automate workflows such as deal registration routing, NFR provisioning, partner data quality checks, and reporting. Evaluate processes for opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve consistency, and shorten cycle times.
Maintain the authoritative ecosystem process map, runbooks, and training materials. Support tool configuration, testing, and end-user training. Own channel price files and partner quoting for product launches and stock keeping unit (SKU) changes. Coordinate improvements with operational peers, IT, Finance, Product, and Legal through GitLab Work Items.
What you'll bring
Experience in business-to-business software-as-a-service channel or partner operations, with direct ownership of ecosystem workflows and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Hands-on experience with Impartner or an equivalent PRM platform, including deal registration and partner portal administration.
Strong working knowledge of Salesforce CRM, including partner objects, opportunity management, Flow, validation rules, reports, and dashboards.
Deep familiarity with resale, two-tier distribution, deal registration, rules of engagement, partner discounting, and partner quote-to-cash, plus an understanding of OEM, GSI, and MSP transaction structures and operational requirements.
Direct experience operating partner programs, including tiering, certification compliance, rebates, and incentives, with responsibility for execution and compliance.
Experience designing and documenting complex operational processes for distributed teams, translating business needs into detailed system requirements and configuration, and leading user acceptance testing through release.
Hands-on experience using AI tools and building agents to automate operational workflows, from evaluating opportunities to delivering working solutions.
Experience resolving ambiguous operational escalations across systems, teams, and partner relationships, and aligning Deal Desk, IT, Finance, Compensation, Legal, and Sales around operational changes.
About the team
Our Ecosystem Operations team works closely with Systems, Revenue Technologies, Deal Desk, Ecosystem Programs, Enablement, Finance, Compensation, and Legal. We enable consistent execution across Ecosystem Operations Specialists and cross-functional partners. You'll also partner with the Senior Hyperscaler Operations Manager, who owns Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud operations, on shared systems, the ecosystem data model, and month-end close.

ABOUT NIANTIC SPATIAL
AI has learned from almost everything online, but it still struggles with the physical world, where 99.5% of economic activity happens. It doesn’t know where things are, how spaces fit together, or what changes over time.
That’s one of the biggest unsolved problems in AI, and it’s the one we’re solving at Niantic Spatial. We build spatial AI models and services so people and machines can reason, learn and act safely in the physical world. We turn camera imagery, video, sensor data and archives into accurate, AI-readable representations of real places that robots can train in and machines can use to know exactly where they are.
In physical AI, mistakes have real consequences. That’s why we build AI grounded in measured reality, not guesswork, so the people and machines relying on it can trust it to get things right.
Our team built some of the world’s most widely used maps. Now we’re building something bigger: a living, measured record of the real world that machines can query, learn from and use to understand how places change over time. If you want to help AI understand the world we actually live in, come build with us.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As a staff member of the Map Team, you’ll own and drive significant parts of our Reconstruction and/or Localization technologies. You will be responsible for building the Map representing a living geospatial world model that can be simultaneously used to generate a high-fidelity 3D representations via Gaussian Splatting and Meshing, as well as the centimeter-level accuracy Visual Positioning System (VPS) that allows people and robots to explore the real world.
This is an individual contributor role with a strong component of technical leadership where you will mentor other engineers and influence the technical roadmap.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Technical Leadership: Lead the design and implementation of some of our core technologies, namely, Structure from Motion (SfM), Feed Forward and Foundational models, and high-fidelity 3D Reconstruction (e.g. meshing, gaussian splats).
- Applied Research: Up to speed state-of-the-art in relevant areas to be able to invent novel solutions in VPS and/or 3D Reconstruction alongside the team.
- System Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain scalable production-grade Computer Vision systems that power Niantic Spatial’s VPS, 3D Reconstruction and 3D Mapping pipelines.
- Algorithm optimization and production implementation: develop and optimize algorithms, train models, for high-accuracy and high-performance execution on CPU/GPU on the cloud or device as part of a reliable production system.
- Quality & Benchmarking: Drive decision-making creating high quality data that allows the accurate spatial grounding of AI queries with structural, semantic and location specific knowledge.
- Technical Strategy & Mentorship: Work with engineering leadership to define the technical roadmap and quarterly objectives for the Applied CV Team; provide high-level mentorship and code governance to elevate the team’s technical bar.
- Cross-Functional Delivery: Collaborate with Product, Research, and Operations teams to ensure that state-of-the-art Computer Vision solutions translate into delightful user experiences.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Years of Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or a related field (or 4+ years with a PhD in a relevant domain).
