ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Ramp builds software that moves real money, from bill payments and corporate cards to reimbursements, accounting integrations, and travel. Our customers rely on us to keep their operations running: invoices get paid, books get closed, and finance leaders can trust the data behind every decision.
In this role, you will be the person who spots where customers are getting stuck and drives issues to a clear resolution. You will learn a complex product deeply enough to troubleshoot across payments, bank linking, accounting syncs, and card programs, then partner with teams across Engineering, Risk, Product, and Partnerships to get problems solved. This is not script-based support. You will triage, investigate, and make high-signal judgment calls throughout the day.
You will thrive in this role if you are a systems thinker and deeply customer obsessed. Support is the baseline. How you think about improving processes, tools, and outcomes is what sets you apart.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Be the voice of Ramp's Customer Support. You'll spend your day engaging with customers, primarily via live calls, email, and chat.
- Diagnose across a broad product surface. Ramp isn't one product — it's payments, cards, travel, accounting integrations, and more. You'll need to understand how they connect and where they break.
- Operate with an ownership mindset, managing escalations end-to-end. You take full accountability for every ticket you handle. When an issue crosses team boundaries — risk, engineering, product, partnerships — you route it correctly, follow up, and make sure the customer isn't left waiting. You'll work across Zendesk, internal tooling, and Slack-based escalation workflows.
- Build and shape AI tools, not just use them. Ramp is building AI into CX operations. You'll use AI-powered research tools and proprietary tools like Glass daily, provide direct feedback on what's working, and play an active role in how these tools evolve. You're not just a user — you're a builder. We are all builders at Ramp.
- Ship improvements, not just flag them. When you notice a process gap, a missing SOP, or a knowledge base article that's sending associates down the wrong path, you don't just raise it — you have the autonomy to roll up your sleeves and fix it. Leverage AI to solve problems, build automations, and improve the systems around you. The best people in this role make the whole team better.
- Communicate with precision and empathy. Our customers are financially sophisticated. You need to explain what's happening, what you're doing about it, and what they should expect — clearly and without filler.
WHAT YOU NEED
- You're a systems thinker: you don't just solve the ticket in front of you, you ask why the problem exists and how to prevent it from happening again.
- You actively use AI tools — Claude, Notion AI, research and workflow tools — and can demonstrate how you've applied them to get real work done. This is a hard requirement.
- You're fast-moving while holding yourself to a high bar for execution: you balance speed, accuracy, and thoroughness in every interaction.
- You can hold a technical conversation about how systems connect (APIs, bank integrations, accounting software) even if you're not writing code.
- You manage competing priorities without dropping things. When you have 15 open issues across 4 internal teams, nothing falls through.
- You write clearly and concisely. You can explain a payment reconciliation issue to a CFO without jargon.
- You're comfortable on the phone. Many interactions start there.
- You have a demonstrated track record of exceeding key performance standards, including CSAT, QA, and speed-of-service metrics.
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience building workflows or automations using AI tools, not just prompting
- Familiarity with accounting workflows (AP/AR, GL, reconciliation) or ERP integrations (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage)
- Background in payments infrastructure (ACH, wire transfers, card networks)
- Track record of working somewhere that shipped product fast and expected CX to keep up
WHY BE A CX ASSOCIATE AT RAMP
- Cross-functional exposure from day one. You work directly with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams — not siloed into a support queue.
- AI tools and unlimited access. Unlimited tokens, proprietary AI tools like Glass, and a culture that expects you to use them to move faster and build smarter.
- Career growth that you own. Grow within CX, explore other functions internally, or carve out a path that doesn't exist yet. If you're invested, we're invested.
- Culture that's different from a call center. Team events, in-person offsites, and a genuine commitment to building a team people want to be part of.

From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data.
Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on.
Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. This position sits at the crossroads of software engineering, platform architecture, and AI-assisted development.
As a Software Engineer, Forward Deployed, you’ll solve the hardest problems standing between Ramp and the world’s largest and most complex companies — shaping and shipping the product capabilities that unlock our growth upmarket. You'll be part of our Core FDE org, which is an agent-first, high-pace, customer-facing engineering team. On FDE, you will interact directly with customers and deliver solutions end to end — understanding pain points, shaping product decisions, and building agents that autonomously expand Ramp's capabilities.
Check out our Engineering Blog https://engineering.ramp.com/ and FDE post https://engineering.ramp.com/post/forward-deployed-engineering for more context on our work!
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Deliver software end to end that meet the needs of our largest customers — understanding user pain points, scoping product specs, and building agents that autonomously implement solutions.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Solutions, Customer Success, and Account Management to close deals, activate customers, and expand the value Ramp provides over time.
- Drive the core product engineering roadmap through our embedding model — specializing within a core product area to develop deep domain expertise and make prioritization calls on when to build a custom solution vs. accelerate a broader initiative.
WHAT YOU NEED
- 3+ years of software engineering experience preferred
- Extensive experience building with and for agents
- Track record of shipping high-quality products at scale

ABOUT BASETEN
Baseten powers mission-critical inference for the world's most dynamic AI companies, like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma, and Writer. By uniting applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and seamless developer tooling, we enable companies operating at the frontier of AI to bring cutting-edge models into production. We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F https://www.baseten.co/blog/announcing-our-series-f/, led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
As a Global Capacity Manager at Baseten, you will lead the "engine room" of the company, architecting, securing, and optimizing the global GPU fleet that powers our customers' AI workloads. You’ll own the end-to-end journey of capacity management, from securing multi-million dollar GPU clusters to building the automation that ensures 99.9% uptime across multi-cloud environments.
This role is a great fit for entrepreneurial engineers who want to bridge the gap between high-finance asset management and deep infrastructure engineering. You will act as the fleet orchestrator for the world's most advanced chips, ensuring Baseten never experiences a capacity outage while maintaining elite unit economics.
To be clear, this is a high-stakes engineering role. You will be hands-on with Kubernetes
orchestration while also leading specialized pods focused on the next generation of hardware, like NVIDIA’s Blackwell (B200) architecture.
EXAMPLE INITIATIVES
- The B200 Frontier: Architecting the infrastructure readiness and deployment strategy
for Baseten's first Blackwell GPU clusters.
Global Workload Orchestration: Building "Multi-cloud Capacity Management" systems
to move customer workloads seamlessly across regions to optimize cost and latency.
- Precision GPU Triage: Developing automated Go-based operators to identify, cordon,
and repair unhealthy H100 nodes in under an hour.
- The Supply Chain of Intelligence: Partnering with leadership to secure and reserve
dedicated capacity for Baseten’s largest enterprise customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead Specialized Pods: Act as the lead for specific GPU pods (e.g., H100 or B200),
managing the full lifecycle of acquisition, air traffic control, and maintenance for those
assets.
- Advanced Orchestration: Execute complex workload migrations and "sticky"
deployment drains, ensuring deployment scheduling rules meet strict regional and
compliance requirements.
- Build for Scalability: Design and implement the "next version" of Baseten’s capacity
management system to handle a 10x increase in GPU volume.
Financial Modeling: Leverage your understanding of unit economics to build ROI
models for GPU spend, ensuring Baseten scales profitably.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with SRE, Infra, and FDE teams to take discrete
operational tasks off their plate and verify "last mile" follow-through on infrastructure
changes.
- Incident Response: Lead capacity-crunch response by rapidly untainting and re-
coordinating workloads during high-pressure outages.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics,
or a related field
- 5+ years of professional work experience in a high-growth environment, preferably at a
hyperscaler (GCP, AWS, Azure) or a specialized GPU provider
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes, including hands-on experience with taints, cordons, node
draining, and custom operators
- Demonstrated experience with Go or Python in a production-level environment
Strong financial literacy and the ability to model complex trade-offs between capacity
reliability and cost
- High tenacity and collaborative mindset
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.
Apply now to embark on a rewarding journey in shaping the future of AI! If you are a motivated individual with a passion for machine learning and a desire to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, we would love to hear from you.
At Baseten, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Director, Product Finance and FP&A to help drive Ramp’s next phase of growth! This role spans our Product Finance and Corporate FP&A functions. You'll own two of the highest-leverage areas on the team: the unit economics and monetization strategy across every product we ship, and the financial architecture of the company—model, budget, and Board reporting. The work you do will directly shape how we price, how we allocate capital, and how we support executive decision-making through financial insights and planning.
This represents a truly unique opportunity to join one of the country’s fastest-growing startups as we scale toward a potential IPO. You’ll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Accounting, and executive leadership to drive some of Ramp’s most important financial decisions.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
PRODUCT FINANCE
- Own our unit economics models for every product line, setting financial targets and partnering cross-functionally to turn goals into reality
- Drive pricing and monetization strategy across Ramp's portfolio in partnership with Product and executive leadership
- Run strategic custom deals, structuring creative commercial arrangements that help Sales win in competitive situations
- Partner closely with Product leaders to evaluate new product investments, business cases, and long-term growth opportunities
FP&A
- Own Ramp's consolidated financial model and develop a deep understanding of the business drivers behind company performance from revenue through cash flow
- Lead headcount planning across the company, including partnering with People and GTM leadership on capacity and hiring decisions
- Lead non-payroll budgeting across the company, particularly partnering with Engineering, Procurement Ops, and executive leadership on cost strategy and vendor negotiations
- Build and oversee executive-level financial reporting, analyses, and materials that support Board and leadership decision-making
- Own FP&A's internal systems and tooling roadmap for the infrastructure that both FP&A and the broader finance org run on
WHAT YOU NEED
- 8+ years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, strategic finance, FP&A, or a related finance function, including experience at a high-growth technology company
- Experience managing, mentoring, or developing high-performing team members is a plus
- Excellent financial modeling and quantitative/data analysis skills
- Extreme attention to detail with a high regard for precision
- A "get things done" mentality—you can dissect complex problems, identify solutions, and drive them to completion with a high degree of autonomy
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial analyses clearly to cross-functional stakeholders and executives
- Proven track record of using AI and automation tools (e.g. Claude Code) to streamline financial analysis, modeling, reporting, and other finance workflows

ABOUT THE ROLE
Social at Ramp exists to make the company more visible, culturally relevant, and useful to the people we want to reach. We are looking for a highly strategic Social Media Lead to turn that ambition into an operating system.
Your central job is to build the strategy and operating system for Ramp social. You will bring a clear point of view, make the right calls about where and how Ramp shows up, and ensure our biggest moments have real distribution behind them. You will help more Ramp employees credibly tell the stories closest to their work. You may also be hands-on where it matters, but strategic leadership and operational ownership are what will define success in this role.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Set Ramp’s social strategy, raise the creative bar, and focus the calendar on fewer, more consequential moments.
- Decide when Ramp, an employee, executive, creator, customer, or partner should lead the story, then build the right distribution plan around it.
- Help more Ramplings and executives post credibly about their work, with clear guidance, coaching, and amplification.
- Build a reliable approach to community management and social support, including the right contractor bench.
- Bring together producers, influencer, Brand, Comms, Growth, Support, and visibility teams to execute the highest-priority work.
- Establish a clear scorecard and use social insights to improve the work over time.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Ramp has a clear social point of view, distinct roles for each channel, and a calendar built around high-conviction moments rather than constant posting.
- The social function is a strategic driver of visibility and demand, not an internal posting service.
- Employees and executives have an easy, trusted way to share their work, and the strongest posts receive coordinated amplification.
- Product questions and customer issues found on social are handled with dependable ownership and follow-through.
- Social has data driven goals and learnings, including reach, awareness, demand, campaign lift, and market insights.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 2+ years leading strategic social, or related marketing programs at a top-tier technology, consumer or media company.
- A demonstrated ability to build social strategy and the operating model behind it: prioritization, agency management, workflows, measurement, and executive alignment.
- Excellent editorial judgment and an instinct for what will feel credible and native on each platform, especially LinkedIn, X, Meta, YouTube, and emerging community channels.
- Comfort with performance and brand measurement, including how to distinguish correlation from impact and how to run disciplined tests.
HOW WE WORK
We make finance teams cool. That means taking ideas further, choosing fewer bets with more force, and creating work people genuinely want to talk about. We value sharp taste, clear thinking, generous collaboration, and the willingness to say no when a moment does not meet the bar.
Ramp is committed to supporting a diverse and inclusive workplace. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds.

Ramp is in a critical phase of growth. We grew immensely last year and are building out a talented business systems team to ensure we maintain this trajectory for years to come. You’ll work directly with our Sales, Account Management, Partnerships, and Product teams to execute mission-critical business systems projects across the organization. This is a key role where you will be uniquely positioned to impact the full picture of Ramp’s growth efforts through systems development.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own top of funnel GTM systems: the roadmap, the architecture decisions inside them, and their operational health
- Run HubSpot as a system rather than a tool: workflows, lists, forms, properties, lifecycle stages, campaign structure, and the permissions and naming conventions that keep it from sprawling
- Keep HubSpot and Salesforce in agreement and the lists built off them clean: field mappings, inclusion lists, sync error triage and dedupe rules, then the ICP segmentation, suppression logic, enrichment, and email validation that stand between a Growth list and a send
- Build and deploy the Salesforce automation behind it: record-triggered and screen flows, validation rules, custom objects and fields, permission sets, and approvals
- Own the path from form fill to booked meeting: capture, enrichment, dedupe, routing, sequence enrollment, and speed to lead, and hold the operational health of every hop in that chain
- Prioritize incoming requests against ROI. Make the call on what gets built, what gets deferred, and what gets declined, and show the numbers behind it
- Drive cross-functional alignment on scope, sequencing, and tradeoffs and carry it through to closure without a manager in the room
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- 5+ years in business systems, marketing operations, or revenue operations at a fast-paced company
- Deep hands-on HubSpot experience: workflows built and debugged, list, form, and property architecture you designed rather than inherited, and a clear view of how an instance degrades when nobody governs it
- Salesforce Admin certification or equivalent hands-on experience, including non-trivial flows built and debugged when they broke, and a clear view of why declarative automation goes wrong at scale
- Funnel definitions owned in practice: lead source, campaign membership, UTM capture, and the MQL to SQL handoff, with attribution reporting the business actually trusts
- A habit of framing problems rather than waiting for a spec: ambiguous requests taken on, decided, and shipped
- You get in the weeds and build: elegant and scalable solutions, with AI leaned on to automate the work wherever it holds up
- You dissect a problem, drive it to completion with little supervision, and can explain the tradeoffs to any audience
NICE TO HAVE
- Marketing systems depth beyond the CRM: paid media and ad platform integrations, lifecycle email programs, landing page and form tooling, plus deliverability and list hygiene at sending volume
- Cross-functional program management across engineering, sales and finance stakeholders
- A product mindset toward internal tooling: treating stakeholders as users, shipping in phases and measuring adoption after launch
- Snowflake, Looker or similar BI and warehouse tooling
- Working knowledge of Apex or Lightning Web Components, enough to recognize when declarative is the wrong answer
- Linear or similar project management software
