At Render, we’re building the modern cloud platform for developers creating AI-native, full-stack, multi-service applications. Our mission is to eliminate the tradeoff between the power of hyperscalers and the simplicity of developer-friendly platforms—so teams can ship fast, scale reliably, and focus on their product, not infrastructure.
Unlike complex hyperscalers or ephemeral edge/serverless solutions, Render offers a developer-first experience with persistent compute, dynamic autoscaling, built-in orchestration, and observability, allowing teams to launch, scale, and manage real-world applications without writing infrastructure code or managing servers. Whether you're building LLM-powered applications, scalable SaaS products, or async processing pipelines, Render empowers teams to move fast and scale confidently from MVP to millions of users.

What you’ll be part of
Garner is on a mission to transform the U.S. healthcare system — and we’re the only proven player doing exactly that. We partner with employers to redesign how healthcare works: applying 550+ proprietary clinical metrics across 80+ specialties to a dataset of 320M+ patients to identify the best-performing doctors, then using compelling incentives to steer members to the care that helps them get healthier, faster.
The result is a rare “win win” — better care and lower costs for both members and employers. In just five years, our work has helped over 2.5 million people access higher-quality care and saved $1B in healthcare costs. We recently raised our Series E and have doubled five years running. If you've ever wanted your work to solve a problem that touches every person in this country, this is the opportunity to do exactly that. You'd be joining a team fundamentally reimagining healthcare in the U.S. — and using AI to scale that impact further and faster than anyone else can.
About the role:
We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Senior Field Marketing Manager to join our Field Marketing team, reporting to the VP, Experiential Marketing. In this role, you will own and scale Garner's field marketing strategy across the western region of the US, designing and executing the in-person programs that build the sales pipeline and accelerate revenue with the audiences who shape where companies send their healthcare dollars: benefits consultants and brokers, HR Benefits leaders, and our strategic partners.
This is a high-ownership role for a self-starter. You will run the full program lifecycle, from strategy and sales alignment through execution and pipeline attribution, and you will be accountable for the pipeline those programs generate. Through your efforts, you will directly influence Garner's growth in priority markets and accounts, and help define a repeatable field marketing engine that scales with the company.
Where you will work:
This role is fully remote and does not require relocation to our NYC headquarters. Because of the significant travel this role requires, you must be based in the
Mountain or Pacific time zone and live near a major airport
. You should expect
up to 50% travel
to run events and programs.
What you will do:
Own the end-to-end strategy, planning, and execution of field programs across the western region of the US, including executive dinners, roundtables, workshops, conferences, and roadshows that engage benefits consultants, brokers, and HR Benefits leaders
Build and manage a regional field marketing calendar in close partnership with sales leadership and demand generation, prioritizing the markets, accounts, and formats that will most move pipeline and accelerate deals
Own pipeline targets tied to field marketing, and design pre-event, day-of, and post-event engagement strategies that maximize registration-to-attendance conversion and sales follow-through
Partner hand-in-hand with sales and BDR teams to build targeted invite lists and drive strong attendance from priority accounts and partners
Manage sponsorships, venue and vendor relationships, speakers, and third-party event investments end to end, with a bias toward efficiency and measurable outcomes
Track and report on program ROI, pipeline sourced and influenced, and engagement metrics, and bring field insights back to the broader marketing team to sharpen campaigns and messaging
Build scalable, repeatable playbooks for field programs that can be replicated across regions, segments, and partners
Bring an AI-first mindset to everything you do, using AI to build efficiency, consistency, and collaboration into how field programs are planned and run; Garner is enabling our teams on Claude Code, and you will be expected to put it to work
The ideal candidate has:
5-7 years of field marketing experience, including prior field marketing experience at a technology company, with a proven track record of driving pipeline through field programs.; you think in terms of pipeline and revenue, not just attendance (Healthcare, benefits, or HR-tech audience experience is a plus)
A highly self-directed, execution-oriented mindset; you consistently deliver quality results on complex programs, create the workflows, standards, and tools the function runs on, and move fast without waiting to be told what to do
Strong prioritization and project management skills, with the ability to optimize across speed, cost, and quality and juggle multiple programs, regions, and stakeholders at once without losing the objective
Excellent stakeholder skills; you build strong relationships and communicate concisely and compellingly, equally effective influencing sales leaders and collaborating with marketing peers, vendors, and external partners
A solid command of the data; you interpret program metrics and pipeline KPIs, extract the signal from the noise, and use it to prioritize the markets and accounts that matter most
Comfort with the event and marketing tech stack (Salesforce, HubSpot, Swoogo, or similar), and a continuous drive to improve ROI through better tools, automation, and process
Experience using AI to work smarter is strongly preferred; you look for ways to automate the repetitive, raise quality, and scale your impact, and you are eager to grow these skills with us; comfort with Claude Code specifically is a significant plus
A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback
This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company in a transformative role, helping shape the future of healthcare.

Perplexity is revolutionizing how companies get work done. We are seeking an Associate Product Marketing Manager to join our team and serve as the bridge between how our products actually work and how the world learns to use them. You will develop the deepest product understanding on the team and translate it into webinars and education materials that inspire adoption and drive growth.
If you have a passion for understanding how things work, thrive in taking something complex and making it simple, and want to build a world-class product education engine that turns new users into power users, this role is for you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Know the product cold. Develop a deeper working knowledge of our products than anyone else in marketing, using every feature the day it ships, building the workflows yourself, and staying close to the teams that built them.
- Turn complexity into clarity. Transform complex product capabilities into simple, specific, and accurate explanations, defining not just what we built, but how it works, when to use it, and why it matters.
- Teach at scale. Own product webinars end to end, from content and live demos to delivery and follow-up, spanning onboarding series, feature deep-dives, and use-case walkthroughs.
- Build the education engine. Create the product education materials our users learn from: how-to guides, demo flows, video walkthroughs, and use-case libraries that make customers materially better at their jobs.
- Obsess over the user. Maintain a sharp, real-time view of what users misunderstand and where they get stuck, ensuring our education remains grounded in how people actually use the product rather than how we assume they do.
- Measure outcomes, not just outputs. Tie webinars and education content to tangible activation, adoption, and retention, running lightweight experiments to iterate fast on format, content, and delivery.
- Get products to launch. Own and coordinate the cross-functional workstreams that take products from built to launch, keeping teams aligned on dependencies, timelines, and the work needed to bring each launch to market.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-3 years of experience in product marketing, customer education, business development, or a related role, ideally within a high-growth technology company, or work that proves the skill regardless of title.
- Proven ability to synthesize complex technical concepts into simple, specific, and provable explanations that travel across new users, power users, and admins.
- Genuine obsession with product: you explore every setting, test every new feature, and can explain what a product does better than the team that built it.
- Sharp teaching and storytelling skills grounded in data, with the ability to summarize how a feature works in a single sentence and demonstrate it live.
- High slope: you learn unfamiliar products and domains fast, and your rate of improvement is your standout trait.
- Extreme comfort delivering clarity in high-velocity, ambiguous environments.

Our platform is trusted by over 7 million developers worldwide and continues to grow rapidly. In February 2026, we raised an additional $100M in Series C financing, bringing our total funding to $260M, to accelerate our vision of making cloud infrastructure both powerful and intuitive—designed for the speed of modern AI development.
We’re a diverse and talented team that values craft, velocity, and user experience. If you’re excited to help shape the future of the intelligent cloud and empower developers everywhere, we’d love to hear from you.
APPLYING TO RENDER
We're seeking candidates who possess high integrity, humility, and an insatiable drive to learn. Through reasoned discussions and continuous feedback, we strive to improve both individually and collectively. We foster an environment of mutual trust and respect, empowering effective debate to achieve the best outcomes for our customers and team.
We especially encourage members of underrepresented groups in the tech community to apply and understand that not all successful candidates will meet each requirement listed.
Our interview process is unique to each role, and we value the candidate experience just as much as our customer experience. We hope your conversations with us reflect a thoughtful process that is illuminative, enjoyable, and respectful of your time.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Render’s mission is simple: eliminate the tedious work of building software by providing a cloud platform that just works.
We’re evolving from the go-to platform for solo developers into the backbone for fast-scaling teams. As our users’ apps grow from a single service into complex, multi-service architectures, our biggest challenge is keeping it all feeling simple. We need a Product Designer to take that "pile of parts" and turn it into a cohesive system that actually makes sense.
As a Staff IC, you'll also help raise the bar across the organization through mentorship, design leadership, and thoughtful cross-functional influence.
This is a craft-focused IC role, and it's web UI at its most demanding. You'll own the surfaces developers depend on when the clock is ticking and things are breaking. Designing for infrastructure is unique: your screens see the most traffic when the user is most stressed, and "failure" is a first-class state, not an edge case. We’re looking for someone who finds that responsibility energizing.
You’ll join a design team that takes its craft seriously, with weekly critiques and deep cross-functional collaboration. You’ll thrive here if you love untangling complex, messy problems and turning them into accessible, beautiful experiences.
YOU WILL:
- Make a multi-service system legible at a glance. Design the views that let a developer see how their services connect and depend on each other, instead of stitching the picture together one service at a time. This comprehension gap is where design can make a complicated system feel cohesive and friendly.
- Design system-level observability. Aggregated logs, metrics, deploys, and events across a whole project, filterable by environment and resource — so a developer can answer "what's going on with my system" in one place. This is high-density information design where hierarchy, scanning speed, and progressive disclosure are the whole game.
- Design deployment as a coordinated act. When an application has many services, coordination gets hard. You'll design cross-service deployment and rollback, and a preview model so shipping feels safe at any scale.
- Design and consider all product states. You'll own the "unglamorous" moments. Like build errors, failed deploys, and empty states, and turn them into helpful experiences. Since developer tools earn their reputation by how they handle problems, your focus is on guiding the user to success even when things go wrong.
- Own a first-run experience worth recommending. The path from signup to first successful deploy is where trust starts. You'll design it so that a developer's first ten minutes make them want to tell someone.
- Contribute to where the platform goes next. Alongside the shipping work, you'll bring concept explorations and a strong point of view to a design-led discovery track, shaping the platform's future through a weekly critique cadence with the rest of the team.
WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- 7+ years of relevant experience. Whether you’ve worked on developer tools, cloud infrastructure, or another complex, high-stakes product, we care more about your impact than your title.
- Exceptional taste and craft. You have an eye for detail that borders on obsessive — typography, spacing, motion, density, interaction feedback. You notice when something is 2px off and it bothers you, and you've shipped work other practitioners admire.
- Strong information architecture. You can take a tangle of objects and relationships and make it feel like one obvious thing.
- You design the whole journey, not a screen at a time. Your portfolio shows a user carried coherently across every surface a feature touches — entry point to empty state to failure to recovery — not a set of polished screens that don't add up to a system.
- Fluent in developer language. You know your way around services, CI/CD, and deployments. You don’t need to have built a cloud platform before, but you’re curious enough to get deep into the weeds of how it works.
- Respect for failure states. You believe an error message is an interface, and you design for the user having a bad day, not just the happy path.
- Systems fluency. You're comfortable working in and contributing to a design system as the product's surface area grows, extending it rather than fighting it.
- Strong product judgment under fast launch velocity. You frame problems well, prioritize ruthlessly, and know which details matter and which can wait.
- Clear, direct communication and a genuinely collaborative way of working with product and engineering partners — including sharing a problem space with another designer without needing hard fences between you.
NICE-TO-HAVES:
- Experience designing complex dashboards, monitoring tools, or console interfaces where data density and high-stakes clarity matter.
- You've been on-call, run side projects, or debugged systems in production. You don’t just design for developers; you understand their mental models and the specific frustrations they face.
- You’re as excited to design a CLI tool or shape an SDK as you are to build a web dashboard. You’re ready to explore new frontiers like agentic workflows and AI-assisted design, not just standard web UI.
- Design-engineering literacy: comfort near code, motion, or prototyping.
- Writing, talks, or side projects that demonstrate your craft and point of view.
If this role excites you but you don’t meet every single requirement, we’d still love to hear from you—your unique experience might be just what we need.
BENEFITS
- 4 weeks of paid vacation.
- 14 weeks of fully paid parental leave for all parents to bond with a newly born, adopted, or fostered child. We will also work with you to create a supportive plan of return.
- Long-term disability, life insurance, and 401K plans.
- 100% employer-paid medical coverage and 99% employer-paid dental and vision coverage for you and a dependent. FSAs and HSAs are available as well.
- Monthly lifestyle stipend for wellness, mental health and therapy, hobbies, etc.
- Monthly cell phone and internet subsidy.
- Commuter benefits for Renders in the Bay Area, and home office stipends for remote Renders.
- Continuous learning benefits & related support.

Financial Incentives (FIN) is where Garner's promise becomes real for a member: the moment they are paid back for choosing better care. Behind that simple experience sits one of the hardest problems in the company. FIN ingests claims and eligibility feeds from third-party administrators, adjudicates them against benefit rules, accumulates member benefit, and moves real funds through payments and treasury. It does this under heavy and growing load, carrying PHI and PII, at the point where high-volume data from outside partners first enters Garner. When FIN is right, members are paid accurately and on time. When it is wrong, the failure is financial and visible.
We are hiring a Director to lead FIN Engineering, accountable for the full function (ingestion, eligibility, adjudication, accumulation, and payments/treasury): its correctness, reliability, security, and the pace at which it improves. You will lead a large, multi-team function, own its multi-year roadmap, and contribute to company-wide planning. The role is hands-on-keys: you will stay close to the code, the designs, and the incidents to hold a real technical opinion, and set an engineering quality bar the rest of the department measures itself against.
You will report to the CTO and lead a group of Engineering Managers and senior individual contributors across FIN's value streams.
Where you will work:
This role will be based in our New York City office (in the Financial District). You must be willing to work in the office 3 days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
What you will do:
Own the outcomes, ingestion through payment.
Define what "correct" means for adjudication and money movement, and be accountable for adjudication accuracy, payment timeliness, ledger reconciliation, ingestion SLAs, and the roadmap that moves them.
Set the bar and the pace.
Establish the validation standards and definition of "done" the function ships against and hold the line under delivery pressure, running a performance culture on evidence: highest-value work first, manual toil automated away, engineers accountable for outcomes.
Stay close to the work.
Join the hard design reviews, read the code, dig into incidents, and hold defensible technical positions on adjudication logic, event contracts, data modeling, and money movement.
Make agent-first the default.
Make AI-native engineering how FIN works, not a side experiment: build the harnesses, validation frameworks, and Claude Skills that let squads ship faster and safer, and mature the org from assisted toward autonomous with real guardrails.
Own the technical direction.
Guide the backend toward event-contract boundaries that let teams ship independently and scale to tens of millions of claims, with the fault tolerance a pipeline that cannot drop or double-pay a claim demands, and own the security and data-integrity posture at the edge where partner data enters and funds leave: validate, quarantine, and reconcile rather than assume the inputs are clean.
Build and grow the team.
Hire, level, and develop Engineering Managers and senior ICs, own interviewer calibration, and design the org's structure and decision rights so ownership is clear.
Translate across the business.
Partner with the CTO, Product, Finance, Operations, and payment partners to turn business needs into technical plans and communicate risk and tradeoffs in terms leaders can act on.
The ideal candidate has:
10+ years building and operating high-scale, high-reliability backend systems, ideally ones that process large data volumes and/or move money.
5+ years leading engineering teams, including managing managers, in a high-accountability, high-urgency environment.
Technical credibility at scale: you can reason through a design doc, a schema, or an incident timeline and write the validation criteria that catch failure.
An opinionated point of view on agent-first / AI-native engineering: not just that teams should use AI, but how to make it the default operating model and mature it safely from assisted toward autonomous.
Experience with the demands of sensitive data (regulated PHI/PII/financial data, unvalidated third-party inputs, encryption, access, audit) and an instinct for reconciliation-first design.
Fluency in distributed systems and modern cloud: event-driven architecture, idempotency, fault tolerance, backpressure, and data consistency under load, plus AWS and API design.
An ownership mindset: you move problems to resolution without being asked and optimize relentlessly for member and business impact.
A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback
What you'll get here:
You’ll work on problems that matter, at a company working to change healthcare at scale. You’ll work at the intersection of AI and systemic healthcare reform, where the problems we solve are as interesting and compelling as the mission.
At Garner, you’ll take on real, ambitious problems with real ownership and autonomy, alongside exceptional, principles-based people who genuinely want you to win. It’s demanding by design. You’ll be challenged to stretch beyond what you thought possible and receive consistent coaching to help you grow and do the best work of your career. This isn't the right fit for everyone, and that's intentional. The people here are driven by what's at stake for real people, and that's what gives our intensity its purpose.
Technologies we use:
Python, TypeScript, React, NodeJS, Kubernetes, Istio, Postgres, ElasticSearch, NATS, AWS, Terraform
This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company in a transformative role, helping shape the future of healthcare.
Compensation Transparency:
The target salary range for this position is $395,000 - $414,000 inclusive of bonus. Individual compensation for this role will depend on various factors, including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and competitive benefits plans, including but not limited to: flexible PTO, Medical/Dental/Vision plan options, 401(k), Teladoc Health and more.
