An overview of this role
As a
Senior Product Manager
, you will own GitLab's Secret Detection offering and the Vulnerability Research function that produces the detection content across security products. Secret Detection is one of the highest-signal, highest-volume security capabilities on the platform. Leaked credentials are the most common initial access vector in real breaches, and as AI agents write, commit, and configure more of the software, the surface area for exposed secrets grows faster than the number of humans watching it.
You will own the full loop: detect a secret with high precision, tell the customer whether it is still live, get it revoked, and prevent the next one from ever landing. In parallel, you will own vulnerability research as a product asset rather than a back-office function. The detection rules, advisory data, and malicious package and reference intelligence your team produces are what make GitLab's security scanners worth paying for, and they need to ship on a cadence with measurable quality.
This is an outcome-owning role - you will carry adoption, retention, and revenue targets for your area and be expected to explain how your roadmap moves them.
Some examples of our projects:
Push protection and pre-receive blocking that stops a credential before it reaches a repository, without wrecking developer flow
Secret validity checking and automated revocation partnerships with major cloud and SaaS token issuers
Detection content pipelines that turn threat research into shipped rules, with precision and recall tracked per rule
Intelligence-driven detection of malicious packages, dependencies, and references entering the software supply chain
What you'll do
Own
the business outcomes for Secret Detection and Vulnerability Research, including adoption, expansion, competitive win rate, and revenue contribution. Bring a point of view on packaging and pricing, not just features.
Set
the strategy for the full secret lifecycle: prevention, detection, validation, revocation, and reporting across GitLab.com, Dedicated, and Self-Managed.
Treat
detection content as a product. Define how rules, advisories, and intelligence feeds are sourced, validated, versioned, and measured, and make quality visible to customers.
Hold
the line on detection quality. False positives are a product defect and you will own the metrics that prove precision is improving.
Work
at the level of the technology. Read the rule syntax, question the entropy heuristics, understand why a scanner missed something, and challenge engineering with informed alternatives.
Use
AI to compress the distance between question and answer. Pull your own data, prototype your own flows, synthesize research and competitive input yourself, and bring conclusions rather than requests for someone else to investigate.
Build
the case for where AI belongs in the product: triage, rule generation, remediation guidance, and reducing the human review burden per finding.
Partner
with engineering, security research, threat intelligence, Field, and GitLab's own Security team, who are one of your most demanding users.
Communicate
in writing, asynchronously, with enough precision that a distributed team can act without a meeting.
What you'll bring
Domain depth
in application security, vulnerability management, or security research. You have worked on or adjacent to scanners, detection content, threat intelligence, or SDLC security tooling and you know how these products actually get evaluated in a bake-off.
Technical credibility
sufficient to earn the respect of a security engineering team. You do not need to have written the scanner, but you should be able to reason about detection logic, data pipelines, CI integration, and the tradeoffs between coverage and noise.
Commercial reasoning.
You start from revenue mechanics, buyer motion, and competitive displacement, then work inward to product decisions. Candidates who reason only from feature lists outward are not a fit.
Evidence of using AI as a force multiplier
in your own work: research, analysis, data pulls, prototyping, drafting. Consuming a chat assistant occasionally is not the same as restructuring how you work.
Judgment under ambiguity.
You bring structured options and a recommendation instead of escalating an open question.
Bias for clarity.
You can take a noisy, technical, politically contested problem and produce one page that everyone can align on.
Bonus:
hands-on background as a developer, security engineer, red teamer, or researcher; experience with credential and token ecosystems; experience commercializing a data or intelligence asset.
About the team
This role sits in GitLab's Security product management organization, which owns application security testing, vulnerability management, supply chain security, secrets management, and AI governance. The Security Section is central to GitLab's Ultimate tier and to the shift toward consumption-based product revenue, so the work is visible to senior leadership and directly tied to company results. You will work asynchronously with engineering, design, and research counterparts across multiple regions, and with the Field teams who take this to market.

GiveWell’s mission is to help people in need as much as we can by researching the most cost‑effective ways to save and improve lives, sharing our work openly, and directing donations to the programs we believe will do the most good. Our work, which focuses on global health and well-being, is funded by tens of thousands of donors who rely on our research to inform their giving. We’ve grown from directing $1.5 million in 2010 to directing more than $400 million in 2025. We anticipate our total grantmaking is likely to approach or even exceed $1 billion this year, and we are working toward a future that could be several times that scale. Through years of deliberate groundwork, we’ve been growing our research capacity and scope in order to direct substantially more funding to the most impactful opportunities we can find.
Summary
GiveWell is seeking a Cause Prioritization Lead to own and improve our cause prioritization process, develop a portfolio of early-stage grants across emerging cause areas, and rapidly respond to promising new opportunities that are unusual for GiveWell, do not fit with our existing grantmaking teams and may require innovative approaches to investigation.
As part of our lean research team, you will have an outsized influence on our funding decisions and help us save and improve lives on a global scale. You’ll create and lead ambitious research agendas, answer complex questions, and inform high-impact grantmaking decisions by combining rigorous evidence review, cost-effectiveness modeling, and thoughtful judgment.
The Cause Prioritization lead will join GiveWell at Senior Program Officer level. You will build a sub-team within the New Areas team and will report to our New Areas team lead.
The role
As Cause Prioritization Lead, you will be an intellectual leader of GiveWell’s work in new domains. In this role, you will build and lead a new sub-team within GiveWell's New Areas team. You will be responsible for:
Improving our cause prioritization process to identify promising emerging areas for grantmaking; ensuring that process combines evidence, cost-effectiveness modelling and our own judgement, and is continuously responsive to new information and external feedback.
Overseeing a portfolio of grant investigations and grant management in each of the highest priority emerging cause areas, and starting to build a research agenda including identifying ways to learn about key uncertainties through the initial grants that we make.
Communicating externally about our work and building a network of people across implementers, funders, and academia whose expertise span a broad range of cause areas, to help source new ideas.
Managing a team to execute these goals, and supporting the professional development of other team members. Creating a culture that is agile and willing to respond to new and unusual opportunities.
Directly investigating more complicated grantmaking opportunities yourself. This could include investigating types of programs that are newer to GiveWell; for example, programs earlier in the product development cycle or programs to support government prioritization and planning.
In the course of your work, you might approach questions like these:
How can we source new grantmaking opportunities in fields in which we don't have an established presence, and how can we make sure we hear from a range of implementers, not just those we've worked with before?
How much uncertainty are we willing to accept before making a grant, which questions do we need to answer before making a grant, and which ones can we deprioritize or answer later?
What research we can fund today that could substantially impact our grantmaking five years from now?
How should we balance exploring and seeding new, smaller opportunities with funding cost-effective opportunities at scale today?
How can we ensure that we identify new funding gaps opened up by changes in other donors' priorities?
How can we triangulate empirical evidence against expert opinion on other qualitative features, like organizational track record?
How can we estimate the probability that a new health commodity comes to market in low and middle income countries, and on what timeline, at what scale?
How can we model the cost-effectiveness of a horizontal program which has benefits across a diffuse set of health outcomes?
Team structure
Our research department is currently organized into eight teams:
Five of the teams (Water, Livelihoods, Nutrition, Malaria, and Vaccines) focus on specific areas of grantmaking.
The Cross-Cutting team focuses on methodological issues, research quality, and other big-picture concerns that cut across all of our research work.
The Commons team provides generalized research support to each of the other teams, including landscaping research, vetting, and publishing.
The New Areas team focuses on interventions in domains that are new to GiveWell.
The New Areas team is currently a 9-person team within an overall research department of ~80 people, and focuses on interventions in domains that are new to GiveWell. Our work is divided into three main workstreams. Grantmaking in emerging cause areas, as well as the process for and identification of new cause areas for that portfolio, would be the primary responsibility of the Cause Prioritization Lead.
Core cause areas:
this is the set of cause areas for which the New Areas team devotes a significant amount of time developing subject-matter specific expertise and networks, a thorough research agenda, and a relatively large portfolio of grants across a mix of implementers and interventions. This portfolio currently includes our work on maternal and newborn health, family planning, tuberculosis, HIV and medical oxygen.
Emerging cause areas:
this is a broader set of cause areas for which the New Areas team is starting to build its expertise, networks and research agenda, and is making some initial grants. As our work in these areas becomes more mature, they could graduate to become a core cause area. In addition to new cause areas, this portfolio may include work on types of intervention that are new to GiveWell which could have applications across our teams: recent examples include market shaping, health systems strengthening and applications of AI to global health.
Incubators:
we support other organisations to identify potentially cost-effective interventions and create programs that we would be excited to support in the future (e.g., the
Clinton Health Access Initiative’s Incubator
). For example, we funded a program to provide diarrhea treatment to children in Nigeria that we co-designed with CHAI through the Incubator program. Some of this work could fall under the remit of the Cause Prioritization Lead where it overlaps with our emerging cause areas.
Team values
We think our research team has unique qualities:
We care deeply about finding and sharing truth.
Truth-seeking is one of our
core values
. We post
our mistakes
and we prize our team members who keep our culture of free-flowing feedback strong.
We are independent.
We focus 100% on finding the most cost-effective opportunities to save and improve lives. Our researchers assist in communicating our research findings to the public and our donors, and on occasion we provide tailored advice to ultra-high-net-worth donors who want to rely on our expertise to direct their giving—but we never ask our researchers to trade off against honesty, or to hide their real beliefs.
We don’t waste time.
Once it’s clear that a particular research question is unlikely to change our bottom-line funding recommendation, we drop it as quickly as possible. We encourage our research staff to constantly re-evaluate their portfolios and only work on the highest-priority questions.
Lean research team = huge personal impact.
In 2026,
our research team of ~80 people is directing close to 1 billion dollars and we expect grantmaking dollars per research team member to increase in the future.
We work well together.
Our research team is lean because we’re able to attract top-tier people, all of whom complete skills-based assessments before joining our staff. We maintain a high-performing, collegial culture and pay our staff accordingly.
About you
The Cause Prioritization lead must have quantitatively-oriented advanced degrees and substantial relevant experience using empirical tools to make rigorous, evidence-based decisions in the real world. Practically, our senior research staff typically has 5-10 years of post-grad work experience prior to joining GiveWell. We're happy to consider applicants who do not have advanced degrees, but we'll look for a commensurate amount of relevant experience. You can review our staff bios
here
for more practical insight on the backgrounds and experience of our current team.
We expect that people with the soft qualities below will be the most successful and happy on our team. This isn’t a full list, but hopefully it conveys the gist of our team’s professional personality:
GiveWell’s mission and methods are personally energizing—you like our approach to research and you find personal meaning in our story of impact.
You’re unusually curious—you ask lots of questions, and you're willing to interrogate others' work. Your curiosity also extends to your own work, and you aren’t defensive when your research comes under scrutiny.
You're a generalist and agile —you are able to get up to speed quickly on new topics and you feel comfortable task-switching. You are comfortable pivoting your focus as we learn new information, and are continuously reassessing promisingness.
You're a strong strategic thinker. You find ways to impose structure on a broad and undefined problem (e.g., how should your team prioritise work across a huge range of potential cause areas), you can develop and articulate a vision to your team, and build processes to execute that vision.
You're excited by people management. You take other team members' professional development seriously, and can provide a supportive environment whilst also delivering constructive feedback.
You're able to quickly hone in on the crux of the argument when assessing other people's work, probing on the most decision-relevant assumptions even in fields where you have limited contextual knowledge.
You're entrepreneurial. When you see a gap, you want to fill it, whether that's designing a new program, finding an implementer, or setting up a new kind of funding mechanism. You make bets under uncertainty.
You routinely think about and surface the value judgments, background knowledge, and strategic commitments that underlie your work. You understand the potential effects of mistaken mental models, so you strive to improve yours and your team’s.
You dislike it when people express strong confidence in views that don’t seem to rely on commensurate evidence. You carefully and legibly communicate about your confidence levels.
You appreciate the value of an excellent reputation and strong relationships. You can moderate your directness and intensity when you’re communicating with external folks.
You love a
gnarly problem
. You figure out the most important questions to answer, go deep on the details where they matter (and move on where they don’t), and reassess your mental models based on what you’ve learned.

About GiveWell
GiveWell is dedicated to finding and evaluating highly cost-effective global health and development opportunities, and we publish all the work, reasoning, and uncertainties behind our funding decisions. Our
giving funds
enable donors to contribute to the most impactful and cost-effective programs our researchers identify.
GiveWell is one of the world’s largest private funders of global development efforts. Trusted annually by tens of thousands of donors, GiveWell searches for highly cost-effective programs that save or improve lives the most. Since 2007, more than 150,000 donors have given over $2.6 billion through GiveWell to the most promising programs its research has identified, which we estimate will save more than
340,000 lives
.
GiveWell is most well-known for recommending a small number of
Top Charities
, which currently support
seasonal malaria chemoprevention
,
insecticide-treated nets
,
vaccine incentivization
, and
vitamin A supplementation
. However, most of our research capacity and grantmaking is devoted to
cost-effective opportunities outside of those programs
.
GiveWell
grants
have:
Helped governments
navigate changes to the funding landscape
and implement high-impact health programs, like
HIV/syphilis screening and treatment
for pregnant people in Zambia and Cameroon.
Sought to scope and scale promising interventions that don’t have clear existing implementers. We are supporting the
Clinton Health Access Initiative’s Incubator
to identify potentially cost-effective interventions and create programs that we would be excited to support in the future. For example, we
funded a program
to prevent tuberculosis among young children in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, India, that we co-designed with CHAI through the Incubator program.
Provided funding to ensure that programs that recently faced foreign aid funding cuts could continue, like
healthcare support and malnutrition treatment
in northern Cameroon.
Funded program delivery alongside strengthened monitoring and evaluation, as in our grants to support
treatment of clubfoot
and to
evaluate the program
.
Tested our
assumptions and refined our understanding
through further research and data collection, including
improved estimates of disease burden
and studies on
the effect of water chlorination on mortality
and
the impact of a tree-planting program on farmers’ income
.
We make our reasoning public and transparent so others can challenge it (sometimes we even
pay people to point out our errors
). We go to unusual lengths to check our assumptions and assess our impact, including
funding research
to address our uncertainties and gathering
independent monitoring and evaluation data
about the programs we support. We
change
our minds when the evidence demands it. For more about GiveWell, listen to Ezra Klein’s

At Foxelli, we’re building more than e-commerce brands - we’re building a tribe of thoughtful humans: AI enthusiasts, curious builders, and ambitious minds who care about doing meaningful work together. Ten years in, our D2C brands reach millions and generate over $20M annually. Our focus stays simple: create products customers love and a team that actually enjoys building them.
If you love to learn, experiment, think boldly, make decisions, and build things that matter - you’ll feel at home with us.
WHY JOIN FOXELLI?
Foxelli is a place for people who think deeply, learn quickly, automate repetitive work, enjoy spending time together, and build things that matter. We work hard, joke often, and don’t take ourselves too seriously.
If you’re excited about AI, eager to learn, and want to create work that genuinely means something with people who care, you’ll feel right at home with us - no matter where you are in your career.
THE ROLE
We're looking for a Churn Specialist for our craft subscription box brands to help us get closer to our customers - understand what they actually need, spot where we're falling short, and find ways to retain them.
You'll work across multiple Foxelli Group brands, investigate the full customer lifecycle, and turn data into initiatives that actually move the needle on retention.
You won't just track churn numbers. You'll own the thinking behind what is happening with the brand and drive the ideas to help retain our customers.
If you love:
- getting into customer data and finding the story behind the numbers
- mapping out a customer journey and spotting where things go wrong
- testing ideas - onboarding tweaks, lifecycle flows, CRO experiments, win-back sequences, etc
- using AI and automations to move faster and do more with less
- understanding what makes customers stay (or leave) on a psychological level
- working across multiple products and brands without losing focus
- working with crafts like knitting, crochet, and quilting
And if you're someone who can take a messy churn problem, break it down into clear hypotheses, and see them through to results…
…you might be our person 👀
🚀 WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Churn Analysis & Research
- Analyse churn patterns across multiple Foxelli brands - when customers drop, which segments are most at risk, and what's driving it
- Research competitors and benchmark what best-in-class retention looks like in our space
- Use AI tools to accelerate research, surface insights, and identify patterns
- Build a clear picture of our customers - their motivations, frustrations, and what "good enough to stay" actually means to them
Customer Journey & Onboarding
- Audit the full customer lifecycle with a churn lens - from first-touch onboarding to long-term engagement
- Identify drop-off moments and experience gaps that are costing us customers
- Own initiatives to improve onboarding flows and early-stage activation
Retention Initiatives & Experimentation
- Develop hypotheses and run experiments - lifecycle communications, CRO tests, loyalty mechanics, win-back campaigns, cancellation flows
- Build and maintain automations that support retention at scale - triggered flows, at-risk alerts, personalised sequences
- Use AI to generate ideas, draft copy, simulate scenarios, and iterate faster
- Track the impact of every initiative and iterate based on results
- Document what worked, what didn't, and why
AI & Automations
- Build and maintain automations that support retention initiatives at scale
- Proactively explore how AI can improve the way we understand and respond to churn
- Stay current with new tools and bring ideas to the table before anyone asks
WHAT YOU BRING
- At least 2 years of experience of direct experience fixing actual churn for a physical product
- Proven experience diagnosing churn, not just reporting on it, but getting to the root of it
- Comfortable working with data: cohort analysis, funnel metrics, A/B test results
- Hands-on experience with customer journey mapping, onboarding optimisation, or CRO
- Experience building automations: triggered flows, lifecycle sequences, or similar
- Able to turn messy data into a clear point of view and present it to senior stakeholders
- Has worked across multiple products or brands
- Uses AI tools beyond basic prompts and actively looks for ways to automate and improve workflows

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Xsolla is seeking a Head of Fund Operations to stand up and run the operating machinery of the Xsolla Credit Fund. You have taken a private fund from formation through first close before, and you know the full stack: structure and LPA work with counsel, service-provider selection, LP onboarding, capital calls, valuation policy, reporting, and audit readiness.
This is a builder's mandate. You will design the fund's operating playbook, run it, and document it so the fund operates to institutional standards from day one — and mentor the junior operations hires who join as the fund scales.
The role reports directly to Stan Rudoi, Chief Credit Officer and Head of the Xsolla Credit Fund.
ABOUT US
Xsolla is a global commerce company with robust tools and services to help developers solve the inherent challenges of the video game industry. From indie to AAA, companies partner with Xsolla to help them fund, distribute, market, and monetize their games. Grounded in the belief in the future of video games, Xsolla is resolute in the mission to bring opportunities together, and continually make new resources available to creators. Headquartered and incorporated in Los Angeles, California, Xsolla operates as the merchant of record and has helped over 1,500+ game developers to reach more players and grow their businesses around the world. With more paths to profits and ways to win, developers have all the things needed to enjoy the game.
Beyond its core commerce platform, Xsolla is building a private credit fund that lends to video game studios, underwritten with a data advantage no traditional lender has: Xsolla's own payments telemetry across thousands of games. The fund is in its capital formation phase and is led by Stan Rudoi, Chief Credit Officer. This is a ground-floor opportunity to help raise a first-time fund inside a profitable, global gaming-commerce company, alongside the broader Xsolla capital markets ecosystem (Xsolla Funding Club, Xsolla SPAC 1 — Nasdaq: XSLLU, and other strategic vehicles).
For more information, visit xsolla.com.
Responsibilities
Fund Formation and Structuring
Drive fund formation
with external fund counsel: vehicle and jurisdiction selection, LPA and side letters, GP and management company setup, and the regulatory perimeter.
Own the LPA from the operator's seat:
terms, economics, and governance mechanics — and translate them into operational reality once signed.
Service Provider Stack
Select and manage the provider stack:
fund administrator, auditor, tax advisors, banking/custody, and compliance vendors — and manage them to institutional standards.
Own provider economics:
negotiate scopes and fees; keep the fund's operating cost model lean and LP-defensible.
Fund Operations
Run the core machinery:
capital calls and distributions, LP onboarding and KYC/AML, expense management, and cash movement controls.
Own valuation and NAV:
valuation policy, NAV oversight with the administrator, and credit-fund specifics such as borrowing-base mechanics and leverage facility administration.
LP Reporting and Diligence Readiness
Build the reporting stack:
quarterly reporting (ILPA-aligned), capital account statements, and LP communications infrastructure.
Keep the fund diligence-ready:
DDQ responses, operational due-diligence readiness, and the operations sections of the data room — before LPs ask.
Compliance and Governance
Establish the policy framework:
valuation, allocation, conflicts, and ESG/AML policies; regulatory filings with counsel; audit coordination.
Design for scrutiny:
so every process has a documented owner, control, and audit trail that stands up to institutional operational due diligence.
Operating Playbook and Team Building
Codify the fund's operating playbook:
documented processes, controls, and owners for every core workflow — built for operational due diligence from day one.
Scale the function:
as the fund scales, build out and mentor the junior operations team (controller, fund accountants) and integrate with Xsolla's finance and legal teams.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience
7+ years in fund operations, fund CFO, or fund controllership roles at private credit or other private capital funds.
You have taken at least one private fund from formation through first close — this is the core requirement. You know what breaks, in what order, and how to prevent it.
Deep working knowledge of LPA terms, fund administration, capital call mechanics, and ILPA reporting standards.
Credit-fund specifics — leverage facilities, borrowing bases, loan administration, asset-level reporting — are a strong plus.
Skills and Competencies
Hands-on operator: comfortable being the entire operations function on day one, with providers as your leverage.
Rigorous documentation and controls discipline; you build processes that pass operational due diligence, not just processes that work.
Strong commercial judgment on provider selection, fee negotiation, and build-vs-outsource decisions.
Clear communicator who can explain fund mechanics to non-fund people — including investors, borrowers, and Xsolla leadership.
Education and Credentials
A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; CPA, a CFA charter, or an MBA is preferred.
Benefits
We are passionate about fostering a supportive environment for our team, so we prioritize the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our employees and their families through a comprehensive Benefits Program. ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Xsolla is seeking a Head of Investor Relations for the Xsolla Credit Fund, whose primary mandate is LP capital raising. While Xsolla's Capital Markets team covers investor relations across all of the company's strategic vehicles, this role is dedicated to the credit fund. Over time the role will also support fundraising for other Xsolla investment products, but the credit fund remains the primary focus. This is a relationship-led role. We are looking for someone who brings an established network of LP relationships — family offices, credit and alternatives allocators, funds of funds, and institutions — and who can open doors, engage principals, and personally steward investors from first conversation through diligence to commitment.

Responsibilities
LP Relationships and Origination
Bring and grow the network:
activate your existing LP relationships and originate new ones across family offices, credit and alternatives allocators, funds of funds, and institutions.
Engage principals:
represent the fund credibly with decision-makers and investment committees, and match opportunities to each investor's mandate and ticket size.
Source and qualify the wider funnel:
from conferences, investor databases, introductions, Xsolla contacts, and external research — qualified and prioritized by mandate fit.
Steward each relationship
through diligence, negotiation, and commitment — and after the close, as the foundation of the fund's long-term LP base.
Follow-Through and Pipeline Discipline
Drive follow-through
from first contact to meeting, diligence, soft interest, and closed commitment — no lead goes stale.
Prepare and send investor outreach and follow-ups;
capture meeting notes, next steps, and commitment tracking after every interaction.
Maintain clean CRM reporting:
pipeline status, activity, outcomes, blockers, priorities, and weekly progress — so leadership always knows conversion rates, stage aging, and next actions per LP.
Provide regular internal fund progress reporting
to Xsolla leadership via Slack and other internal tools. A junior IR hire will take on pipeline operations as the raise scales.
Fundraising Materials and Messaging
Support and continuously improve investor materials:
pitch deck, FAQs, data room, and meeting-specific talking points.
Refine LP messaging, fund thesis, objection handling, and investor segmentation
based on live market feedback.
Write concise, institutional-quality
investor emails, follow-ups, and presentation language.
Diligence and Fund Setup Support
Coordinate LP diligence requests
across internal Xsolla teams, external advisors, legal, finance, and leadership.
Support fund setup workstreams:
data room preparation and upkeep, reporting readiness, and document management.
Collect and synthesize investor feedback
on fund terms, structure, risk-return profile, reporting, and allocation preferences to inform fund design.
Cross-Product Fundraising Support
As capacity allows,
extend the same funnel discipline and materials support to other Xsolla investment products and strategic vehicles, in coordination with the Capital Markets team.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience
7+ years in investor relations, placement, private funds, investment banking, private credit, venture capital, private equity, family office, or institutional fundraising.
An established, referenceable network of LP relationships — family offices, credit and alternatives allocators, funds of funds, or institutions — that you can activate for a first-time fund. This is the core requirement for the role.
A track record of raising institutional capital, with a strong understanding of LP fundraising mechanics: fund materials, diligence processes, investor segmentation, and the private fund lifecycle.
Direct exposure to private credit or first-time fund raises is a strong plus.
Skills and Competencies
Excellent business English; able to write concise investor emails, follow-ups, FAQs, and presentation language without supervision.
Strong Excel / Google Sheets, CRM, tracking, reporting, and project management discipline.
Commercial, structured, responsive, and able to manage many parallel investor conversations without dropping threads.
The gravitas and credibility to engage principals, investment committees, and senior allocators as a peer.
Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive fund and investor information.
Interest in gaming, fintech, private credit, alternative investments, or digital platforms preferred.
Education and Credentials
A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field is preferred.
CFA / CAIA or relevant securities licenses are viewed favorably but not required.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Claude serves millions of individual users alongside enterprise clients. Safeguards Engineering develops the foundational infrastructure that ensures its safe use: robust access controls, active abuse detection, real-time probes and classifiers within the inference pipeline, offline monitoring for review, and the underlying systems powering it all. Operating at scale and velocity, we continuously adapt to technology whose capabilities and risks evolve weekly.
The Safeguards Data team owns the data lifecycle for Safeguards—routing user data and safety metadata from online systems into offline storage and enabling access for downstream teams. Our goal is to provide privacy-safe access to sensitive data for approved uses while ensuring performance, reliability, and minimal blast radius. We prioritize security by design, embedding controls directly into systems operating across AWS, GCP, Azure, and customer-managed environments.
This is a systems engineering position within a small, newly established team. Rather than managing an existing backlog, you will have the autonomy to own a problem domain, establish its technical vision, and shape the team's trajectory.
Key responsibilities
Design, build, and operate the stores, pipelines, schemas, and APIs that Safeguards' detection, evaluation, investigation, and review systems read from.
Build privacy-safe interfaces that allow ML training, evaluation, and investigation workflows to utilize sensitive data without requiring broad access to raw records, ensuring access is tied to purpose and built-in lineage.
Scale the distributed storage, ingestion, and processing systems operated by Safeguards, maintaining cost efficiency, reliability, and portability across deployment environments.
Collaborate with investigators, researchers, legal, privacy, and security teams to translate operational requirements into functional mechanisms and systems for safe data utilization.
Uphold a high operational bar by participating in the on-call rotation, leading incident reviews, and continuously reducing manual operational overhead.
Lead through technical design by authoring foundational proposals and conducting cross-team architectural reviews.
Minimum qualifications
Have strong systems fundamentals (processes, threads, RPC, storage, and how systems fail) and have built and operated large-scale, fault-tolerant distributed systems
Have built and operated systems that handle sensitive or high-value data, with access, privacy, retention and security controls designed in from the start
Have a track record of building platforms or internal tooling that other teams widely adopt
Have led the technical design of projects that span several engineers or teams
Learn quickly and adapt: you're comfortable with ambiguity, a fast pace, and systems or languages you haven't used before
Care about the impact of your work and about making AI safe, use good judgment about what matters most, and can explain technical trade-offs to non-technical partners
Preferred qualifications
Proficiency in one or more systems languages (e.g., C, C++, Rust, Go)
8+ years of experience as a software engineer, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or comparable professional experience
Experience building data infrastructure for ML: training datasets, offline batch inference or evaluation
Experience with data governance requirements in a regulated or high-sensitivity domain
Fluency with agentic coding tools such as Claude Code
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$320,000
—
$485,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Our Ethos
We believe in an open and flat structure. You will be able to grow into the role that most aligns with your goals. Our team members at all levels have the freedom to explore ideas and impact the roadmap and vision of our company.
About the Team
Product Marketing sits within Rain's Marketing & Communications team and owns how we bring Rain's card issuing and stablecoin infrastructure to market. The Cards product pillar is our longest-standing product, and includes stablecoin cards that work across the Visa and Mastercard networks, onchain rewards infrastructure that drives loyalty, and thoughtfully crafted capabilities, like scoped cards, that support agentic payments as agents take on more of the world's transacting. Reporting to our founding PMM, you'll help build the positioning, enablement, and market intelligence that keep Rain ahead as this category gets more crowded.
What you’ll do
- Own go-to-market for new card-related product and feature launches, from positioning through rollout
- Build and maintain revenue enablement for both Business Development and post-sales Platform teams, including pitch decks, case studies, and sell sheets, as well as internal training
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Legal to translate card program mechanics like interchange, network rules, program economics, and agentic use cases into materials teams can act on
- Track issuers and networks entering the stablecoin card space in key global markets and give internal teams a clear point of view on how Rain wins
- Build and run training for Business Development and post-sales Platform teams on card issuing fundamentals so they can sell and support credibly
- Represent the voice of the customer back to Product and Engineering to shape roadmap priorities
You are likely to succeed if you have:
- 3-7+ years in product marketing, product management, or sales enablement at a card network, issuer, processor, or program manager (not a fintech or neobank that simply offered a card to consumers)
- Deep knowledge of card issuing economics, including interchange, network fees, program management, and compliance
- A track record selling or marketing card programs to enterprise-level companies
- Genuine interest in agentic payments and how cards like Rain's scoped cards will become a primary way agents transact
- Comfort working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Legal in a fast-moving environment
- Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to make technical and regulatory complexity clear
Bonus attributes:
- Existing relationships across the card issuing and network ecosystem
- Familiarity with agentic commerce, AI agents, or emerging payment rails
