Check out our Careers https://careers.circle.so/ page for more about working at Circle.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Director of Strategic Partnerships will lead the strategy, growth, and performance of Circle's partnerships function, building programs and relationships that strengthen Circle's brand while driving meaningful business outcomes.
This role sits at the intersection of business development, partnerships, creators, content, and growth. You'll be responsible for translating Circle's broader company priorities into a forward-looking partnerships strategy, identifying where and how we invest, developing our most important creator and strategic relationships, and ensuring those investments translate into measurable impact across customer growth, brand awareness, and market position.
A core part of the role is bringing strong creative and commercial judgment to the work, operating as a genuine strategic partner to the people on the other side of the table. You'll cultivate and maintain those relationships directly, building campaigns, offers, content, and experiences that feel authentic to their audiences — and developing strategies that grow revenue for both parties, so that Circle and the partner each achieve their own goals rather than just executing against Circle's priorities.
You'll also build the systems, team, and operating model required to scale the function, moving successful initiatives from one-off execution into repeatable programs that can grow without depending on a single person to drive every detail. This is essential to the function’s ability to achieve significant impact on ICP trials and for the director to be successful in this role. In addition to the operational expertise to move something from incubation to repeatable system, this role has to also be creative enough to continuously develop new strategic programs.
Reporting to our SVP, Ecosystem, you'll work closely with Circle's founders and leadership team, as well as teammates across Community Growth, Media, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, our Design Studio.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Own Circle's Partnerships strategic planning, and roadmap, using deep, company-wide knowledge of Circle's business, strategy, and goals to originate new concepts and ideas that extend the function's impact beyond its current scope — connecting partnership investments to company priorities, measurable business outcomes, and providing strategic direction to managers across multiple areas and operations.
- Take ownership of the function's contribution to new business and other agreed performance goals, using those outcomes to inform where we invest, what we build, and how we prioritize.
- Build repeatable partnership programs and playbooks that allow successful initiatives such as webinars, challenges, creator campaigns, launches, and event activations to scale without requiring the same level of hands-on involvement each time.
- Develop a forward-looking quarterly and annual partnership plan across creator partnerships, strategic relationships, campaigns, launches, events, and other high-impact opportunities.
- Lead Circle's highest-value creator and strategic partnerships, including relationship development, opportunity identification, deal strategy, negotiation, creative direction, and long-term growth.
- Shape the content and creative strategy behind major partnerships, working closely with partners to develop ideas that are authentic to their audience, differentiated in the market, and effective for Circle. This includes bringing in leadership on a case-by-case basis in areas where there could be partnership impact across multiple functions.
- Bring a strong marketing mindset into partnership development, including offer strategy, audience journeys, conversion opportunities, and ways Circle and its partners can create greater value together over time.
- Develop a sophisticated measurement framework for brand activities (i.e. event sponsorships, activations, etc.), so we are leveraging data and insight to inform investments and decisions.
- Establish clear measurement, reporting, and decision-making frameworks for the function, using performance and qualitative insights to improve future investments.
- Support cross-functional teams in a consultative capacity on any content-forward initiatives.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English (CEFR C2 or equivalent https://englishonline.britishcouncil.org/free-english-level-test-cefr-2/), as most collaboration at Circle happens asynchronously.
- 10+ years of experience building 6-7 figure strategic partnerships, creator programs, brand initiatives, or strategic growth programs within SaaS, technology, the creator economy, or a similarly fast-moving industry.
- Strong business development skills including pipeline management, negotiation, partner development, and cross-functional project management.
- Performance marketing instincts and an understanding of how partnerships can drive both brand value and measurable business outcomes.
- Deep understanding of Circle's customers, the creator economy, and the broader market, with a point of view on where Circle can build differentiated relationships and influence.
- Experience developing and growing high-value relationships, with strong judgment around deal structure, negotiation, partner dynamics, and long-term opportunity.
- Exceptional content and creative instincts, with the ability to understand an audience, identify a compelling story, and translate Circle's value into ideas that feel native to a creator or partner.
- The ability to move fluidly between brand strategy and performance, understanding how strong storytelling, offers, funnels, campaigns, and distribution work together.
- A track record of turning successful one-off initiatives into repeatable programs, systems, and playbooks that can scale through a team.
- Strong strategic planning skills and in-depth knowledge of the partnerships function, Circle's broader business strategy, and company-wide goals — with the judgment to translate ambiguous, cross-functional, abstract situations into clear strategy and direction, anticipate future needs, identify opportunities early, prioritize investments, and keep the function operating ahead of the business rather than reacting to it.
- Experience managing and developing a team through senior managers or managers-of-managers, not only direct individual contributors — setting clear expectations, delegating full ownership of a sub-area rather than staying close to execution, coaching judgment, and building greater autonomy over time.
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across teams without needing direct authority.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Circle offers U.S.-benchmarked compensation globally, equity in the company with ongoing refresh grants, and 35 days of paid time off each year.

ABOUT US
Scorewarrior is a game developer and publisher based in Limassol, Cyprus.
We are working on Total Battle — a cross-platform MMO 4X strategy game with a deep social system and extensive player interaction. We have 2 million monthly active players and continue to grow with the goal of becoming the #1 game in the genre.
Our team consists of 200+ passionate, talented, self-driven, and continually developing professionals who love making high-quality games.
ABOUT THE POSITION
We are looking for a Senior Product Analyst to join our General Analytics team: the analytics lead, an analytics engineer and you. Product teams have their own analysts; we take the research questions they cannot answer on their own, and we own how analytics is done across the company.
The core of the role is research: high-uncertainty product questions where the answer is the estimated effect of a specific factor, not a dashboard. Whether to extend the game's lifecycle, how to tell that a new giant feature works, how to run experiments on veteran players spread across hundreds of kingdoms. Alongside it you own the methodology: how experiments and effect estimates are done at Scorewarrior, and whether a number is good enough for a decision and useful to other analysts afterwards.
It is a senior individual-contributor role: close work with the analytics lead, short cycles with game designers and product managers. Pilots of the infra components (experimentation platform, visualization system, AI analyst assistant, ELT) are driven by the analytics lead and the infrastructure itself by the data tech lead; you join as the customer, not the builder. Game industry experience is not required.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Take high-uncertainty questions from product teams (Old Players, New Players, Quality of Life, Platform) from a vague question to a decision the team acts on.
- Design and analyze experiments in non-standard setups: delayed treatment for veteran players, kingdom-level (cluster) tests, small samples, heavy-tailed revenue. Own variance reduction, outlier handling, permutation tests, MDE and power, reporting rules.
- Estimate effects where a classic A/B test is impossible, using causal inference and quasi-experimental designs, and turn one-off solutions into methods other analysts reuse: reference documents, dbt data marts, Tableau dashboards.
- Be the last check before the business acts on a number: the assumptions behind a metric, a test read-out or a pilot's output.
- Use Python inside research when SQL is not enough: a graph algorithm over clan and kingdom networks, an optimization problem, a simulation.
- Specify logging for features shipped by teams without their own analyst, and cover their ad-hoc questions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience running research with high uncertainty end-to-end, from problem framing to a decision the team acted on.
- Hands-on causal inference and quasi-experimental methods (difference-in-differences, synthetic control, matching or similar) on product questions: you can say what breaks an estimate and how you checked it.
- Hands-on A/B test design and analysis, and the applied statistics behind it: distributions, power and MDE, variance reduction, heavy tails and outliers.
- Strong SQL on an analytical data warehouse; ClickHouse is a plus.
- Working Python for research: you can implement an algorithm or a statistical procedure that has no ready-made library call, and you understand what your code, or your AI assistant's code, does and whether it can work. No production services expected.
- Clear, concise communication in writing and in person: you fix agreements, and you say so when a result cannot be trusted, including to the people who asked for it.
- English at B1 or above.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Data science background alongside analytics: modeling, segmentation, validating assumptions with statistical tests.
- Experience building or improving an experimentation platform, or setting methodology that other analysts followed.
- Hands-on experience with dbt and Tableau.
- Understanding of F2P economics, network effects, social or competitive systems; you play games and are ready to play Total Battle.
WHAT WE OFFER
- A team of professionals with a passion for gamedev and a drive to make Total Battle the #1 MMO 4X strategy game.
- An excellent remuneration package, including a 13th salary.
- Full relocation coverage for you and your family to Cyprus (Limassol).
- A modern, sunny office close to the sea.
- Private health insurance for you and your family members.
- A monthly pre-school, school, and university allowance for employees' children.
- Lunch compensation.
- A sports and fitness allowance.
- Company-funded personal development opportunities (professional and language courses, books, etc.).
- Bonuses for outstanding results, years of service, marriage, and childbirth.
- Friendly monthly office parties and epic annual offsite company birthday and Christmas celebrations.

You will lead security architecture reviews and threat modelling, increasingly with the help of AI tooling, and turn one-off security work into repeatable, self-service capabilities. The role combines deep hands-on offensive and defensive security expertise with the engineering mindset needed to automate at scale. You will work closely with development, QA, DevOps, and platform teams.
Responsibilities:
Security Architecture & Threat Modelling:
Lead security architecture reviews and threat modelling for new and existing systems, using AI tools to make reviews faster, more consistent, and scalable across teams
Act as a security force multiplier by influencing the standards, patterns, and guardrails that let teams move fast and stay secure
Security Automation & Tooling:
Design, build, and automate scalable security processes that engineering teams can self-serve, covering secure design review, threat modelling, testing, and remediation workflows
Integrate and automate security checks across the SDLC and CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets, and IaC scanning), tuned for strong signal and low friction
Own and evolve security tooling such as DefectDojo and SAST, DAST, and SCA platforms, maximising automation, coverage, and integration
Apply AI and LLM-based tooling to architecture review, threat modelling, code review, and vulnerability triage, and help define how the team adopts these tools safely
Security Testing & Vulnerability Management:
Conduct and oversee security assessments of web and mobile applications, APIs, and cloud infrastructure, including manual testing and PoC development
Run vulnerability scans across internal infrastructure and the external perimeter, then analyse findings, define remediation, and track issues to closure
Support and triage the Bug Bounty Program and external vulnerability reports, automating triage where possible
Participate in and help lead red teaming and offensive security exercises
Enablement:
Drive knowledge sharing on secure development, mentor engineers, and deliver training for development and QA teams
Requirements:
Experience:
5+ years in application or product security, or equivalent depth, with a track record of senior or staff-level impact
Demonstrable experience leading security architecture reviews and threat modelling (e.g. STRIDE, attack trees, data-flow analysis) across multiple teams or products
Proven ability to automate and scale security processes by building tooling, integrations, and self-service workflows that reduce manual effort
Technical:
Strong hands-on security testing skills, including code review and web, mobile, and API application security assessments, as well as the ability to triage and validate external vulnerability reports and bug bounty submissions
Strong software engineering ability in at least one language (e.g. Python, Go, JavaScript), with the ability to build automation, not just scripts
Deep understanding of the OWASP Top Ten, secure design, and secure coding best practices
Experience with SAST, DAST, SCA, and vulnerability management platforms, and integrating them into CI/CD
Strong understanding of modern application architectures: REST APIs, microservices, cloud-based systems, and containers
Practical experience applying AI and LLM tooling to security work, or clear enthusiasm and aptitude to do so
Collaboration:
Excellent communication and influencing skills: you can explain security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders and drive change without direct authority
A self-starter who enjoys solving complex problems, building leverage through automation, mentoring others, and strengthening security culture
Nice to have:
Experience securing the AI harness: hardening LLM and agent pipelines, prompts, tool and MCP integrations, and model endpoints against prompt injection, data leakage, and insecure agent actions
Experience securing Kubernetes, including cluster hardening, RBAC, network policies, admission control, workload isolation, and image and supply-chain security
Experience securing AWS infrastructure, including IAM, network and account architecture, key and secret management, and CSPM
Experience building AI-assisted security tooling or internal self-service security platforms
Experience mentoring or technically leading a security team
Offensive or advanced security certifications such as OSAI, OSEP, OSCP, or OSWE
What you'll get in return:
You will join the company, that cares about work and life balance
Annual Bonus based on the performance review cycle
Generous Annual Leave Policy
Medical Insurance and Pension fund, with additional benefit packages based on the location
Hybrid working model (3 days from our modern office and 2 days fully remotely)
Comprehensive Workation Policy with 30 more remote days available.
Possibility of taking two additional days of paid leave per year to dedicate to volunteering efforts.
Location: Lisbon, Portugal

About Wolt
At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe.
Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.
About the Team
We are looking for an experienced Manager, Tax Technology to lead tax platform projects for Wolt and Deliveroo within our growing Tax Team. As Wolt and Deliveroo onboard onto the global unified tax platform and a single tax calculation engine (Vertex), this role owns the functional tax leadership that turns business and VAT requirements into configured, tested, live capabilities, and leads the offshore Wolt & Deliveroo implementation team delivering that work day to day. As DoorDash continues to grow its international footprint, we are looking for a candidate with deep, hands-on experience in VAT regimes who can lead a team, collaborate cross-functionally, and own the delivery of tax features and new-platform feature / new-market / new-partnership launches across Wolt and Deliveroo.
About the Role
You will report to the Senior Manager of the Tax Calculation Platform & Mx Operations and lead tax platform and business projects for Wolt and Deliveroo. You will manage a team to deliver day-to-day VAT configuration and testing, and partner closely with Tax Engineering, the Wolt and Deliveroo Tax teams, Tax Product, and other stakeholders — gathering business and VAT requirements, translating them into tax-system functional requirements for configuration and testing, and reviewing Technical Design Documents (TDDs) to provide functional tax expertise back to Tax Engineering.
The primary focus of this position is end-to-end delivery of VAT tax solutions across the Wolt and Deliveroo platforms — new product, market, partnership launches and legislative changes, roadmap alignment with Wolt and Deliveroo's international expansion, and day-to-day leadership of the team executing that delivery — with an understanding of how data flows from upstream systems through the tax engine to downstream reporting. Rather than handing off requirements to the Vertex Center of Excellence team, you will apply your own Vertex knowledge to help influence the functional design and determine the specific Vertex configuration a solution requires. Familiarity with US sales and use tax, food and beverage, and retail tax context is valuable for alignment with the broader platform.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…
Lead tax platform and business projects across the Wolt and Deliveroo platforms, including new product, market, partnership launches, and legislative changes.
Gather business and VAT requirements and translate them into tax-system functional requirements for configuration, testing and delivery.
Review BRDs, PRDs, and TDDs for VAT tax-system implications and provide functional tax expertise back to Tax Engineering.
Define testing requirements and oversee validations across unit, integration, E2E, shadow, and post-launch phases.
Align tax engine priorities and the integrated delivery plan with the Wolt and Deliveroo international market roadmaps, and represent tax platform status updates to Tax and Engineering leadership.
Trace VAT-relevant data from upstream systems through Vertex to downstream reporting and compliance.
Serve as the senior functional tax leader for Wolt and Deliveroo, escalating risk and driving cross-functional alignment across Tax, Product, Engineering, and Data.
Manage and develop a team supporting this area, allocating workload, establishing QA checkpoints, and providing structured knowledge transfer on complex processes.
We’re excited about you because…
You have 8+ years of indirect tax or indirect tax technology experience, with several years working directly in VAT regimes.
You are familiar with VAT tax requirements and can translate them into system requirements.
Hands-on experience implementing or configuring Vertex O Series, and ability to review Vertex configurations and testing documentation and provide feedback.
Hand-on experience implementing or configuring ERP tax integration (e.g. Netsuite) with Vertex tax engine.
Experience with multi-country VAT implementations and EU VAT compliance; familiarity with non-US indirect tax regimes more broadly is a plus.
Demonstrated people-leadership experience, including managing, coaching, workload delegation, and quality oversight.
You can review technical design documents and provide functional tax expertise to engineering and product.
You have familiarity with US sales and use tax, food and beverage, and retail tax context.
You understand how tax data flows from upstream transaction systems through a tax engine to downstream reporting, including both in-house systems or ERP system integration flows.
Program or project management experience across dependent teams, including building plans, milestones, and dependency maps, and driving them to completion.
Comfort operating cross-functionally and building trust with partner teams without always holding formal authority over their roadmaps.
Experience in use of SQL or Snowflake for data self-serve, issue investigation or testing validation.
Experience in use of API testing tools like Postman, SOAP UI and ability to read XML and JSON logs.
Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or Computer Science degree.
You are fluent in leveraging multiple AI tools on the market (e.g., Claude Cowork, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor) on a daily basis across all of your assigned tasks, and you actively look for creative ways to apply them to enhance processes and create efficiency gains.
Nice to Haves
Familiarity with Marketplace Facilitator laws.
Experience managing offshore teams across time zones.
Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
We’re committed to growing and empowering a more inclusive community within our company, industry, and cities. That’s why we hire and cultivate diverse teams of people from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We believe that true innovation happens when everyone has room at the table and the tools, resources, and opportunity to excel.
