From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data.
T
ogether, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on. Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact. During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the Role
Fivetran and dbt Labs are building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies. We're looking for an engineering manager to lead our Metadata team, which owns the metadata layer of the dbt platform: the discovery API, catalog, lineage, and run history services that let customers understand, trust, and act on what their data is doing.
You'll own technical excellence and delivery of a single team, from evolving high-throughput APIs and data models, to hardening reliability and latency for enterprise and single-tenant customers, to shipping new discovery and catalog capabilities in close partnership with product. You'll set direction, review designs and code, remove roadblocks, and grow the engineers on your team through coaching, feedback, and clear career development.
What You'll Do
Lead and grow a team of software engineers, owning hiring, onboarding, coaching, career development plans, and regular 1:1s and check-ins
Own project delivery for your team against the quarterly plan, and be accountable for the reliability and performance of the services you own (e.g. uptime and latency targets)
Review technical designs and code, and provide feedback grounded in a deep understanding of the Metadata product area and architecture
Drive the team to address technical quality — incidents, bugs, tech debt, and post-mortems — within SLA and metric targets
Partner with product and business stakeholders on planning, and maintain a realistic, prioritized feature and project backlog with a high completion rate
Contextualize and communicate the engineering vision and strategy to your team, and share the team's work and business impact with adjacent teams
Ensure engineering processes (e.g. FDLC) are implemented and consistently followed
Delegate effectively and build autonomy and a positive, high-trust culture within the team
Address performance issues and conflict promptly and fairly
Ensure your team uses AI tooling — IDE assistants like GitHub Copilot, coding agents like Claude Code, and conversational AI — to accelerate development and to author and review SDLC artifacts such as TDDs, PRDs, post-mortems, and test plans
Skills We're Looking For
Experience managing and growing a software engineering team (ideally a customer-facing product development team); including hiring, coaching, and running a full performance and career-development cycle
Strong technical foundation with the ability to review designs and code and make sound architectural trade-offs in a distributed, cloud-based systems environment
Track record of delivering complex projects on schedule while holding the team to high standards of quality, reliability, and performance
Experience owning production services and driving operational health — incident response, on-call practices, tech-debt reduction, and meeting SLAs
Ability to plan and prioritize with product partners, maintain a realistic backlog, and drive high sprint and quarterly completion rates
Communicates clearly and effectively across the team and with adjacent teams and stakeholders; keeps people well informed
Fluent in using AI code assistants, coding agents, and conversational AI (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT) to support the software development lifecycle, and able to establish those practices across a team
Bonus Skills
Experience building or operating metadata, catalog, lineage, or discovery/search systems
Experience with GraphQL APIs and high-throughput, multi-tenant data services
Familiarity with the analytics engineering workflow and the dbt ecosystem
Experience supporting enterprise or single-tenant customers with strict reliability and latency requirements

The role requires someone who is comfortable working with ambiguity, making sound judgements, challenging existing processes, and driving issues through to resolution rather than simply identifying them.
This is not a role limited to standard management accounting. We’re looking for someone who can operate with a high level of independence, understands the pace and complexity of a growing fintech business, and is ready to take ownership of work that has a direct impact on the quality, control, and reliability of Group Finance.

Prepare and review monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations, owning resolution of complex or aged items
Analyse and explain month-on-month P&L and Balance Sheet movements, providing insight rather than description
Lead the production of certain financial slides and commentary for Group month-end close presentations
Partner closely with the Settlement and Reconciliation team in Serbia, owning the integrity of settlement, reconciliation, and control account processes across systems
Act as a key contact for the external group, and small entity audits, managing certain auditor requests and owning challenging deliverables across group entities, and taking end to end ownership on a portfolio of smaller audits. .
Design, document, and strengthen financial controls and processes, identifying and delivering improvements independently and continuously.
Deputise for the Deputy Financial Controller on defined workstreams and support ad-hoc technical projects directed by the Deputy Financial Controller, the Group Financial Controller, or Group Finance Director
Leadership & Ownership
Provide technical guidance and review to more junior team members, supporting their development and the quality of their output
Work independently on ambiguous or complex problems, structuring your own approach and bringing solutions rather than questions
Relentlessly drive efficiency and automation in day-to-day practices, reducing time spent on repetitive and administrative tasks without sacrificing quality.
Work with the team to meet agreed service levels and deadlines, and fulfil additional duties as the business requires
Supporting Accounts Payable
Support approval of regular payment runs by the AP team.
What You’ll Need To Be Successful In This Role:
Essential:
Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA)
4–5 years+ post-qualified experience, with demonstrable exposure to complex, technical accounting matters

Solid knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, and tax
Proven ability to work independently and own and deliver complex deliverables end to end
Strong working knowledge of spreadsheets and comfort handling large, complex datasets
Experience with NetSuite or similar major accounting system
A curious, driven, solution based mindset, with the demonstrated ability to investigate the root cause of an issue and find an appropriaate solution.
Competencies:
Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to see the bigger picture
Sound technical judgement and confidence making decisions and supporting them on non-routine matters
Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to convey complex financial data clearly to non-finance and senior finance stakeholders

What unites us is relentless focus, fast execution, and a deep care for software craftsmanship.
The Data team works across Linear, supporting Product, Engineering, and GTM. We own our data pipelines, warehouse, dashboards, analysis, and integrations with third-party tools. As a small team, we focus on building systems that make data accessible and useful across Linear. We’re looking for someone who wants to help shape how we architect, build, and use data as we grow.
Location & work mode
Linear is a remote-first company, with optional co-working offices in San Francisco, New York, and London. This role is open to candidates based in North America. You can work from anywhere within this region. We value deep focus and async collaboration, with intentional moments to connect in person through team off-sites, optional co-working, and occasional travel.
What you’ll do
- Work across Product and GTM (Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Finance) to turn ambiguous questions and operational needs into useful metrics, models, analyses, and workflows
- Build and maintain dbt models and pipelines that create trusted views of our product, customers, and business
- Design clear, maintainable data models and improve the testing, documentation, performance, and reliability of our data stack
- Build dashboards and self-service reporting in Metabase and Hex, and dig deeper when the answer requires more than a chart
- Operationalize data through reverse ETL and partner with GTM Engineering on the scoring, segmentation, automations, and internal tools that help our teams scale
- Balance fast, pragmatic answers with durable solutions, recognizing when a one-off request should become a reusable model or workflow
- Find ways to leverage emerging tools, LLMs, and coding agents to accelerate development, analysis, testing, and documentation while maintaining a high bar for correctness
What we're looking for
- 8+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data analytics, or data engineering, ideally at a fast-moving software company
- Exceptional SQL and strong hands-on experience with dbt and a modern cloud data warehouse
- Track record of owning data projects end-to-end, from shaping an ambiguous problem to shipping something people rely on
- Strong data modeling judgment: you think clearly about grain, reusable components, interfaces, dependencies, and maintainability without relying on a single prescribed methodology
- Analytical judgment: you know when to answer quickly, when to investigate deeply, and how to turn complex findings into a clear recommendation
- Comfortable moving between technical implementation and business context, from debugging a data model to understanding product adoption or sales efficiency
- High ownership mentality: self-directed, pragmatic, and willing to challenge a request or approach when something does not make sense
- Strong communication skills and experience partnering directly with both technical and non-technical teams
- Comfortable using LLMs and coding agents as part of your day-to-day development workflow
Our tech
This stack reflects the systems you’ll work in. You’re not expected to have experience with everything listed, but you should be comfortable learning quickly and working across the full lifecycle of data.
- Data Warehouse: Snowflake, dbt Cloud
- Dashboards / Analysis: Metabase, Hex
- ETL / rETL: Hevo, Fivetran
- GTM tools: Hubspot, Pocus, Clay
What we offer
We're a small, focused team that cares deeply about the quality of our work and the people we do it with. Here's what you can expect:
- Competitive salary and equity
- Employee-friendly equity terms including early exercise in the US and extended exercise windows
- Daily meal and coffee stipend on every workday
- Paid co-working space or desk
- Health coverage (based on country requirements)
- 5 weeks paid vacation, plus local statutory holidays
- 4 months paid parental leave

ABOUT US
Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with many of the world's biggest brands — including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank — to transform how they serve customers and grow their businesses. We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and a commitment to balancing Family along the way. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do.
Our co-founders are Bret Taylor https://www.linkedin.com/in/brettaylor/ and Clay Bavor https://www.linkedin.com/in/claybavor/. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Previously, he was co-CEO of Salesforce (which had acquired the company he founded, Quip) and CTO of Facebook. Bret was also one of Google's earliest product managers and co-creator of Google Maps. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- GTM technical expert: Own the end-to-end technical pre-sales process by scoping customer use cases, articulating business value, designing and demoing Sierra’s incredible platform, leading technical and architecture reviews, and serving as the trusted technical expert throughout the sales cycle.
- Cross-functional work: You will work directly with our Sales, Product and Agent Engineering teams to both drive our GTM function, as well as continuously improve our Agents through our customer-driven product development philosophy.
- Lead & support our customers: As a GTM and technical leader in the earliest conversations with our future customers, you will both understand and anticipate their needs to continue our industry-leading AI solution.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Language fluency - professional fluency in both Spanish and English
- 5-7+ years experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering or customer-facing technical sales.
- Past experience in demo building, and presenting, and working with customers or clients in the GTM function.
- Experience in relationship-building with potential customers, including executives and technical leaders.
- Experience in leading the sales process with Enterprise customers.
- Ability to connect a prospect’s specific business problems and Sierra’s solutions and explain them to both a technical and non-technical audience
- Ability to leverage AI tools efficiently as a regular part of your technical sales motion — discovery prep, solution design, demo and prototype building, technical proposals. With that, you know where these tools can help and where human judgment still is required. Importantly, you own the accuracy of anything you put in front of a customer, whether or not AI helped you build it. This ownership looks like us not saying "[AI tool of choice] built this", but "I built this with [AI tool of choice]."
- Bachelor's Degree or above; bonus if in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
EVEN BETTER...
- Experience translating code, technical logic and user requirements to product and engineering requirements.
OUR VALUES
- Trust: We build trust with our customers with our accountability, empathy, quality, and responsiveness. We build trust in AI by making it more accessible, safe, and useful. We build trust with each other by showing up for each other professionally and personally, creating an environment that enables all of us to do our best work.
- Customer Obsession: We deeply understand our customers’ business goals and relentlessly focus on driving outcomes, not just technical milestones. Everyone at the company knows and spends time with our customers. When our customer is having an issue, we drop everything and fix it.
- Craftsmanship: We get the details right, from the words on the page to the system architecture. We have good taste. When we notice something isn’t right, we take the time to fix it. We are proud of the products we produce. We continuously self-reflect to continuously self-improve.
- Intensity: We know we don’t have the luxury of patience. We play to win. We care about our product being the best, and when it isn’t, we fix it. When we fail, we talk about it openly and without blame so we succeed the next time.
- Family: We know that balance and intensity are compatible, and we model it in our actions and processes. We are the best technology company for parents. We support and respect each other and celebrate each other’s personal and professional achievements.

ABOUT ONEPAY
OnePay is the consumer fintech trusted by millions of Americans to make money better.
Our financial system is broken. High fees, low rates, and too few ways to actually grow your money. We’re fixing it. And we’re moving fast.
We’re an all-in-one financial services platform that brings together banking, high-yield savings, credit cards, point-of-sale lending, investing, and crypto in one place. We also partner with employers, HCM providers, gig platforms, and others to deliver embedded financial services to millions of employees and frontline workers.
We’re backed by Walmart, the world’s largest retailer, and Ribbit Capital, one of fintech’s most respected investors, giving us rare scale, distribution, and the opportunity to build something truly category-defining.
But what really sets OnePay apart is how we move. Our customers don’t have time to wait… and neither do we. This place moves fast, and we’re looking for people who are:
- Ready to run
- Hungry and driven by urgency
- Exceptional at what they do, with low ego
- Comfortable operating in motion
THE ROLE
As an Platform Engineer at OnePay, you will build the core platform services and developer frameworks that power large-scale, distributed systems and enable the next generation of intelligent, agent-driven applications.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Design and operate platform-oriented core services that support high-scale distributed systems across OnePay’s product ecosystem
- Architect, build, and manage Kafka-based event streaming systems that power real-time data flows and mission-critical financial workflows
- Develop internal developer tooling and shared infrastructure that improve velocity, reliability, and observability across engineering teams
- Build and evolve frameworks that support the construction and orchestration of agentic applications, enabling intelligent, automated workflows across products
- Partner closely with engineering, data, and AI teams to solve complex distributed computing challenges in a secure, cloud-native AWS environment
YOU BRING
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering within fintech, cloud infrastructure, or large-scale distributed systems environments
- Strong hands-on experience designing, operating, and scaling Kafka-based event-driven architectures
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, asynchronous processing, and high-availability platform services
- Production experience in AWS cloud environments and building cloud-native infrastructure
- Experience building developer platforms, internal tooling, or frameworks that enable other engineers to move faster
- Drive and proactivity - everyone here is a builder and executor
TOOLS WE USE
We use Typescript front to back, with node and NestJS frameworks for server code and React Native for our iOS, Android, and Web clients. We run on a highly distributed cloud-native stack with Kubernetes and AWS, and scale and resiliency are at the heart of everything we build. We also embrace agentic development, so engineers have their choice of a variety of models and agent harnesses, including Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and more to fit their workflow. While you don't need experience with our exact stack, familiarity with modern software engineering practices will help you ramp up quickly.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Competitive base salary, stock options, and health benefits from Day 1
- 401(k) plan with company match
- Remote-friendly (US), flexible time off (FTO), and opportunities for growth
- A high-growth, mission-driven, inclusive culture where your work has real impact

We are looking for a Senior Analyst, Strategy & Planning to serve as the operational counterpart to FP&A inside Revenue Operations. This role is accountable for headcount and expense management, comp plan execution, forecast roll-ups, and the analytical work that keeps the GTM organization on plan.
Reporting to the Director of Strategy & Planning, you will partner directly with FP&A and across Revenue Operations. This is a high-visibility individual contributor role with broad exposure to the operating mechanics of the GTM organization.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Program-manage the annual planning cycle across Sales and Finance: own the timeline, drive the deliverables, coordinate stakeholders, and synthesize the output into a single plan.
- Own headcount and expense management for the GTM organization: track plan vs. actual, manage requisitions, partner with hiring managers and recruiting on capacity.
- Run the comp plan modeling and execution cycle: scenario modeling, plan documentation, exception handling, and partnership with the comp administrator on payout accuracy.
- Build and maintain forecast roll-ups across regions and segments. Partner with FP&A on variance analysis and corporate forecasting.
- Support territory and quota deployment: produce the analytical work that underpins the annual plan and mid-year adjustments.
- Maintain the Strategy & Planning analytical layer: dashboards, recurring reports, and the data quality work that makes the rest of the team's work possible.
- Partner with FP&A on month-end close, commissions accruals, and revenue reporting.
WHAT YOU BRING ALONG
- 5+ years in revenue operations, sales finance, FP&A, strategic finance, or a similar analytical role. SaaS or consumption-based business model experience preferred.
- Owner-operator mindset. You treat your scope as a system you own end-to-end: you build it, you run it, you fix it when it breaks, and you measure it by what it produces.
- Comfortable program-managing a cross-functional process. You can hold a timeline, drive deliverables across Sales and Finance leadership, and synthesize across stakeholders without being told how.
- Strong financial modeling skills. Driver-based modeling in Excel and Google Sheets, built independently.
- SQL fluency required; Python a plus. Familiarity with ClickHouse, dbt, or a comparable modern analytics stack. Comfort working in code, not just spreadsheets.
- Working knowledge of accounting principles: how revenue, commissions, and expense flow through the financial system.
- Detail-oriented and comfortable with operational rigor. You see controllership as a discipline, not a chore.
- Strong written and verbal communication. Able to translate analytical work into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, comp administration platforms (CaptivateIQ, Spiff, or similar), and BI tools.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field
