We’re scaling fast and staying true to what makes us different: an open-source legacy, a global collaborative culture, and a passion for meaningful work. Our team thrives in an innovation-driven environment where transparency, autonomy, and trust fuel everything we do.
You may not meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If this role excites you, we’d love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity.
This is a fully remote position and we're considering candidates in Spain.
About Product Management
As a Product Manager at Grafana Labs, you'll develop a vision and strategy for your product domain. You will own the experience for your product as well as its roadmap and competitive positioning, and you will collaborate with company leadership on setting your product's goals. You will be the primary advocate and expert in your area, with a strong ability to communicate needs, functionality, and details effectively both to external customers and internal stakeholders. The teams and people you will be interacting with will be 100% remote and globally distributed, so strong and proactive communication is essential.
Product Managers are the bridge that connects R&D to GTM. You are a facilitator who ensures the free flow of information across these teams and are expected to be technically proficient when representing our products to our customers.
The role
As the Staff Product Manager for Enterprise Deployment Solutions, you'll own the Grafana Labs offerings that run outside our standard multi-tenant SaaS. That includes
Grafana Federal Cloud
, for organizations that need FedRAMP-authorized observability: US federal agencies; state, local, and education (SLED) customers; and commercial companies that sell FedRAMP offerings of their own. It also includes
Grafana Cloud Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC)
, which delivers the full Grafana Cloud experience while the customer pays the infrastructure bill directly to their cloud provider, saving them significantly at scale.
Your mission is to make Grafana Labs the obvious choice for organizations that can't use standard SaaS because of compliance, data, or cost-at-scale constraints. Deployment choices change the product: features that are simple in standard SaaS can be hard, expensive, or impossible in a regulated or customer-owned environment. You’ll be responsible for adapting existing Grafana Cloud capabilities to these environments, deciding which features come in, which wait, and which stay out, and occasionally building something specific to BYOC or Federal Cloud. You'll also help shape which deployment models we offer next.
Along the way, you’ll use AI tools daily to speed up research, analyze product signals, and develop positioning, applying strong judgment to the results.
As the Staff Product Manager for Enterprise Deployment Solutions, you will:
Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Grafana Bring Your Own Cloud and Grafana Federal Cloud products, using product data and market research to balance customer value against engineering cost and technical constraints
Own positioning, messaging, and differentiation for these products, including how they compare to regular Grafana Cloud, and partner with Product Marketing on launches, competitive analysis, enablement, and demand programs
Partner with Engineering and Technical Program Management on buildouts for these environments, balancing customer timelines with engineering capacity
Work directly with customers, prospects, and the field on strategic deals and brief partners, resellers, and analysts on our deployment options
Partner with Security, Compliance, and Legal to work through product changes affecting our authorization or existing customer commitments
We’re excited about you because you have
5+ years of product management experience on a technical B2B product,
or
a technical background (software engineering, solutions architecture, SRE, or technical program management) plus a demonstrated move into product ownership
Hands-on experience with a non-standard SaaS deployment model, such as self-managed, air-gapped, sovereign, BYOC, single-tenant, or FedRAMP/government cloud, and a firsthand understanding of how it changes the product, its operations, and its economics
Experience with cloud infrastructure, platform software, or developer tools
Clear product and go-to-market judgment: you've shaped what a product should be and how it's positioned and sold, not only when it ships
Interest in working with US public sector customers and learning their needs and buying cycles. Deep compliance expertise isn't required.
Experience leading across multiple teams without direct authority, with excellent written and verbal communication in a remote, globally distributed organization
Bonus Points
Experience selling to or building for US federal, state, or local government customers, or other highly regulated industries
Familiarity with government or sovereign cloud frameworks, such as FedRAMP, StateRAMP/GovRAMP, BSI C5, or SecNumCloud, or with offerings such as AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, AWS European Sovereign Cloud, or GCP Sovereign Cloud
Experience with pricing and packaging across deployment models
Experience with observability, monitoring, or other data-intensive infrastructure products
Experience working with resellers, systems integrators, or cloud marketplace partners
Familiarity with open source software or commercial open source companies

About Backblaze
Backblaze is the object storage leader in the open cloud movement, fueling customer success with cloud storage built purposefully to unlock budgets, unburden administrators, and unleash innovators. Together with our partners, we’re helping customers break free from the restrictive, overpriced legacy solutions that hold them back, and blaze forward with the full power of the open cloud in their hands.
Founded in 2007, we scaled the business with less than $3 million in outside funding until 2021, when we did a traditional IPO on the Nasdaq stock exchange. Operating with a senior-led model, the firm prioritizes business outcomes over technology checklists, utilizing deep expertise in research design and engineering to solve critical challenges. The team is built on a culture of platform honesty and bounded delivery, moving away from traditional staffing pyramids toward a more focused, impactful approach. This is an opportunity to join a specialized group of practitioners dedicated to transforming how modern enterprises utilize data to achieve clarity and results.
Role Type: Full-time
Engagement: Independent Contractor
Job Summary
We are looking for a high-octane Sales Executive to lead a critical expansion phase for a premier digital marketing agency. Having dominated the automotive and collision repair space, the team is now scaling into new verticals. We need a full-cycle closer who thrives in the "zero-to-one" phase—someone who can hunt, consult, and close high-value retainers while leveraging modern AI tools to outpace the competition. This is an opportunity to report directly to GTM leadership and shape the growth trajectory of a fast-moving, distributed agency.
Key Responsibilities
Execute the full sales cycle from proactive lead generation and outbound prospecting to discovery, proposal, and closing.
Identify and penetrate new market verticals, translating the agency's proven success in automotive into fresh industries.
Conduct deep-dive discovery sessions to understand client pain points and pitch complex, multi-channel marketing retainers.
Manage a clean and rigorous pipeline within HubSpot, ensuring all data is accurate and actionable.
Collaborate with the creative and performance teams to ensure proposals are feasible and aligned with client goals.
Integrate AI tools into your daily workflow to accelerate prospecting, personalize outreach, and streamline administrative tasks.
Requirements
Location: Must be based in the United States or Canada.
Agency Experience: Proven track record selling professional services within a digital marketing agency environment.
Full-Cycle Expertise: Demonstrable experience running the entire sales process; we are looking for a closer, not just an SDR or account manager.
Proven Performance: A history of hitting or exceeding quotas with specific revenue numbers to back it up.
Tech-Forward: You are an early adopter of AI tools and can articulate how you use them to gain a competitive edge.
Digital Literacy: Deep understanding of the digital marketing landscape, including performance marketing, SEO, and creative strategy.
Sales Hygiene: Disciplined CRM habits (HubSpot preferred) and a structured approach to pipeline management.

🌎 Fully remote work environment
🚀 Career growth and leadership opportunities
📈 Long-term stability in a growing market
🎯 Performance-based incentives and bonuses
