MEET THE TEAM 👥
Here at Cleo, we have ~200 Engineers organised into Pillars. ✨ Our stack spans a Ruby on Rails monolith, a single React Native (TypeScript) app frontend, Python for machine learning services, and PostgreSQL, all hosted on AWS and shipped through Kubernetes - backend goes out multiple times a week, app releases to Google and Apple at least weekly. To thrive here, our engineers proactively use our Engineering Principles to guide daily decisions, take ownership of problems beyond their own squad to drive broader impact, and actively drive their own learning, development, and growth.
ABOUT THE ROLE ✍️
We're hiring a Staff Backend Engineer for our Financial Assistant Pillar. You'll shape technical direction and drive delivery across multiple functional product squads.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Partnering with senior peers to define architecture and lead complex, high-impact initiatives
- Bringing teams together to ship ambitious product work that improves users’ financial health
- Building shared systems, patterns, and tooling that raise the bar across engineering
- Staying hands-on in our Ruby on Rails monolith -- designing APIs, data models, and scalable services
- Anticipating risks and opportunities early, influencing plans and technical strategy
- Mentoring engineers and TLs, growing the next generation of technical leaders
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 🕵️
- You’re excited by the opportunity to own and influence technical direction at a pillar level
- You’ve operated at senior/staff level across multiple teams or complex domains
- You bring strong technical judgment and think in long-term, scalable solutions
- You’re comfortable leading without authority and aligning teams around a shared direction
- You have a track record of building systems and practices used beyond your immediate team
- You enjoy mentoring and raising the bar for others
- You have strong, hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails (essential)
WHAT WE OFFER
We offer benefits package built to support you in and out of work. Benefits vary by country 🌍 and include meaningful equity, comprehensive health insurance, mental health support, a paid one-month sabbatical after four years, a learning & development platform, pension or retirement contributions, and location-specific leave entitlements.

MEET THE TEAM 👥
Here at Cleo, we have ~70 Data Scientists (Product Analysts) working embedded into our Pillars ✨ They stay connected and share knowledge consistently through monthly meetings and slack channels to scale approaches and ensure everyone learns in the same way. They thrive through clear communication with their squad and stakeholders to influence product or company decisions, being that bridge between the non-tech and technical sides of the team. We have deeply structured data and a great experimentation culture using StatSig for all analysts to dive into!
ABOUT THE ROLE ✍️
We're hiring a senior analytics leader to own the analytics strategy and operating model across Cleo's Financial Services Product pillars. You'll lead and develop the analytics leadership layer itself - L4/L5 managers and senior ICs - setting company-level standards for metrics, experimentation, and reporting across pillars.
- Own the analytics strategy and operating model across Financial Services Product pillars - coherent measurement, experimentation, and insight cadence mapped to company priorities
- Lead and develop the analytics leadership layer (L4/L5 managers and senior ICs), building a strong bench, growth plans, and succession so the function doesn't rely on any single person
- Drive the experimentation programme as a product - fixing structural issues like single source of truth, standard bucketing, automated conflict detection, sizing and priors - and raise the bar on rigour across squads
- Improve observability of live user flows and metric movements, partnering with Engineering on the event framework and product-health reporting
- Champion responsible use of agentic AI as a force multiplier for analytics, with sensible guardrails
- Partner with Product, Credit, Engineering, Commercial, and ML leadership to shape roadmaps and trade-offs with evidence, giving senior leadership clear visibility on what's driving key metrics
- Set and enforce company-level standards for metrics, experimentation, and reporting, reducing duplicated, siloed work across pillars
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 🕵️
- 8+ years in data analytics, data science, BI engineering, or analytics engineering, ideally in a high-growth, product-led company
- Proven management experience of at least 4+ ICs
- Deep experimentation expertise beyond stat-sig testing - fixing structural problems in a testing programme: bucketing, conflicts/collisions, sizing, priors, governance
- A builder's instinct: bias for automation, ownership, and shipping
- Ability to set standards and an operating model that teams actually adopt, measurably improving delivery beyond a single team
- Commercial sense - can translate product/user metrics into revenue, profitability, and LTV, and hold your own with Product Directors and Commercial stakeholders
- Systems thinker, comfortable in a mature, complex product environment with interacting parts (e.g. payments, credit risk, ML models feeding user experience)
- Exec-ready storytelling - can synthesise across pillars, land insight at the right moment, and set and defend targets with senior stakeholders
- Player-coach instinct - creates leverage through delegation, templates, and self-serve, but goes hands-on on the highest-leverage or most ambiguous problems when needed
- Comfortable using AI tools (Claude, Cursor) as leverage, with the judgement to know when to trust output and when to verify
- Interest in fintech and Cleo's mission to make money easier and more human
- Nice to have: causal inference depth (CUPED, Bayesian methods, PSM, uplift modelling) and the judgement to know when it's worth the effort
- Nice to have: genuine enthusiasm for agentic AI as a force multiplier in analytics workflows
- Nice to have: credit-risk analytics exposure - arrears, defaults, how ML risk models interact with product analytics and UX
- Nice to have: fintech, personal finance, lending, or high-growth consumer subscription experience

Figma is growing our team of passionate creatives and builders on a mission to make design accessible to all. Figma’s platform helps teams bring ideas to life—whether you're brainstorming, creating a prototype, translating designs into code, or iterating with AI. From idea to product, Figma empowers teams to streamline workflows, move faster, and work together in real time from anywhere in the world. If you're excited to shape the future of design and collaboration, join us!
As a Field Engineer, you will own technical consultations that help enterprise customers adopt and optimize Figma. You will uncover technical challenges, guide customers toward an agreed solution through demonstrations, architectural recommendations, and deliver actionable deployment guidance. Where appropriate, you will deliver scoped engagements in customer environments, writing and adapting code, configuring integrations, and validating solutions alongside customer teams.
This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
What you’ll do at Figma:
Lead technical consultations from discovery through closeout, uncovering customer challenges and defining a clear path to adoption.
Secure customer agreement on proposed solutions through presentations, demonstrations, and architectural guidance, then deliver a technical deployment guide.
Advise on enterprise integrations, identity, governance, design systems and developer workflows, including Code Connect, Dev Mode, MCP, and AI-assisted development.
Deliver carefully scoped implementation engagements in customer environments: navigate existing code, write or adapt code and configuration, and debug and validate results within customer development processes.
Enable customer teams to maintain and extend solutions through workshops, documentation, and hands-on knowledge transfer.
Partner with Forward Deployed Engineering to develop reusable playbooks and own unfamiliar problems through diagnosis and scoping, bringing in specialists as needed.
Coordinate with customer success, sales, product, and engineering teams to remove adoption barriers, share implementation insights, and connect technical outcomes to customer value and account growth. Surface recurring friction, workarounds, and unmet needs to inform product improvements.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as technical account management, solutions engineering, technical consulting, or implementation engineering.
Experience leading technical discovery, defining scoped solutions, and aligning multiple stakeholders on an implementation approach, plus strong communication skills for presenting recommendations, demonstrating solutions, and writing deployment guidance that customers can follow independently.
Strong software development skills in web, mobile, or other applications, including navigating unfamiliar codebases, writing and testing code, and learning new languages and frameworks, with working knowledge of APIs, authentication, Git, and developer tooling to troubleshoot integrations and follow customer code review and deployment processes.
Demonstrated knowledge of how enterprise identity, access controls, and governance affect implementation, and how design systems and reusable components connect design to code.
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools, with the ability to explain generated code, verify its behavior, and take responsibility for the changes you deliver.
While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
2+ years of experience as a product engineer working in a modern PDLC
Experience with Figma, Code Connect, Dev Mode, Make, or related design and developer collaboration tools.
Experience building or maintaining design systems, component libraries, or design token pipelines.
Deeper expertise in enterprise identity integrations, CI/CD pipelines, or security and governance requirements.
Experience turning customer implementations into reusable playbooks, reference examples, or technical enablement materials.
At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills. If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with the points outlined in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.

You care about developer tools, clear technical storytelling, and helping software engineers do their best work. You know how to take complex product capabilities and turn them into clear narratives, launches, and campaigns that resonate with a highly technical audience. If you thrive on autonomy, take pride in your technical craft, and want to help shape how .NET developers worldwide view our tools, this role is for you.
About JetBrains
We create intelligent software development tools for developers and teams. More than 15 million users, over 300,000 companies, and 88 of the Fortune Global Top 100 rely on our products to solve real, complex problems. Our mission is simple: make development teams more productive and AI adoptable at scale.
What you’ll do
Developer tools are changing fast, and how we talk about .NET tools needs to stay grounded, credible, and clear. We need someone who can take ownership of technical product marketing across Rider, ReSharper, and dotUltimate, ensuring our messaging cuts through industry noise and focuses on genuine developer needs.
In this role, you’ll dig into products and developer workflows yourself, identify the stories worth telling, and help determine how we bring them to market. You will work closely with Product Managers, software engineers, Developer Advocates, Research, Growth, and other Marketing teams. Decisions here live close to the work – you’ll have the autonomy to generate ideas, test new campaign approaches, and shape product messaging without needing permission at every step.
Day to day, you will:
Develop clear positioning, messaging, and product stories around Rider, ReSharper, dotUltimate, and related .NET developer experiences.
Turn complex technical capabilities and developer workflows into clear content, including launch stories, product pages, blog posts, case studies, video scripts, and campaign assets.
Own product and feature marketing for key capabilities, working from product priorities and product manager input to shape developer-facing stories.
Coordinate selected release marketing workflows, including planning and producing What’s New content and ensuring release stories are accurately represented.
Build a deep understanding of .NET developers, their workflows, customer needs, market trends, and community conversations to shape priorities and campaigns.
Develop and execute developer-focused campaigns around important product bets, defining the audience, message, channels, assets, and measures of success.
Extend product stories beyond release day through follow-up content, campaigns, customer stories, and amplification.
Measure the performance of launches, content, and campaigns, share what we learn, and adjust our approach when needed.
Help tell the evolving story of professional developer tools as AI changes how software is built, including workflows involving agents and code intelligence.
Contribute hands-on by writing articles, testing features, building briefs, editing landing pages, and capturing product visuals directly on demo projects.
What you’ll bring
High technical curiosity and a deep respect for developer workflows and software craft.
Comfort taking ownership, making decisions independently, and carrying ambiguous opportunities through execution.
A habit of asking good questions and challenging assumptions constructively before building a campaign.
Clear, direct communication style with an ability to explain complex technical ideas clearly and credibly.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple workstreams and collaborate smoothly across distributed teams.
A pragmatic approach that balances strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and hands-on execution.
What you’ll need
Practical experience in technical product marketing, developer marketing, or a comparable role for a technical software product.
Ability to understand software development well enough to work directly with engineers and translate technical capabilities into developer benefits.
Proven track record of bringing software products, features, or releases to market within frequent release cycles.
Solid understanding of positioning, messaging, audience segmentation, channel selection, and campaign measurement.
Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to create compelling technical content and collaborate effectively with global teams.
We’d be especially thrilled if you:
Have worked on developer tools, IDEs, APIs, SDKs, cloud or developer infrastructure, DevOps, or another product built for software developers.
Have hands-on development experience or regularly work with code and developer tooling.
Know C#, .NET, Rider, ReSharper, Visual Studio, VS Code, or related developer ecosystems.
Have marketed AI-assisted development tools or are familiar with modern coding agents and AI developer workflows.
Have created technical content such as case studies, tutorials, product videos, demos, technical articles, or developer-focused campaigns.
Have experience working directly with developer communities or technical customers, including through webinars, interviews, or customer conversations.
What success looks like
Success means crafting clear, credible product narratives that help .NET developers understand the value of our tools, earning the trust of product and engineering teams, and continuously improving how we bring releases and campaigns to market.

MEET THE TEAM
Here at Cleo, we have ~200 Engineers organised into Pillars ✨ Our stack spans a Ruby on Rails monolith, a single React Native (TypeScript) app frontend, Python for machine learning services, and PostgreSQL, all hosted on AWS and shipped through Kubernetes - backend goes out multiple times a week, app releases to Google and Apple at least weekly. To thrive here, our engineers proactively use our Engineering Principles to guide daily decisions, take ownership of problems beyond their own squad to drive broader impact, and actively drive their own learning, development and growth.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a brilliant Frontend React/React Native Engineer with an eye for UI/UX design to join us on our mission to fight for the world's financial health. You’ll be joining a team of adaptable, creative and product-focused engineers who ship working software. - Writing automated tests alongside your code to give us the confidence to ship it
- Using AB-Tests, feature flags and other tools that let us iterate quickly
- Using data to dig into user journeys, detecting problems and helping to optimise the Cleo experience
- Being part of the rota for our weekly app releases to the Apple and Google app stores
- Getting involved in cross-cutting concerns that lift our entire engineering effort with the rest of the frontend chapter
- Taking part in shaping all the work your squad does, not just the technical parts. Delivery is a team sport, and we encourage everyone at Cleo to share their ideas, so you can expect to be involved in product ideation sessions, user research calls, design reviews, retrospectives, ways of working sessions, product demos, OKR reviews.
Whichever squad and part of the business you land in, you will be shipping changes multiple times a week to our hundreds of thousands of active users and seeing your work having a material impact on the financial health of those most in need.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You are passionate about making a positive difference in society by improving the financial health of our users. You align with our company values https://web.meetcleo.com/life-at-cleo and engineering principles https://web.meetcleo.com/blog/cleo-engineering-principles, which drive our ways of working and software delivery.
For this frontend focused role, we also have some specific asks:
- We’re looking for someone with strong industry experience of using React Native or React with TypeScript for a minimum of 2+ years.
- As your work will primarily involve working on features for our mobile apps, we’d either like to see some proven experience in this area or a genuine passion for moving into the mobile app space.

ABOUT THE TEAM
The Release Team owns the safe, continuous delivery of ClickHouse Cloud, a managed database platform running tens of thousands of ClickHouse clusters. We are responsible for upgrading and maintaining those clusters at scale, building the internal tooling that makes it possible, and being the last line of defense when something doesn't go according to plan.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is an equal split between operational execution and software development. You are responsible for the operational side: coordinating and running upgrades, dealing with edge cases that don't fit the happy path, and keeping tens of thousands of clusters healthy in production. At the same time, you are building and constantly improving the systems that make the next rollout safer and more automated than the last. If you find satisfaction in both writing the playbook and executing it, including the messy parts, this role is for you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Plan and execute rolling upgrades across tens of thousands of ClickHouse clusters, ensuring safety, correctness, and minimal customer impact
- Own the full release pipeline: from pre-upgrade validation and staged rollouts to post-upgrade monitoring and incident response
- Investigate and resolve production issues as part of a regular on-call rotation, including snowflake clusters and edge cases that automation can't yet handle
- Build and improve the internal tooling and automation that makes large-scale database operations reliable and repeatable
- Work closely with the core database and cloud infrastructure teams to identify operational pain points and turn them into solved problems
- Support and educate other engineering teams using our internal tools
ABOUT YOU
- 5+ years of experience operating stateful distributed systems in production, such as databases, message queues, or storage systems
- Hands-on experience running upgrades or maintenance operations on live production data stores, at scale
- Strong production debugging skills; you are comfortable digging into unfamiliar systems under pressure
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Kubernetes
- Software development experience in Go (or strong experience in another language and genuine willingness to learn)
- Experience with ClickHouse preferred (as a user, operator or contributor)
