Location: Los Angeles, CA or Remote Workplace: onsite Role Description Spin.AI is looking for a highly analytical, hands-on Growth Marketing Lead to own the performance engine behind our inbound marketing strategy across Spin.AI’s portfolio: including Backup (Mission critical SaaS apps), Security (DLP and Browser), and Atlassian backup/ecosystem. This person will connect organic, paid, social, web, retargeting, nurture, conversion, and performance measurement into a cohesive inbound growth engine. You'll partner closely with our Director of Marketing to take strong stories, campaigns, content, and creative and ensure they reach the right audiences, convert effectively, and contribute to a measurable pipeline. You'll serve as the internal owner of growth performance, connecting marketing programs, external agencies and freelancers, our fractional Marketing Operations support, data, and funnel performance. You'll have significant ownership and autonomy in this role. We're hiring you for your expertise, and we trust you to use it. We want you to challenge assumptions, bring forward ideas, tell us when you think there's a better way, and make decisions within your area of ownership. You won't have someone standing over you telling you how to do your job; you'll have the space and support to figure out what will drive results and execute against it. What You'll Own: Inbound Growth & Demand Own performance across the inbound marketing funnel, from acquisition through qualified opportunity. Understand how prospects discover, engage with, convert through, and progress across marketing channels. Identify gaps, friction, and growth opportunities throughout the buyer journey. Partner with the Director of Marketing to connect organic visibility to measurable business outcomes. Develop a holistic view of inbound performance across all three brands. Paid Acquisition & Performance Marketing Own paid acquisition strategy across Google, LinkedIn, retargeting, paid social, and additional channels. Manage and optimize paid marketing budgets. Determine where investment should increase, decrease, or be tested based on performance. Develop audience, offer, channel, and campaign testing strategies. Evaluate performance based on qualified opportunities and pipeline—not simply impressions, clicks, or lead volume. Manage paid media agencies, freelancers, and specialized partners. Campaign Activation & Distribution Partner closely with the Director of Marketing to turn integrated campaign strategies into measurable growth programs. Develop distribution and amplification plans around major campaigns and content. Determine appropriate audiences, channels, offers, conversion points, and follow-up strategies. Ensure campaigns have clear paths from awareness and engagement to conversion. Find opportunities to extend the reach, performance, and business value of existing content and creativity. Conversion Rate Optimization Own CRO across landing pages, forms, CTAs, campaign experiences, and key website conversion paths. Partner with the Director of Marketing and creative resources on messaging and creative variations. Build and maintain an ongoing testing roadmap and turn successful experiments into repeatable best practices. Retargeting, Lifecycle & Lead Nurture Develop strategies for continuing to engage prospects after their initial interaction. Build retargeting audiences and programs across relevant channels. Develop lifecycle segmentation and nurture strategies. Partner with fractional Marketing Operations support on automation and technical implementation. Improve progression from initial engagement to qualified opportunity. AI-Native Marketing & Execution Be AI-native in how you work, using AI as an everyday part of research, analysis, execution, experimentation, and decision-making – not simply as a writing assistant. Use AI to analyze marketing and performance data, uncover trends and anomalies, synthesize insights, identify growth opportunities, and accelerate reporting. Use AI to accelerate campaign development and experimentation, including audience research, messaging variations, landing-page testing, creative ideation, and performance analysis. Build AI into repeatable workflows to automate manual work, connect information across tools, and increase the speed and quality of marketing execution. Be comfortable working with leading AI platforms and AI-enabled productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Cowork, and similar tools, while continuously evaluating new technologies as the ecosystem evolves. Know how to work effectively with AI-generated analysis: asking the right questions, providing the right context and data, validating outputs, and applying human judgment before acting on recommendations. Proactively identify opportunities where AI can make our marketing organization faster, smarter, more analytical, and more scalable. Growth Experimentation Maintain a prioritized growth experimentation roadmap. Move quickly from hypothesis to execution Scale what works and stop what doesn't. Proactively bring new ideas, channels, technologies, and opportunities to the team rather than waiting for them to be assigned. Performance Analytics & Attribution Connect marketing activities to measurable business outcomes. Understand performance across visitor → lead → qualified lead → opportunity → pipeline. Establish KPIs for campaigns and acquisition programs. Monitor acquisition costs, funnel conversion, opportunity creation, pipeline contribution, and campaign ROI. Turn performance data into recommendations and actions, not simply dashboards. Help leadership understand what's working, what's not, why, and what Marketing should do next. Partnership With the Director of Marketing This is designed to be a close counterpart relationship between two distinct areas of marketing expertise. The Director of Marketing owns the market-facing strategy : overall marketing strategy, integrated campaigns, narrative, brand, content, messaging, creative direction, organic strategy, customer storytelling, thought leadership, and market POV. The Growth Marketing Lead owns the performance engine : acquisition, distribution, activation, conversion, retargeting, nurture, experimentation, optimization, and measurement. You'll be involved early in campaign planning, not handed finished assets and asked to promote them. Your audience, channel, conversion, and performance insights should influence how campaigns are built from the beginning. At the same time, the role maintains clear functional ownership. The Growth Marketing Lead does not replace ownership of overall marketing strategy, brand strategy, editorial strategy, company narrative, creative direction, or integrated marketing strategy. Both roles remain deeply connected to GTM, pipeline, revenue, and business outcomes. Together, they create the feedback loop between what the market needs to hear and what performance data tells us is resonating. Fractional Marketing Operations Partnership The Growth Marketing Lead will work closely with a fractional/retained Marketing Operations resource who can support the technical infrastructure required to run and measure the growth engine. This may include CRM and marketing automation infrastructure, campaign tracking and attribution, lead scoring and routing, lifecycle automation, integrations, database health, dashboards, and reporting infrastructure. You don't need to personally administer every system. You do need enough technical fluency to know what needs to be built, articulate the business requirements, recognize when something isn't working correctly, and use the resulting data to make informed decisions. You will effectively serve as the business owner of marketing performance , with specialized Marketing Operations support helping i What Success Looks Like: Success will be measured through outcomes including: Marketing-sourced pipeline Qualified opportunities generated Inbound conversion rates Cost per qualified lead and opportunity Lead-to-opportunity conversion Paid acquisition efficiency Landing-page and website conversion Funnel velocity Growth experiment performance Improved visibility and confidence in marketing performance across the portfolio Experience We're Looking For: 3–5+ years of B2B growth, demand generation, performance marketing, or related experience, ideally within cybersecurity, SaaS, or technology. Demonstrated experience owning multi-channel inbound acquisition programs. Hands-on understanding of Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, retargeting, paid social, and performance marketing. Strong understanding of SEO and organic acquisition, with experience connecting organic traffic to conversion and pipeline. Experience with landing-page optimization, CRO, A/B testing, and structured experimentation. Experience building retargeting, nurture, and lifecycle programs. Strong understanding of B2B marketing funnels and progression from visitor through lead, opportunity, pipeline, and revenue. Experience working with CRM, marketing automation, attribution, analytics, and reporting systems. Demonstrated proficiency using AI in modern marketing workflows, including research, data analysis, reporting, campaign optimization, experimentation, automation, and productivity. You should be comfortable working across leading AI platforms and quickly learning new tools as they emerge. Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into clear recommendations and actions. Experience managing agencies, freelancers, vendors, and specialized external resources. Experience collaborating closely with senior marketing leadership, Content/Creative, Sales, Product, and external Marketing Operations resources. Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Cybersecurity experience is valuable, but strong B2B SaaS experience combined with the ability and desire to learn a technical market quickly can also be successful. How We Work: You have a startup mindset. You're a self-starter who doesn't need someone telling you what to do throughout the day. You can take a business objective, figure out what needs to happen, ask the right questions, and independently move the work forward. You're resourceful, curious, and a fast learner. We trust your expertise. There is real ownership in this role. We hire great people because we want their ideas, judgment, and experience – not because we want someone to simply execute instructions. If you think there's a better approach, we genuinely want to hear it. If the data is telling you we should change direction, say so. You'll be trusted to make decisions within your area, experiment thoughtfully, and do your job in the way you believe will produce the strongest results. You're collaborative and dynamic. You'll work closely with the Director of Marketing, broader marketing leadership, Sales, Product, external partners, and specialists across the organization. You know how to bring strong opinions and expertise to the table without creating territorial silos. You communicate well, welcome feedback, and value other people's expertise as much as your own. You move fast. We'd rather thoughtfully test a strong idea, learn from it, and iterate than spend months trying to make something theoretically perfect. You know how to prioritize, execute, measure, and move forward. If something doesn't work, understand why, learn from it, and try again. You take ownership. If something you're responsible for isn't working, you investigate it. If tracking looks wrong, you flag it. If an agency isn't delivering, you address it. If you see an opportunity, you bring it forward. "Nobody told me to" isn't how we operate. You're a team player. We care about the work we do and the people we do it with. You take pride in producing great work, celebrate team wins, help when someone needs it, and genuinely enjoy collaborating with smart people toward a shared goal. You're adaptable. Our products evolve. Technology advances. Messaging changes. Priorities change. AI is changing how people discover and consume information, and cybersecurity certainly doesn't stand still. You're comfortable operating in a fast-moving technical market and can learn quickly enough to keep pace. You're AI-native. AI is changing both the cybersecurity market we operate in and the way great marketing teams work. We expect you to use it. Whether you're analyzing campaign data, researching an audience, building a workflow, pressure-testing an idea, finding patterns, or eliminating repetitive work, your instinct should be to ask how AI can help you do the job better and faster. We're not looking for someone who occasionally opens an AI tool, we want someone who actively experiments with new capabilities and incorporates the best ones into how they work. You're comfortable with cybersecurity. You don't need to know every acronym on day one, but you should enjoy learning complex technology and understanding the problems our customers are trying to solve. You can become conversant enough in cybersecurity to make intelligent decisions about audiences, campaigns, messaging, and performance. You care about outcomes more than activity. Launching a campaign isn't the finish line. A beautiful dashboard isn't the outcome. More leads aren't necessarily better leads. You want to understand what actually moved the business and what we should do differently because of it. And we genuinely enjoy working together! Across Spin.AI, Revyz, and DoControl, we want people to be proud of what they build, without believing great work requires sacrificing everything outside of it. We respect work-life balance, trust people to manage their responsibilities, and value positive, healthy working relationships. We work hard, move quickly, and care deeply about results – but we also want people to enjoy the work they're doing and the life they're living while they do it. A positive attitude, mutual respect, and being someone others genuinely enjoy working with matter here. Location: Montréal We take play seriously. We’re looking for curious adventurers ready to find their party, fueled by imagination and drive to build what’s never been built before. At Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast, you’ll collaborate with passionate teams to reimagine our iconic brands and create experiences that spark joy, connection, and community through the magic of play. This is your chance to shape legendary play that lasts a lifetime. We’re building something new inside our AI Studio, and we’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to help shape it with us. This role sits at the center of a new and constantly evolving business area. The problems are still taking shape, and the systems are actively being built. What excites us is the opportunity to push the boundaries of what stories and characters can be and to use technology to bring iconic IP to life in ways never before imagined. We work where storytelling, imagination, and technology converge. Our focus is on defining and building the core systems that transform characters and worlds from something audiences watch into something they can interact with and engage over time. This role keeps the platform running and makes shipping it safe. Working alongside senior engineers on the platform team, this DevOps Engineer will help build and maintain the pipelines, environments, and production infrastructure behind our character platform: the APIs, admin tooling, and real-time voice experiences that partners build on. Success here means deploys that are fast, boring, and reversible, and a production environment that stays healthy as more partners go live. What You’ll Do The platform is already in production, so the first job is helping make what we have more robust: improving how releases reach production, putting alarms in front of every deploy, and making sure database migrations never surprise anyone. Over time, you’ll take on more ownership of the infrastructure as the platform grows into new partners, environments, and interaction modes. When it’s time to roll out, the goal is that nobody has to hold their breath. Maintain and improve our CI/CD pipelines and shared templates, including container image builds, caching, test gates, and promotion from development through staging to production. Help implement our deployment strategy for containerized services, including health checks and automatic rollback when alarms fire. Maintain and extend our cloud infrastructure as code across multiple AWS accounts, from container services and managed databases to caching, content delivery, and network security. Build and tune monitoring and alerts so problems surface before a partner notices them. Keep access and secrets tight with least-privilege permissions, short-lived CI credentials, and managed secrets, in support of our responsible AI and data-handling commitments. Support environment management and developer tooling that make it easier for engineers to ship changes on their own. What You’ll Bring 3+ years in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering, running production systems on AWS that real users depend on. Hands-on infrastructure-as-code experience (AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform, Pulumi, etc.). You treat infrastructure changes with the same care as code changes. Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for containerized services. GitLab CI is a plus. Working knowledge of containers and orchestration (ECS or Kubernetes), and familiarity with AWS networking basics (VPCs, subnets, security groups, load balancers, DNS). Working knowledge of Python or TypeScript for scripting and automation. Experience working with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools. Comfort in a fast-moving environment where processes are still being built, including helping document runbooks. Extra Credit Experience with zero-downtime deployments, including automated rollback. Datadog or OpenTelemetry instrumentation experience. Familiarity with real-time media infrastructure (WebRTC, LiveKit). PostgreSQL operations: migrations, backups, and performance tuning, ideally on AWS Aurora. Over 180,000 businesses, from Fortune 100 leaders to the world’s most innovative AI companies, trust 1Password to help their teams securely adopt the SaaS and AI tools they need to do their best work. If you're excited about the opportunity to contribute to the digital safety of millions, to work alongside a team of curious, driven individuals, and to solve hard problems in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, then we want to hear from you. Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future. We’re hiring an Intermediate Frontend Developer to join our Device Security team. 1Password helps people use technology safely, and our Device Security initiative is expanding that mission to the devices where work happens. As a mid-level Developer, you’ll help build administrative experiences such as device compliance dashboards and policy configuration tools while contributing to a new product initiative from the ground up. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Product, Design, and infrastructure partners to make complex security information easier for enterprise administrators to understand and act on. How we’re using AI today Our Engineering, Product, and Design teams are thoughtfully integrating AI across the full software and product development lifecycle to move faster without sacrificing quality or security. In practice, that looks like engineers using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate reviews and catch bugs earlier, product managers synthesizing user research at scale, and designers rapidly prototyping and iterating with AI-generated mockups. We approach AI the same way we approach security: with clear principles, human accountability at every consequential decision point, and rigorous evaluation before anything ships to customers. This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US. What we're looking for: - You have 2+ years of experience in software development, including building web experiences with React and TypeScript. - You have experience developing clear, maintainable frontend components and interfaces for complex product requirements. - You have worked on products serving large user bases and understand how frontend decisions can affect scalability, performance, and optimization. - You communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with engineers, Product, Design, and other cross-functional partners. - You ask thoughtful questions, reflect on what you’ve learned, and use challenges and mistakes as opportunities to improve your technical judgment. - You’re comfortable using artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted development tools thoughtfully and understand their capabilities and limitations. Bonus points for: - Experience with Rust or Go, full-stack development with a frontend focus, composable design system components, or security, administration, or device management products. What you can expect: - Build and maintain administrative interfaces for enterprise customers, including device compliance dashboards and policy configuration tools. - Develop intuitive experiences that help administrators understand device security posture, identify risks, and take action. - Contribute to a new Device Security initiative that is still being shaped, with opportunities to influence product direction and technical solutions. - Initially contribute to client-side work in related product areas before transitioning more fully to Device Security as the initiative develops. - Collaborate with experienced engineers and cross-functional partners through planning, technical discussions, code reviews, testing, and documentation. - Grow your technical judgment and ownership through mentorship, knowledge sharing, pair programming, and feedback. USA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $123,000 USD and $172,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs. Canada-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $111,000 CAD and $155,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs. An overview of this role As the Corporate Development Director, you'll help influence how GitLab invests to win: what we build, what we buy, where we partner, and what we should not pursue. This role sits within the Corporate Development & Strategic Partnerships team, reporting to the VP, Corporate Development & Strategic Partnerships. This role straddles strategy and M&A engagements. You'll lead research that frames GitLab's options: mapping the markets in and around our AI-powered DevSecOps platform, testing where we have a right to win, and turning that into clear recommendations for the executive team. When the answer is to acquire, you'll drive the deal process end to end, from outreach through close and integration. Success here is not measured by deal count. It looks like sharper strategic choices: a well-reasoned point of view on our priority markets, investment theses that product and executive leaders rely on, acquisitions that speed up the roadmap when buying is the right answer, and an educated no when it isn't. You'll own the wider market perspective rather than individual product categories, and work with the team's Analyst on the research behind it. What you'll do Strategy and research Own the wider market view. Research the broader market GitLab competes in, beyond specific product categories: competitive dynamics, AI-native entrants, technology shifts and where value is moving. Collaborate with the team's Analyst on the research and turn the findings into a clear point of view on where GitLab should play. Build an investment thesis for each focus area. Work with Product and Engineering leaders to define the problems worth solving, the capabilities GitLab needs, and what it would cost in time and money to get there on our own. Own the competitive and landscape view. Maintain market maps and a current read on GitLab's competitors: their strategy, product direction, positioning, pricing, and M&A and funding activity. Produce competitor analyses that show where we lead, where we're exposed and how rivals are likely to move. Flag shifts by competitors, hyperscalers and AI labs that change our options, and bring the implications to Product and the executive team. Define where GitLab should not play. Identify adjacencies that dilute focus and markets where the economics or competition work against us. Make the case for a no with the same rigor as a yes. Build, buy or partner Run the build, buy, partner analysis. For each strategic gap, compare the options side by side on speed, cost, risk, control and strategic fit, and bring a clear recommendation. Deliver strategic clarity to executives and the Board. Produce short strategy memos/decks and business cases that set out the decision, the trade-offs and what we give up with each path. Feed company strategy and planning. Bring an outside-in view of the market and the inorganic options available into annual and long-range planning. Work hand in hand with Strategic Partnerships. When partnering is the right answer, frame the opportunity and hand it to the partnership owner with a clear thesis. When it isn't, explain why. Deal execution and integration Own end-to-end deal process management. Validate target fit against GitLab's our target profile, product roadmap and other criteria, and build the acquisition rationale and business case. Drive our M&A process from intro call through the various steps through to closing and integration. Evaluate the deal. Develop valuation, commercial integrity assessment, impact on GitLab's business and provide negotiations assistance to the VP and the executive team. Lead cross-functional diligence. Run pre-LOI validation and diligence across Product, Engineering, Security, Finance, Legal and People, and communicate findings clearly. Drive deal documents with Legal. Prepare NDAs, LOIs and purchase agreements with GitLab Legal and outside counsel. Own integration outcomes. Lead post-acquisition integration as the DRI, measured against the roadmap and business goals in the business case. Bring lessons learned back into the strategy work. Build the external network. Maintain relationships with founders, executives, investors, bankers and advisors that bring us early insight and pipeline. What you'll bring Strategy and deal experience. 8+ years across corporate development, corporate strategy, strategy consulting or technology investing, including 5+ years leading acquisitions end to end in enterprise software. Structured strategic thinking. You form a point of view from incomplete information, test it against data, and change your mind when the evidence says so. You're as comfortable recommending that we stay out of a market as that we enter it. Market research depth. Skilled in market sizing, competitive analysis and landscape mapping, and in turning research into a recommendation, not a report. Deal craft. Skilled in valuation, financial modeling, deal structuring, negotiation and integration planning, with experience across varied consideration structures. Technical fluency. A working understanding of software development, DevSecOps and the AI landscape, enough to hold substantive conversations with product and engineering leaders about roadmaps and architecture. Clear executive communication. You write short, decision-ready updates and present trade-offs plainly to executives and the Board, in an async-first environment. Influence without authority. You build trust across Product, Engineering, Finance and Legal and move decisions forward across functions. Ownership with collaboration. You own the strategic view and the recommendation, and partner closely with the team's Analyst on research and analysis. Preferred: familiarity with the DevSecOps, security, AI and open source ecosystems. You value the all remote lifestyle and share our values . About the team The Corporate Development & Strategic Partnerships team helps GitLab decide how to grow beyond what we build on our own. We own inorganic strategy: acquisitions, strategic partnerships with hyperscalers and AI labs, and the research that tells us which to pursue and which to pass on. We work across Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal and the executive group. We set direction and do the detailed work ourselves, with a high degree of ownership and transparency in a fully remote, asynchronous environment.
