About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic is building AI systems that will shape the trajectory of one of the most consequential technologies in human history. That work requires physical infrastructure at significant scale, and building that infrastructure the right way means being a real, long-term partner to the communities where we operate.
We are looking for a Community Engagement Manager in Indiana and Kentucky to join our Public Policy team and serve as Anthropic's on-the-ground presence in the communities where our data centers are sited, built, and operated. This is not a communications role or a government affairs role, though you will do elements of both. It is a relationship role: your job is to make Anthropic a trusted, visible, and valued neighbor, from the earliest stages of site selection through construction and long-term operations.
You will be the connective tissue between Anthropic's Policy and Infrastructure teams and the local officials, community organizations, economic development partners, and residents who have a stake in what we build. You will surface concerns before they escalate, translate our technical and operational plans into clear local benefits, and build the coalitions that allow us to move quickly and responsibly. Because Anthropic's infrastructure footprint is still early in its growth, you will also help write the playbook: the processes you build in your first markets are the ones we will use as we expand.
You will travel regularly within Indiana and Kentucky, up to 50% of the time, and occasionally to other Anthropic data center markets.
Key responsibilities
Build and maintain trusted, sustained relationships with county commissioners and councils, Kentucky fiscal courts and judge-executives, mayors and city councils, plan commissions and zoning boards, state and regional economic development organizations, community groups, civic leaders, educational institutions, and workforce partners in the Indiana and Kentucky data center markets you cover
Develop and execute a community engagement strategy for each of your markets, spanning site selection, pre-development, construction, and ongoing operations
Build external coalitions, host education and listening sessions, and design local solutions that deliver real benefits to the communities where we operate
Represent Anthropic in public forums, town halls, planning hearings, community events, and local media
Monitor community sentiment and local political dynamics, and advise internal teams on risks, opportunities, and the right pace and posture for engagement
Partner with the Real Estate and Infrastructure team to bring community input into how projects are planned, communicated, and delivered, not just how they are announced
Work with the Communications team to develop proactive, locally relevant messaging
Coordinate charitable giving, community investment, and economic development commitments in your markets, including managing nonprofit partner relationships
Partner with the Energy and Sustainability team to explain our approach to environmental stewardship and respond to questions about power, water, and land use, including how large electricity needs are served by local utilities and rural electric cooperatives
Build a community engagement playbook and repeatable processes that scale as Anthropic's infrastructure footprint grows
Minimum qualifications
Experience in community affairs, public affairs, economic development, government relations, local or state government, or a closely related field
Direct experience working for or engaging with county and municipal governments and a broad set of community stakeholders on behalf of large infrastructure, construction, energy, or technology projects, with a working understanding of how local politics and community dynamics actually play out
A skilled relationship and coalition builder who earns trust with a diverse group of stakeholders, and who maintains relationships through difficult conversations
The ability to represent a company credibly in public settings, including town halls, hearings, and press interviews
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to turn a complex operational plan into plain language that a local official or reporter can understand and respond to
The ability to work independently, get up to speed quickly on complex policy issues, and manage multiple concurrent engagements across different markets without losing track of any of them
Based in Indiana or Kentucky or willing to relocate to one of them, and prepared to travel regularly across both states
Preferred qualifications
7+ years of experience in community engagement specifically on data center, utility, energy, or large-scale industrial infrastructure projects, or in local government
Familiarity with land use, zoning, and permitting processes at the county and municipal level in Indiana and/or Kentucky, including local tax abatement and incentive approvals
Experience managing corporate social responsibility programs
Established relationships with economic development, workforce, or civic organizations in the markets this role covers
Experience working with real estate, legal, communications, and policy teams at the same time
A genuine interest in the communities where you work, not just the projects you are managing

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Anthropic manages one of the largest and fastest-growing infrastructure fleets in the industry — spanning multiple accelerator families, cpu families and clouds. The Capacity Engineering team is responsible for making sure all our infrastructure resources are accounted for, well-utilized, and efficiently allocated. We own the data, tooling, and operational systems that let Anthropic plan, measure, and maximize utilization across first-party and third-party compute.
As an engineer on Capacity Engineering, you will build the production systems that power this work: data pipelines that ingest and normalize telemetry from heterogeneous cloud environments, observability tooling that gives the org real-time visibility into fleet health, and performance instrumentation that measures how efficiently every major workload uses the hardware it’s running on. You will be expected to write production-quality code every day, operate alongside Kubernetes-native infrastructure at meaningful scale, and directly influence decisions around one of Anthropic’s largest areas of spend.
You’ll collaborate closely with research engineering, infrastructure, inference, and finance teams. The work requires someone who can move between data engineering, systems engineering, and observability with comfort — and who thrives in a high-autonomy, high-ambiguity environment.
This is a pipeline role feeding four areas.
Depending on your background and business priority, you’ll focus primarily in one, but the boundaries are fluid and the problems overlap:
Data platform
Pipelines that ingest occupancy and utilization telemetry from Kubernetes clusters, normalize billing and usage across cloud providers, and serve the BigQuery tables the rest of the org queries against. Correctness, completeness, and latency are the job, not a footnote. Consumers range from research engineers to finance to leadership, so it's product work as much as engineering: defining schema contracts, making data discoverable, and figuring out what people actually need.
Planning
Knowing what the fleet has, where it's going, and what's in the way. Making the state of the fleet legible and actionable in real time: cluster health tooling, capacity planning platforms, alerting on occupancy drops and allocation problems, and systemic fixes to scheduling and fragmentation. Kubernetes operations on one side, cross-team coordination on the other.
Efficiency
Measuring and improving how effectively every major workload uses the hardware it runs on. Instrumenting utilization across training, inference, and eval systems, building benchmarking infrastructure, establishing per-config baselines, and working directly with system-owning teams to close the gaps. The metric has to be good enough that the team on the hook for it agrees with the number.
Attribution and forecasting
Connecting what the fleet costs to what the business is doing with it. Reconciling CSP billing exports against vendor telemetry and internal systems with mismatched schemas, attributing spend to the workloads and teams that generate it, and turning inference demand signals and research roadmaps into a defensible compute plan. Efficiency metrics have to survive contact with finance: stripped of pure demand and unit-price effects, reproducible month over month, and legible to a CFO.
Key responsibilities
Build the planning and allocation stack — the tools leadership uses to allocate capacity, teams use to plan against their allocations, and the scheduler enforces. Cross-region and cross-provider placement, guardrails, queueing, occupancy KPIs.
Drive the efficiency programs: stranding and rightsizing, unused capacity recovery, and job-level utilization across training, inference, and eval. Establish per-config baselines and work with system-owning teams to close the gaps. Utilization improvements are worth enormous sums at our scale.
Own attribution and forecasting — reconcile billing across ten-plus providers against telemetry and internal systems, attribute spend to the workloads that generate it, and turn demand signals and research roadmaps into a defensible compute plan and supply pipeline.
Build the data platform underneath all of it: pipelines ingesting occupancy, utilization, and cost from a rapidly diversifying fleet into BigQuery, with real ownership of completeness, latency SLOs, and gap detection. Every new provider is a net-new integration.
Operate Kubernetes-native systems at scale — collection agents, workload labeling, and the taint/reservation/scheduling behavior that determines what capacity is actually usable.
Treat the output as a product, not a pipeline. Gather your own requirements, define schema contracts, and design for consumers ranging from research engineers to a CFO — including on-call and SLOs, because these surfaces are load-bearing for the company.
What you bring
A strong track record building and operating production systems. This is a hands-on engineering role with a devops flavor.
Python and SQL at production quality. Most pipeline code is Python; the presentation layer is BigQuery SQL, including table-valued functions and views. Both need to be idiomatic, well-tested, and maintainable.
Deep experience with at least one major cloud provider (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure) and its operations
Experience with observability tooling stack, including Prometheus, PromQL, and Grafana, including writing recording rules and building monitoring that engineering teams rely on.
Ability to gather your own requirements and work across organizational boundaries in an ambiguous environment with limited direction.
Preferred qualifications
Experience with capacity planning, resource management, or cost attribution systems at a hyperscaler or in a large-scale machine learning environment. Time spent in product engineering and developer experience absolutely counts here.
Scheduling and packing efficiency experience, or profiling-driven optimization of large distributed workloads.
Multi-cloud data ingestion experience, especially normalizing billing exports, reservation APIs, on-demand capacity reservations, commitments, and vendor telemetry from providers with different billing arrangements.
Total cost of ownership and forecasting experience, including decomposing whether infrastructure growth is causal or correlated with business drivers.
Accelerator infrastructure familiarity. GPU metrics (DCGM), TPU utilization, Trainium power and utilization metrics, or experience with machine learning training and inference systems at the hardware level.
Experience building internal data products with self-service access, schema contracts, API serving, documentation, and discoverability. Not just pipelines, but thinking about how the data gets consumed.
Storage efficiency, retention, and lifecycle program experience at exabyte scale.

As an Integrity and Authenticity Policy Manager, you will be responsible for developing, refining, and maintaining policies that prevent the misuse of AI systems for deception, manipulation, and unauthorized monitoring at scale. You will serve as the policy owner for risks related to inauthentic behavior, influence activity, surveillance, and the profiling of individuals and groups, and you will help shape policy frameworks across several areas, including authenticity, information integrity, and privacy and surveillance.
Your initial focus will be on translating the Integrity and Authenticity risk framework into clear, enforceable policies, ensuring policy language addresses emerging threats identified by partner teams, and establishing guidelines that enable consistent enforcement decisions. Many of the most serious harms in this space begin with upstream steps that look routine on their own, such as compiling records about a person, automating account creation, or sorting users by inferred identity. Part of your work will be defining where those steps become prohibited. The role will expand as AI capabilities advance. Safety is core to our mission. You will help ensure our products cannot be used to deceive people at scale, monitor and profile people without their knowledge or consent, or sort and target populations based on sensitive characteristics.
Important context for this role: In this position you may be exposed to and engage with explicit content spanning a range of topics, including those of a sexual, violent, or psychologically disturbing nature, as well as detailed descriptions of privacy violations, surveillance abuses, and deceptive campaigns targeting vulnerable people.
Key responsibilities
Develop and define policy boundaries for covert monitoring, tracking, and surveillance across different contexts, drawing the distinction between malicious behaviors and compliant dual-use scenarios
Write policy guidance on facial recognition, voice cloning, and geolocation inference, specifying which uses require consent and which are prohibited outright
Map the surveillance lifecycle, from target selection and data collection through analysis and covert deployment, and define the policy line at each stage so that interventions can occur early in the chain
Design and oversee evaluations that measure the model's capability to support social media monitoring, people-finding, predictive profiling, and the identification or tracking of specific people, to build, develop and improve safeguards with cross-functional partners to prevent malicious behaviors
Write and refine external-facing Usage Policy language and develop training guidelines, assessment rubrics, and evaluation protocols for enforcement teams, with emphasis on indicators of covert monitoring and population-level targeting
Validate enforcement decisions and automated assessments, provide policy guidance on complex edge cases such as investigative research into surveillance tools, coordinate with civil society, privacy experts, threat intelligence researchers, and academics, and serve as the escalation point for complex integrity and surveillance cases
Minimum qualifications
Working knowledge of how deceptive campaigns and covert monitoring operate in practice, including account networks, bot operations, data aggregation pipelines, and attribution methods
Familiarity with surveillance technologies and their misuse, including social media monitoring tools, people-search services, location tracking, spyware, facial recognition, and open-source intelligence techniques used against individuals
General knowledge of the global regulatory landscape around data protection, privacy, platform regulation, and digital services accountability
Strong policy writing skills, with the ability to translate complex threat frameworks into clear, enforceable guidelines
Experience designing policies and workflows that enable both clear human enforcement decision-making and technical implementation in ML classifiers and detection pipelines
Strong collaboration skills and extensive experience partnering with Engineering, Data Science, Legal, Threat Intelligence, and Policy teams on cross-functional initiatives
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain deceptive tactics, surveillance methods, and policy rationales to diverse audiences, including non-specialists and policymakers
Preferred qualifications
5+ years of experience in policy development, trust and safety, threat intelligence, or platform integrity, with hands-on work on inauthentic behavior, surveillance-related abuse, or data misuse
Experience in privacy policy, privacy engineering, or data protection work, including familiarity with privacy impact assessments and data minimization principles
Experience in intelligence roles, state-aligned monitoring operations, or covert data collection campaigns
Experience investigating inauthentic networks, covert monitoring, or surveillance abuses at a platform, research organization, or government body
Background in digital forensics, open-source intelligence, or threat attribution
Knowledge of persuasion theory, cognitive biases, and deceptive communication techniques, including social engineering and pretexting methods
Familiarity with human rights and privacy frameworks as they apply to surveillance, including protections for journalists, activists, and marginalized communities
Experience with trust and safety operations involving content moderation evasion, bot detection, or platform scraping enforcement
Experience working with EU institutions, regulatory bodies, or policy organizations on AI governance or digital platform regulation
Experience conducting adversarial testing, red teaming, or vulnerability assessments for AI systems or platforms, particularly for misuse involving monitoring or profiling
Familiarity with generative AI capabilities and an understanding of how LLMs can be used for synthetic personas, social engineering, predictive profiling, or surveillance at scale

About The Anthropic Institute
The Anthropic Institute (TAI) is a function within Anthropic that works to advance the public conversation around AI.
The Institute is comprised of research teams tackling some of AI's most consequential societal challenges: the Frontier Red Team, which stress tests our systems against catastrophic risks; Societal Impacts, which studies how Claude is used by millions of people; Economic Research, which tracks AI's impact on people's jobs and the larger economy; the Rule of Law team, which studies AI's impacts to democracy; and more.
The Institute's mission is to reduce information asymmetries between Anthropic and the outside world, name and answer the hard questions implied by powerful AI systems, and publish these findings so that policymakers, researchers, technology leaders, and the public can reckon with what's here and what's to come.
About the role
The role.
You will build and lead the Institute’s tabletop exercise program and the team that runs it. Based on trends visible in the exponential and in consultation with technical experts, you will set the research agenda: which questions the exercises should answer, which scenarios to run, with which audiences, and what each run is meant to test. You will own the methods that make results comparable across runs and turn them into findings people outside the room can use. You will hire and manage a team plus a bench of facilitators, and you will be the program’s public voice.
Why tabletop exercises?
If RSI arrives, the hardest problems will be about making decisions under uncertainty. The people making them may not trust each other, and the authorities they work under may not be fit-for-purpose. A tabletop exercise (TTX) allows the people who would face that situation practice it before it is real. It also shows us what tools and information they reach for, including what they would need that does not exist yet.
Tabletop exercises are also a research method. You can run the same scenario many times, with different groups of people (and with many more AI agents playing in silico), and you start to see the distribution of decisions people make. This is one of the few ways to generate empirical evidence about the future, i.e., how people and institutions will respond to situations that have not happened yet.
Key responsibilities
Set the program’s research agenda: the questions exercises should answer, the scenarios to run, and the audience for each
Design exercises as empirical studies: define what each run tests, standardize scenarios and data capture so results are comparable, and use repeated play to map the range of outcomes
Build the program’s measurement: pre- and post-exercise assessments, decision logs, transcript analysis and after-action reports
Turn results into findings: publish on what the exercises show, and brief senior people inside and outside Anthropic on the gaps they expose
Hire, manage and develop a team and a bench of facilitators
Make the program scalable: maintain a library of tested scenarios that the team reuses most of the time, refreshed on a regular cadence so they stay timely
Build a facilitator kit ("TTX in a box") so other internal teams or external partners can run exercises to the same standard
Create and direct the tools behind the exercises, including Claude-driven simulations that generate a live outside-world feed during play
Minimum qualifications
Have designed and run tabletop exercises, wargames, or simulations for senior decision-makers and published on the subject
Have training in a discipline that uses simulation, experimental methods or structured analysis
Have 10+ years of experience in national security, government, technology policy, or strategy
Can keep the scenarios technically grounded with a strong grasp of AI capabilities and safety research
Have managed a team, including hiring, setting direction, giving feedback and developing people
Use Claude and other AI tools extensively in your own work
Care about AI safety and Anthropic's public benefit mission
Preferred qualifications
Published research on wargaming methods, simulation or crisis decision-making
Run exercises that fed into real policy or crisis-response decisions
Run multi-iteration or experimental wargames and analyzed results across runs
Used AI agents or language models as players, adjudicators or analysts in simulations
Led a research program or team through a period of growth
Existing relationships across national security, government, policy and AI, and are trusted in those communities
Published widely read work on AI, emerging technology, strategy or crisis decision-making

Accelerating scientific discovery is a core part of Anthropic's mission, and we believe the highest-leverage path to this is enabling researchers externally to use Claude effectively for their work. This involves communicating Claude’s rapidly improving scientific capabilities through outreach and editorial programs, as well as putting Claude in the hands of researchers through grants, ergonomic research tools, and access programs that help scientists do more with AI than was previously possible.
We’re hiring a Technical Program Manager to be the bridge between the researchers advancing Claude’s scientific capabilities and the outside scientific community. Embedded with the Discovery team, you’ll conceptualize and run the programs that get Claude into scientists’ hands and shape the Anthropic Science Blog, working with Communications, Editorial, Beneficial Deployments, and external partners such as universities, funders, and scientific societies.
This is a technical role, not a purely operational one. These programs already have strong operational and editorial owners. You bring research taste and a firsthand understanding of how academia works, so we’re looking for someone who has been a researcher themselves, ideally through a postdoc or beyond. You’ll have significant autonomy: once aligned with Discovery’s leads on strategy, you’ll drive decisions on what we fund, what we publish, and how we engage with academic communities
Key responsibilities
Act as the interface between research and the outside world.
Stay close to the researchers working on Claude's scientific capabilities and translate rapid capability gain into use by external researchers.
Help set Anthropic’s external science strategy.
Recommend which scientific areas and communities we focus on, and how our programs, collaborations, and communications fit together
Guide the scientific direction of the
Anthropic Science Blog
.
Work with researchers and the Editorial team to identify and source stories internal and external stories worth telling, draft and edit posts, and keep a steady cadence of high-quality science writing.
Drive forward external science programs.
Design, launch, and run grants and access programs such as AI for Science grants and Team plan offerings for research groups, as well as partnerships with scientific foundations and grantmaking organizations. Work with Beneficial Deployments on programs aimed at the highest-impact scientific areas.
Gather feedback from scientific communities.
Identify usage patterns and gather feedback on how researchers use Claude and what capability gaps exist, and turn it into concrete recommendations for research and product teams.
Minimum qualifications
A PhD in a scientific or mathematical field, with a track record of original research
Demonstrated writing ability for both scientific domain and general-interest audiences, with enough understanding of how modern AI models are trained to write about them accurately.
Experience with the grants process, such as applying for and managing competitive funding, and ideally designing, reviewing, or administering funding programs
Deep engagement with frontier AI: you use these tools in your own work, understand where they're strong and where they fail, and take seriously the possibility that AI will transform every face of the scientific process within the next few years
Track record of driving multi-stakeholder projects to completion, and of coordinating people who are juggling other high-priority work. You’re resourceful, high-agency, and able to navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities.
Credibility with researchers: you can talk to scientists as a peer and understand how academic communities work, including their incentives, norms, and sensitivities
Fast learner who builds deep contextual understanding in unfamiliar scientific domains and can contribute meaningfully to discussions with researchers outside your own field.
Preferred qualifications
Experience as a program officer, program director, or fellowship lead at a science funder, research agency, or philanthropy
Published science writing in outlets such as Quanta, Scientific American, or Physics Today, or a substantial public writing presence such as a blog or newsletter
Research experience that uses AI or ML methods, or that involves building scientific software, tools, or datasets
Experience building partnerships with scientific societies, journals, or research institutions
Familiarity with AI safety and responsible deployment, including dual-use considerations in fields like biology
Experience organizing conferences, workshops, or large coordinated launches

Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the Role
Anthropic's Executive Briefing program brings senior leaders from our most strategic customers together with our spokespeople, product leaders, and researchers. As a Program Manager, Executive Briefings, you will run the program at one of our briefing centers and help build the global operating model that ensures an exceptional and consistent experience across the globe.
You will be the main program lead for your location and own briefings end to end: qualification and intake, agenda design, speaker selection, and day-of execution. You will set the objectives and design for each agenda and develop it jointly with Sales. You will also be the local account teams' go-to partner on how to use a briefing to move their most important opportunities forward.
You will manage the global workstream and set the standard every center follows, so customers get the same quality of briefing wherever they meet us. This is a highly cross-functional role. You will work with regional GTM leadership and the Office of the CCO on account selection and program strategy, with Product Marketing on content, with Solutions on technical deep-dives and demos, with Anthropic's executive bench on sponsorship and participation, and with Workplace, Security, and Revenue Operations on the experience and systems behind every briefing. You will be comfortable running every part of a briefing yourself and maintaining tight alignment with internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
Own the Executive Briefing program at your location: the local calendar, capacity planning, the request and intake process from Sales, and operating SLAs, applied against global criteria and regional allocation
Work with regional GTM leadership to decide which strategic accounts receive a briefing each quarter, hold the qualification bar, and proactively surface accounts that should be engaged
Lead discovery with account teams before each briefing to understand the customer's objectives, business context, and stage of evaluation, and turn that into a tailored agenda
Own agenda design and co-own agenda development with Sales for every briefing, including the narrative arc, discussion topics, speakers, and demos
Build and manage the speaker bench for your location: identify, source, and match speakers to briefings, run prep, and manage capacity so no one is over-asked
Own day-of orchestration and the customer experience standard at your center, in partnership with Workplace on logistics
Contribute to the playbooks, tooling, and best practices that let the program scale consistently across centers while allowing for regional nuance
Share intake and triage on a rotation across time zones so every request gets a decision within the defined SLA
Maintain one source of truth for criteria, lead times, and process so account teams get one answer
Own measurement and reporting for your center and contribute to global reporting on briefing volume, capacity and allocation, strategic-account coverage, and program-influenced pipeline and expansion
Onboard and coach briefing team members and contractors across locations
Minimum qualifications
Experience running executive briefings, customer events, or a comparable program for senior external audiences
Program management skills, including intake and prioritization, capacity planning, and managing multiple concurrent programs against SLAs
Experience designing agendas and facilitating discussions with C-level or other senior customer audiences
Experience building processes, playbooks, or tooling that help a program operate consistently
Ability to track, report on, and communicate program metrics such as volume, coverage, and pipeline influence
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to partner credibly with field leadership, executives, and internal subject matter experts
Work on site at your briefing center when briefings take place
Preferred qualifications
6+ years of experience building or scaling an executive briefing program, or a similar customer-facing program, at an enterprise technology company
Experience in a high-volume briefing environment
Experience with CRM and reporting tools such as Salesforce, and with connecting program activity to pipeline and expansion outcomes
Experience identifying and surfacing speakers for the speaker bench and managing speaker capacity across product, research, and executive teams
Experience working across time zones or across multiple sites to set one global standard
Experience onboarding or coaching new team members or contractors
Familiarity with AI products and how enterprises evaluate and adopt them
Interest in Anthropic's mission to build AI that is safe and beneficial

Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.

Workplace: Hybrid
In 2026, we launched Computer, the defining product for the new era of agentic AI. Millions of people now use Perplexity to transform knowledge into action, and a growing share of them meet us first on their phone. The Growth team owns the product loops that help people discover, adopt, and build lasting habits around our most important AI experiences — and on mobile that means owning everything from the App Store listing to the first task a user finishes to the moment they upgrade.
As an Android growth engineer at Perplexity, you'll work across the full mobile funnel — install, activation, onboarding, push and lifecycle messaging, conversion, retention, and in-app purchase moments — for Perplexity, Comet, and Computer on Android. Engineers are responsible for end-to-end projects: rebuilding onboarding as a series of experiments, wiring in-app purchase and paywall surfaces to our billing systems, shipping notification experiences people actually keep enabled, and turning ASO and deep-link work into measurable adoption.
Growth at Perplexity goes beyond incremental funnel optimization. The team sits close to the core product — we translate behavioral signals, model outputs, and fast experimentation into durable product surfaces used across consumer and enterprise workflows. You'll move fast, run many experiments in parallel, and own the outcome end-to-end, while respecting the constraints mobile brings: release cycles, store review, and version fragmentation.
WHY PERPLEXITY IS DIFFERENT
- Craftsmanship. We build high quality, tasteful products targeting both the AI native and AI curious.
- Ownership. You identify the problem, design the solution and ship it.
- Entrepreneurship. We think like founders, act with urgency, and hustle to deliver for each other and our users.
- Scholarship. Work among highly talented peers, pursuing knowledge and truth, upleveling ourselves, our teams, and our products.
- Partnership. We amplify each others' strengths, break down silos, and give selflessly to help our colleagues deliver excellence.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design, build, and own growth surfaces across the mobile funnel — install, activation, onboarding, lifecycle, conversion, retention, and paid upgrade moments — on Android.
- Lead experiments end-to-end, from hypothesis and instrumentation through implementation, analysis, and rollout, shipping many in parallel despite app release cadence. Build the flag-driven and server-driven patterns that let us test without waiting on a store release.
- Own in-app purchase and paywall surfaces: billing integrations, subscription and credit purchase flows, entitlement correctness, and pricing and packaging experiments.
- Build push and lifecycle notification experiences that earn their opt-in — permission prompts, targeting, timing, deep links back into the right task, and the instrumentation to prove they drive retention rather than churn.
- Make cross-platform surfaces feel native. Partner with web and design engineers so onboarding, upsells, and in-task nudges are consistent across web, iOS, and Android
- Partner with rest of Growth to optimize app store performance and attribution
- Hill-climb on the metrics that matter: install-to-activation, D1/D7/D30 retention, notification opt-in and engagement, paid conversion, and habit formation, instrumented with clean data and trustworthy experiment readouts.
- Partner closely with Product, Design, Data Science, Monetization, Marketing, and the core Mobile team to translate behavioral signals into durable product surfaces.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of professional mobile engineering experience shipping consumer apps at meaningful scale on Android.
- Strong native skills — Kotlin/Jetpack Compose — and the willingness to flex into other parts of the stack to unblock yourself and others.
- Experience owning a full release cycle: build and release tooling, phased rollouts, store review, crash and regression monitoring, and rolling back safely.
- Strong execution: you ship many experiments and product improvements in parallel and drive them to a clear outcome.
- Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation platforms (Eppo, Statsig, Optimizely, or in-house equivalents) especially inside a versioned app.
- Comfort data-informed decision-making — you can pull, segment, and interpret your own funnel data.
- Strong product judgment; you translate user behavior and growth opportunities into simple, effective technical solutions.
- Self-motivated with strong ownership instincts; you propose experiments, ship features ahead of schedule, and drive improvements without asking for permission.
- Genuine interest and adoption of AI products and willingness to learn quickly.
NICE TO HAVE
- Direct experience on a growth or experimentation-heavy team
- Deep experience with in-app payments
- Experience with mobile attribution and measurement stacks (AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch) and paid mobile acquisition.
- ASO experience, including store listing experiments and localized metadata.
- Comfort reaching into the backend or web stack to unblock yourself end-to-end.
- Time spent at a fast-growing startup or on a high-ownership engineering team.

The Customer Experience team at 1Password designs digital-first experiences that help customers deploy, activate, and grow with confidence. As a Senior Digital Customer Success Campaign Manager, you will own and evolve our digital customer success programs across the customer lifecycle. You will design, build, and optimize targeted digital journeys that help customers move from onboarding through activation and beyond. This role blends program strategy, campaign execution, analytics, experimentation, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver measurable customer impact at scale.
This is an individual contributor role for someone who enjoys building programs from the ground up, working through ambiguity, and improving digital-first customer experiences in a fast-changing environment. Reporting into the Senior Manager, Digital Customer Success, this is a remote role within North America.
How we’re using AI today
Across GTM, we’re transforming the way we work with AI. We expect every seller, CSM, and team member to become a power user, using it daily to work smarter and move faster. AI is already embedded in how we operate – from real-time coaching that sharpens how we sell and interact with customers, to surfacing insights that help us anticipate needs – creating more time for meaningful customer engagement. If you’re excited to reshape how you think, make decisions, and drive growth with AI, you’ll feel right at home here.
Note: All go-to market roles will have an in-person onboarding in Toronto.
What we're looking for:
- 6+ years of experience in Digital Customer Success, Customer Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing, Growth Operations, Customer Success Operations, Product-Led Growth, or a related Software as a Service environment.
- Demonstrated success building and owning lifecycle or digital success programs with measurable business impact.
- Experience creating scalable campaigns, workflows, or journeys rather than managing a book of business.
- Strong understanding of the customer lifecycle, including onboarding, activation, adoption, retention, expansion, renewal, and risk management motions.
- Ability to interpret customer and product signals, identify patterns, and translate them into clear campaign strategies and measurable interventions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create concise, effective messaging for different customer audiences and personas.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Gainsight, Salesforce, Marketo, Outreach, or similar customer success and marketing automation platforms.
- Experience collaborating across Customer Success, Product, Support, Operations, Marketing, Content, and Data teams to ensure alignment across the customer journey.
- Comfort working in changing environments where teams are building new programs, processes, and operating models from the ground up.
- Preferred: experience using Artificial Intelligence tools to support program design, experimentation, and campaign optimization; experience with 1Password and/or cybersecurity is also valued.
What you can expect:
- Design, launch, and improve digital customer success campaigns and programs across onboarding, activation, adoption, and growth stages.
- Build scalable customer journeys that help customers reach key milestones using content-led interventions and targeted human engagement when needed.
- Identify customer signals, behaviors, milestones, and friction points that indicate progress, risk, or opportunity across the lifecycle.
- Translate customer and product insights into triggered programs and campaigns that guide customers to the right next step using existing resources and tools.
- Draft, edit, and optimize customer-facing communications, including email campaigns, journey messaging, and supporting content.
- Monitor program performance using metrics such as activation, deployment, engagement, retention, expansion, churn, and content interaction to evaluate effectiveness.
- Use testing methods such as A/B testing, cohort analysis, and message iteration to improve campaign tone, timing, targeting, and outcomes.
- Partner with Data, Product, Customer Success Operations, Customer Experience Content, and Voice of Customer teams to align digital programs with customer insights and business priorities.
- Build dashboards and reporting to track program health, surface insights, and recommend improvements to digital-first customer experiences.
- Use Artificial Intelligence tools and emerging technologies to accelerate campaign creation, analysis, experimentation, and optimization.

We are looking for a Community Engagement Manager in Montana and Utah to join our Public Policy team and serve as Anthropic's on-the-ground presence in the communities where our data centers are sited, built, and operated.
You will travel regularly within Montana and Utah, up to 50% of the time, often over long distances, and occasionally to other Anthropic data center markets.
Key responsibilities
Build and maintain trusted, sustained relationships with county commissioners, mayors and city and town councils, planning and zoning bodies, state economic development agencies (such as Montana's Department of Commerce and Utah's Governor's Office of Economic Opportunity), community groups, civic leaders, educational institutions, and workforce partners in the Montana and Utah data center markets you cover
Engage respectfully and meaningfully with Tribal governments and Native communities in Montana and Utah, recognizing Tribal sovereignty, building sustained relationships, and supporting consultation and partnership efforts related to our projects
Partner with the Energy and Sustainability team to explain our approach to environmental stewardship and respond to questions about power, water, and land use, including water availability and water rights in a dry climate and how rural electric cooperatives and utilities would serve large electricity needs

Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Anthropic’s Applied AI team helps the world’s largest organizations put Claude to work. As a Cybersecurity Specialist on Applied AI, you’ll be part of an overlay team of domain experts who sit alongside our enterprise account teams and bring deep security expertise to the accounts where it matters most.
You won’t own an account. You’ll be the security expert the account team pulls in to win and grow the most important security conversations: helping CISOs and security leaders see where Claude can take on real security work, then guiding them from early pilots to durable, production workloads. You’ll cover a portfolio of enterprise accounts across regulated industries like financial services, insurance, and healthcare, strategic accounts like semiconductors (IP protection, industrial control systems, export controls), and digital natives and public sector agencies, each with its own threat model.
How this team works
You partner with account executives, account architects, and generalist Applied AI engineers, who own the customer relationship and the broader technical engagement. You bring the security depth they don’t have time to build.
You work across many accounts at once, so the playbooks, reference implementations, and evaluation approaches you build are reused across the field, not just for one customer.
You are the connection point between the field and Anthropic’s Product, Research, and Engineering teams, turning what you see in customer security programs into product feedback.
You work alongside ISVs, systems integrators, and managed security providers who already serve these customers, enabling them where they own the engagement rather than competing with them.
Responsibilities
Join account teams to understand a customer’s security program, identify where Claude can do meaningful security work, and turn that into a technical plan and business case
Serve as the security-domain technical advisor on strategic enterprise accounts, from discovery through deployment
Move customers from one-time code scanning to sustained security workloads: application security in the SDLC, continuous automated penetration testing, alert triage and investigation, and threat intelligence that answers “does this new vulnerability affect us, and where”
Build and maintain reference implementations, harnesses, and evaluation approaches, and help customers adapt them to their own environments and controls
Run workshops and hands-on sessions where customer security teams use Claude on their own code and workflows
Equip partners to deliver Claude-powered security outcomes, with a clear line between what Anthropic delivers and what partners deliver
Speak credibly to every audience, from appsec engineers to CISOs and executives, including how to explain the value and risk of security work in business terms
Define and track adoption depth for each security workload across your accounts, and work with Product and Engineering on the telemetry to measure it
Write the playbooks and best practices the rest of the field can reuse, including how Claude complements the security tooling customers already own
Develop reference customers who can speak to the value they’re realizing
Stay current on frontier LLM capabilities and the new classes of vulnerabilities and attacks they surface
Travel occasionally to customer sites for workshops and technical deep dives
You may be a good fit if you have
5+ years in security roles, with hands-on depth in at least two of: application security and secure SDLC, offensive security and penetration testing, detection and response, or threat intelligence and vulnerability management
Experience in a technical customer-facing role (Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, security consultant, TAM), or on a security team where you had to win investment from leadership
Experience with large enterprise customers and complex, multi-stakeholder buying cycles, including working alongside the vendors and partners already in the account
The ability to translate between security teams, engineering teams, and executives
Comfort with Python, CI/CD, and cloud environments, plus hands-on experience using LLMs for security work such as code review, vulnerability discovery, triage, or investigation
A love of teaching and a collaborative approach to working across teams and balancing competing priorities
