About us
Aave Labs began with a simple question: how do we make financial services like borrowing, saving, and earning more accessible globally?
We built the Aave Protocol, now the world’s largest and most trusted onchain lending market, connecting decentralized finance with individuals, traditional finance, and fintech.
Today, we build trusted, high-quality products that expand access to lending, credit, and savings globally
Our culture
We build trusted products that help people access and discover economic opportunities.
We hold a high bar for quality and craftsmanship. No detail is too small. Trust depends on it.
We’re a global team building products people can actually use, turning complex technology into something simple and reliable.
We stay aligned, move quickly, and think long term, while keeping teams lean and focused on impact.
About the Role
We're looking for a Staff Frontend Engineer who operates across the full picture - someone who deeply understands how great web interfaces are built and how they perform, works autonomously, and translates that knowledge into exceptional web products and design systems.
Financial products are complex. Our users range from first-timers to power users, and the challenge of making that experience clear, fast, and trustworthy is one we take seriously. At this level, you're not just executing - you're bringing product intuition to the work, identifying where things break down, and making calls that shape the direction of what we build.
How you can make an impact:
Work autonomously across our web products, building high-quality UI with a strong point of view on how it should feel, function, and perform
Own and evolve complex, reusable components within the Aave design system - setting the standard for quality and consistency
Set the bar for frontend performance, from data loading, fetching and caching patterns through to server rendering and streaming
Bring product-level thinking to everything you work on - understanding user needs, business context, and technical constraints, whilst balancing them well
Collaborate with our talented designers, engineers, and product leads to bring clarity to ambiguous problems
Help raise the bar for the team through the quality of your work and the way you approach problems
Let's connect if you have:
Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, CSS and system design and architecture
Deep experience with frontend performance engineering - measuring it, diagnosing it, and fixing it
Strong command of Next.js patterns for data loading, fetching and caching, and experience handling server rendering and streaming data to the frontend
Deep experience with component-driven design systems and component design patterns, and building for consistency at scale
The product sense to work without a detailed brief - you can identify what needs to be solved, not just how to solve it
A demonstrated ability to take complex UX problems - information-dense interfaces, multi-step flows, edge cases - and make them feel resolved and clear
Nice to haves:
An understanding of backend data handling
A feel for animation best practices when data is updating, and how that plays out in re-renders across a UI
Curiosity about web3 and DeFi is a plus; you don't need to be an expert, but genuine interest in the space goes a long way
Curiosity about AI and its use in product engineering and daily workflows
Haven’t quite met all the criteria? Let’s not miss out on the chance to speak. Whilst you might not meet every single requirement, you might bring other, more exciting skills to the companies!
Equal opportunities statement:
Aave Labs celebrates diversity and views each and every team member as a separate individual with their own unique identity. No matter your race, religion, gender, ethnicity, age, disability, sexual orientation or even the wallet you use, we welcome you at Aave Labs. As an equal opportunities employer, we take accountability and believe in everyone's potential to build, create and inspire changes. With a mission to build a diverse workforce, we are proud to foster a working environment in which everyone can feel safe and valued for who they are.

About Nebius:
Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure.
Built by engineers, for engineers. From large-scale GPU orchestration to inference optimization, we own the hard problems across compute, storage, networking and applied AI.
Listed on Nasdaq (NBIS) and headquartered in Amsterdam, we have a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, the UK, North America and Israel. Our team of 1,500+ includes hundreds of engineers with deep expertise across hardware, software and AI R&D.
The Product
In a rapidly evolving world, trust in AI depends on AI agents being grounded in fresh, verified real-world data. Search is the foundation that makes this possible.
We are building an agent-native search platform designed specifically for AI systems rather than human users. Our product provides programmatic, low-latency, and observable search APIs that AI agents use to retrieve, filter, and reason over real-world information at scale.
The Role
We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to work on the indexing and data processing layer of a novel search engine tailored for agentic AI consumption.
In this role, you will focus on building systems that ingest, process, and organise massive volumes of data into efficient, queryable structures. You will work primarily on offline and nearline pipelines, ensuring that data is fresh, complete, and efficiently accessible by downstream retrieval systems. You will operate in an environment where throughput, scalability, and correctness are critical; designing systems capable of handling tens of gigabytes per second across continuously evolving datasets.
In this position, your responsibility will be to:
Design, implement, and operate large-scale indexing systems and data pipelines that sit at the core of our search infrastructure
Develop and optimise indexing strategies balancing performance, freshness, and resource efficiency
Work on storage formats, compaction strategies, and update mechanisms to keep data accessible and current
Ensure reliability and predictability of pipelines under high-throughput conditions
Build well-tested components with clear responsibilities and interaction contracts, while remaining flexible as the system evolves
Define and implement observability primitives, including structured logs, metrics, and data quality signals across offline and nearline pipelines
Monitor throughput, resource usage, and cost, and drive optimisations when business needs require it
Collaborate with runtime and ML teams to ensure indexing outputs meet retrieval and ranking requirements
Enable safe experimentation on indexing strategies and data processing logic through controlled rollouts and clearly defined quality signals
You may be a good fit if you:
8+ years of experience building production backend or data infrastructure systems
Strong Go experience (C++/Rust is a plus)
Experience with large-scale data processing systems (10+ GiB/sec throughput, petabyte-scale datasets, etc.)
Experience building or operating databases, storage systems, data planes, or indexing pipelines
Strong understanding of distributed systems, fault tolerance, consistency, and scalability
Experience running production systems and handling operational incidents
Systems-thinking mindset and ability to reason about end-to-end data flows
Strong candidates may also have experience with:
Distributed data processing frameworks such as Spark, Flink, MapReduce, or Beam
Content systems including, scraping, proxying, or anti-bot infrastructure
Ad tech, social networks, or other large-scale content platforms
DBMS internals (open source or SaaS) and cloud infrastructure
Open-source contributions or active involvement in the engineering community
Competitive programming or CTF participation (ICPC, IOI, or similar)
SHAD or similar advanced technical programmes
Conference talks or technical publications
We conduct coding interviews as part of the process.
Benefits & Perks:
Competitive compensation
Career growth and learning opportunities
Flexibility and ownership
Collaborative and innovative culture
Opportunity to work on impactful AI projects
International environment and talented teams
What's it like to work at Nebius:
Fast moving - Bold thinking - Constant growth - Meaningful impact - Trust and real ownership - Opportunity to shape the future of AI
Equal Opportunity Statement:
Nebius is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace and to providing equal employment opportunities in all aspects of employment. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, ancestry, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the country in which they apply and will be required to provide proof of employment eligibility as a condition of hire.

Our product provides programmatic, low-latency, and observable search APIs that AI agents use to retrieve, filter, and reason over real-world information at scale.
The Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work on the rendering infrastructure of a novel search engine tailored for agentic AI consumption.
In this role, you will focus on loading modern web pages in a browser that we patch and build ourselves, so that content is rendered completely and reliably at a cost that works across billions of pages. You will work inside Chromium to remove what we do not need, make the rest faster and cheaper, and keep our build current as Chromium moves. Your work ensures that high-quality content is consistently available to the indexing and retrieval systems downstream.
In this position, your responsibility will be to
Change Chromium in its heavy core (Blink, the V8 integration, the compositor, the network service) to cut CPU, memory and startup cost per page
Strip Chromium down for agent workloads: skip what nobody needs, such as image and media decoding, web font downloads, and rasterization and GPU work where no one needs pixels, while keeping what page scripts depend on to run correctly (style, layout, animation frames, observers), and work out what breaks, or renders differently, when you do
Keep the browser compatible with the web: make sure that what we remove does not change how the sites we load behave or render
Profile and tune fleets of browsers: the process model, memory per renderer, startup, isolation and crash handling
Build the production system around it: how browsers are launched, pooled, recycled and monitored
You may be a good fit if you
Have 5+ years of experience building production systems, and are an expert in several of the following areas.
Inside the browser
Strong C++ in a large, performance-critical codebase, ideally Chromium, Blink or V8, or a comparable browser engine (Rust is a plus)
Chromium architecture: the process model, Mojo IPC, the rendering pipeline (DOM, style, layout, paint, compositing), and the network service
Building, debugging and shipping custom Chromium builds: the build system, tracing, crash analysis, and maintaining patches across releases
Performance and systems
Profiling CPU, memory and I/O for browser fleets, with tools such as perf, tracing and flame graphs
Linux process isolation and resource management, concurrency, and memory management
Have run browsers in production, or built the infrastructure that does, and can describe where the time and memory went
Strong candidates may also have experience with
Contributions to Chromium, Blink, V8, Firefox, WebKit or another browser engine
Building or maintaining a patched browser that you wrote the patches for
Browser instrumentation, including the Chrome DevTools Protocol
Working familiarity with how modern frontend frameworks render (SSR, CSR, streaming, hydration)
Distributed systems, Kubernetes, and Go or Python
The kind of problems you will work on
Cut the cost of loading a page in half. Where do CPU and memory go, and what would you change in the browser?
Turn off the GPU and image decoding for agent workloads. What breaks, and what changes in how pages load and render?
A page runs a script that never yields. How do we detect and stop it without help from the page?
Chromium ships a new version. How do we bring a large set of patches forward in days, not weeks?
Decide when a page is finished, for pages with analytics beacons, long polling and endless scrolling.
We conduct coding interviews as part of the process.
Benefits & Perks:
Competitive compensation
Career growth and learning opportunities
Flexibility and ownership
Collaborative and innovative culture
Opportunity to work on impactful AI projects
International environment and talented teams

ABOUT US:
AI NEEDS A NEW INFRASTRUCTURE LAYER. WE'RE BUILDING IT AT MODAL.
Every era of computing brought new workloads that previous infrastructure couldn't support: mainframes, databases, and the cloud. Each time, the company that rebuilt the layer underneath defined the decade. AI is no different, except it touches everything instead of one slice, and the window to build the layer underneath it is open right now.
Our customers include category-defining companies like Ramp https://modal.com/blog/how-ramp-built-a-full-context-background-coding-agent-on-modal, Cognition, DoorDash, and Suno. They rely on Modal for instant GPU access, sub-second container starts, and native storage, so it's simple to serve low-latency inference, fine-tune models, and access production-ready sandboxes at scale.

You’ll build and scale a global DevRel strategy that fosters deep engagement, advocacy, and love for Mistral’s models and technology. Your team will build communities and educate, excite, and empower developers to adopt, innovate, and evangelize Mistral’s technology—whether they’re startups, enterprises, researchers, or open-source contributors.
You’ll work closely with Product, Research, Engineering, Marketing, Communications, and more to ensure developers have the tools, resources, and inspiration they need to succeed with Mistral.

- Work with Product and Research teams to translate complex AI innovations into accessible, exciting, and actionable insights for developers.
Enable Developer Success, particularly for self-service adoption
- Build scalable enablement programs (e.g., onboarding guides, SDKs, APIs, sample projects) that reduce friction for developers adopting Mistral’s models.
- Create feedback loops between the developer community and Mistral’s Product/Engineering teams to shape the roadmap based on real-world needs.
Scale a World-Class DevRel Team
- Hire, mentor, and lead a global team of Developer Advocates, Engineers and Evangelists - with particular strength in Europe and San Francisco

- Lead from the front as a fantastic representative of Mistral at events, in social, and in project communities
Drive Open Source & Ecosystem Growth
- Champion open-source contributions and collaborative innovation around Mistral’s models.
- Partner with startups, enterprises, and academic institutions to accelerate adoption and co-innovation.

- Proven leadership in Developer Relations, Developer Marketing, or Technical Evangelism for a B2B technology company, preferably in AI, cloud, and open-source.
- Deep technical credibility—ability to engage with developers, scientists, and engineers on their terms (e.g., code, research, architecture).

ABOUT MOTHERDUCK
Don’t let the quirky name fool you: At MotherDuck, we’re on a mission to make data warehousing fun, frictionless, and ducking awesome for developers and data practitioners building blazing fast internal and customer-facing analytics experiences. We're building a cloud-hosted version of DuckDB, working hand-in-hand with the creators of the fastest-growing and fastest-improving query engine on the planet. Unlike other databases, MotherDuck was architected to unify local development with cloud operations to bridge the gap between software and data engineering workflows. Our team is a mix of thoughtful, passionate, and empathetic data industry veterans.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Database team is the bridge between DuckDB and the cloud. We own the core server and client extension logic that lets DuckDB run seamlessly, whether it's local or in the cloud, and we work in C++ right alongside the DuckDB codebase itself. Our mission is to push the boundaries of embedded database performance, distributed execution, and user experience, all while staying closely connected to DuckDB Labs (the team behind DuckDB) to align on APIs and shape what's next.
Day to day, we drive major projects in dual execution, resource assignment, and system reliability, while also handling incoming issues and lending our DuckDB expertise to other teams. We collaborate closely across MotherDuck and with the wider DuckDB community, making sure people get the best of both local and cloud worlds. It's a small, high-agency team with big ambitions... the kind of place where engineers own impactful projects, share what they learn, and help shape how modern analytics gets built.
This role is ideally based in Amsterdam or Berlin, but we are also open to great candidates remotely in Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own major projects in our dual execution stack, so DuckDB can process queries seamlessly whether they're running locally or in the cloud.
- Help build a cloud platform that dynamically assigns resources, so DuckDB stays efficient whether someone's running a tiny workload or pushing our biggest, highest-memory instances.
- Lead cross-functional work with our frontend, platform, and infrastructure teams to keep the user experience coherent end to end.
- Push the state of the art in embedded database performance, distributed execution, and DuckDB internals.
- Deepen your DuckDB expertise and share it with the rest of the company through mentorship and documentation.
- Work directly with our support team to debug issues, learn from real usage patterns, and prioritize the improvements that matter most.
- Improve systems holistically... spotting architectural challenges early and clearing bottlenecks before they become problems.
- Mentor teammates and help raise the bar for engineering practices across the team.
- Work closely with DuckDB Labs (which grew out of the Database Architectures group at CWI, where vectorized execution and DuckDB were born) to help align on APIs and shape where DuckDB goes next.
WHAT YOU BRING
- You've built and shipped complex backend systems, and you know what great looks like.
- You're fluent in a backend language like C++, Rust, Java, or similar systems languages, and you're comfortable working close to the metal. (C++ and Rust are the biggest plus here, and we love a great Java engineer too.)
- A good foundation in query engines, execution plans, indexing, and performance optimization techniques.
- Hands-on experience with DuckDB is a huge plus, no matter what level you're coming in at.
- You've worked with cloud infrastructure, networking, and building low-latency distributed systems.
- You can scope and lead projects that span multiple collaborators and cross-functional dependencies.
- You take pride in clear thinking, careful design, and thoughtful tradeoffs.
- You're comfortable mentoring peers and helping build a collaborative, high-agency environment.
- You enjoy engaging with the wider community, whether that's open-source conversations or working directly with DuckDB Labs.
WHAT WE PROVIDE
- The opportunity to participate and contribute to DuckDB, one of most popular modern open source analytical databases.
- Competitive salary and stock options so you have a stake in our flock’s success.
- Flexible time off – take the time you need to recharge, explore, or just have a lazy day by the pond.
- A good pension plan
- Legendary company events – we bring the whole flock together once a year for unforgettable team gatherings a year to keep our bonds strong.
- Hybrid work environment – Spend three days a week in the office collaborating with the flock, and work from wherever you’re most productive the rest of the time—whether that’s your home office, a coffee shop, or a peaceful lakeside retreat. We have to warn you though, most of us like the office so much we come anyway. It’s on the river Ij, with a great lunch every day.
PLEASE APPLY
Does this role sound appealing to you, but you’re missing some of the requirements or don’t quite think you’re qualified? Please apply anyway. Research has shown that underrepresented groups in technology often shy away from roles which aren’t a 100% match. We build production AI systems for enterprises. Financial services, healthcare companies, PE-backed operators. We are a Select-tier partner in Anthropic's Claude Partner Network, among the first integrators selected.
Every one of those systems has two stories. What we built, and why it changed the economics of the business that bought it. Most technical marketing tells the first and bores the buyer.
We want one person who can tell both, and build things themselves. Not a marketer who uses AI tools. Not an engineer who writes copy. Someone who moves between the two without noticing the border.
What you will do:
Tell both halves of the story. Sit close to the teams shipping these systems, understand what was actually hard, and translate it into video, writing, and demos that travel. Then go a level up: what the system changed for the operator, what it cost, what it replaced, why the CFO signed.
Shape how Provectus is positioned. Not just the case studies but the argument above them. What we stand for, which problems we claim, where we say no. You will have a real hand in that, not a style guide to follow.
Build the tools that make the marketing work. A scraper that watches what our market is saying. An agent that drafts case studies from delivery artifacts. A microsite for a launch. A dashboard showing which stories moved pipeline. You write the code. You do not file a ticket and wait.
Own channels outright. Write, publish, and measure across LinkedIn, YouTube, X, and whatever channel matters six months from now that does not matter today.
Run experiments and kill the ones that lose. Real budget, real autonomy, in exchange for showing your numbers.
What we are looking for:
You have shipped things people used. A side project, a channel with an audience, a tool, a launch. We care more about what you made than where you worked.
You write well, and you have a point of view. You can hold attention for 90 seconds on video and 900 words on a page.
You are curious about how companies make money. You can read a business case and find the part that actually matters. You can sit with a CFO or a PE operator and not reach for features.
You code. Python or TypeScript, comfortably. You use Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent every day and you have opinions about them. You have built something agentic that does actual work.
You are interested in AI for real. You read the papers, or the people who read the papers, and you have changed your mind about something in the last six months.
You are anywhere from your first job to your tenth year. Three levels, one bar: what have you made. If you are early, show us an internship where the bar was high and a portfolio with range. If you are senior, tell us what you built with your own hands in the last 90 days.
You are in New York or San Francisco, or you will be.
What we offer:
Base salary of $80,000 to $180,000 depending on level and location, plus a performance bonus.
Direct access to the people building the systems and the executives selling them. Small team, no layers between you and the work.
A budget for tools, models, and experiments, with no approval chain under a threshold.
Promotion tied to output, not tenure.
401(k) profit sharing plan after probation period
Unlimited PTO policy
Medical, Visual and Dental insurance
How to apply:
No cover letter. Send three links: something you wrote, something you built, and something you posted that got a reaction. One paragraph on why the third one worked.
Then, two sentences on a company whose positioning you think is wrong and what you would change.
Base salary depends on level and location, plus a performance bonus.
