About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic's Life Sciences team is building a research group focused on biological discoveries by combining AI with hands-on biological research. We're seeking a research scientist who combines deep chemistry knowledge with machine learning expertise to join the team. Our goal is to speed up progress in the life sciences by an order of magnitude, and this role puts that mission into practice. You'll be a computational chemist who knows reactions, synthesis, and medicinal chemistry in depth and has hands-on experience training and evaluating machine learning models. Above all, you'll build the reinforcement learning environments, datasets, and evaluations that teach Claude chemistry. Working alongside our bench chemists and AI researchers, you'll turn real chemistry problems and experimental data into training tasks and measure whether the models get better at them.
This role is fully on-site in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Key responsibilities
Design and build reinforcement learning environments for chemistry end to end, including task design, data curation, automated grading, and checks against shortcuts and data leakage
Design and source new experimental datasets, environments, and evaluations with our bench chemists, and external research and academic partners
Develop evaluations that measure model performance on real chemistry tasks, such as reaction outcome prediction, synthesis planning, structure elucidation, and compound design, and feed results back to research teams
Run and analyze training experiments with AI research teams, diagnose where models fail at chemistry, and prioritize what to build next
Ensure datasets and environments are high quality and well documented, including sources, train and test splits, and failure modes
Communicate findings clearly to chemistry, AI research, and life sciences audiences
Minimum qualifications
PhD in chemistry, computational chemistry, or a related field
Deep knowledge of organic and medicinal chemistry, including reactions, synthesis, and SAR, with experimental data as your ground truth
Strong Python skills and solid machine learning fundamentals, with hands-on experience training and evaluating models
Comfort navigating ambiguity and defining problems in a rapidly evolving research environment
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams, with strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred qualifications
Experience with reinforcement learning, large language models, or building evaluations and benchmarks
Track record of supporting drug discovery programs alongside medicinal and synthetic chemists
Experience curating chemistry datasets from the literature, patents, or lab notebooks, including reaction, ADMET, and spectroscopic data
Cheminformatics and molecular modeling skills, for example RDKit, docking, free energy calculations, or quantum chemistry
Hands-on synthetic or medicinal chemistry experience at the bench
Publications, patents, or open-source software demonstrating scientific impact

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Think You Can Make AI Notice Us? Prove It.
At LBC Mortgage, we’re looking for a curious, ambitious, and unconventional thinker who is ready to experiment, challenge assumptions, test new ideas, and help make our brand visible across the rapidly evolving world of AI platforms.
The way people discover businesses is changing. More and more people are turning to AI assistants like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity to ask questions, compare services, and decide which companies deserve their attention. We want LBC Mortgage to be part of those conversations. Not just on Google. Not just on social media. We want our brand to be discoverable, recognizable, and accurately represented wherever people search for answers, recommendations, and solutions.
Your mission is simple: help make LBC Mortgage impossible to overlook.
We’re not looking for someone who needs ten years of experience, a complicated strategy document, or permission to try every new idea. We’re looking for someone who is genuinely interested in how AI works, enjoys exploring new tools, and isn't afraid to test an approach that nobody on the team has tried before. You don't need to know everything on day one. You need to be willing to learn, think independently, take initiative, and turn ideas into action.
This is not about taking reckless risks or doing things without a plan. It’s about having the confidence to experiment intelligently, measure results, and improve continuously instead of assuming that yesterday’s methods will always work tomorrow.
You will help establish and maintain our presence across relevant business directories, search engines, review websites, social platforms, online communities, and emerging AI-driven discovery channels. You’ll work on making sure our business information is accurate and consistent, our profiles are complete, and our content clearly communicates who we are and what we do.
You’ll also explore how brands are mentioned in AI-generated answers, identify opportunities to strengthen our online presence, and investigate what helps AI systems discover and understand reliable information about businesses. From improving business listings to researching customer questions, contributing appropriately to relevant communities, and testing new content strategies, your work will help us understand how to become more visible in a world increasingly shaped by AI.
You should be comfortable following a strategy while also recognizing opportunities to improve it. If you notice something that could work better, speak up. If you discover a promising platform, explore it. If you have an idea worth testing, explain your reasoning and help us evaluate the results. We value people who combine initiative with accountability and creativity with attention to detail.
Most importantly, we want someone who sees this role as an opportunity rather than a checklist. Someone who wants to help shape how a brand competes in a changing digital landscape. Someone who understands that there may not always be a ready-made answer and is willing to find one.
We’re not promising that every experiment will succeed. We’re offering the opportunity to explore, test, learn, and contribute to something that is evolving in real time. You’ll have a clear objective, the freedom to investigate different approaches, and the responsibility to turn what you learn into meaningful progress.
Don’t just tell us you’re different. Show us how you think, what you’re curious about, and what you would try first.
Ready to make AI notice us? Apply.

We are seeking a senior litigator from a leading Greek law firm or an in-house legal function, with 8+ years' post-qualification experience and strong expertise in public procurement litigation. The ideal candidate combines courtroom experience with a preventive, commercially minded approach, and can protect the group's interests in competitive tender processes while keeping disputes to a minimum. You will join a dynamic, fast-growing GovTech business that bids for and delivers contracts for EU institutions and national public authorities across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the group's senior authority on dispute resolution, setting strategy and overseeing any litigation, arbitration or administrative proceedings involving ED's entities across jurisdictions.
Protect ED's position in public tenders: assess procurement decisions and, where appropriate, pursue or defend challenges before national review bodies, the Greek administrative courts and Council of State, and the EU General Court.
Advise senior management and bid teams at key tender milestones (evaluation, award, standstill) so decisions to challenge, intervene or defend are well founded and proportionate.
Prevent disputes by strengthening tender submissions, contract terms, and consortium and teaming agreements, drawing on procurement and litigation insight.
Resolve contractual issues with clients, subcontractors and consortium partners early, favouring negotiated outcomes that protect long-term relationships.
Select and manage external counsel in Greece, Luxembourg, Belgium and other jurisdictions when needed, ensuring strategy alignment and cost control.
Provide the CEO and the Board with clear, periodic reporting on legal risk and exposure, and give input to Finance where relevant.
Guide and support the in-house disputes team, promoting consistent quality and sound judgement.
Advise on contractual risk in EU institutional and public sector framework contracts, and support compliance, governance and M&A due diligence as required.
Requirements
LLB/LLM and qualification to practise law in Greece (member of the Athens Bar Association or equivalent); rights of audience before the higher courts preferred.
8+ years' experience in litigation and dispute resolution at a recognised Greek law firm or a comparable in-house role, with substantial public procurement litigation experience.
Strong knowledge of national procurement review procedures and EU public procurement law, including the EU Directives and the EU Financial Regulation rules for procurement by EU institutions; experience before the EU courts is a strong advantage.
Proven ability to assess legal risk proportionately, manage external counsel and budgets, and communicate clearly with senior management and boards.
Experience guiding or mentoring other lawyers.
Fluent English (written and spoken) is essential; French or other European languages are a strong plus.
Sound judgement, independence and the ability to work across multiple jurisdictions.
Commercial mindset, with a preference for practical, preventive solutions over adversarial ones.

Work with the Product Support Learning and Performance team as a subject matter expert to develop documentation and training materials for future Technical Quality Specialists
Act as the voice of the customer by identifying trends and communicating insights to partners across Product and Engineering to advocate for bug fixes, process improvements, and feature enhancements to Figma Weave
Keep the broader Product Support team up to date on current high-priority bugs and fixes that have been implemented in Figma Weave
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
2+ years of experience working in a QA or Support environment for a technical SaaS product
Troubleshooting and debugging experience across multiple platforms
Consultative communication skills with the ability to tailor a message for your audience - translating complex technical concepts into concise explanations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Resilience and adaptability—you’re motivated by experimenting, building, and working across teams, and are confident navigating times of change and ambiguity
Japanese a plus, but not essential
