ABOUT US:
AI NEEDS A NEW INFRASTRUCTURE LAYER. WE'RE BUILDING IT AT MODAL.
Every era of computing brought new workloads that previous infrastructure couldn't support: mainframes, databases, and the cloud. Each time, the company that rebuilt the layer underneath defined the decade. AI is no different, except it touches everything instead of one slice, and the window to build the layer underneath it is open right now.
Our customers include category-defining companies like Ramp https://modal.com/blog/how-ramp-built-a-full-context-background-coding-agent-on-modal, Cognition, DoorDash, and Suno. They rely on Modal for instant GPU access, sub-second container starts, and native storage, so it's simple to serve low-latency inference, fine-tune models, and access production-ready sandboxes at scale.

ABOUT US
At LangChain, our mission is to make intelligent agents ubiquitous. We build the foundation for agent engineering in the real world, helping developers move from prototypes to production-ready AI agents that teams can rely on. We began as widely adopted open-source tools and have grown to also offer a platform for building, evaluating, deploying, and operating agents at scale.
With $125M raised at Series B from IVP, Sequoia, Benchmark, CapitalG, and Sapphire Ventures, we’re at a stage where we’re continuing to develop new products, growth is accelerating, and all team members have meaningful impact on what we build and how we work together. LangChain is a place where your contributions can shape how this technology shows up in the real world.
Today, our platform includes LangSmith (Observability, Evaluation, Deployment, Fleet, and Sandboxes), our open source frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, and Deep Agents), and the newly launched LangSmith Engine for autonomous agent improvement. We have 100M+ monthly open source downloads, 6,000+ active LangSmith customers, and 5 of the Fortune 10 use LangSmith in production (+ 35% of the Fortune 500 overall), including teams at Klarna, Clay, Coinbase, Workday, Lyft, Cloudflare, Harvey, Rippling, Vanta, LinkedIn, Monday.com, Nvidia, and Bridgewater.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The Security team ensures that while AI moves at breakneck speed, everyone driving the racecar is wearing a seatbelt. We secure LangChain's core platform and protect AI agents from emerging threats. We work across the stack so developers can confidently ship from prototype to production without compromising on safety or privacy.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You'll be the hands-on detection and response engineer responsible for how we see, stop, and learn from threats across LangChain's production platform, cloud infrastructure, and the services that host and execute agentic workloads. You'll partner closely with Product Security to turn threat models, vulnerabilities, and incidents into telemetry, detections, and durable defenses. Your primary focus is engineering: building detection, investigation, and response systems that scale the Security team's impact beyond what manual operations allow. We are looking for engineers who think like builders, not just operators — strong software skills are a must.
This role participates in an incident on-call rotation, but its core focus is engineering systems that reduce risk, speed up investigations, and make incidents less frequent and less costly.
Location/City: San Francisco or NYC
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the detection lifecycle: Translate threat models, incidents, and attacker behavior into telemetry requirements and detections-as-code. Validate coverage, measure signal quality, tune false positives, and continuously test whether defenses work.
- Build security monitoring and telemetry: Design the telemetry pipeline end-to-end across cloud (GCP/AWS), Kubernetes, and the LangSmith/LangGraph control plane. Instrument services, define the signals that matter, and make security data reliable and useful.
- Engineer investigations and threat hunting: Build tools and workflows for proactive hunting, evidence collection, incident scoping, and containment. Turn investigation findings into new detections and lasting improvements.
- Use agents to scale the team: Build reliable internal AI agents and automation that triage alerts, enrich findings, gather evidence, scope incidents, and accelerate routine security work. Design human-in-the-loop controls and evaluations so automation is safe, observable, and trustworthy.
- Lead incident response and participate in on-call: Triage, scope, contain, and remediate security incidents, then drive postmortems that produce durable engineering changes.
- Partner with Product Security: Turn product threat models and vulnerability findings into production monitoring, and feed real-world detection and incident learnings back into secure design.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 5+ years in security engineering, with meaningful experience in detection engineering, security operations, or incident response — and the software skills to build your way out of repetitive work.
- Strong software engineering in Python or Go (TypeScript a plus). You design maintainable systems and write production code, not just one-off scripts.
- Cloud and Kubernetes detection depth: Experience with GCP or AWS logging, Kubernetes audit and runtime telemetry, workload identity, and turning raw signals into actionable detections.
- Detection and adversary expertise: The ability to model realistic attacker behavior, hunt across complex systems, test detection coverage, and distinguish meaningful signal from noise.
- Hands-on incident response: You've participated in on-call, led incidents, and written postmortems that changed how a team operates.
- Experience building reliable automation or developer-facing systems: You can design APIs and workflows, instrument what you build, evaluate quality, and operate it in production.
- A pragmatic product mindset: You can identify users and requirements, prioritize the highest-leverage problems, define success, and ship iteratively.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience building or operating AI agents for security workflows such as alert triage, investigation, evidence collection, or human-in-the-loop response.
- Proficiency using AI tooling to accelerate security investigations and engineering work.
- Understanding of AI threats, adversarial testing, and the security boundaries of LLM and agent workloads.
- Exposure to SOC 2 or ISO 27001 monitoring and evidence automation.
- Experience with infrastructure as code such as Terraform or Helm.
- Experience securing both SaaS and self-hosted or air-gapped deployments.
Annual salary range: $185,000- $250,000 USD
Compensation Philosophy:
We offer competitive compensation that includes base salary, variable compensation for relevant roles, meaningful equity, benefits, and perks.
We are hiring for this role across a range of scope, and the compensation band reflects that. Your offer depends on what we learn about your impact, craft, leadership, and communication during the interview process. We will tell you early where you’re tracking and talk comp with you before offer stage. Team members in the EU, UK, and APAC receive locally competitive benefits aligned with regional norms and regulations.
BENEFITS
Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, flexible vacation, a 401(k) plan, meals on in-office days in the US and more.

Preferably, you work at a tech company and are heavily involved in engineering operations, with a deep understanding of how engineering processes work under the hood and how to take them to the next level.
We want you to bring your passion for problem-solving, experience in the tech world, and the drive to help us get to the next level, and have some fun along the way.
This is a full-time position based out of our Bengaluru office.

Ensure operations and strategy execution work seamlessly and effectively, and streamline engineering processes so they are simple, value-oriented, and scalable.
Oversee operations for your respective global group, with a particular focus on increasing efficiency, stability, and effectiveness in delivering their strategic objectives.
Act as a strategic partner for the global group leader regarding short and long-term vision, planning (quarterly and annual), and execution, as well as establishing and tracking engineering OKRs and KPIs. All this with consistent alignment with engineering-wide policies and practices.
Maintain the engineering process library and improve it in collaboration with process owners, other operations managers, the PMO, engineering leadership, and leadership of partnering departments such as Product, Analytics, and Design.
Lead and manage process and efficiency improvement programs aiming to set up or improve engineering and cross-departmental processes, from problem definition and data analysis through solution proposal, stakeholder alignment, and execution — resulting in documented, repeatable, and measurable processes.
Collaborate and openly debate with the team of operations managers to manage engineering initiatives, solve problems, discuss challenges, and learn more about critical issues as a group of Engineering Operations.
Work with Engineering teams to ensure adherence to operational processes, conduct process audits and check-ins, and discuss opportunities for improvement with senior engineers and engineering leadership, identifying opportunities to optimize and automate routine operations.
Provide leadership, improvement, and support of our internal knowledge management process and information structure in collaboration with PMO, technical enablement teams, and technical writers.
Support the coordination, preparation, and delivery of company-wide engineering updates and events.
Act as a role model and a champion for operational excellence, project management practices, risk management, and security practices.
Skills We’re Looking For
10+ years of experience in technical/operations management in the technology/software development industry.
Ability to work directly with senior leadership on strategic programs, including leading cross-functional R&D initiatives from start to finish.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity, working independently, and problem-solving within fast-paced and constantly changing environments.
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact and collaborate with technical and non-technical groups at all levels.
A data-driven and action-oriented mindset with excellent planning, analytical, problem-solving, project/program management, organizational, and leadership skills.
Ability to identify and meet with key players and stakeholders to shape consensus collectively and engage in dialogue to reach a conclusion, compromising as necessary for results.
You are fearless, goal-focused, and pragmatic, and you understand the complexity of working with a multitude of different teams and people.
You are recognized as a go-to expert in one or more engineering operations domains (e.g., System Design, Data Architecture, Infrastructure Management, including cost management, Quality) and use that expertise to drive innovation in how your global group approaches them - not just facilitate conversations, but shape and influence the technical direction of SDLC and process decisions.
Stays current on industry trends and business developments relevant to engineering operations, and applies that context to inform recommendations and decisions.
Ability to leverage AI to increase your own productivity and leverage it in the solutions you're building.
(Optional)Bonus Skills

- Build the treasury function from scratch - cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, payment prioritisation, cash pool strategy, and working capital management.
- Set FX policy and hedging strategy for the group; oversee execution by the FP&A team.
- Own all banking relationships - negotiate products and deals with banks and partners, manage account infrastructure, and drive operational banking processes.

- 7+ years of finance experience, including 3+ years managing teams. Comfortable operating as a high-level individual contributor on strategic projects while simultaneously building and leading a growing team.
- Strong business acumen - ability to understand business in detail, ask the right questions, and get to root causes rather than treating symptoms.
- Proficient in financial modelling, budgeting, and board-level reporting.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial planning tools.
- AI-first mindset - actively uses AI tools in daily work and sees automation as the default, not the exception.
- Exceptional time management, task ownership, and prioritization skills.
- Fluency in both English (written and spoken).
- Experience in treasury, cash management, FX risk management, or hedging strategies would be a plus.
- Experience in a high-growth tech, marketplace, or e-commerce company - energised by building, not just maintaining.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.

Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

About the company:
KIEFER is building Greece's integrated AI ecosystem. From renewable energy infrastructure and AI systems to robotics and enterprise applications, we connect the technologies that power Europe's intelligent future. Founded in 2014, KIEFER has delivered 600MW+ of energy projects and is now developing sovereign AI infrastructure, enterprise AI products and physical AI systems for Greece and Southeast Europe.
About the role
We are looking for a Senior Enterprise Sales Director to own the commercialization of KIEFER's AI, Robotics, and Operational Intelligence stack directly with major utilities, grid operators, and energy conglomerates in Greece and the broader EU market.
You will act as the bridge between KIEFER's advanced AI engineering and the operational realities of the energy sector - a highly technical, strategic sales role that requires peer-to-peer credibility with utility COOs, CTOs, and Heads of Innovation.
This is not a generalist SaaS sales role. You should be comfortable navigating long, complex procurement cycles and public tenders, translating AI and robotics capability into operational and financial ROI, and bringing market reality back to the CEO and Product team to help sharpen product-market fit.
What you will do
- Build and close a high-value pipeline of enterprise deals across the Greek and SE European energy sector (e.g., DEDDIE, IPTO, PPC, Mytilineos, HELLENiQ Energy)
- Translate KIEFER's AI, robotics, and Sovereign AI Data Center capabilities into concrete operational and financial ROI for grid operators
- Navigate complex procurement cycles, public tenders, and regulatory requirements (NIS2, EU AI Act, DORA) inherent to critical-infrastructure sales
- Partner closely with Engineering and Product Architecture to run a technical pre-sales motion, opening doors and setting the strategic frame while the team proves technical capability
- Act as the voice of the energy market back to the CEO and Product team, helping refine PMF based on real utility pain points (SCADA integration, substation inspection, edge compute)
- Own account planning and relationship management for KIEFER's most strategic energy accounts, including the existing DEDDIE/IPTO relationship
What you will need
- 10+ years selling complex, high-value technical solutions directly to utilities, grid operators, or large energy conglomerates
- Deep understanding of grid infrastructure, substation operations, EMS/ADMS, SCADA, and industrial automation protocols (e.g., IEC 61850)
- Familiarity with the regulatory landscape for European critical infrastructure (NIS2, EU AI Act, DORA, data sovereignty, on-premise/air-gapped deployment)
- Proven track record closing 6-to-7-figure enterprise deals through long, multi-stakeholder procurement cycles (technical, legal, procurement, C-suite)
- Peer-to-peer credibility with utility COOs, CTOs, and Heads of Innovation
- Based in Athens, with willingness to travel regularly across SE Europe
Nice to have
- Existing relationships with DEDDIE/HEDNO, IPTO, PPC, Mytilineos, HELLENiQ Energy, or comparable SE European utilities/energy conglomerates
- Experience navigating EU AI Act or DORA compliance in a commercial context
- Background bridging Energy EPC and technology/AI commercialization
- Experience selling robotics or industrial automation (e.g., inspection, edge compute) alongside software
- Prior exposure to sovereign, on-premise, or air-gapped AI infrastructure deployments
What is there for you
- Impact - sell the core intelligence layer that will define how national critical infrastructure operates for the next decade
- Access - report directly to the CEO and work alongside top-tier strategic advisors
- Unfair advantage - sovereign GPU infrastructure and strategic partnerships with NVIDIA, and Unitree
- Ownership - build and scale the sales motion for KIEFER's energy vertical across SE Europe
- Category - be at the forefront of Europe's shift toward Autonomous Operations and sovereign AI infrastructure
- Culture - direct CEO access, high autonomy, low bureaucracy

Location: Espoo
Workplace: Hybrid
Role highlights:
- Senior Satellite Industrialization Engineer
- Location: Espoo, Finland
- Department: Industrialization Systems / Global Manufacturing Organization (GMO)
- Employment type: Permanent
- Workplace model: Office / Hybrid
- Employment is subject to applicable security screening (incl. SUPO, where required)
Why this role matters:
As a Senior Satellite Industrialization Engineer, you'll do the hands-on technical work that moves satellite designs toward industrial maturity (MRL 8-9). You'll contribute to the DFM/DFX design standard, act as a technical reviewer at design-review gates, and help define the production line, automation, and facility requirements behind them. Your depth in RF, optical, or broader satellite systems keeps that work grounded in what a real satellite design actually requires.
Who We Are
ICEYE is the world leader in sovereign intelligence from space. We deliver persistent monitoring capabilities to detect and respond to changes in any location on Earth.
ICEYE owns the world's largest and most advanced SAR (synthetic aperture radar) satellite constellation. To our customers we provide intelligence with unmatched quality, latency and revisit times, in any weather, day or night. To governments who choose to operate their own constellation we provide this proven capability as a sovereign system.
ICEYE-built constellations serve customers in defence and intelligence, environmental monitoring, insurance and emergency management. We enable fast decisions that contribute to a safer future.
Founded and headquartered in Finland, ICEYE operates globally with over 1000 employees across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
Your day-to-day responsibilities
- Contribute to the DFM/DFX standard: help develop and maintain design rules, tolerancing guidance, and material/process selection criteria.
- Support the design-review gates your team is involved in: help define gate criteria and participate as a technical reviewer.
- Support the definition of industrialization requirements beyond the design standard: production line design requirements, automation requirements, and facility requirements for satellite and subsystem manufacturing.
- Work with Engineering, AIT, and Production teams to gather the input needed to define these requirements against real design and production constraints.
- Support coordination with ICEYE's Global Manufacturing Infrastructure team on the detail needed to implement line, automation, and facility requirements at each site.
- Build and maintain manufacturability and industrialization tooling: checklists, scorecards, and templates that design and production teams actually use.
- Help track the target metrics that satellite and subsystem designs are measured against as they move through MRL stages.
- Support the interface with the Manufacturing Engineering function, helping capture field and design friction and translate it into standard updates.
What we’re looking for
Must haves:
- Hands-on design or systems engineering background in satellite hardware, with depth in RF, optical, or broader satellite subsystems.
- Solid understanding of how design decisions affect manufacturability, tolerancing, integration, and test outcomes.
- Comfortable doing the technical work of building and maintaining standards, gate criteria, and tooling, under the direction of the function's lead.
- Experience working alongside Engineering, AIT, or Production teams to gather technical input.
- Strong communication skills, able to translate technical design detail into clear standard and tooling content.
Nice to haves:
- Prior exposure to DFM/DFX practices, design-review gates, or producibility standards in aerospace or comparable hardware environments.
- Experience contributing to production line, automation, or facility requirements for hardware manufacturing.
- Familiarity with cleanroom environments and EGSE/MGSE.
- Experience in a multi-site or scale-up manufacturing environment.
Application Process
- Talent Acquisition Interview
- Hiring Manager Interview
- Technical Interview + Task
- Final interview
