Action1 is led by industry veterans Alex Vovk and Mike Walters, American entrepreneurs who founded Netwrix, which has grown into an industry-leading, multibillion-dollar cybersecurity company.
Introduction:
Action1 is transforming endpoint security for modern IT teams. As we continue our evolution from SMB to enterprise, we are hiring a high-performing Account Executive to drive new business across state, local, and education accounts in

This is a quota-carrying, full-cycle hunter role focused on creating new opportunities within a designated territory. The successful candidate will leverage their existing knowledge and relationships within the SLED market to generate demand and open doors with IT and security leaders.
We are looking for someone who already understands how the public sector purchases cybersecurity and IT infrastructure. This includes longer sales cycles, multiple decision-makers, technical validation, security reviews, procurement requirements, reseller relationships, and budget cycles.
This is not a relationship-only SLED role or a reactive RFP position. We need someone who can build pipeline, recognize high-value opportunities, run strong discovery, manage technical evaluations, and close business in a high-growth, remote-first SaaS environment.
Responsibilities
Drive SLED Revenue Growth:
Own a defined U.S. SLED territory and meet or exceed quota through disciplined territory development, pipeline generation, and deal execution.
Create New Opportunities:
Identify target accounts, conduct direct outbound prospecting, and build relationships with public-sector IT and security leaders.
Build and Maintain Pipeline:
Generate pipeline through outbound activity, customer referrals, partner relationships, events, and strategic account planning.
Manage the Full Sales Cycle:
Lead opportunities from prospecting through discovery, stakeholder alignment, technical validation, procurement, negotiation, and contract execution.
Sell to IT and Security Leaders:
Engage IT Directors, CISOs, CIOs, Infrastructure Directors, SysAdmins, security teams, procurement stakeholders, and executive decision-makers.
Navigate SLED Buying Processes:
Manage multi-stakeholder sales cycles, RFPs, security reviews, procurement workflows, cooperative purchasing, contract vehicles, and reseller-led motions.
Develop Partner Relationships:
Build relationships with reseller representatives and other partners who can provide introductions and help uncover opportunities.
Prioritize High-Value Opportunities:
Recognize where meaningful revenue potential exists and focus time and resources accordingly.
Partner with Solutions Engineers:
Collaborate with pre-sales and technical resources to support discovery, demonstrations, evaluations, and technical validation.
Execute Account Expansion Strategy:
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing SLED customers to support long-term growth and retention.
Maintain Sales Discipline:
Keep forecasts, opportunity details, next steps, and account activity accurate in Salesforce.
Share Market Intelligence:
Provide feedback on customer priorities, competitive activity, procurement trends, and territory-specific opportunities.
Operate with Ownership:
Work independently in a remote-first environment while collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Channel, Product, Customer Success, and Sales Leadership.
Requirements
Proven quota-carrying experience selling cybersecurity software into state, local, and education accounts in the states of
Wisconsin and Iowa.
Established relationships and strong market knowledge within a defined SLED territory, including familiarity with relevant customers, resellers, partners, and procurement channels.
Proven success operating as a hunter and generating new pipeline through direct outbound prospecting, cold outreach, referrals, partner relationships, and territory development.
Demonstrated ability to identify target SLED accounts, open new relationships, create demand, and develop opportunities without waiting for formal RFPs.
Experience managing full-cycle, multi-stakeholder SLED sales processes from initial outreach through close.
Strong understanding of public-sector procurement, including RFPs, cooperative purchasing, contract vehicles, reseller-led sales, security reviews, and government budget cycles.
Experience selling cybersecurity, endpoint management, patch management, vulnerability management, EDR, MDR, IAM, IT operations, infrastructure, or closely related technical solutions.
Experience engaging IT Directors, CISOs, CIOs, Infrastructure Leaders, SysAdmins, security teams, procurement stakeholders, and technical buying committees.
Proven success owning and closing complex deals with an average deal value of at least $30,000.
Demonstrated ability to evaluate and prioritize opportunities based on customer need, revenue potential, and likelihood of success.
Excellent discovery, consultative selling, negotiation, account planning, and relationship-building skills.
Strong forecasting discipline and consistent Salesforce hygiene.
Ability to operate independently, maintain consistent outbound activity, and create structure within a developing territory.
Comfortable working in a high-growth, fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Company Description
Today, when you go to your doctor and get referred to a specialist, your doctor sends out a referral and tells you, “They’ll be in touch soon.” So you wait. And wait. Sometimes days, weeks, or even months. Why? Because too often providers are overwhelmed with the painstakingly tedious work required to get paid by insurance companies. Powered by proprietary models, Tennr handles the complex paperwork that gets patients through the door and providers paid, helping operators get patients the right care, at the right time, in the right setting.
Role Description
You’ll join Tennr’s Infrastructure team as a Site Reliability Engineer, focused on the systems that keep us reliable, observable, and secure. This is a hands-on role with real room to grow: you’ll roll out our on-call tooling, wire observability into the product, and own the lifecycle of the credentials, certificates, and keys that protect patient data.
It’s a great fit for someone a few years into their career who wants to grow into deep SRE ownership — with strong mentorship, real problems to solve from day one, and a direct line to the reliability and security of a platform that handles PHI.
Responsibilities
- Continue the PagerDuty rollout across engineering teams, helping them define escalation policies, schedules, and runbooks so on-call is calm and clear.
- Build in-app Datadog instrumentation — metrics, traces, and alerts — working from the observability standards Infrastructure sets.
- Manage credential storage and rotation across our environments.
- Manage certificate issuance, renewal, and rotation.
- Manage encryption key lifecycle and rotation, keeping PHI protected end to end.
Candidate Qualifications
- 2–4 years in SRE, infrastructure, systems, or a strong adjacent engineering background.
- Familiarity with PagerDuty or a comparable on-call and incident-response tool.
- Hands-on with Datadog or another observability platform, or eager to go deep on it.
- Working understanding of secrets, certificate, and key management (e.g. AWS Secrets Manager / KMS / ACM, HashiCorp Vault).
- Careful and methodical with anything touching security and rotation — you sweat the details.
- Eager to grow into broader SRE ownership, and energized by working in a regulated healthcare (HIPAA / PHI) environment.
Why Tennr?
- Drive Impact: one of our company values is Cowboy, meaning you set the pace. You won’t just talk about things, you’ll get them done. And feel the impact.
- Develop Operational Expertise: learn the inner workings of scaling systems, tools, and infrastructure.
- Innovate with Purpose: we’re not just doing this for fun (although we do have a lot of fun). At Tennr, you’ll join a high-caliber team maniacally focused on reducing patient delays across the U.S. healthcare system.
- Build Relationships: collaborate and connect with like-minded, driven individuals in our Hudson Square office 4 days/week.
- Free lunch! Plus a pantry full of snacks.
Benefits
- Beautiful new office at 345 Hudson Street
- Unlimited PTO
- 100% paid employee health benefit options
- Employer-funded 401(k) match
- Competitive parental leave

Powered by proprietary models, Tennr handles the complex paperwork that gets patients through the door and providers paid, helping operators get patients the right care, at the right time, in the right setting.
Role Description
You’ll be the senior builder on Tennr’s Infrastructure team, owning the cloud, clusters, and environments that everything else runs on. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role: you’ll help design our Kubernetes foundation, run dev, staging, and production end to end, and keep our AWS footprint clean, secure, and reliable as we scale.
We’re looking for someone who executes fast but doesn’t just take orders. The patterns you set and the guardrails you establish are the ones the rest of engineering will inherit.
Responsibilities
- Help build out our EKS cluster module and the patterns other teams inherit from it.
- Own cluster management and the dev, staging, and production build-out end to end.
- Drive and unblock infrastructure migrations, keeping them safe, staged, and low-drama.
- Lead the consolidation of our infrastructure observability onto Datadog and set the standards other teams build on.
- Own AWS building and maintenance - networking, IAM, and core services as infrastructure-as-code. Keeping the environment secure-by-default and cost-aware.
Candidate Qualifications
- 5–8 years in infrastructure, platform, or DevOps engineering, with real ownership of production systems.
- Hands-on depth with Kubernetes (EKS preferred) and Terraform or comparable infrastructure-as-code.
- Solid AWS fundamentals: networking, IAM, and the core services a modern platform runs on.
- Experience with Datadog or a comparable observability stack, and a point of view on what good looks like.
- Comfortable executing autonomously
- A pragmatic bias toward simple, durable systems, and toward shipping over gold-plating
- Bonus: experience in a regulated or healthcare (HIPAA / PHI) environment.
