From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data.
Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on.
Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact.
During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the Role
Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies.
We're looking for an amazing individual to join Fivetran's Employee Experience team as our Senior Lead, Employee Experience & Internal Communications. This role goes beyond writing great comms — you'll also help design how employees experience Fivetran day to day, from how we listen to them, to how we recognize them, to how we bring them together as a community. You'll craft compelling communications for employees around the world, build the frameworks that connect employees to one another and to our priorities, and design programs that make people feel heard, valued, and energized — all in service of our company mission.
You'll be hands-on: writing stellar communications, designing employee listening mechanisms, building recognition programs, and running culture and community initiatives. You'll also zoom out — building frameworks and cadences that scale, and using data (surveys, engagement metrics, attendance, participation) to tell a story about how the organization is doing and what to do next.
Technologies You’ll Use

Own the internal communications strategy, calendar, and multi-channel distribution framework, spanning both the People and COO organizations
Write and edit clear, engaging content for internal audiences across our internal wiki and other channels

Support leadership on change and reorg communications, ensuring transparency and buy-in
Manage and optimize internal communication channels (email, intranet, Slack, and other digital platforms)
Develop and maintain a crisis communications plan for unexpected events affecting the company and its employees
Employee Listening
Design and run an employee listening framework across employee groups (e.g., ERGs) and around key moments (e.g., reorgs), at a minimum quarterly cadence
Establish feedback mechanisms to gauge the effectiveness of communications and programs, and translate what you hear into action
Recognition
Build and document a company-wide recognition framework, pilot it with an initial team, and iterate based on results
Integrate recognition into everyday tools and processes (e.g., Slack, Workday) and align it with company values
Culture
Identify and help launch culture initiatives grounded in our top company values
Track and report on awareness and adoption (e.g., through the annual company survey)
Events & Community
Design a connection framework for events and community programming, including remote/distributed hubs
Plan and deliver company events (holiday, community, and milestone moments) with clear attendance and satisfaction goals
Data & Storytelling
Analyze and present data (survey results, attendance, engagement, participation) accurately and use it to tell a clear story that drives decisions
Skills We’re Looking For
6+ years of experience across internal communications and employee experience/engagement, with excellent, clear, simple writing

ABOUT US:
AI NEEDS A NEW INFRASTRUCTURE LAYER. WE'RE BUILDING IT AT MODAL.
Every era of computing brought new workloads that previous infrastructure couldn't support: mainframes, databases, and the cloud. Each time, the company that rebuilt the layer underneath defined the decade. AI is no different, except it touches everything instead of one slice, and the window to build the layer underneath it is open right now.
Our customers include category-defining companies like Ramp https://modal.com/blog/how-ramp-built-a-full-context-background-coding-agent-on-modal, Cognition, DoorDash, and Suno. They rely on Modal for instant GPU access, sub-second container starts, and native storage, so it's simple to serve low-latency inference, fine-tune models, and access production-ready sandboxes at scale.
We've passed $1B in annualized run rate, up 15x from a year ago. In October 2026 we raised a $750M Series D led by Accel at a $15.75B valuation.
Our team includes creators of popular open-source projects (e.g.,Seaborn https://github.com/mwaskom/seaborn,Luigi https://github.com/spotify/luigi), academic researchers, international olympiad medalists, and experienced engineering and product leaders with decades of experience.
THE ROLE:
As our People Operations Generalist for the UK, you’ll own day-to-day People Operations for our growing UK team.
Reporting to our People Lead, Europe, you’ll be the go-to person for UK employees and managers, with ownership across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding and payroll coordination to employee changes and offboarding. You’ll bring strong UK People Operations expertise, help build scalable processes, and partner with the broader People team on global programs. You’ll also help run the day-to-day London office and work closely with Recruiting on the final stages of the UK candidate experience, including onsite interview coordination and candidate support.
Things move fast at Modal, and priorities change as we grow. We’re looking for someone flexible and hands-on who’s happy to jump in, figure things out, and take on whatever needs doing across your area.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON:
- Own day-to-day People Operations for our UK employees, including onboarding, employee changes, leave, documentation, and offboarding
- Act as the first point of contact for UK employees and managers, escalating more complex matters as needed
- Partner with payroll, benefits, pension, and other external providers to ensure smooth UK administration
- Keep employee data, documentation, and People processes accurate, compliant, and up to date
- Build and improve UK People processes, policies, and self-service resources as we scale
- Execute global People programs locally, ensuring they work effectively for our UK team
- Own day-to-day office operations in London, collaborating with internal partners (like the Workplace team!) and third-party vendors
- Coordinate onsite interviews and the final stages of the candidate experience for UK hires
- Plan and support local employee events and initiatives
YOU MAY BE A FIT IF:
- You have 5+ years of People Operations or HR experience, ideally at multiple fast-growing companies at a similar stage of growth
- You have strong knowledge of UK People Operations and employment practices, including payroll, benefits, pensions, and employee lifecycle processes
- You’re comfortable working independently and taking ownership, with the judgment to know when to escalate or bring in additional expertise
- You’re highly organized and detail-oriented, comfortably managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills and a high level of discretion when handling sensitive employee matters
- You take a hands-on, flexible approach: you’re comfortable figuring things out, building processes from scratch, and jumping into whatever needs doing
- You’re based in London and comfortable working from the office five days a week (life happens, of course!)
NICE-TO-HAVE:
- Experience with office operations, workplace, or recruiting coordination

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
