Location: Madrid, Spain
About the Company:
Our client is a global education group bringing together a growing network of more than 20 schools across Europe, Asia and Latin America. The group operates physical schools offering education from kindergarten through to secondary education, combining international schools with local institutions while preserving their individual identities.
They are building a global platform focused on supporting its schools, strengthening operational capabilities and driving sustainable growth. With its headquarters in Madrid, the group is expanding its central finance function to support its growing international portfolio and is looking for a
Management Accountant
to join its FP&A team.
About the Role
The Management Accountant will support the preparation and consolidation of monthly management accounts, analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts, and ensure accurate, consistent reporting across the group's international school portfolio.
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY AND BUSINESS SUPPORT
• Support the central finance function through the group management accounts cycle, working as part of a small team being built from scratch.
• Report to the Head of FP&A, playing a central role in the preparation and review of the group’s monthly management accounts as the function continues to be built out.
• Build strong working relationships with school finance leads across the portfolio as a key contributor across the management reporting cycle, alongside significant exposure to the Madrid head office team.
• Help establish robust, well-documented management accounts processes, controls, and ways of working that can scale as the group grows, ensuring continuity and consistency as the team and portfolio expand.
PREPARATION OF MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTS
• Prepare the consolidated monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, cash-flow and supporting schedules, drawing together submissions from across the school portfolio into a single group view.
• Apply agreed group conventions consistently, including FX rates, consolidation adjustments, and presentation formats, ensuring outputs are comparable across schools and over time.
• Prepare variance analysis comparing actuals to budget, forecast and prior periods, with clear commentary on the key drivers of movements for review by the Head of FP&A.
• Maintain clear, well-documented working files and supporting schedules for each reporting cycle, so that the basis for every figure in the management accounts is transparent and can be traced and understood.
MONTH-END REVIEWS
• Carry out structured month-end reviews of school-level submissions, checking arithmetic accuracy, internal consistency, and alignment with group reporting conventions before consolidation.
• Identify and follow up on anomalies, unusual movements, or inconsistencies in school submissions, working with school finance leads to resolve queries ahead of the reporting deadline.
• Support the Head of FP&A in reviewing the consolidated management accounts prior to distribution, flagging any areas requiring further explanation or correction.
• Help embed a consistent month-end review checklist and timetable across the portfolio, contributing to its ongoing refinement, controls, and documentation as the function develops.
DATA, SYSTEMS, AND INTEGRITY
• Own the integrity of management accounts outputs, including consolidation, reporting, and supporting files, ensuring formulas, links, and consolidation logic are accurate and free of errors.
• Take ownership and maintain clear, well-organised documentation of management accounts processes, templates, data conventions, and reporting logic, so that methodologies are transparent and repeatable across the team.
• Implement and maintain quality control checks across the management accounts and reporting outputs to ensure accuracy and consistency before submission to senior stakeholders.
BUSINESS PARTNERING
• Act as the first point of contact for schools on any management accounts queries, providing timely and clear responses or escalating to the Head of FP&A where required.
• Work closely with the Financial Accountant and wider accounting team, who are responsible for the underlying statutory accounts that feed into the management accounts, ensuring a clear handover, shared understanding of account structures, and timely resolution of queries between the two functions.
• Support the Head of FP&A in preparing materials for the CFO and other senior stakeholders, ensuring outputs are accurate, well-documented, and clearly presented.
Requirements
CANDIDATE PROFILE
• Qualified accountant or finalist (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with experience in a management accounting or financial reporting role, ideally in a multi-entity or international environment.
• Sound understanding of management accounting principles, including P&L, balance sheet and cash-flow preparation, variance analysis, and consolidation.
• Competent Excel skills, with experience working with templates and processes across multiple teams or entities.
• Conscientious, accurate, and comfortable taking ownership of deliverables under reporting deadlines, with a strong instinct for documentation and process.
• Confident communicator, able to work effectively with colleagues across finance functions and school finance leads.
• Full professional fluency in English is essential; additional languages relevant to the portfolio are an advantage.
• Experience in the K-12 or international schools sector is an advantage but not a prerequisite.

About Paired
Paired is a global staffing and recruiting agency that specializes in pairing remote work with top-tier talent!
We are dedicated to connecting talented individuals with remarkable companies in need of their skills. Our goal is to create fulfilling job opportunities for professionals around the world.
Our Client
AI powered ecommerce agency. They have worked with 500+ DTC and ecommerce brands, managed $250M+ in media spend and delivered $2B+ in client revenue. They run paid social, paid search, email/SMS, CTV, TikTok Shop, Amazon, UGC and CRO for a portfolio of DTC brands.
Their team is lean and works in pods. Each pod has a pod lead who owns strategy and client relationships, a media buyer who owns execution and performance, content managers, and creative support. They use AI throughout our workflow, from account audits to landing page builds to creative reporting, so one strong media buyer can do the work of three.
This is a fast environment. If you are ambitious and hard-working, it will move your career faster than most agencies can. If you need a lot of structure or prefer a slow pace, it is not the right fit.
The Role
You will be the media buyer in one of our pods, managing Meta campaigns (with TikTok as a secondary channel) across a portfolio of ecommerce accounts. You own the ad accounts: budgets, pacing, structure, launches, testing and optimization. Your pod lead owns the client relationship and overall strategy. You own the numbers and the execution behind them.
The role combines hands-on buying with media buying strategy. You will analyze performance data, find where accounts are leaking (pre-click or post-click), and propose the fix: new creative angles, landing page tests, budget shifts or structure changes. You will also join client calls and present paid social performance alongside your pod lead.
What Success Looks Like
Every account is paced to its monthly budget, with no overspend and no surprises
Spend moves to the highest-leverage products and campaigns, and comes off losers quickly
No ads run on sold-out products, broken links or outdated offers
Accounts are never starved of creative: you flag gaps early and get new assets live fast
Landing page and creative tests launch on schedule and produce clear winners
Your pod lead walks into every client call with accurate numbers and a clear plan from you
Seasonal moments (Prime Day, BFCM, brand sales) launch on time with approved assets
What You’ll Do
Campaign Management
Build, launch and optimize Meta campaigns daily, with secondary management of TikTok Ads
Own daily budgets and monthly pacing per account, and reallocate spend based on performance, frequency and inventory
Manage campaign structure, bidding, audiences, exclusions and frequency controls
Upload and traffic new creative, and run structured creative and angle testing
Run weekly account sweeps: check every live ad for stock availability, link destination, offer accuracy and copy errors, and fix issues the same day
Monitor ROAS, NC-ROAS, MER, CAC and frequency against client targets
Strategy and Analysis
Diagnose performance by separating pre-click problems (creative, audience, fatigue) from post-click problems (landing page, offer, site)
Look past platform ROAS to backend profitability: margins, COGS and blended results
Build landing page test plans and work with our team to get new pages designed, approved and live
Audit ad copy and creative across accounts and recommend what to refresh, cut or scale
Plan and execute seasonal campaigns, including Prime Day, BFCM and client sales
Spot and escalate tracking issues (pixel, CAPI, attribution discrepancies) before they distort decisions
Creative Collaboration
Work with content managers, designers and the creative team to source, brief and review ad creative
Identify winning hooks, formats and angles, and turn them into creative requests
Push for authentic assets (real people, raw clips, UGC) that improve performance
Reporting and Client Communication
Prepare performance reports and creative performance reports for client calls
Join client calls with your pod lead and present paid social results, trends and next steps clearly
Keep internal Slack channels and Jira tickets updated so everyone knows what changed and why
AI and Process
Use AI tools (Claude and others) daily to run account audits, generate landing page concepts, draft copy and build reports
Help turn repeated work into reusable AI workflows that make the whole pod faster
Requirements
Must have
3+ years of hands-on Meta Ads experience for ecommerce brands (not lead gen or boosted posts), with at least one account at $100K+/month in spend
A proven record of scaling DTC ecommerce brands through Meta, at an agency or in-house
Deep understanding of Meta campaign structure, auction dynamics, pixel/CAPI tracking and creative performance
Strong command of ecommerce metrics: ROAS, NC-ROAS, MER, CAC, LTV, contribution margin
Precision with budgets: you pace spend to the dollar and catch problems before the client does
Strong ownership: you act without waiting to be told, and you close the loop on every task
Clear, confident communication, written and on calls
Comfort using AI tools in your daily workflow, and curiosity about using them more
Humility to do the detailed work and ambition to grow into a strategist
English C1-C2 fluency for conversation level since this is a client-facing role
Nice to Have
TikTok Ads Manager experience
Triple Whale, Northbeam or other attribution tools
Working knowledge of Shopify and Klaviyo, and how paid and retention channels work together
Experience building or testing landing pages
Background in creative strategy, UGC or performance creative
Experience with Jira or similar task management tools
Benefits
What You’ll Get
Fully remote work; USD payment up to 6k/month
Direct ownership of your ad accounts and the results they produce
Training on AI-powered media buying workflows most agencies do not have yet
Access to Triple Whale, Meta Ads Manager, Klaviyo, Claude and more
A clear growth path from media buyer to media buying strategist as the agency grows

About Us
Since 2013, we’ve been building a CRM that gets out of your way and helps your team sell more, faster. Now we’re building AI into every part of it, so Close does the busywork and your team does the selling. No manual data entry, no 10-click workflows. Just communication-first, AI-powered sales software designed to help you succeed and scale.
We're bootstrapped and profitable which means we answer to our customers and play by our rules. We're proud of our 130-person, 100% remote team, focused on building Close so that no small, scaling business fails because it can't figure out sales.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Close is a CRM built around the communication tools sales teams use every day: email, calling, SMS, workflows, reporting, and AI. Underneath that product is a broad technical surface — Python services and a large application backend, a TypeScript and React frontend, public APIs, Docker and Kubernetes, AWS infrastructure, and integrations with providers that handle sensitive customer data.
Security work happens across it all today, but the ownership is spread across Engineering, Infrastructure, and Security & Trust. We’re hiring our first dedicated Product Security Engineer to make that work systematic. You’ll report to the Backend Platform team manager within EPD (Engineering, Product, and Design), while working across the entire product and infrastructure surface. You’ll find vulnerabilities, determine which findings matter most, and drive them through remediation. Often you’ll fix the problem yourself. Other times you’ll give the owning team a clear reproduction, a practical path forward, and enough context to prioritize correctly.
You’ll analyze code, build proof-of-concepts, test running applications, tune or replace noisy tools, and automate the repetitive parts of vulnerability management. This is not a role where you forward scanner alerts and call the queue managed. Product and application security will be your responsibility. You’ll partner closely with our Infrastructure team on cloud security, access, and secrets, and with our Security & Trust Lead on GRC Engineering https://grc.engineering/, compliance (SOC 2) goals, audits, and corporate security.
This role is a new one at Close. You’ll have significant room to decide where better tooling, clearer ownership, and a small amount of code can reduce the most risk.
OUR STACK
Our backend is primarily Python, with Flask and FastAPI services and TaskTiger https://github.com/closeio/tasktiger and Temporal handling much of our asynchronous work. We expose REST https://developer.close.com/ and GraphQL APIs and store data in MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Redis.
Our frontend is a large single-page TypeScript application built primarily with React. We bundle with Vite, target modern browsers, and test with Vitest, React Testing Library, Playwright, and Chromatic. The product updates in near real time and uses technologies including WebSockets and WebRTC. Our mobile application is built with React Native.
We build and test Docker images in CI/CD and continuously deploy them to Kubernetes on AWS. Our infrastructure uses managed services including EKS, MSK, and ElastiCache, alongside services running on EC2. Terraform and Ansible automate much of the underlying infrastructure, and our containerized local development environment lets engineers run the full system on their own machines.
For this role, our stack extends beyond simply backend or frontend: browser behavior, frontend state, API authorization, asynchronous processing, data access, third-party integrations, containers, and cloud configuration can all be part of the same attack path.
We love open sourcing our code and ideas on our GitHub https://github.com/closeio and on The Making of Close https://making.close.com/, our behind-the-scenes Product & Engineering blog. Check out our open source projects like SocketShark https://github.com/closeio/socketshark, TaskTiger https://github.com/closeio/tasktiger, LimitLion https://github.com/closeio/limitlion and ciso8601 https://github.com/closeio/ciso8601.
AI is both how we build and what we ship, and that's reshaped what engineering looks like. This is a transformation we’re embracing and find deeply exciting.
YOU ARE
- An application security engineer who writes code. You can move from reading an unfamiliar code path, to reproducing an exploit, to proposing or shipping a production-quality fix. Strong Python or TypeScript experience would be especially useful; fluency across both backend and frontend systems is even better.
- Skilled at finding vulnerabilities conventional scanners may miss. You use modern AI-assisted review pipelines, guided by expert judgment, to uncover subtle flaws in web apps and APIs—from authentication, authorization, and tenant isolation to injection, SSRF, unsafe data flows, and business logic. You can threat-model designs, white-box review code, and test running systems.
- Offensive-minded and operationally responsible. You know how to test like an attacker without being careless with customer data or production systems. You can turn a finding into a safe reproduction, assess exploitability and business impact, and retest the eventual fix.
- An automation builder. You have worked with some mix of SAST, DAST, software composition analysis, container scanning, secrets scanning, or cloud posture tooling. More importantly, you know how to tune tools, connect them to engineering workflows, and remove noise.
- AI-native and accountable. You use coding agents and LLMs to accelerate investigation, code review, and repetitive engineering work, but you verify their output. You think carefully about what happens when agents clone untrusted code, install dependencies, or receive access to credentials.
- Able to separate severity from priority. A score is an input, not a foregone conclusion. You consider reachability, existing controls, customer impact, and attack chains, then explain the risk in language that is legible to an engineer or business owner.
- Comfortable working across the business. You’ll collaborate with product engineers, Site Reliability Engineers, Security & Trust Lead, auditors, and external researchers without confusing partnership for pass-off ownership. You will follow findings to closure even when another team is responsible for the fix.
- Self-directed in a remote environment. You can take an ambiguous surface (say, secret rotation or dependency remediation) and learn how it works across multiple systems then turn it into a practical plan with measurable progress.
You do not need to arrive as the deepest expert in every part of this scope. You do need to be able to investigate an unfamiliar system, determine what matters, and bring the right people with you.
YOU WILL
The work spans hands-on application security, security automation, vulnerability management, and infrastructure partnership. Depending on where you find the greatest risk and leverage, projects could include:
- Build a recurring product security review program. Threat model new features, audit high-risk areas, review code, and build safe proof-of-concepts in isolated development environments. Work across our backend, frontend, APIs, and customer-facing integrations.
- Improve application security testing. Combine static analysis, dependency and secrets scanning, dynamic testing in development, and carefully scoped production testing. Use existing tools where they fit and build focused automation where they don’t.
- Own vulnerability intake and remediation. Triage findings from HackerOne, scanners, penetration tests, audits, customers, and internal research. Reproduce issues, assess exploitability and impact, track remediation, and verify fixes. Serve as technical lead for our bug bounty program while contract and budget ownership remain elsewhere.
- Turn security alerts into useful engineering work. Verify scanner coverage and automate ingestion, deduplication, enrichment, prioritization, and routing—so teams spend less time interpreting alerts and more time fixing important issues.
- Make dependency remediation safer and less manual. Improve scanning across our Python and TypeScript codebases, then build workflows to assess upgrades, stage pull requests, run checks, and route work without exposing credentials to untrusted packages or build steps.
- Make secrets routinely rotatable. Partner with service owners and Infrastructure to inventory application secrets, add graceful rotation paths, document provider-specific runbooks, and automate rotation where the provider and risk justify it. Expand our use of Vault-backed dynamic credentials and reduce the number of rotations that require a coordinated fire drill.
- Strengthen AWS security with Infrastructure. Evaluate and improve automated detection of risky configuration across identity, networking, compute, storage, containers, and registries. Turn findings into secure defaults, just-in-time access patterns, infrastructure guardrails, and actionable remediation—not build a second Infrastructure team.
- Support audits and raising the security floor. Partner with Security & Trust on external assessments, provide technical context, and ensure findings are fixed rather than rediscovered. Along the way, create documentation, paved roads, and lightweight training that helps engineers make safer choices without waiting for a security review.
- Take a key technical role in security incident response. Partner with Engineering and Infrastructure to coordinate investigation, containment, and remediation. Contribute to root-cause analysis and follow-up improvements, translating lessons learned into stronger controls and reduced recurrence.
Tech you’ll touch: Python, TypeScript, React, Flask, FastAPI, GraphQL, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Vault, GitHub Actions, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch and the security tooling you help us choose.

Artificial Intelligence. Actual Impact.
At Docebo, we’re using AI to change how people learn at work—and we mean actually change it. We’re an AI-powered learning platform that helps organizations create, deliver, and manage training all in one place. But our real mission goes deeper: we help teams move faster, work smarter, and focus on the work that truly matters. Our platform is built with intelligent, time-saving tools that personalize learning, eliminate busywork, and turn training from a checkbox into a superpower. The result? Better experiences for learners and real results for businesses.
We’re shaping the future of learning with a team that isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo. If you're excited by the idea of using AI to make work-life better for real people–you’ll feel right at home here. And it’s not just what we build, it’s how we show up. At Docebo, our values aren’t just posters on the wall—they guide how we work every day. We call it the Docebo Heart: trust by default, assume positive intent, and create space for different perspectives to thrive.
So… what are you waiting for? Join 900+ Docebians around the world and help us reinvent the way people learn, because learning never stops.
Docebo is a hybrid workplace, with employees expected to work 3 days per week from our offices. However, due to the niche skill set required for this role, we are opening this position to remote candidates as an exception to our standard workplace policy.
🌟 THE ADVENTURE AHEAD
At Docebo, we win in the enterprise segment by knowing our customers and running programs that generate real pipeline — full stop. This role exists for one reason: more enterprise pipeline, by any means possible. Not "this channel." Not "the approved playbook." Just whatever moves Enterprise accounts closer to a deal.
You’ll deploy strategic campaigns and activations to ensure our existing accounts expand. If you find yourself protecting a channel instead of the outcome, you're doing it wrong.
The objective is clear; however, the playbook to get there is yours to define. You'll run upsell and cross-sell programs, you'll make an underperforming enterprise partner a revenue generating channel, and you'll support some Enterprise federal focused activities. Every week or day will look a little bit different, but the goal and focus areas remain the same.
🗓️ THE DAY-TO-DAY
PIPELINE GENERATION (THE CORE OF THE JOB)
- Drive net-new enterprise pipeline through multi-channel programs — partner marketing, ABM, digital, field events, direct mail, coordinated outbound, or whatever works. The channel is secondary. The pipeline is the point.
- Build account-based programs using intent data and buying signals to prioritize in-market accounts and reach full buying committees, not just ad hoc contacts.
- Partner with enterprise AMs, AEs and BDRs through structured cadences on targeting, messaging, and pipeline reviews. You build trust and collaboration with the sales team.
ENTERPRISE EXPANSION — CROSS-SELL / UPSELL (YOU OWN THIS)
- Own the enterprise cross-sell and upsell motion: identify new buying groups inside existing accounts, get in front of the teams not yet using Docebo, and help accelerate in-flight expansion opportunities.
FEDERAL / GOVERNMENT SUPPORT
- Support enterprise federal campaigns. This includes content syndication, event execution, targeted account lists, and campaign support alongside product marketing and the broader gov motion. This is a support function within your book of work, not a standalone track.
ENTERPRISE PARTNER MARKETING
- Run partner campaigns with a small number of select partners that move ENT/Gov pipeline (think Deloitte, AWS, Carahsoft) — joint programs and co-hosted events. If it generates measurable, Enterprise pipeline, it’s in scope.
MEASUREMENT & ITERATION
- Using AI to scale what works.
- Measure everything — pipeline created, influenced, and accelerated, with clear attribution across new business, expansion, and partner-sourced.
- If something isn't working, you say so and change course. No sunk-cost loyalty to a channel or a partner.
💪 YOUR SUPERPOWERS
- Pipeline-obsessed generalist: 3–4 years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, at least 1 year with enterprise buyers (5,000+ employees). You've driven measurable pipeline and revenue across new business, expansion, and cross-sell — not just lead volume.
- Buying-committee thinker: Fluency in intent data, buying signals, and account engagement scoring informs how you prioritize and what you build.
- Sales trust-builder: You understand you win as a team with sales — in-the-weeds collaboration, pipeline reviews, and shared accountability, not just campaign reporting.
- Ruthless about scope: You orient around what gets results, full-stop. You can hold a lever without losing sight of the end goal.
- "I can figure this out" mindset toward tools: UserGems, UserLed, Influ2, ReachDesk, HubSpot, Salesforce, Claude, Outreach — bonus points if you've used some of them, but curiosity and aptitude matters more than a checklist match.
- Active AI practitioner: you're already applying AI anywhere and everywhere.
🎁 BONUS POINTS
- Experience running or collaborating on field events as part of an enterprise GTM motion.
- Experience targeting government or public-sector accounts.
- Exposure to AWS Marketplace or systems-integrator partnerships (Deloitte-style relationships) — specifically where you've made the partnership produce pipeline, not just co-branded content.
