About the role
We're hiring Cyber Evaluations Engineers to build and run the evaluations that measure cyber-relevant capabilities and safeguard robustness in our models. You'll design new evals, run per-release robustness testing, and dig into data on jailbreaks and prompt bypasses to understand where our safeguards hold up and where they don't. You'll also design many of the probes that detect cyber abuse in production and help shape the overall detection architecture alongside the policy team.
Key responsibilities
Design and run capability, uplift, and safety evaluations to assess cyber-relevant risk in new models
Execute per-release safeguard-robustness testing ahead of major model launches
Analyze evaluation results and communicate findings clearly to the team and to stakeholders
Design, prototype, and tune detection probes for cyber misuse

Collaborate with policy and engineering partners to translate eval findings into safeguard improvements
Minimum qualifications
Experience building or running evaluations, benchmarks, or test suites for software or ML systems, including delivering results on short, fixed timelines
Hands-on cybersecurity experience (e.g., CTF participation, vulnerability research, exploit development, or security research)
Proficiency in Python
Strong ability to communicate evaluation results with multiple cross-functional stakeholders or potential policy stakeholders
Preferred qualifications
Deep offensive-security or security-research experience, including experience building AI security benchmarks
Experience analyzing adversarial or abuse data (e.g., jailbreaks, prompt bypasses, intrusion or fraud telemetry)
Experience working onsite with government partners on testing or evaluation engagements
Experience with AI/ML evaluation frameworks
Familiarity with coordinated vulnerability disclosure practices
Experience testing pre-release or pre-deployment software or models under confidentiality constraints
Experience authoring detection content (e.g., Sigma, YARA, Suricata, SIEM rules) or building ML-based abuse detection
Active secret security clearance or higher, or eligibility to obtain one

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Claude is now good at security work. It finds and fixes vulnerabilities in real codebases, triages alerts, and reasons about how an attacker would move through a system, and it improves with every model we ship. Many security platforms build on Claude and we shipped our first security product this year (Claude Security).
You'll lead the cybersecurity product at Anthropic. That means setting the strategy, deciding what we build and where we partner, shipping products, and being the company's voice with CISOs, security vendors, and researchers. Some of this is 0→1 (our first-party products are a few months old and the next ones don't exist yet) and some of it is scaling what already works. Security touches nearly every team at the company.
Key responsibilities
Set Anthropic's cybersecurity product portfolio strategy and be accountable for the results.
Ship security products. Vulnerability discovery and remediation in Claude Code today and a broader set of capabilities in the future.
Represent Anthropic on security externally, with CISOs, vendors, researchers, governments, and press.
Partner with research. Know where the model falls short on security tasks and help build a plan to improve.
Work with safeguards and policy on model access for Cybersecurity.
Keep the cross-functional threads moving across research, engineering, sales, safeguards, policy, legal, and comms.
Minimum qualifications
You've spent meaningful time in security, whether building security products, running a security team, or doing the work yourself in application security, detection and response, vulnerability research, or offensive security.
You've built products or businesses from scratch and taken them to paying customers.
You design for where the models will be rather than where they are. You treat what the model can't do yet as a research target with a reliability bar, and you know what to ship in the meantime.
You have strong product judgment and enough technical depth to read a finding and tell whether it's real.
You're willing to do the unglamorous work.
You communicate well with CISOs, researchers, and executives alike.
Preferred qualifications
12+ years of experience building and shipping products, especially in the security space .
Fluency with AI products: evaluations, model behavior as part of the product surface
Technical background or experience working closely with infrastructure/platform teams
Strong technical judgment with ability to go deep on security and infrastructure topics
Structured thinking and ability to break down complex compliance requirements into shippable features
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$385,000
—
$460,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.

Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

ABOUT BASETEN
Baseten powers mission-critical inference for the world's most dynamic AI companies, like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma, and Writer. By uniting applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and seamless developer tooling, we enable companies operating at the frontier of AI to bring cutting-edge models into production. We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F https://www.baseten.co/blog/announcing-our-series-f/, led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
We're looking for a Marketing Technology & Operations Lead who can own and harden the systems layer of Baseten's Marketing engine.
Marketing at Baseten is scaling fast — more spend, more campaigns, more model launches, more inbound. The systems underneath (Our ESP, CRMs, forms, tracking, routing, alerting) need an owner who treats them like production infrastructure that cannot go down. When something breaks, it costs us time, pipeline, and trust in the data. This role exists so it doesn't break.
You’ll simultaneously build for the future and re-think assumptions about our tech stack in the age of agents. This is an offensive play that gives the rest of the team leverage and superpowers to hit our ambitious goals. This is NOT an IT or service role. This is a core member of the marketing team who implements technology to achieve outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the marketing tech stack end-to-end: ad platforms, email systems, tracking, pixels, forms, connectors.
- Build defense-in-depth on inbound: spam/bot protection, rate limiting, email/domain validation, sync gating — and the alerting to catch anomalies before they hit sales or leadership dashboards.
- Enforce data integrity: UTM governance, campaign membership, lifecycle stages, lead scoring and routing logic, field-level hygiene, canonical metric definitions.
- Operationalize the web request pipeline with our dev agency: structured briefs, tickets, SLAs, and launch-day runbooks instead of ad-hoc Slack threads.
- Systematize the request intake for marketing ops work — triage, prioritize, automate the repeat offenders instead of hand-servicing them forever.
- Partner with RevOps, Data, and Sales to close workflow gaps where revenue data leaks (program tracking, Slack-only approvals, contact-vs-opportunity data).
- Build or implement custom solutions as the need arises be they net new capabilities or AI-powered workflows.
- Implement your vision for the marketing stack of the future, with a clear POV and roadmap on how to achieve it.
REQUIREMENTS
- 6+ years in marketing operations at a B2B SaaS or developer-tooling company
- Deep, hands-on expertise in MAPs AND Salesforce — field mapping, sync governance, workflows, campaign objects; certifications a plus
- Has personally built lead scoring, routing, lifecycle stages, and attribution infrastructure — not just operated someone else's
- Has lived through (and fixed) messy data: dedupes, backfills, spam attacks, tracking outages; knows prevention beats cleanup
- Comfortable with tag management (GTM), webhooks, APIs, and light scripting/automation (n8n, Zapier, Python, or AI-agent tooling)
- Thinks in systems and failure modes: asks "what happens when this breaks at 2am on a launch weekend?"
- Familiarity with email infrastructure and deliverability
- Obsessive QA instinct — the type who catches the broken UTM before the campaign goes live
- Strong stakeholder management across Marketing, Sales, Finance, Data, Design, and external agencies
- Moves fast without breaking the data; documents everything
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.
Apply now to embark on a rewarding journey in shaping the future of AI! If you are a motivated individual with a passion for machine learning and a desire to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, we would love to hear from you.
At Baseten, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, or veteran status.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable law (by example, the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, where applicable).

We're looking for a Capabilities Researcher to join the team building Claude Security. In this role, you'll identify which security capabilities in frontier models are ready to build on, measure how well they perform, and work out how to make them useful to customers who are not security experts.
Frontier models have become substantially more capable at security work over recent generations, and they continue to improve with each release. That progress creates a set of practical questions: which capabilities are reliable enough to depend on, how they perform in realistic conditions, how they behave when an adversary is involved, and where their limits are. You'll be responsible for answering those questions through fast prototyping and rigorous evaluation, and your findings will shape what the team decides to build.
You'll also work on making those capabilities usable. Together with engineers on the team, you'll design the scaffolding, tooling, and defaults that let a strong model capability do useful work for a non-expert, and you'll stay involved as it becomes a product.
This is a research role on a product team, with a broad charge and real latitude in what you investigate. It suits someone who already has ideas about what AI should be able to do for security teams and wants the models, the time, and the engineering support to pursue them.
Responsibilities
Prototype rapidly to find define the AI frontier for cybersecurity work
Design evaluations that measure model performance on the work security teams actually do
Build the datasets, harnesses, and scoring those evaluations depend on
Engage with the cybersecurity community to help define where AI can make the most impact
Work with engineers and researchers to operationalize promising capabilities into something customers can rely on
Track how model capabilities for security are changing, and what that means for what we build next
Share findings that inform product direction, and partner with product leadership on priorities
You may be a good fit if you:
Have deep expertise in one or more security domains, such as vulnerability research, exploit development, reverse engineering, malware analysis, incident response, or offensive security
Have built AI-powered tools or capabilities for security work
Can get from an idea to a working prototype quickly, and abandon the ones that don't hold up
Are comfortable designing rigorous evaluations and interpreting the results honestly
Can write and communicate clearly about technical findings
Have 7+ years of experience in security research, security engineering, or a closely related field
Strong candidates may also have:
Published research, CTF results, CVEs, or open source security tooling
Experience with model evaluation, benchmarking, or red teaming
Experience building agentic applications
Familiarity with the safety considerations of AI in security contexts
Deadline to apply:
None. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$405,000

Qdrant is an open-source vector search engine powering the next generation of AI applications, from semantic search and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to AI agents and real-time recommendations.
Trusted by global leaders like Canva, HubSpot, Tripadvisor, Bosch, and Deutsche Telekom, we’re building the retrieval infrastructure layer for modern AI. Recently raising $50M in Series B funding, we are growing rapidly and committed to transforming how AI understands and interacts with data.
As a remote-first company, we believe diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences fuel innovation. Here, you’ll own meaningful work, tackle challenges, and grow alongside passionate individuals dedicated to shaping the future of AI.
We are looking for a Mid-Level Security Engineer to own the hands-on engineering and operational work within our security program. You will be embedded in the Cloud Engineering team, report into the Security Officer, and work closely together to identify risks, set priorities, and drive security issues through remediation. You will act as a security enabler across all Product & Engineering.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
- Run our public bug bounty program: triage reports, reproduce and validate findings, communicate clearly with security researchers, and drive remediation through to closure.
- Investigate reported vulnerabilities at the code level, including our Rust core, Go and Python tooling.
- Enable engineers to build secure systems: provide tooling, paved-road defaults, documentation, and practical guidance so security is the easy path, not a checkpoint.
- Partner with engineering teams to design, review, and verify fixes, and set clear security requirements on changes where the risk warrants it.
- Harden and maintain our GitHub organization’s security posture, including secret scanning, push protection, branch protection and rulesets, dependency alerts, and code scanning, in partnership with the engineering teams that use these repositories daily.
- Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts across AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and related infrastructure.
- Track and report security metrics (vulnerability remediation SLAs, MTTR, patch latency, critical findings) and keep reporting current for the Security Officer.
- Implement, configure, and maintain security tooling across our development and cloud environments.
- Support security incident response, including investigation, containment, remediation, and follow-up.
- Maintain clear, complete, and auditable records of vulnerability and incident work in our tracking systems.
- Build security automation and guardrails that scale across the development lifecycle: CI/CD security checks, policy-as-code, GitHub automation, and automated cloud security controls, so secure defaults are enforced by tooling rather than review.
- Participate in threat modeling and architecture reviews for new services and major changes.
We are also building out our ISMS, which creates opportunities to contribute to security-tooling evaluations, technical vendor assessments, and proof-of-concept work. Formal compliance ownership, vendor risk assessments, and customer security questionnaires remain with the Security Officer.
This is a hands-on technical role focused on security engineering, vulnerability management, and incident response. The Security Officer owns compliance, formal third-party risk assessments, and customer security questionnaires, allowing you to focus primarily on engineering work. On-call expectations are low: there is no formal rotation, though occasional availability for high-severity incidents is expected.
WHO YOU ARE
- You can read and navigate an unfamiliar codebase (Rust, Go, Python) well enough to validate a vulnerability report, trace its impact, and judge whether a proposed fix actually closes it.
- You write and maintain automation and security tooling comfortably, and can hold a credible technical conversation in code review.
- Experience triaging vulnerability reports or working with a bug bounty program, vulnerability disclosure program, product security team, or similar function.
- Practical knowledge of cloud and container security, particularly AWS and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with GitHub security features and securing CI/CD pipelines.
- The ability to investigate alerts and vulnerabilities methodically, distinguish genuine risk from noise, and recommend proportionate remediation.
- Clear written communication skills for working with external researchers and internal engineering teams.
- A self-directed approach and comfort independently managing a security queue.
- 3+ years in a hands-on security engineering, product security, or vulnerability management role.
Nice to have
- An offensive security background, such as penetration testing, CTF participation, vulnerability research, or exploit analysis.
- Experience working in an open-source company or contributing security improvements to open-source projects.
- Familiarity with cloud-native incident response.
WHY JOIN US
- A remote-first, international team working on cutting-edge AI infrastructure.
- A competitive salary with additional perks.
- Flexible working hours and async-friendly culture.
- High ownership and real impact.
- Open-source, engineering-driven culture.
- Choose your own laptop equipment.
For US-based full-time employees, we also offer a comprehensive benefits package including 401k match, health, dental, and vision insurance, plus flexible PTO policy.
Qdrant is an equal-opportunity employer. We believe the best ideas come from diverse teams, and we actively welcome applicants from all backgrounds. If this role excites you but you don't check every single box, we'd still love to hear from you! We don't want to miss out on great people because of a checklist.

About the Opportunity
As a Staff Engineer, y
ou'll own the
build-out of our security engineering
and DevSecOps capabilities: designing
and developing the security
products, platform services, and
SDKs/Agents that embed protection
directly into how code is
written, built, shipped,
and run.
This is a
role for someone with
real depth in security,
broad coverage across the
stack, and the engineering
muscle to ship. Just as important is
the ability to drive
adoption — security that
lands in complex,
fast-moving business environments
rather than sitting in a
policy document.
What You’ll Be Doing
Architect and build our end-to-end DevSecOps platform
and the SDKs/Agents behind our security products, covering code, build, artifacts, images, deployment, and runtime.
Lead runtime protection through RASP and Java Agent
— bytecode instrumentation, runtime hooking, and detection/interception engines using ASM, ByteBuddy, and Instrumentation, with continuous tuning for performance, stability, and compatibility.
Integrate and productise scanning capabilities
across SAST, DAST, IAST, SCA, code scanning, and image scanning. You'll embed tools like SonarQube and Coverity deep into CI/CD and close the loop from detection through blocking, remediation, and re-test.
Go deep on application security offence and defence
— designing detection, remediation, hardening, and counter-measures for XSS, SQL injection, SSRF, deserialisation, command execution, authentication/authorisation flaws, and API security.
Bring AI-native security engineering to life.
Apply LLMs and AI Agents to vulnerability analysis, rule generation, false-positive attribution, remediation guidance, security knowledge capture, and engineering automation — and build a coherent view of the architecture, mechanics, and security implications.
Embed as the security technical expert inside engineering teams,
driving security standards, onboarding specifications, release gates, risk tiering, and remediation mechanisms that measurably lift the security baseline and delivery quality.
Partner across engineering, architecture, SRE, QA, and business teams
on priority projects, solving the genuinely hard security problems and turning the solutions into reusable platform capability and repeatable practice.
What We Look For In You
Strong computer science and security fundamentals
— deep understanding of operating systems, networking, compilers and the JVM, distributed systems, application security, cloud-native security, and supply chain security. Both breadth and depth.
Expert-level Java,
with hands-on depth in the JVM, ClassLoader, Java Agent, ASM, ByteBuddy, bytecode instrumentation, and performance profiling and tuning. Plus working proficiency in Python or Go.
Substantial production experience with RASP, SAST, DAST, IAST, SCA, image security, and code scanning
— enough to design a capability, integrate the engine, build the platform around it, and take it to scale independently.
Real offensive and defensive experience.
You understand the root causes, exploitation paths, detection logic, bypass techniques, and fixes for common web, API, and microservices vulnerabilities — and can design from both the attacker's and defender's point of view.
Fluency with LLMs and AI Agents,
including a considered view on model capability limits, agent architecture, tool calling, context engineering, evaluation methods, and how AI is reshaping both security engineering and the attack surface.
Strong engineering execution paired with product instinct
— able to lead the design and delivery of security products, platform modules, and SDKs/Agents while balancing security outcomes against performance overhead, integration cost, and long-term operability.
Exceptional ownership,
cross-team communication, and the persistence to move security governance, rule enforcement, and remediation through to a clear result.
Nice to Haves
Security engineering experience at a top-tier internet company, cloud provider, or leading security vendor
You've led the build of a DevSecOps platform, application security platform, RASP, code scanning platform, or cloud-native security platform
Background in security product development, SDK/Agent engineering, vulnerability research, red team exercises, or purple team work
Shipped AI + Security work — security copilots, intelligent rule generation, automated analysis, or remediation recommendation systems
Perks &
Benefits
Competitive total compensation package
L&D programs and Education subsidy for employees' growth and development
Various team building programs and company events
Wellness and meal allowances
Comprehensive healthcare schemes for employees and dependants

WHO ARE WE?
Cohere is the leading security-first enterprise AI company. We build cutting-edge foundation AI models and end-to-end products that are designed to solve real-world business problems.
We’re training and deploying frontier models for enterprises who are building AI systems. We believe that our work is instrumental to the widespread adoption of AI and we are looking for folks that want to be part of that.
We obsess over what we build. Each one of us is responsible for contributing to increasing the capabilities of our models and the value they drive for our customers. Cohere is a team of researchers, engineers, designers, and more, who are all passionate about their craft.
We are a global technology company headquartered in Toronto with key offices in London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul. Join us!
Why this role?
We are on a mission to build machines that understand the world and make them safely accessible to all. Data quality is foundational to this process. Machines (or Large Language Models, to be exact) learn in similar ways to humans, by way of feedback. By labelling, ranking, auditing, and correcting model output, you will improve Large Language Models' performance for iterations to come, thus having a lasting impact on Cohere's technology. We are hiring Generalist professionals with broad backgrounds that span multiple consumer-facing or personal domains.
This is a judgment-driven role, not passive data entry. You will review, assess, and provide structured feedback across a broad and evolving range of tasks, evaluating, stress-testing, and improving our models on English-language data spanning multiple modalities (text, image, and structured formats such as JSON, CSV/TSV, and Markdown). This is a great opportunity for professionals with strong analytical skills to contribute to high-impact annotation projects.
Please Note: This is a part-time independent contractor position available within Canada only. We seek candidates who can commit to 16 hours per week at a CAD $30/hour contract rate. This role is BYOD 💻 (Bring Your Own Device, laptop). This position is remote.
As an Data Annotation Specialist, you will:
- Evaluate and rank model outputs: Complete preference and comparison tasks, assessing which responses best conform to project guidelines for accuracy, helpfulness, tone, and safety, and writing clear justifications for your judgments.
- Stress-test and break models: Probe models adversarially to surface failure modes, unsafe behavior, and capability gaps, and document reproducible cases that engineering and research teams can act on.
- Create datasets: Author high-quality prompts, responses, and exemplars to build training and evaluation datasets, following detailed specifications and editing machine-written or human-written outputs to standard.
- Build and apply rubrics and taxonomies: Contribute to the design of grading criteria and rubrics, then apply them consistently to produce structured, high-quality annotations across task types.
- Annotate and correct multimodal data: Label, audit, and rectify inaccuracies across text, image, and structured data, maintaining a high standard of data integrity and accuracy.
- Calibrate and maintain consistency: Participate in calibration exercises and inter-annotator agreement checks to align on standards, and flag ambiguous or uncovered edge cases rather than guessing, since a single misjudgment replicated at scale degrades a model.
- Adapt to experimental work: Take on new and evolving task types as project needs shift, applying sound judgment in areas where guidelines are still being developed.
- Report on model performance: Surface and communicate quality and performance trends in model and agent behavior, giving cross-functional partners clear, well-evidenced feedback on where models succeed, fail, and degrade.
You may be a good fit if you have:
- 1+ years of experience in AI data annotation, LLM evaluation, content moderation, research, or a related analytical role, with exposure to quality assurance, and/or preference ranking.
- Experience applying detailed guidelines to complex and often ambiguous content, with strong contextual and sociocultural judgment, sensitivity to nuance, tone, and register, and the ability to reason well in cases where there is no single correct answer.
- Comfort with ambiguity: a willingness to flag unclear or uncovered edge cases rather than guess, and to work productively on novel, experimental tasks whose definitions are still evolving.
- A sharp, curious eye for inconsistencies, subtle errors, and model failure modes, including the instinct to probe models adversarially and surface where they break. Familiarity with how large language models behave, such as hallucination, sycophancy, and instruction-following gaps, is a plus.
- Excellent command of written English and strong reading comprehension, with the ability to clearly justify your evaluations, including why an output is correct or incorrect, high-quality or low-quality, and to write clear prompts and exemplars that explain your reasoning. Bonus points if you are fluent in another language!
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, with the ability to maintain consistency across high-volume and monotonous tasks.
- Comfort working with annotation platforms and structured formats such as JSON, CSV/TSV, Markdown, XML, and YAML.
- Strong execution in a remote environment, including good time management, comfort using new tools, and the ability to work independently in a global, asynchronous team.
Candidate Journey
- Initial Screening: Our Talent Team will review your application.
- First Assessment: If selected to move forward, you’ll receive a multiple-choice assessment by email.
- Second Assessment: Candidates who achieve a passing score will be contacted by a member of our team to complete a more comprehensive assessment focused on their area of expertise.
- Video Screen: If selected to move forward, you’ll have a short video call with a member of our Operations Team.
- Final: Selected candidates will receive an Independent Contractor Agreement.
As an independent contractor, you maintain control over how you complete your work and may work with multiple clients simultaneously, although we ask you to declare if any of these are with a direct competitor of Cohere and maintain IP confidentiality of the Cohere project. Independent contractors are not eligible for health benefits or other benefits provided to employees. Compensation for services is provided to contractors by contractors invoicing for services provided pursuant to the terms of our agreement with the contractor.
It is important to understand that as an independent contractor, continuous work is not guaranteed. The client-contractor relationship is fundamentally project-based, meaning engagements may be temporary, periodic, or intermittent based on our organizational needs and project availability. As an independent contractor, you should anticipate fluctuations in workflow and, therefore, compensation for services when Cohere does not require as many hours of services in a week.
Prospective candidates, please be advised: this role involves working with human-generated and model-generated tasks that may involve exposure to not safe for work (NSFW) text content as part of data annotation tasks, including explicit, offensive, or other inappropriate material.

Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.
