Workplace: Hybrid
OUR STORY:
Every year millions of people are either filing their taxes in fear or giving up on their tax refund altogether. We're working on fixing that. Our intuitive app enables anyone, regardless of education or background, to file their taxes with newfound confidence.
Spread across Germany, Spain and the UK, the team at Taxfix Group with its brands Taxfix and Steuerbot, is a compassionate group of solution-finders. We speak our minds openly, and with over 400 professionals, including tax experts, developers, and IT security experts, we're rich in ideas and voices. The group has facilitated more than 3.5 billion euros in tax refunds for its customers since its founding in 2016.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Taxfix is continuously evolving its business model for scalability in the context of a subscription-driven revenue base. This shapes how we plan, forecast, and measure the business, and it makes revenue planning one of the most interesting places to work in FP&A right now.
As Senior Financial Analyst in the FP&A team, you will take care of the company topline model and help shape a scalable revenue planning landscape. You will report to the Senior Director of FP&A and work closely with Product, Marketing, Monetization, Data, and Accounting, with regular exposure to the Senior Leadership team.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own the company topline revenue model: design, maintain, and continuously improve it, with clear accountability for forecast accuracy.
- Lead the redesign of the revenue modeling landscape toward a scalable, and auditable structure with a single source of truth.
- Build subscription economics into planning: recurring revenue, subscriber growth, retention and churn cohorts.
- Own scenario and what-if modeling for budgeting, pre-budgeting, and long-range planning, translating business questions into quantified options.
- Drive alignment of key KPI definitions across Finance, Data, and Accounting, contributing to a single company-wide KPI glossary.
- Deliver revenue insights and analysis for Board materials and investor reporting.
- Partner with Product, Marketing, and Monetization on pricing decisions, growth cases, and ROI assessments.
- Set modeling standards within FP&A and provide technical mentorship to junior analysts.
- Drive automation of recurring planning and reporting workflows, leveraging planning tools (Pigment) and AI-enabled solutions.
YOUR PROFILE:
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or a highly analytical role, ideally in a high-growth or subscription-based business; consulting or investment banking backgrounds welcome if combined with hands-on modeling ownership.
- Proven track of owning mindset of company-level revenue or topline model, not just contributing to one.
- Deep familiarity with subscription metrics: recurring revenue, cohorts, LTV, churn, retention, and customer acquisition economics, beyond high-level financial KPIs.
- Demonstrated experience simplifying or rebuilding complex legacy models into scalable structures.
- Hypothesis-driven mindset: you form a view, test it against data, and defend it with senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills; able to translate stakeholders input into scalable model structures with model output designed for management and Board audiences.
- Expert in Excel and Google Sheets; experience with planning tools (Pigment a strong plus) and cloud-based finance systems.
- SQL is a strong plus; Python, R, or BI tools are welcome.
- Confident with financial statements and accounting principles, able to link revenue drivers to P&L outcomes.
- Experience mentoring or coaching junior team members is a plus.
WHY TAXFIX?
- A chance to do meaningful, people-centric work with an international team of passionate professionals.
- Holistic well-being with free mental health coaching sessions.
- A monthly allowance to spend on an extensive range of services that you can use and roll over as flexibly as you like.
- Employee stock options for all employees—because everyone deserves to benefit from the success they help to create.
- 30 annual vacation days and flexible working hours.
- A generous learning budget to support your personal and professional development and guidance from our internal L&D experts.
- Work from abroad for up to six weeks every year. Just align with your team, and then enjoy your trip.
- Plenty of opportunities to socialise as a team. In addition to internal meetups, our international team hosts regular get-togethers—virtually and in person when possible.

WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for an experienced Localization Project Manager — Japan Training Quality to support localization for Customer Education, helping ensure Notion training content feels accurate, clear, culturally relevant, and ready to use for learners across the globe.
You’ll work at the intersection of localization quality, training implementation, and program management, collaborating with Localization, Partner Enablement, Customer Education, vendors, and language specialists. You’ll help turn translation feedback, learner experience issues, and regional quality needs into practical improvements across training content, quizzes, LMS setup, and repeatable localization workflows.
The ideal candidate combines native-level Japanese language expertise with a deep understanding of what effective education looks like in the Japanese market.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE
- Own and apply Japanese localization QA standards across training content, including checking for accuracy, clarity, tone, terminology, and cultural nuance
- Support development of glossaries, style guides, QA checklists, review processes, and localization assets
- Become a go-to partner for translation questions related to Notion-specific concepts, product terminology, and training context
- Support QA of technical implementation in eLearning authoring tools and LMS environments (course files, quizzes, answer selections)
- Coordinate across Customer Education, Partner Enablement, Localization, and vendors to align on priorities, timelines, translation progress, and quality expectations
- Identify workflow risks and recommend improvements that improve translation quality and reduce time-to-launch
- Document repeatable processes that make training and help center localization easier to manage over time
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING
- Strong understanding of localization workflows, including vendor collaboration, review cycles, glossaries, style guides, QA rubrics, and linguistic QA
- Experience with Japanese localization QA, ideally for SaaS, technical training, customer education, or partner enablement content
- Ability to review translated content for quality, clarity, terminology accuracy, cultural nuance, and learner comprehension
- Familiarity with eLearning or LMS tools; experience with platforms like Skilljar or Parta authoring tools is a plus
- Comfort working with technical or product-specific terminology that may not translate directly
- Strong attention to detail, especially in learner-facing content, quizzes, course setup, formatting, and implementation QA
- Strong project management skills and ability to bring structure into ambiguous areas
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
We want all of our learners should feel like Notion training content was made for them — not simply translated for them. High-quality localization has a direct impact on learner trust, comprehension, launch readiness, and regional enablement outcomes.
This role will help Customer Education and Partner Enablement move faster while raising the quality bar: reducing rework, catching issues before launch, improving vendor feedback loops, and creating a clearer, more repeatable operating model for training localization
This is a 6-month, part-time role with option to extend. Preferred location is Tokyo, but we're open to remote applicants with strong Japanese market expertise and timezone overlap with Japan and Notion's International Experience team.
Availability: 20 hours/week

A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY & ACCOMMODATIONS
We hire talented people from a wide range of backgrounds. If you’re excited about this role but don’t meet every bullet, we still encourage you to apply. Notion is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected characteristic. Consistent with applicable law, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic's community spans developers building new products, individual Claude users, and practitioners and buyers inside enterprise accounts — from the staff engineer using Claude Code to C-Suite decision-makers. We're hiring a Head of Community to turn our current set of programs into a function that helps millions of people build real skills with Claude, measurably growing retained users and product adoption.
You'll lead and grow a global team that covers ambassadors programs, regional community leads, and enterprise champion programs. Your job is to give this team a sharp operating model and a measurement framework that ladders our initiatives to business outcomes, so users can get the most out of Claude. You'll build community across audiences, seniority levels, functions, and roles: enterprise buyers and executive sponsors, developers and technical practitioners, and the knowledge workers in between. This role sits at the intersection of Product, Sales, PMM, Brand, and Comms.
Key responsibilities
Own the global community strategy and operating model: the audience thesis, the portfolio of programs, and what's built centrally vs. run in-region
Lead, coach, and scale a global team of program and regional owners; hire the gaps, set the bar, and develop community-native operators
Define the measurement framework that replaces activity metrics: partner with Product and Data Science to define success metrics and segment the base (non-user → occasional → high-value daily) — with recurring retained users and product adoption as the top-line outcomes
Build community across the full range of audiences and seniority levels, with programs and voice tuned to each without fragmenting the experience
Connect bottoms-up adoption to enterprise expansion: architect the champions, train-the-trainer, and partner ecosystem motions that turn power users inside accounts into org-wide adoption, and integrate them into how Sales and CS run strategic account plans
Bring training, certification, enablement, and community help together into one engine that scales through champions and partners — so users experience a single path to skill-building with Claude
Partner tightly with Brand and Comms to keep sentiment and awareness healthy: define where community shows up in Anthropic's brand and how we best serve our users
Align community strategy proactively with product direction, launches, and pricing & packaging — owning community's job pre-launch, at launch, and post-launch, and proving it drives value for our users
Minimum qualifications
Have built and led a community or customer advocacy function at a company where community was a growth lever, not a cost center — and can point to the retention, adoption, or expansion outcomes it drove
Have led and developed a distributed team of program owners and regional leads accountable for commercial impact
Think in funnels and segments as naturally as you think in programs: you're comfortable putting your name on a metric in a QBR and defending how community moved it
Have connected self-serve, bottoms-up adoption inside large accounts to enterprise expansion, and can articulate exactly where community sits in that motion
Can flex your playbook across very different audiences — a technical, API-first developer community and an enterprise executive buyer community are different jobs, and you've done versions of both
Operate as an integrated marketer: you've worked day-to-day with cross-functional teams and have strong opinions about how community stays customer-first
Are comfortable partnering with Product and Data Science to define usage quality, instrument it, and hold your team to it
Write and communicate clearly, hold a room with both a Staff engineer and a CIO, and are energized by ambiguity and building at speed
Preferred qualifications
Run community or advocacy at a company operating both a PLG / self-serve motion and an enterprise sales motion at the same time
Built or led a recognized champions, ambassadors, or advocacy program at a company known for the model
Experience with developer tools, infrastructure, or AI products, and credibility with technical audiences
Built the measurement plumbing for a community function before including cohorting, attribution, and usage segmentation
International experience standing up or scaling community in-region (EMEA, Japan/APAC) with a clear philosophy on what runs centrally vs. locally
A track record of listening to communities and building user trust through hard moments alongside a Comms team
Background spanning more than one of: community, customer marketing, developer relations, customer education/enablement, or growth
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$400,000
—
$400,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.

As AI reshapes software, WorkOS is at the frontier of Human and Agent Authentication, Identity, and Access Control helping companies answer a new critical question: who are your agents, and what are they allowed to do? Our fast-growing customer base includes hundreds of modern software companies building the next generation of enterprise-ready products.
About the role 💭
We’re looking for a Design Engineer who lives at the intersection of design and code. You’ll sit directly with the Product Design team, alongside a group of designers who are AI-first builders, that work across a range of tools and constantly explore new workflows.
You’ll help prototype, build, and polish the experiences across the Dashboard, Admin Portal, AuthKit, Atlas, and more. You’ll help bring ambitious ideas to life by prototyping directly in code, validating with customers, and shipping production experiences with a high bar for craft. Your work reaches past the product itself: you’ll contribute to our design system and help improve how everyone at the company builds.
Responsibilities ✔️
- Build production-quality components and interactions across WorkOS products
- Prototype concepts, build new products, and experiment with new interaction patterns
- Raise the quality of WorkDS, our design system, by improving performance, state, accessibility, and interaction behaviour
- Work alongside product teams to test your ideas with customers directly and make sure what ships is right
- Work in the open, sharing work in progress early, pulling others in to get to the right answer faster
- Improve how the company builds, through design system contributions and agent instructions
Qualifications 🌟
- You have an eye for design details, care deeply about craft, and have a history of shipping polished products
- You can articulate why you made a design decision, not just what you made. You think through alternatives, weigh tradeoffs, and consider how your choices affect the entire product.
- You account for real-world complexity — edge cases, error and empty states, accessibility, and technical constraints — without letting process slow you down. You ship, learn, and iterate.
- You’re equally comfortable in code as you are in Figma/Paper and work across tools to refine your explorations, while also being excited to explore new tools and workflows and share what you learn with the team.
- You work AI-first and have refined how you do it, are able to achieve high-quality output, and share your workflows with others
- You spot design gaps across the product and fix them without waiting to be asked. You default to showing work early, sharing prototypes in the open, and pulling in others to get to the right solution faster.
- Experience working on small teams in high-agency, fast-paced environments
- Bonus: Experience with our stack of TypeScript, React, and Radix
- Bonus: Experience with developer tools, enterprise software, or other technical products
Benefits and Perks (US Only) 💖
At WorkOS, we offer resources that emphasize personal and familial well-being. We offer healthcare coverage for you and your family, including medical, dental, and vision. We offer parental leave, paid-time off and fully remote working arrangements.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Ramp's Brand team ships a high volume of ambitious creative across product launches, growth, events, customer marketing, and brand awareness. As the work has scaled, so has the need for a strong operating system around it.
We're hiring a Director of Brand Operations to build that operating system: the processes, milestones, and cross-functional coordination that let a world-class creative team do its best work and ship fast. This is an operations role focused on how the work gets done; it is not a traditional production-management role.
You'll be the operator who protects creatives from organizational swirl, sets clear ways of working, and fixes cross-functional breakdowns upstream so great ideas reach the world quickly.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own and build the operating system for how Brand's creative gets produced.
- Build the brand operating system: the processes, milestones, and ways of working that turn creative direction into shipped work.
- Diagnose and fix bottlenecks across functions. Find where work stalls, trace it to the source, and remove the limiting factor wherever it lives.
- Protect creatives from org swirl by absorbing cross-functional complexity so the team stays focused on the work.
- Automate with AI: use AI to streamline how work flows and cut manual overhead across the operation (intake, triage, status, reporting, handoffs).
- Partner with the creative leads so operations and creative are complementary, freeing creative leads to focus on creative.
- Be Brand's ambassador to the rest of Ramp: scope incoming work and pull Brand into projects early, at the right time.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Exceptional organization: you hold 20+ live workstreams and keep everyone on track
- A cross-functional root-cause instinct: you can walk into a tangled, multi-team workflow, explain why it's slow, and fix it. This is the most important capability for the role.
- A track record of building systems and automation: you've taken an operation from messy to repeatable and use tooling and AI to compress cycle time.
- A metrics-driven approach: you instrument delivery so progress is clear and provable.
- Hands-on, lean leadership: you lift both the operation and the people in it.
- A bias for better ways of working: you remove limiting factors and speed up delivery without adding process for its own sake.
- An operator-first profile: we care more about someone who can diagnose and fix how work flows than about a creative, production, or marketing pedigree. Strong candidates come from product ops, biz ops, GTM ops, finance ops, or chief-of-staff backgrounds.
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience scaling an in-house creative or content studio in a high-growth environment.
- Experience building AI-assisted operational workflows.
BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO ALL FULL-TIME RAMP EMPLOYEES (GLOBAL)
- Flexible PTO
- Centralized home-office equipment ordering
- Health and wellness stipend
- Budget for intra-office travel
- Weekly coffee stipend
UNITED STATES
- 100% medical, dental & vision insurance coverage for you, with partial coverage for dependents
- One Medical annual membership
- 401(k), including employer match on contributions made while employed by Ramp
- Fertility HRA (up to $10,000 per year)
- Parental leave: up to 16 weeks (birthing + bonding) or 8 weeks (bonding only) at 100% pay
- Pet insurance
- In-office perks: lunch, snacks, drinks, and more
- Relocation expense coverage to NYC or SF (if needed)
CANADA
- Group medical, dental, and vision coverage through Sun Life
- Life, AD&D, and disability coverage
- Fertility drug coverage (up to $4,000 lifetime)
- Group Retirement Plan with employer match (RRSP + DPSP)

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic is seeking a Software Engineer to help build the technical foundation for how Anthropic educates customers and enterprises at scale, and to shape what that even means when AI is the delivery mechanism, not just the subject being taught.
Your work will define how millions of people experience learning about Claude: how content is served and adapted in real time, how assessments respond to what a learner actually understands, how credentialing systems verify genuine competence rather than course completion, and how the entire platform evolves as fast as the product it teaches. You'll build the infrastructure that makes AI-native education real — not as a concept, but as a working system that people interact with every day.
You’ll own the technical vision for our AI-driven educational experience: the platform layer, enterprise readiness features, the data architecture, the AI-augmented pipelines, the integrations, and the delivery systems. You'll work with a handful of highly technical educational collaborators to own the technical vision and execution for how Anthropic’s education team delivers educational experiences at scale, and you'll build the AI-augmented pipelines and platform capabilities that let a small team of educators operate with reach and responsiveness that would otherwise require an organization ten times larger.
This is an engineering role for someone who genuinely cares about how people learn. You'll make platform decisions that are deeply educational, and you need the judgment to make those decisions well, not just implement someone else's spec. You'll interface closely with Anthropic's security, infrastructure, and data teams, and you'll partner with trainers and educators on the GTM, devrel, and education teams who will be your primary stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Architect and own Anthropic’s enterprise ready education platform and infrastructure — authentication/SSO, learner data models, content delivery, credentialing, and progress tracking — designed for scale, AI-forward features, and reliability from day one
Own the technical vision for how Anthropic delivers AI-driven educational experiences and shaping what's possible, not just building what's requested. You’ll determine what to build, what to extend, and what to replace as needs evolve
Build AI-augmented pipelines for content generation, real-time adaptation, assessment delivery, and quality assurance — working closely with the education team to understand what these systems need to do pedagogically
Design platform capabilities that enable genuinely new kinds of empowering learning experiences — adaptive paths, competency-based progression, AI-evaluated demonstrations of skill — not just digital versions of traditional courses
Interface with Anthropic's security, infrastructure, and data teams to ensure education systems meet organizational standards and integrate cleanly with existing architecture
Build platform abstractions that let non-engineers on the team configure, extend, and experiment with educational experiences without engineering bottlenecks
Make product-level decisions about how the platform works — you're shaping what the learning experience is, not just serving it
You may be a good fit if you have
7+ years of software engineering experience, with demonstrated ability to take a platform from zero to production at scale
Genuine passion for education — you think about how people learn, you have opinions about what educational technology should look like in an AI-native world, and you want to build it
A strong eye for quality educational content, with a sense of the complex systems that produce it
Full-stack engineering skills with particular strength in backend systems: databases, APIs, authentication, reliability, and infrastructure
Experience building and operating platforms that serve many concurrent users reliably
Comfort with ambiguity and ownership: you'll need to translate pedagogical intent into technical architecture without heavy specification
Experience interfacing with security and infrastructure teams to meet organizational requirements while maintaining development velocity
A working practice of using AI tools in your own engineering workflows — and genuine curiosity about how AI fundamentally changes what educational platforms can be
Strong candidates may also have
Experience building or significantly contributing to learning platforms, credentialing systems, or educational technology products
Background in or exposure to learning science, instructional design, or educational research
Experience with SSO/identity (SAML, OAuth), badging standards (Open Badges), or LTI integrations
Familiarity with building systems that incorporate LLM capabilities as core infrastructure
Prior work at a high-growth company where you built platform infrastructure that other teams depended on
Experience designing systems that non-technical users configure and operate
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$320,000
—
$405,000 USD
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit
anthropic.com/careers
directly for confirmed position openings.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

About the Role
Fivetran and dbt Labs is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies.
We're looking for a senior software engineer to join our Metadata team, which owns the metadata layer of the dbt platform — the discovery API, catalog, lineage, and run history services that let customers understand, trust, and act on what their data is doing.
You'll own the design and delivery of features end to end, working across high-throughput APIs and data models to make them faster, more reliable, and more capable. You'll write and review designs, raise the quality bar in code review, use the latest AI tools, and collaborate closely with product and QE to deliver work that scales.
Technologies You’ll Use
Python, Rust, GraphQL, Postgres, Snowflake, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, GCP, Datadog
What You’ll Do
Design and implement features and performance improvements across the Metadata team's services — discovery API, catalog, lineage, and run history
Develop, maintain, and test high-quality, maintainable code, and optimize critical paths for performance
Write technical designs for feature-level work, actively seek feedback, and clearly explain the trade-offs of your decisions
Participate in and review technical designs and pull requests, providing constructive feedback to the team
Improve test coverage with comprehensive unit tests and refactor code to drive down tech debt
Troubleshoot and debug production issues, and follow up on incidents with post-mortems and mitigation plans
Break features into tasks, structure and execute your own project plans, and contribute to sprint and feature planning
Collaborate with product managers, QE, customer support, and peers to deliver the best product with high quality, performance, and scalability
Participate periodically in the on-call rotation, and be mindful of security throughout your work
Use AI tooling — IDE assistants like GitHub Copilot, coding agents like Claude Code, and conversational AI — to accelerate development and to author and review SDLC artifacts such as TDDs, PRDs, post-mortems, and test plans
Skills We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience in the software industry with a passion for solving complex software engineering problems, including designing and building backend services and reusable components from the ground up
Experience working with distributed systems and cloud computing concepts
Demonstrated ability to write well-structured, performant, and well-tested code
Ability to independently lead feature-level software and design work that satisfies project requirements, and to clearly explain design trade-offs
Can identify design flaws in existing systems and propose improvements
Experience with code reviews, design, troubleshooting, and testing
Proficiency in a modern backend or systems language such as Python, Java, C++, or C#
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with continuous integration tooling such as BuildKite, and familiarity with observability tools like Datadog or Grafana is a plus
Fluent in using AI code assistants and coding agents to generate and investigate code, and conversational AI (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT) to research, author, review, and synthesize SDLC artifacts
Bonus Skills
Experience in data processing (ETL, ELT) and/or cloud-based data platforms
Experience building or working with metadata, catalog, lineage, or discovery/search systems
Experience with GraphQL APIs and high-throughput, multi-tenant data services
Familiarity with the analytics engineering workflow and the dbt ecosystem

At ClickUp, we're building the future of work: the first truly converged AI workspace unifying tasks, docs, chat, calendar, and enterprise search, all supercharged by context-driven AI. We are an AI-native company. Every team member is expected to leverage AI daily, and we evaluate AI fluency as part of our hiring process. Join us and help redefine what's possible. 🚀
Come lead the Identity & Access Management Platform team (IAM Platform) — the foundational layer that decides who can see and do what across all of ClickUp. This team owns the authorization engine, the permission and role model, authentication (SSO, MFA, SCIM, OIDC), sharing primitives, audit logs, and the core data model and APIs that define how customers' work is organized and nested across the product — the foundation every other part of ClickUp is built on. It is backend-heavy, high-blast-radius work. As we move upmarket, this is some of the most important and security-sensitive work we do — enterprises decide whether they can trust us based on how precise, predictable, auditable, and manageable our access controls are.
We're looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead and grow this team. Your mandate is twofold: deliver an enterprise-grade access management platform — extensible, configuration-driven, correct and auditable by design — and build the team that will carry it, hiring and developing engineers as we invest heavily in enterprise. You'll raise the access, identity, and admin capabilities enterprises depend on to an enterprise-grade standard and keep them there, partnering with a Staff engineer on technical direction while you own delivery, people, and priorities.
Just as important: you'll run this team the way ClickUp runs — AI-native. We structure work so AI agents can read it, route it, roll it up, and report on it, so a small team amplified by agents operates at a different scale. There are no status-reporting meetings; agents keep status, progress, and health current from real signals, and reporting is self-serve. We want a manager who has already used AI flows to cut noise, eliminate busywork, and streamline how a team operates — and who will push that further.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead, grow, and develop the IAM Platform engineering team — own hiring, mentorship, performance, and career growth, and scale the team thoughtfully as we expand our enterprise investment.
- Own the delivery of ClickUp's enterprise-grade access management platform: the authorization engine and permission/role model, authentication (SSO via SAML/OIDC and social/Okta/Entra, MFA/2FA, session and token management), SCIM provisioning, sharing and access-control primitives, audit logs, OAuth and API token management, and the core data model and APIs that define how customers' work is organized across the product.
- Set the roadmap and priorities in partnership with product, security, and engineering leadership — elevating the access, identity, and admin capabilities enterprises depend on to an enterprise-grade standard and keeping them there.
- Run an AI-native team: structure the work so agents can route, scope, and report on it; use AI flows to remove status meetings and manual reporting, reduce noise, and let a small team operate at scale. Continuously raise the bar on how the team leverages AI end-to-end.
- Partner with enterprise customers, GTM, and security teams on access-control and identity requirements, and represent ClickUp credibly in enterprise security and architecture reviews.
- Own operational excellence for high-blast-radius services: a healthy on-call rotation, safe migrations, reliability, and a clear security boundary where the server remains the source of truth.
- Uphold a high engineering bar — design and code review, testing, performance, and security-by-design — for the most security-critical area of the product.
- Collaborate across backend, frontend, platform, product, design, and infosec to ship coherent access experiences on top of the platform.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience building production SaaS, with 3+ years managing engineering teams (including senior engineers).
- Identity and access management experience is required — hands-on background delivering authentication and authorization systems: OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, JWTs, MFA/2FA, enterprise SSO, SCIM, and RBAC/permission and role models, ideally in a multi-tenant environment.
- A proven ability to use AI tools and agentic workflows to reduce noise and streamline how a team works — automating reporting, triage, and status, and freeing engineers to focus on building.
- Experience delivering enterprise-grade SaaS at scale, and working directly with enterprise customers and their security, compliance, and administrative requirements.
- A track record of building and scaling high-performing engineering teams — hiring, growing, and retaining strong engineers.
- Enough technical depth to lead architecture discussions, make sound trade-offs on high-blast-radius systems, and hold a high bar without being the sole implementer.
- A security-conscious mindset: you design access control precisely, treat the server as the source of truth, and think about correctness, auditability, and blast radius by default.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills across engineering, product, design, and security.
- Daily fluency with AI tools in your own workflow.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience owning IAM or authorization at scale — millions of users, multi-tenant, or workspace-scoped identity and token models.
- Experience designing configuration-driven or policy-based access models (RBAC/ABAC), authorization engines, or Zero Trust identity.
- Experience with SCIM provisioning, audit logging, and enterprise compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, and similar).
- A track record of moving a product upmarket and winning demanding enterprise customers.
- Experience introducing AI-native or agent-driven operating models to an engineering team.
- Experience managing engineers across backend and frontend, or managing other leads.

You'll spend your time on the hardest technical problems, and multiply the team through design reviews, coaching, and mentorship.
Technologies You'll Use
Python, GraphQL, Postgres, Snowflake, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, GCP, Datadog
What You'll Do
Lead the design and delivery of complex, team-level projects across the Metadata services, coordinating development across multiple engineers
Independently design and develop the architecture of new subsystems, and own team-level subsystems end to end
Use AI tooling and agents — across development and SDLC artifacts such as TDDs, PRDs, post-mortems, and test plans
Review and approve technical designs, ensuring they meet a high quality bar, and identify design deficiencies before they ship
Drive technical initiatives across the team's responsibility areas — discovery API, catalog, lineage, and run history
Set and uphold design, architecture, and coding best practices, and hold teammates accountable for code quality
Coach and mentor engineers, demonstrably improving the quality of code across the team
Write technical specs, document common components, and keep the team accountable for necessary project documentation
Fix and optimize critical parts of the codebase, drive incident follow-through, and advance the reliability and performance of the services you own
Participate periodically in the on-call rotation
Skills We're Looking For
8+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of leading complex, team-scope technical work to completion
Deep expertise designing and owning subsystems in distributed, cloud-based systems
Demonstrated ability to set technical direction for a team and drive multi-engineer initiatives across an area of ownership
Excellent design and architecture judgment; identifies design flaws in existing systems and proposes sound solutions with clear trade-offs
Writes exemplary, well-tested code that serves as a model for others, and reliably estimates and delivers sprint to sprint
Strong track record of raising quality through code review, coaching peers, and enforcing accepted engineering practices
Experience partnering with QE on test strategy and owning operational health — incidents, post-mortems, reliability, and performance
Proficiency in a modern backend or systems language such as Python, Java, C++, or C#
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and managing dev infrastructure
Fluent in using AI code assistants and coding agents to generate and investigate code, and conversational AI (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT) to author, review, and synthesize SDLC artifacts — and able to model those practices for a team
Bonus Skills
Experience in data processing (ETL, ELT) and/or cloud-based data platforms
Experience architecting metadata, catalog, lineage, or discovery/search systems
Experience with GraphQL APIs and high-throughput, multi-tenant data services
Familiarity with the analytics engineering workflow and the dbt ecosystem
