ABOUT MISTRAL
Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms.
We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Join Mistral AI’s Defense team to build software for defense institutions and industry.
We are looking for an experienced software engineer with strong engineering fundamentals and a background in data engineering or transactional, analytical or distributed systems. You will help shape the architecture, write production code and own substantial software components, from design through deployment and operation.
This role offers the scope and autonomy of a senior technical individual contributor in a small team. It is particularly suited to engineers operating at Senior or Staff level in demanding product engineering environments who want broad ownership and to stay deeply involved in implementation.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Design and build services for data ingestion, transformation, storage, querying and operational workflows.
- Develop shared data models, APIs and SDKs that help engineers build applications on a consistent foundation.
- Make authorization a core part of the architecture: define and enforce which users, applications and agents can access data or perform actions, with clear audit trails.
- Solve problems involving data consistency, schema evolution, concurrency, performance and failure recovery across services and data systems.
- Turn needs from our applied engineers and defense users into reusable software capabilities, making pragmatic choices about what to build and how to evolve them.
- Own delivery end to end, including implementation, testing, observability, debugging and maintainability in demanding deployment environments.
- Use AI coding tools and coding agents extensively to accelerate implementation, testing, refactoring and debugging. Help the team improve these workflows while maintaining a high engineering standard.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Strong practical familiarity with AI coding tools and agentic engineering workflows. You use coding agents regularly, can break complex work into well-scoped tasks, provide effective context, review generated code and validate the result through tests and debugging. You remain accountable for the architecture, correctness, security and maintainability of what you ship.
- A strong track record of building and operating production software, with substantial ownership of complex systems.
- Experience in data engineering or in building transactional, analytical or distributed systems. You understand the trade-offs behind data models, storage, query execution and service boundaries.
- Experience building products where access control, permissions and data governance are central to how the system works. Work on platforms such as Foundry, or systems with comparable requirements, is particularly relevant.
- Broad software engineering skills and the ability to move between architecture, implementation and production debugging. You are comfortable working across unfamiliar parts of a codebase.
- Strong proficiency in Python or another programming language, solid SQL skills and the ability to become productive quickly in a Python and TypeScript environment.
- High autonomy and sound judgment: you can turn an ambiguous problem into a concrete plan, make technical decisions and deliver useful increments with limited supervision.
- A collaborative approach to technical leadership through code, design discussions, reviews and mentoring, and a clear motivation to build software for defense institutions and industry.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience building a data platform or developer product used by other engineering teams.
- Experience with fine-grained authorization, multi-tenant architectures, data lineage or auditable operational workflows.
- Experience with self-hosted software, restricted networks or other demanding deployment constraints.
- Familiarity with LLM applications and their integration with data and tools.
WHAT WE OFFER
We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being, growth, and work-life balance. Benefits vary by country and may include healthcare coverage, parental leave, retirement plans, relocation support, wellness programs, meal and transportation allowances, and other location-specific perks.

About Wolt
At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe.
Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.
At Wolt, keeping courier supply healthy across every city we operate in is core to a great experience for both customers and couriers. As we've scaled to dozens of countries and hundreds of cities, planning & managing supply has grown from a market-by-market exercise into a global challenge: we need a system that plans well everywhere at once, from our largest metros to our smallest cities.
That's where this role comes in. As Senior Specialist, Global Market Planning, you'll help refine the models and tools at the heart of how we plan courier supply globally. You'll make sure the right supply levers are pulled in the right markets, and you'll help us learn which levers actually work. It's a role at the crossroads of data, tooling, and operations. It's for someone who is as comfortable designing a test or building a model as they are working out why a specific market is off plan and what to do about it.
You'll be part of the Global Market Planning team and will partner closely with local operations and courier marketing so that our planning always reflects the reality on the ground.
What you'll be doing
Develop the global planning model:
Help develop and refine our global supply planning model so it delivers robust coverage across both large and small cities, accounting for local context like holidays, special events, etc.
Allocate investments across markets:
Help optimize supply lever allocation, translating region and country budgets into the right mix of levers for each market.
Test and learn in markets:
Propose tests and actions within markets, in line with lever allocation, especially where we don't yet know the right answer or don't have enough data to rely on history. You'll work with local teams and analytics to shape the approach and turn what we learn into the next plan.
Build the tooling:
Develop tools that ensure the correct supply levers are being used effectively across markets to hit our targets.
Deep dive & solve:
Investigate problem areas, identify root causes, and turn your findings into corrective actions and better planning approaches.
Collaborate:
Partner with regional supply leads, local operations teams, and central teams (finance, procurement, product, analytics) on plans, performance, and improvements.
Improve how we work:
Test and prove new concepts in planning, acquisition, onboarding, and activation, and support the roll-out of global improvements across regions.
Our humble expectations
3+ years of experience in consulting, operations, analytics, or strategic business development in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and modelling skills, with a structured, pragmatic approach to solving complex problems.
Experience designing and interpreting tests or causal analyses, and good judgment about what you can and can't conclude from them in a marketplace setting.
A systems view of supply: you consider trade-offs between levers and their knock-on effects on cost, courier experience, and customer experience.
Comfort making and defending recommendations with incomplete data, and adapting your thinking when the facts change.
Proficiency in SQL, Looker, and Excel/Google Sheets modelling. Python, Cursor, and Claude Code are a plus.
An attitude for action and ownership beyond the obvious, always looking for opportunities to improve, with the determination to drive change.
The ability to work across cross-functional teams and manage relationships with stakeholders, both local and global.
A true culture champion who leads by example with collaboration, teamwork, and data-driven decision making, and who brings humility and respect to every interaction.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
Based in Berlin or Helsinki, with the ability to work in a hybrid model from our Wolt office.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE
Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system.
THE TEAM
Founded in 2011, Kraken is one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions across the globe. Offering spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services, with products built for both individual investors and institutional clients.
Kraken Pro is where serious traders work. Tight spreads, deep books, an API people actually build on. The people who use it are demanding, opinionated, and allergic to marketing.
We want someone who belongs in that room. Not a brand account with a person behind it, but a trader's trader who happens to be very good at building community.
Come here to build and grow this Community for us.
THE OPPORTUNITY
- Live in the trenches. Discord, Telegram, X, TradingView, Reddit, the group chats you're already in at 3am. You're not "monitoring channels". You're a participant, with standing.
- Be the fastest voice in the room. When a chain halts, a listing drops, or the market goes vertical, you're posting before the screenshots start circulating. Speed with accuracy, not vibes.
- Build the inner circle. Stand up an ambassador and power-user program: the market makers, quant desks, and high-volume traders who'll tell you the truth about the product. Give them a reason to stay loud.
- Run the room in public. AMAs, live trading sessions, feature launches, competitions, post-mortems when we get something wrong. Own the format, don't just attend it.
- Close the loop with Product. You'll be the first to hear that the order entry flow is broken. Your job is to get it to the PM with receipts, then go back and tell the community what happened.
- Write things people screenshot. Threads on microstructure, teardowns of new features, release notes that don't read like release notes.
- Prove it worked. Sentiment, share of voice, community-sourced signups, retention of the accounts that matter. You bring the numbers to the table before anyone asks.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- You trade. Actual positions, actual scars. You can hold a conversation about funding rates, maker/taker economics, slippage, and latency without reaching for a glossary.
- 3+ years running community or social for a product with a technical, skeptical audience. Crypto, fintech, gaming, or dev tools all count.
- You write fast and well. Short-form that lands, long-form that holds up under scrutiny from people smarter than the average follower.
- You have thick skin and good instincts. Crypto community management means getting yelled at with an audience watching. You de-escalate without going corporate and you know when to push back.
- You've built something from a standing start, not just maintained an existing account.
- You operate without a brief. Markets don't wait for approval chains, and neither should you… because you know where the line is and you don't need a committee to find it.
- You're comfortable with the ambiguity of a company that ships constantly and reorganizes around opportunity.
Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution.
We consider qualified applicants with criminal histories for employment on our team, assessing candidates in a manner consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
OUR COMMITMENT
Payward is powered by people from around the world and we celebrate the diverse talents, backgrounds, contributions, and unique perspectives that everyone brings to the table. We hire based on merit, seeking out people with the right abilities, knowledge, and skills for the job. We encourage you to apply for roles where you don't fully meet the listed requirements, especially if you're passionate or knowledgeable about crypto.
We may ask candidates to complete job-related skills or work-style assessments as part of our hiring process. These assessments evaluate competencies relevant to the role and are applied consistently across candidates for similar positions. Results are considered alongside experience and interviews, and are not the sole basis for any employment decision.
As an equal opportunity employer, we don't tolerate discrimination or harassment of any kind, whether based on race, ethnicity, age, gender identity, citizenship, religion, sexual orientation, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic as outlined by federal, state, or local laws.

About Nebius:
Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure.
Built by engineers, for engineers. From large-scale GPU orchestration to inference optimization, we own the hard problems across compute, storage, networking and applied AI.
Listed on Nasdaq (NBIS) and headquartered in Amsterdam, we have a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, the UK, North America and Israel. Our team of 1,500+ includes hundreds of engineers with deep expertise across hardware, software and AI R&D.
The role
Nebius is looking for a
Senior Data Engineer who in addition to building and owning data pipelines will also drive the design and technical leadership within the data engineering team.
This is a hands-on data engineering role, focused on designing, implementing, and maintaining reliable data flows for analytics and machine learning. Infrastructure, cloud, and Kubernetes are used only as tools to run pipelines reliably and cost-efficiently — this is not an SRE or platform engineering role.
You’re welcome to work in our offices in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Your responsibilities will include:
Core Responsibilities (Primary Focus)
Design, build, and own production-grade data pipelines using Python and SQL.
Develop stateless, idempotent pipelines that are resilient to retries, failures, and infrastructure interruptions.
Implement data transformations, validation, and data quality checks.
Optimize pipelines for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Collaborate closely with Analytics, Data Science, and ML teams to deliver trusted datasets.
Supporting Infrastructure (Secondary Focus)
Orchestrate pipelines using a workflow orchestration framework (e.g., Airflow or equivalent).
Package and run data workloads using Docker and deploy them on Kubernetes.
Use autoscaling and Spot / Preemptible compute for efficient pipeline execution.
Build CI/CD automation for data pipelines.
Use Infrastructure as Code only to provision and manage the infrastructure required to run pipelines.
We expect you to have:
8+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, primarily focused on building data pipelines.
6+ years of hands-on experience with Python and SQL.
3+ years of experience running workloads on Kubernetes.
Strong understanding of stateless system design and idempotent data processing.
Experience building and operating data pipelines in cloud environments.
Experience with workflow orchestration frameworks.
Strong Linux fundamentals and production debugging skills.
Working knowledge of spoken and written English
It will be an added bonus if you have:
Experience contributing to or working extensively with open-source software.
Experience building data pipelines using Apache Spark or similar distributed processing frameworks.
Experience building data pipelines that support machine learning workflows.
Familiarity with cost-optimized data processing (e.g., Spot / Preemptible compute).
Experience with relational and non-relational data stores.
Experience working with large-scale or high-reliability data systems.
Experience collaborating with strong Data Science and ML teams.
