We’re looking for two Senior Full-Stack AI Engineers to help us develop Newton, Aghanim’s AI product for partners.
Newton is already a working product with an established architecture. Your role is to ship features across the backend and frontend, build new agent capabilities, and own the engineering quality of what you deliver.
You’ll work closely with product and design to understand what partners need, translate specifications into reliable software, and challenge requirements when something does not add up. Product direction, design, and infrastructure have dedicated owners, so your focus is engineering execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver features from specifications and designs to production, covering database schemas, APIs, agent capabilities, React interfaces, tests, and deployment.
- Build agent tools and skills, integrate with Aghanim’s Dashboard API, and access analytical data through the data gateway.
- Version and test prompts, tools, and skills; evaluate answer quality and manage runtime costs and failure handling.
- Design modules and API contracts within the existing architecture, proposing improvements when implementation reveals gaps.
Tech stack: TypeScript, React, Cloudflare Workers, Durable Objects, AI Gateway, Cloudflare OS agent core, Postgres (Supabase), Cube.js, BigQuery, Vitest. Newton currently runs on Claude, with configurable model selection.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong production experience across both backend and frontend with TypeScript, React, SQL, Postgres, and API design.
- A track record of shipping features quickly while maintaining code quality and reliability.
- Hands-on experience with production LLM applications, including agents, tool calling, structured outputs, and quality evaluation.
- Ability to understand product needs, challenge unclear requirements, and work independently within an established architecture.
- Daily use of AI coding agents, with a clear approach to reviewing, testing, and validating their output.
Important: Commercial experience is required; personal projects alone are not sufficient.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with Cloudflare Workers, Durable Objects, or AI Gateway.
- Familiarity with Supabase, Cube.js, or BigQuery.
- Experience building products for games, monetization, or B2B dashboards.

About the Liquidity Platform
The Liquidity Platform provides cutting-edge technology that covers all aspects of crypto trading. We build low-latency connectivity to global crypto venues — across both CeFi and DeFi — strategy services for automated pricing and trading bots, high-frequency data capture and analysis, and state-of-the-art micro frontends for trading management. On top of this infrastructure, we build highly customized strategies to facilitate crypto liquidity.
Our engineering teams own the full trading lifecycle, from venue connectivity and execution to strategy, data, risk, and analytics. Our risk solutions are independent of trading logic, decoupled by design, and connected to 20+ trading venues across spot, derivatives, and event-contract markets. If you are a strong technologist excited about the potential of crypto trading and fully-automated systematic trading, we should talk.
About the Role
We are hiring software engineers across the Liquidity Platform’s engineering teams. You will design, build, and operate the systems that price, execute, monitor, and safeguard our liquidity-providing business 24/7. You will work closely with liquidity managers, product managers, and desk developers — developing strategies, services, and infrastructure using in-house toolkits — while growing capabilities in inventory and risk management, strategic problem solving, cross-functional collaboration, and effective communication.
These roles are open to Senior and Staff-level candidates; scope and title are calibrated based on experience and impact. Specializations span Delta One Systematic Trading, Cash OTC, Option Market Making, Trading Infra Service, Data Engineering and Risk & Analytics.
What You’ll Be Doing
Design, build, and operate scalable, fault-tolerant, low-latency trading infrastructure and microservices that handle 24/7 crypto market operations.
Build and maintain connectivity to centralized exchanges, DeFi venues, and counterparties using FIX 5.0+, WebSocket, HTTP/2, and REST — handling the real-world complexities of external integrations and on-chain data.
Develop and maintain core services across the trading lifecycle: strategy and execution engines, automated pricing and trading bots, order execution and position tracking, trade & position data platforms, and risk & analytics systems.
Architect and optimize high-throughput order execution with sub-millisecond latency targets, and build real-time market-data pipelines aggregating order books and price feeds across multiple venues.
Implement pre-trade risk controls, circuit breakers, rate limiters, position/PnL and risk calculations, automated alerting, and high-availability architecture.
Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and auto-recovery so strategies remain stable, scalable, and self-healing in a 24x7 trading environment.
Build trusted data models, reconciliation workflows, and data-quality controls with clear lineage, reproducibility, and documentation — delivering outputs for the trading desk, Finance, and Operations.
Profile and eliminate latency hotspots using garbage-free coding and lock-free concurrency; continuously improve system performance and user experience.
Collaborate with liquidity managers, product managers, desk developers, risk, finance, and operations to design, implement, and roll solutions into production.
Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and uphold scalability, resiliency, maintainability, and security best practices across all development activities.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Enterprise Knowledge Platform team builds the data and action layer that connects Perplexity's agents to the systems where enterprise work happens. Useful agents need more than access to APIs: they need to discover the right tools, understand an organization's data and terminology, and act reliably within its permissions. This team brings native connectors, MCP servers, and CLI-backed tools into a consistent platform, and builds the marketplace through which customers adopt integrations and partners extend the ecosystem.
This is a product and platform engineering role with end-to-end ownership, from designing connector infrastructure and semantic models to shipping the experiences customers use to discover, connect, and activate integrations. You'll build the runtime that executes tool calls, the knowledge layer that makes enterprise context reusable across connectors, and the developer and marketplace foundations that help the ecosystem grow. Working with AI Research and Enterprise teams, you'll turn fragmented systems into reliable, permission-aware capabilities that agents can use to complete real work. The impact is direct: every improvement helps customers put their existing software and knowledge to work through Perplexity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the connector runtime that registers, hosts, and executes native connectors, hosted MCP servers, and CLI-backed tools through a consistent agent-facing interface.
- Build the semantic and knowledge layer, including tool and entity schemas, capability metadata, relationships, organization-specific terminology, and reusable corrections, while preserving provenance and source-system permissions.
- Design discovery, search, and recommendation systems that help agents find relevant tools and context and help users and organizations choose integrations that fit their work.
- Build the marketplace and activation experience end to end, from browsing and recommendations to installation, configuration, admin enablement, and ongoing adoption.
- Make connector execution reliable and observable, with structured results, retries, idempotency, pagination, rate-limit handling, and recovery from partial failures. Own reliability targets, production monitoring, and incident response.
- Implement connector authentication, credential isolation, and permission enforcement, partnering with Trust & Governance, Security, and Backend Platform on shared policies and tenant boundaries.
- Build the onboarding and publishing path for internal teams and external partners, including schemas, test fixtures, validation, review, and versioning.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of software engineering experience, with a track record of owning complex backend systems from design through production operation.
- Strong system design skills, including building reliable, scalable platforms that integrate heterogeneous APIs and services with clear security and isolation boundaries.
- Strong proficiency in a backend language such as Python, Go, or Rust, and hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS and Kubernetes.
- Deep expertise in at least one of the following:
- Connector runtimes, API platforms, or MCP servers, including authentication and authorization.
- Schema design, semantic modeling, or knowledge systems that capture relationships and organizational context.
- Search, ranking, recommendation, or tool discovery systems.
- Marketplaces, developer platforms, or enterprise onboarding and activation experiences.
- Ability to work across backend infrastructure and customer-facing product experiences, translating complex integration requirements into clear APIs, developer tools, and intuitive workflows.
- Sound technical judgment in security-sensitive, distributed systems, balancing credential isolation, permission correctness, and failure behavior with performance, usability, and delivery speed.
- A track record of leading ambiguous, cross-team initiatives from architecture through adoption, setting technical direction for shared platforms, and raising engineering quality through mentorship.
If you're excited about this role, we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every qualification. We value demonstrated impact, deep ownership, and the initiative to turn ambiguity into results.
