We take play seriously. We’re looking for curious adventurers ready to find their party, fueled by imagination and drive to build what’s never been built before. At Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast, you’ll collaborate with passionate teams to reimagine our iconic brands and create experiences that spark joy, connection, and community through the magic of play. This is your chance to shape legendary play that lasts a lifetime.
Ever wonder who makes sure a Magic: The Gathering account signup, a Nerf promotion, and a Hasbro Pulse pre-order all handle a player's data the right way? That's this team — and this role is at the center of it!
Hasbro's Global Privacy team supports the whole company! We make sure our games, websites, and products handle the personal data of players, employees, and fans responsibly, wherever they are. We're hiring a Privacy Paralegal to own the day-to-day operations of that program.
This is a hands-on role with a lot of ownership. You will be the primary contact for most internal teams when they have privacy questions. You will develop processes that help a small team support a large company.
This role is currently based at our Renton, WA or Boston, MA office and requires onsite work 3 days per week, currently Tuesday - Thursday.
What You Will Do as a Privacy Paralegal:
Build and refine how privacy incidents and inquiries get reported, sorted, and prioritized and be the first point of contact for the rest of the business.
Work with Legal, Marketing, Central Technology, and Privacy Operations on technology compliance. This includes consistent classification of data collection purposes across many sites and products.
Collaborate with Privacy Operations to maintain up-to-date data maps and records of processing activities, and to handle the privacy tech stack — including consent tooling, request workflows, and assessment intake — as products, vendors, and teams evolve.
Sit down with engineering, web development, and marketing technology teams to learn how data moves through our sites and apps. This includes tag managers, SDKs, APIs, and backend systems. Work with them to implement consent, preference, and data collection requirements as the law requires.
Coordinate privacy reviews for new products, features, and vendors. Assemble the technical details attorneys need to assess risk. Keep the review moving across teams and follow it through to a decision people can build against.
Help build our privacy notices and policies, working with attorneys on language and positioning as regulations change.
Represent the privacy group as the main liaison to Product Development and engineering. Help integrate compliance requirements into website and platform workflows early, not late.
Write the playbooks, templates, and standard operating procedures that keep the program running.
Supervise the privacy program's budget and handle its invoicing.
Plan Global Data Privacy Day and other company-wide privacy awareness efforts.
Prioritize the privacy team's SharePoint documentation to enable a detailed response to an audit request.
Answer privacy questions from other departments, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and turn legal requirements into practical direction people can actually act on.
What You Will Bring:
College degree or equivalent experience; paralegal certificate a plus.
At least 3 years supporting a legal or compliance function, ideally in privacy or data protection.
Solid understanding of US state privacy laws, GDPR, and children's privacy rules (COPPA).
Experience with a privacy management platform such as Ketch or OneTrust.
Experience working shoulder to shoulder with technical teams — you can join a working session with engineers and leave with requirements that both sides understand the same way.
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Teams, and Jira.
Knowledge of functions linked to privacy management: handling privacy tools, conducting data mapping, and documenting processing activities.
Willingness to work with colleagues and collaborators in other time zones, and in different business units.
Comfortable with technical details about how data is collected, sent, and stored across websites, mobile apps, APIs, SDKs, databases, and tag managers. This allows translating a legal requirement into something an engineer can build.
Nice to Have:
CIPP certification (CIPP/US, CIPP/E, or similar).
Experience with cookie and tracking consent management, and website compliance reviews.
Drafting experience with Data Processing Agreements (DPA).

About the product
Total Battle is an MMO 4X strategy game with deep political systems and intense player-to-player interaction. Players build cities, forge alliances, fight monsters, and compete for dominance. The game runs on mobile and web, with millions of active players, which means every technical decision we make is felt at scale.
Why this role exists
Our framework team carries a wide mandate: we own the foundation that every game feature is built on — from the rendering and UI layer to the asset pipeline, build system, debug tooling, and developer documentation. That foundation has real problems today.
🎯Our mission: create a reliable foundation for product development — simple, fast, and high-quality — so that game features can be built without friction.
Right now we have two codebases (C++ mobile, C# Unity), slow developer iteration cycles, UI that only engineers can touch, and technical constraints that limit what we can ship. This hire is part of the team that will fundamentally solve these problems — and make sure they never come back.
What you'll work on
Your area of ownership spans the full client platform stack:
- Framework core and LibRocket integration
- Game engine layer and cross-platform support
- Tooling for artists, animators, and UI/UX specialists
- Build pipeline, CI, and test infrastructure
- App initialization and startup performance
- Debug tooling and observability
- Developer regulations and documentation
Near-term tasks in the backlog include: building an extensible asset loader, reducing nullptr risk, improving code testability, lowering the cost of adding debug functionality, and moving to a unified build pipeline. Alongside this, the team is validating an experiment that may lead to building a new client from scratch — a significant greenfield opportunity.
The north star
We're working toward a single codebase across all platforms, where business logic is engine-agnostic and platform-specific code lives only at the framework level. Features will be isolated modules with explicit interfaces and dependencies. Artists and animators will be able to see their work in the game without a developer in the loop. The game will react to player actions instantly — no spinners, no rollbacks. And no waiting on store review to ship fixes.
That's where we're going. Your job is to help get us there.
Who you are
We're looking for an engineer who goes deeper than the task description. When given a problem, you dig for the root cause before proposing a solution. You think in products: MVP first, iterate, measure against real metrics. You design APIs that don't become roadblocks six months later.
- Self-directed: you work from a problem statement, not a step-by-step spec
- Product-minded: you decompose work into deliverable slices and validate assumptions early
- Strong system designer: your APIs are clean, flexible, and future-proof
- Proactive: you identify problems others have accepted and propose solutions
- Communicates clearly in Russian: your day-to-day communication with your direct team
- Communicates clearly in technical English: written RFCs, code review, cross-team discussion
We're not looking for someone who wants a clearly scoped ticket to execute, or someone whose primary motivation is building gameplay features. This team builds the platform that makes gameplay possible.
Requirements
- 3+ years of C++ (17+) or similar experience in a client application at a product company
- Strong grasp of design principles and patterns (and knowing when not to use them)
- Experience with task decomposition and iterative delivery
- Proficiency in technical English (reading docs, writing RFCs, async collaboration)
Nice to have
- Active use of LLMs in your work to significantly boost your productivity
- Experience with game engines or framework-level development
- Commercial experience with Cocos2d-x
- Experience with Unity (C#)
- Familiarity with cross-platform build systems (CMake, CI pipelines)
How we work
You'll receive a problem, not a ticket. You're expected to explore the context, identify the root cause, propose and align on a solution, ship it, and then verify it worked based on feedback and metrics. Delivery is incremental: proof of concept to validate a hypothesis, then a full solution. Predictability matters as much as output.
After 12 months, a great hire here is fully autonomous — picking up problems that span both technical and product dimensions, delivering in predictable increments, and raising the capability of the people around them.

Job Description
About the role
Checkout.com http://Checkout.com is looking for an ambitious Staff Data Engineer to join our Data and AI Platform Team. Our team’s mission is to build a platform where you can create reliable, scalable, AI-powered streaming and batch data applications, and share data across Checkout.com http://Checkout.com to improve business performance.
The Data and AI Platform team is here to ensure internal stakeholders can easily collect, store, process and utilise data to build AI use cases and data products aiming to solve business problems. Our focus is on maximising the amount of time engineers spend on solving business problems and minimising time spent on technical details around implementation, deployment, and monitoring of their solutions.
We're building for scale. As such, much of what we design and implement today is the technology/infrastructure which will serve hundreds of teams and petabyte-level volumes of data.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with stream processing technologies (Kafka and Flink) to build a continuously available large-scale event streaming platform
- Leverage subject matter and technical expertise to provide leadership, mentoring, and strategic influence across the organisation whilst building strong relationships with engineers and engineering managers
- Build tooling (modules/SDKs/DSLs) and associated documentation to foster the adoption of the streaming platform by enabling upstream teams and systems to easily publish data and deploy streaming applications
- Implement all the necessary infrastructure to enable end users to build, host, monitor and deploy their own streaming applications
- Provide consultancy across the technology organisation to drive the adoption of the platform and unlock event-driven use-cases
- Participate, translate, run and execute the collection of requirements and architecture/design initiatives into action plans
- Provide hands-on support for all event-based systems including incident triage and root cause analysis
About You
While experience with our specific tech stack is a plus, we welcome candidates with a strong background in data systems who are eager to learn. The core remit of this role is to own and scale our event streaming capability, not to serve as a general DevOps or infrastructure engineer.
- Strong presentation and communication skills with a proven track record of influencing engineering organisations
- Strong engineering background with a track record of implementing and owning event streaming platforms
- Hands-on experience working with stream technologies, ideally Kafka
- Experience designing and implementing stream processing applications with Flink
- Experience working with cloud-based technologies such as AWS (MSK, S3, Lambda, ECS, SNS)
- Experience with Kubernetes (either self-hosted or on the cloud)
- Experience with SQL databases
- Experience working with Docker, container deployment and management
- Experience describing infrastructure as code (Terraform or similar) as well as designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent programming skills with at least one of Java or Python

Infrastructure & Orchestration: Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, FastAPI/gRPC, and cloud platform ecosystems (AWS/Azure).
Monitoring & Integration: Experience building real-time model monitoring, feature stores, drift detection systems, and integration with enterprise data pipelines.
Domain Competency (Scientific & Process Focus)
Deep exposure to applying ML models in either scientific/clinical domains (drug discovery, small/large molecule, computational biology) OR chemical/process engineering environments (API manufacturing, batch processing, SCADA/MES integration, process optimization).
Nice-to-Haves & Certifications
Academic background in Chemical Engineering, Bio-process Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM discipline.
Direct experience operationalizing ML models inside regulated GxP environments in the Life Sciences or Specialty Chemicals sectors.
Certifications: AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty, Databricks Certified Machine Learning Professional, or equivalent MLOps credentials.
What This Role Is NOT
Not a Data Scientist or Exploratory R&D Specialist: You will not be focusing on exploratory data analysis, academic algorithms, or standalone Jupyter notebook modeling; you are building, scaling, and maintaining production MLOps pipelines, inference engines, and model integration code.
Not a non-coding Architect: This is a 100% hands-on MLOps and software engineering lead role requiring direct model deployment, infrastructure creation, and technical execution.
Not a Fully Remote Position: This role requires a steady hybrid commitment of 3 days onsite per week at the client site in Indianapolis.

Telegram.
