You'll shape technical strategy across multiple teams, partnering with senior stakeholders to turn complex requirements into scalable, resilient systems. Staying close to the technical detail, you'll set the example for a portfolio of 40 to 50 engineers. You'll also join a global community of Principal Engineers across Xero, driving engineering standards, architecture, and best practices.
You'll Go Bold by setting long-term direction, and Go Together by bringing product, engineering and senior stakeholders with you.
THE TEAMS
Payments Products & Experiences: this portfolio is made up of our Get Paid and Growth teams, builds the checkout, payment methods, flexible payments and AI payment agents that help small businesses get paid on time.

Together they move billions of dollars across more than 150,000 transactions a day, a number set to double as we grow into the UK and US.
THE TEAMS ARE CURRENTLY WORKING ON
- Tech stack: microservices across web, API and data layers, built in languages such as C#, Java, Go or C++, running on AWS with SQL and NoSQL data stores.

- Future focus: a multi-year payments architecture covering agentic payment workflows, payments inside AI assistants and recurring payments.
- Global scale: replatforming payment methods and designing global rails and a ledger ready for new markets.
WHERE AND HOW YOU CAN WORK
You'll be based in Sydney or Melbourne, working a hybrid model that blends time together in our modern offices with the flexibility of working from home. - API-first thinking is second nature, and you're at home across web, API and data layers, with fluency in at least one modern backend language, SQL and NoSQL stores, and cloud-native platforms, ideally AWS.
- Legacy-heavy systems are a puzzle you enjoy, and you make clear, practical calls on whether to extend, migrate or build while staying hands-on through pairing, spikes and code.
- A strong interest in utilising AI tooling is essential, as you will model how to use these technologies to automate tasks and improve engineering outcomes.
- Your background shows a deep curiosity for growth hacking and a proven ability to design and analyse A/B tests that drive product usage.

Location: Philippines
Workplace: Remote
🌍 Remote | UTC+8 | Core collaboration hours: 12:00–6:00 PM Manila Time
Salmon is a technology-driven financial company building a banking and lending platform across Southeast Asia, starting in the Philippines.
We combine global fintech expertise with deep local market knowledge to make financial services simple, accessible, and useful for millions of people across the region.
7M+ app downloads. 2M+ monthly active users. 7,000+ partner stores. US$310M+ raised from leading global investors.
Manila-based, globally distributed, and hybrid-first — our team spans 45+ countries.
If you want to solve complex problems at scale and impact how millions of people access and manage money, come build with us.
Southeast Asia’s fintech moment starts here.
About the role:
Salmon’s content (marketing, product, and support) is written in English first. Tagalog and Cebuano (Bisaya) versions still depend on ad hoc help. We want to change it, and we're looking for a person who will help us.
You can change that. You will write for our users in their own language: the app, push notifications, ads, and the website. Furthermore, you will own the work from brief to publication and become the team’s authority on how Salmon sounds in Tagalog and Cebuano (Bisaya).
This is a senior role. You set the quality bar, build the glossary and your own part of our style guide, and make the calls yourself rather than follow someone else’s rulebook.
Done well, it could grow into its own small team.
What you’ll do:
- Write marketing, website, product, and in-app copy in Tagalog and Cebuano (Bisaya): the app, push notifications, ads, and the website. You decide when to translate, when to rewrite from scratch, and what stays in English.
- Adapt tone and register for audiences in different regions. Cebuano work grows as the product expands into new regions.
- Work with Marketing, Content, and Product: take briefs, challenge them, and deliver on schedule.
What you’ll own:
- Own the quality bar for all Filipino-language content, including improving what is already published.
- Review Filipino-language content before it ships, including as a backup reviewer for other authors.
- Build and own the Filipino-language glossary and your part of the style guide, aligned with brand voice.
- Define how Salmon sounds in Tagalog and Cebuano (Bisaya), and become the team’s authority on regional-audience nuance.
- Own the work from brief to publication and make the language calls yourself, rather than follow someone else’s rulebook.
- Lay the foundation for a Filipino-language function that could grow into its own small team.
What makes you a strong fit:
- Native or near-native fluency in Tagalog and Cebuano (Bisaya). You write in both, not only translate. Cebuano is required from day one.
- Strong English: you read our English briefs and spot what won’t work in Filipino.
- 3+ years of professional writing in Tagalog or Cebuano as part of a company team (marketing, content, product, media, or communications), with published work you can walk us through: what you decided and why.
- Strong editorial judgment: you evaluate quality, decide on your own, and give authors clear feedback.
- Understanding of how Filipinos use financial products and apps. We value product intuition as much as language skill.
- Experience building or contributing to glossaries, style guides, or tone-of-voice guidelines, and working experience with localization tools (Lokalise, Phrase, Smartling, or Crowdin) and Figma.
What we offer:
Ownership and flexibility
- Fully remote work with core collaboration hours from 12:00 to 6:00 PM Manila time (UTC+8)
- Company-provided tools and equipment
Health and time off
- Medical insurance support for you and your family through co-funding or reimbursement, depending on your location and subject to policy limits
- Access to an internal mental health support specialist
- 22 vacation days, Philippine public holidays, and 15 sick days
Growth and team experience
- Opportunities to learn and share your expertise through internal expert meetups, external conferences, speaking opportunities, and industry publications
- Company-sponsored trips to Manila to meet and work with your team in person
- High-performing teams can earn a dedicated beach house week in Southeast Asia
We believe strong teams are built by people with different backgrounds, experiences, and points of view. Salmon is an equal opportunity employer, and we make hiring decisions based on skills, experience, and potential.

We're seeking an experienced Program Manager to join Cohere's customer-facing Program Management team, with a focus on public sector and defence accounts in Europe, particularly in Germany. This is a highly specialised role requiring an individual who understands technical program delivery, the technical complexity of frontier AI models and the unique requirements of government and defence organisations.
You will be the critical bridge between our cutting-edge AI capabilities and the specific needs of Ministries, Agencies, and defence organisations across Europe. You'll navigate complex procurement processes, stringent security requirements, data sovereignty concerns, and regulatory compliance while ensuring our customers successfully deploy and scale our AI solutions.
In this role, you'll collaborate with our Strategic Customer team, Applied ML (AML) Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE), Platform, Product, and Go-to-Market teams, serving as the technical program lead and trusted advisor for our most sensitive and high-impact government and defence engagements.
Location: Germany
Eligibility: This individual must be a German citizen living in Germany and fluent in German, enabling immediate engagement with critical defense and national security customers.
Security Clearance: German security clearance is not required, but is a strong nice-to-have.
What You'll Do
Customer Program Leadership:
- Own end-to-end technical program delivery for Germany and broader European public sector and defence customers, from initial deployment through production scaling
- Serve as the primary technical program point of contact for customers, building trusted relationships with departmental CIOs, IT directors, and technical teams
- Translate complex public sector and defence requirements (security, compliance, accessibility, bilingualism, data sovereignty) into actionable engineering plans
- Navigate complex procurement processes, RFP responses, and contractual technical obligations.
Strategic Communication:
- Provide clear, timely, and objective communication across Cohere's engineering organisation, customer stakeholders, pubic sector and defence leadership
- Translate between AI/ML technical concepts and government-appropriate language for decision-makers who may not have deep technical backgrounds
- Present technical roadmaps and status updates to senior stakeholders including departmental executives
- Represent Cohere's technical capabilities in sensitive government and defence contexts.
Complex Program Management:
- Create and manage project schedules that account for public sector and defence timelines, security review processes, and approval cycles
- Identify and manage dependencies across government departments, security authorities, cloud service providers, and internal Cohere teams
- Navigate risks unique to government and defence deployments: privacy compliance, security, political and regulatory, technology and infrastructure.
- Drive alignment between product development priorities and specific customer requirements.
Technical Delivery & Execution:
- Ensure on-time delivery of AI solutions that meet security, privacy, accessibility, and performance standards
- Coordinate technical work across multiple teams: model customisation, security hardening, integration with government systems, bilingual support
- Establish governance checkpoints appropriate for high-stakes government and defence deployments
- Problem-solve complex technical challenges in air-gapped, on-premises, or highly regulated environments.
You May Be a Good Fit If:
Required Experience:
- 6+ years of experience as a customer-facing Technical or Engineering Program Manager in AI/ML consulting, technology transformation, or enterprise software delivery.
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management.
- Experience working with government, defence, or heavily regulated customers.

Technical Background:
- Strong understanding of enterprise software deployment architectures (cloud, on-premises, hybrid, air-gapped)
- Working knowledge of or experience with modern AI: LLMs, agentic systems, MCP, RAG, fine-tuning, evals, and responsible AI would be a strong differentiator
- Comfortable discussing API integrations, model inference, data pipelines, and ML operations with technical stakeholders.
Government & Defence Acumen:
- Deep understanding of how government and defence organisations procure, evaluate, and deploy technology
- Familiarity with European government requirements: data sovereignty, privacy laws (Privacy Act), accessibility standards, official languages obligations, security classifications
- Understanding of defence and national security considerations in AI deployment
- Experience with Algorithmic Impact Assessments or AI ethics frameworks is a strong asset
- Eligible to obtain a German security clearance
Nice to Have:
- Active German security clearance
- Bilingual (English/German) proficiency
- Background in or strong familiarity with European defence, intelligence, or critical infrastructure sectors
- Experience with GC Cloud services (Azure, AWS GovCloud) or Protected B/C environments
- Project management certification (PMP, PgMP) or government-specific methodologies.
Security Clearance Requirements
This role strongly prefers eligibility for German government security clearance.
We are looking for candidates eligible for German government clearance, meaning that they require German citizenship. In addition, this individual is required to be based in Germany and be fluent in German as this will enable immediate engagement with critical defence and national security customers.
What Makes This Role Unique
This isn't typical program management - it's a highly specialised role at the intersection of frontier AI, national security, and public sector digital transformation. You'll work on some of Canada's most sensitive and impactful AI deployments, helping government organisations harness cutting-edge technology while maintaining the highest standards of security, ethics, and accountability.
If you're passionate about responsible AI adoption, understand the unique constraints and opportunities within government, and want to have an outsized impact on how Canada leverages AI to serve its citizens, this role is for you.

You bring sound judgement to the highest-impact issues, while setting the global frameworks, standards, and tools that let the wider business manage routine matters with confidence and consistency.
This is a functional leadership role with no direct reports, suited to someone who leads through expertise, influence, and delivery rather than headcount. You will set the direction for global employment legal support, work closely with regional Legal teams and other REAL (Risk, Ethics, Advocacy and Legal) specialists, and personally take on the matters that call for deep experience and judgement. You will also partner with Employee Relations on the legal dimensions of sensitive investigations and employee matters, complementing their operational expertise with strategic legal advice.
This role reports to the SVP/EGM Legal and can be based in San Mateo, Melbourne or Sydney.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- PX and senior leaders see you as a trusted strategic partner on workforce strategy and change.
- Xero has clear, scalable and practical global employment frameworks.
- Complex employment risks are identified early and managed consistently.
- Legal support is technology-enabled, using AI tools and self-service modalities where appropriate.
- External counsel is used strategically, with stronger internal capability and better cost control.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Essential
- Substantial international employment experience and proven experience supporting labour and employment in a global organisation, advising across multiple jurisdictions and operating effectively across regions and time zones.
- Experience in New Zealand, Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom is highly desirable.
- Deep expertise in global employment and labour law, including complex investigations, disputes, restructures and workforce strategy.
- Experience directing others’ work without direct reports, and influencing without formal authority.
- A track record of advising senior PX/HR leaders and business executives as a strategic partner.
- Strong judgement, commercial awareness and the ability to explain complex issues in plain language.
- Experience managing external employment counsel and building scalable legal processes and resources.
- The ability to influence without formal authority, and to roll up your sleeves and do the work personally.
Strongly preferred
- Breadth beyond employment law, such as litigation, transactional work or corporate governance. You are a T-shaped generalist, able to step into work outside your core area.
- Experience in a mid-market technology company of a similar size to Xero, or another fast-moving global business.
- An interest in using data, technology and AI to improve legal support.

Director, NeoCloud Sales (Sell-To)
Backblaze (Nasdaq: BLZE)
| Reports to the Chief Revenue Officer | Remote, US-based
Salary range:
$195,000 - $240,000 plus variable pay and RSUs. Target OTE $325,000 - $400,000 60:40 base to variable.
How We Got Here
We started by building storage servers from scratch in a Palo Alto apartment to save 90% on hardware. Turns out hard constraints make for pretty good engineering. That discipline forged a platform that performs as well or better than competitors, scales to multi-exabyte workloads, and costs a fraction of what AWS or Google charge. AI infrastructure runs on data. Storage gets hard at scale. We've been breaking, rebuilding, and improving that storage layer for 20 years.
Today, the world's leading AI infrastructure providers, neoclouds, and data-intensive businesses run on Backblaze. Our platform includes:
B2 Overdrive
- high-throughput object storage engineered for AI infrastructure, GPU workloads, and massive-scale data pipelines
B2 Neo
- white-label enterprise cloud storage powering neocloud platforms for AI, HPC, and media
B2 Cloud Storage
- S3-compatible object storage with predictable pricing, free egress, and no lock-in
Computer Backup
- automatic, continuous endpoint backup for Macs and PCs
500,000+ customers. 175 countries. Nasdaq: BLZE. backblaze.com
The Role
NeoClouds are GPU-rich, AI-native infrastructure providers, and they need fast, affordable, S3-compatible storage at scale. Backblaze is the high-performance capacity storage layer for AI. We have mapped the top 80 NeoClouds and Frontier Labs worldwide, about 70% in the US and 30% in EMEA, and we already have traction in the US, UK, and France.
You will build and run this segment as its own business inside the CRO organization: your own quota, your own team, and the mandate to decide how Backblaze wins each account. These deals look more like telecom or federal sales than SaaS. Cycles are long, buyers sit at the CXO level, and contracts run three to five years. Often Backblaze sits behind the NeoCloud's own storage service, so the work continues after signature, in SLAs, support, and integration.
This is not a territory to inherit. If your instinct is to wait for a playbook, or to hand the CXO calls to someone more senior, this isn't the right fit. If your instinct is to pick the first five accounts, write the pursuit plan, and take the call yourself, keep reading.
What You Will Own & Build
Own
Logos.
Land and grow five of the Top 25 NeoClouds as meaningful customers, and land 25 more from the rest of the list.
TCV.
Deliver $20M in total contract value across the base. We measure on TCV because these customers sign multi-year commitments.
Expansion.
Grow the existing NeoCloud base outside committed contracts such as CoreWeave.
Pipeline and forecast.
Own both for the whole segment, and carry a named-account number yourself.
Your team.
Hire, onboard, and coach a growing team of BD Pursuit Specialists / AEs. Set the KPIs and ARR-conversion targets they are paid against.
Build
You build this with the Field CTO, Strategic Partnerships, an SE and Cloud Operations beside you, and with your AEs as they join.
Route to market.
Own the Sell-To motion for the segment, with its own plays for each type of NeoCloud. No two NeoClouds behave alike, so you choose the play for each account. Write the pursuit plan for the Top 25 NeoClouds: the order we go after them, the buying group in each, and the play for each.
Sell-With.
This is Strategic Partnerships' motion, and you work it in tandem with them, not underneath them, on OEM and ISV flywheels with partners such as NVIDIA, Super Micro, Weka, VAST, and AMD. When a NeoCloud wants help selling Backblaze storage to its own customers, you and Strategic Partnerships decide together how to staff it.
Deal structure.
Negotiate SLAs, IP, revenue share, and infrastructure-as-a-service terms when Backblaze runs behind a NeoCloud's service.
Internal selling.
Bring our Executives (including the CEO), Cloud Operations and Engineering into each integration, and keep them engaged after signature. This is as much internal selling as external.
Executive sponsorship.
Secure a Backblaze executive sponsor and a customer executive sponsor for every priority account, then run CXO conversations without senior leadership in the room.
Transition.
Take over open NeoCloud opportunities and existing coverage from the current BD owners by the end of Q1. Exceptions are handled case by case.
What We Are Looking For
Infrastructure fluency.
You know or can get fluent in the NeoCloud infrastructure stack: GPU compute, networking, storage, and orchestration. You can spar with our Field CTO on architecture without needing drive-level detail. Storage experience is a plus.
Executive presence.
You have built SVP, CTO, and CXO relationships and can run those meetings alone. You have landed and expanded multi-year committed contracts.
Product depth.
You can work with senior product and development teams at a NeoCloud and hold a strategic conversation, not only a commercial one.
OEM and ISV deal experience.
You have negotiated service integration, SLAs, IP, revenue share, and infrastructure-as-a-service structures. You have done these deals, not watched them.
Seller of record.
You have carried a quota and closed deals with your name on them.
Leadership.
You have led a small, senior, quota-carrying team and still carry a number yourself. A Specialist team in a large organization, esp in early days a plus.
Executive sponsorship.
You win sponsors on both sides of the table.
A Plus (though not essential)
Experience selling to NeoClouds, GPU clouds, hyperscalers, cloud providers, or AI infrastructure companies
Experience building a new segment or coverage model from scratch
Familiarity with S3-compatible object storage, data egress economics, and AI/ML data pipelines
This Is Not the Role for You If
You want to run an established territory rather than build a new segment
You no longer carry a number yourself
You need senior leadership in the room to open or close CXO conversations
You see SLA, IP, and revenue-share terms as legal's problem, not yours
You treat partners and Cloud Operations as a handoff rather than as part of the deal
How We Will Interview
We will ask you to bring a plan on how you'd build the market for NeoCloud, and tell us what you would do differently. We will ask about how you worked on building executive relationships . We will ask for your own view of how you would approach this role. You will hold cross-functional conversations with the Field CTO/ VP of our SE Team and Strategic Partnerships, because you will work beside them every day. And you may go through a panel, so we can see how you work.

9-Month Contract Position
About the Job:
We're looking for a Regional Growth Marketing Manager to drive pipeline growth through digital campaigns and paid channels, in close collaboration with global marketing and regional Sales. This is a senior, individual-contributor position for someone who knows how great regional digital marketing programs are built in B2B SaaS. The role spans tactics through hands-on execution, shaping and building the growth approach for EMEA and APJ rather than running a standard playbook.
You'll join a growing international marketing team in an essential role, reporting to the Director, International Marketing. You'll take ownership of the regional digital strategy and execution in close collaboration with the global Marketing teams.
Responsibilities:
Drive regional new-logo pipeline growth through digital and paid channels in EMEA and APJ.
Partner with the global team on paid and digital campaign execution (SEM, paid social, and paid ABM), helping set regional strategy from planning through execution, optimisation and reporting.
Drive the digital ABM motion for the region, turning Sales input into actual targeted, paid campaigns.
Adapt global campaigns for regional messaging, rather than deploying generic global assets.
Build and own region-native digital content, platform launches, and offerings, doubling down on successful programmes.
Surface and mitigate region-specific risks, helping ensure efficient media spend.
Own digital pipeline reporting and ROI for the regions, tracking leads, conversion, and spend against campaigns, and reporting results back to leadership.
Partner closely with EMEA and APJ Sales and SDR teams to align digital campaigns with account priorities and pipeline targets.
Operate independently: define approach, channel mix, regional tools or platforms, and budget requests in line with regional Sales needs and the wider marketing strategy.
Qualifications:
8+ years' experience in a digital/growth marketing role with a focus on ABM, paid digital, and demand generation for B2B SaaS in EMEA and APJ.
Track record owning digital pipeline growth end-to-end: strategy, execution, budget, and reporting, with close interaction with Sales.
Direct experience running paid social, SEM, and ABM programmes in regions, with clear attribution back to pipeline and revenue.
Hands-on experience with a CRM (Salesforce or similar), a marketing automation platform (Marketo, HubSpot, or similar), and ABM/paid tools (6sense, Demandbase, or similar).
Experience adapting global campaigns for regional markets: localisation, messaging adaptation, regional content, as well as creating their own regional campaigns.
Experience working across EMEA and APJ; an additional language is a plus.
Cultural awareness and sensitivity operating across international markets.
Confident self-starter and communicator with a positive, hands-on and can-do attitude; comfortable operating independently and driving outcomes autonomously.
