Who We Are
Global Marts builds the technology behind DoorDash's own grocery and retail operations across DashMart, Wolt Market, and Deliveroo Hop.
Our systems decide what products our stores stock, how much inventory to purchase, which vendors to source from, how warehouses execute orders, and what prices customers see.
We build everything from forecasting and replenishment systems to vendor management, warehouse execution, labor scheduling, space optimization, and pricing. Our in-house forecasting platform has replaced third-party solutions and now powers production globally.
This isn't a traditional CRUD backend environment. Much of our work involves designing new systems that solve complex operational problems at global scale.
What You'll Do
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll work primarily with Go or Kotlin and take end-to-end ownership of production systems and complex technical initiatives.
You'll:
Design, build, and operate backend systems that support inventory, purchasing, warehouse operations, pricing, and fulfillment.
Own technical solutions from problem definition and design through implementation, deployment, monitoring, and production operation.
Work on data-heavy systems where software engineering meets forecasting, optimization, and operational decision-making.
Turn complex and sometimes ambiguous business problems into pragmatic, scalable technical solutions.
Make and influence architectural decisions, balancing scalability, reliability, development speed, and long-term maintainability.
Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, data scientists, and operations teams to shape solutions and technical direction.
Improve the reliability, observability, scalability, and operational excellence of the systems you own.
Support and raise the engineering standards of the team through technical discussions, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
Use AI-assisted development tools effectively while applying strong engineering judgment to validate their output, improve development velocity, and identify opportunities where AI can create additional leverage.
How We Work
Autonomy & Ownership:
Engineers have end-to-end responsibility for their services, from design and implementation to production and on-call.
Collaboration:
Architecture and technical direction are shaped together. Senior engineers are expected to contribute actively to decisions and help others arrive at strong solutions.
Scalability & Simplicity:
We value pragmatic solutions that solve today's problems while providing a sustainable foundation for tomorrow.
Impact:
We work closely with Product, Data Science, and Operations, connecting technical decisions directly to real-world retail and operational outcomes.
Our Tech Stack
Our primary backend languages are Go and Kotlin.
We also use Kafka, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Snowflake, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, gRPC, GitHub Actions, and modern cloud infrastructure.
You don't need experience with every technology in our stack. We're more interested in strong backend and distributed systems fundamentals and your ability to learn and make sound technical decisions.
Our Humble Expectations
We're looking for engineers who:
Have strong experience designing, building, and operating production backend systems.
Have professional experience with Go, Kotlin, or another modern backend language.
Have experience owning services end-to-end, including design, implementation, deployment, monitoring, reliability, and production operations.
Have strong knowledge of backend and distributed systems fundamentals, including APIs, databases, asynchronous processing, failure handling, testing, and observability.
Are comfortable working with data-heavy systems and technologies such as Kafka, Snowflake, or similar streaming and data infrastructure.
Can navigate ambiguous problems, break them into actionable steps, make appropriate technical trade-offs, and deliver incrementally.
Can influence technical decisions beyond their immediate tasks and collaborate effectively with engineers and cross-functional partners.
Communicate technical concepts and decisions clearly and concisely.
Use AI-assisted development tools effectively in their everyday engineering workflow while critically evaluating generated solutions and taking full ownership of the resulting code and technical decisions.
Look for opportunities to use AI to improve engineering productivity and solve problems more effectively, while understanding where human engineering judgment remains essential.
Nice to Have
Experience in one or more of the following is a plus:
Forecasting, optimization, scheduling, recommendation, or decisioning systems.
Grocery, retail, logistics, supply chain, or warehouse technology.
ERP, vendor management, procurement, or workforce management integrations.
Replacing third-party or legacy platforms with internally built systems.
High-throughput event-driven or streaming architectures.
Why Join Us?
You'll help build the technology that powers DoorDash's global grocery and retail business, solving complex operational challenges across inventory, forecasting, fulfillment, pricing, and supply chain.
You'll have significant ownership over the systems you build and the opportunity to influence technical direction while working closely with experienced engineers, product managers, data scientists, and operations teams across multiple markets.
📍 This role is based in our tech hub in Helsinki or Stockholm. We work in distributed teams, but may not be able to support fully remote work or relocation.

About Wolt
At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe.
Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.
Join us in shaping the experience that millions of customers land on every time they open DoorDash, Wolt, or Deliveroo. As part of our Core Consumer organisation, our Homepage team owns one of the single biggest levers we have on what customers find and one of the hardest surfaces in the app to get right.
Working at the intersection of ranking, personalisation, and AI/ML, you'll help decide what each customer sees and why, across three brands and dozens of markets. You'll be building on a global stack, and your roadmap will be a mix: global platform problems that apply worldwide, global capabilities we're accelerating into EMEA, and EMEA-specific problems worth solving properly rather than working around.
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Homepage team. In this role, you'll shape how customers discover restaurants, grocery and retail venues, dishes and products — and help define what discovery looks like as AI-driven and agentic experiences change the way people decide what to order.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be joining a team working on one of the most-used surfaces in the app.
Here's what your day-to-day might look like:
Building new end-to-end features and user experiences on Homepage that shape how customers discover restaurants, grocery and retail venues, dishes, and products.
Working on ranking, personalisation, and AI/ML problems in the Homepage domain, including how we decide what each customer sees and why.
Exploring where AI-driven and agentic experiences change the way customers discover what to order.
Making discovery work across three brands and many markets, without flattening into one-size-fits-all.
What You'll Need to Thrive
Our ideal candidate will bring strong product judgment and curiosity to grow into the rest:
Proven experience as a Product Manager on consumer-facing products - discovery, homepage, feed, or ranking-driven experiences are especially relevant.
You are a product manager more than a feature owner. Someone who finds the customer problems that matter most and makes the case for solving them.
You work backwards from the customer problem, and weigh it against what the business needs most right now.
You're comfortable holding several business objectives at once and making a call when they pull in different directions.
You work well with a wide range of stakeholders and build trust with people whose priorities differ from your own.
You think strategically and can move between long-term direction and what we should ship next.
You're comfortable with ambiguity and genuinely flexible (this industry is changing fast, AI most of all).
You're curious about what AI actually changes for customers, and can tell real value from hype.
Next steps
The position will be filled as soon as we find the right person, so make sure to apply as soon as you realize you really, really want to join us!
Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

THE ROLE
We are looking for a skilled, tech-savvy Legal Operations Specialist to join our fast-paced legal team. As a core member of the department within a leading payment processing company, you will help drive operational excellence, scale our legal tech stack, and streamline workflows.
The ideal candidate helps bridge the gap between legal expertise, technology, and data-driven efficiency. You will be responsible for managing our complex contract ecosystems, optimising team collaboration tools, and leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to design modern, automated legal processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Legal Tech Stack & Automation Strategy: Support the administration, integration, and continuous improvement of our legal technology tools, with a heavy emphasis on Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems.
- Atlassian Ecosystem: Support the legal department's Jira infrastructure. This includes assisting with the design, maintenance, and optimisation of workflows in Jira Service Management (JSM) for legal intake, helping manage Jira Spaces, and building out a comprehensive, user-friendly knowledge base in Confluence.
- AI & Process Engineering: Proactively identify opportunities to embed AI and machine learning tools into everyday legal operations, supporting the development and implementation of AI-driven efficiencies (e.g., automated contract review, AI search optimisation, legal operations chatbots, and automated triaging) to help reduce cycle times.
- Workflow Optimisation: Evaluate existing legal processes, identify bottlenecks in the payment processing legal pipeline (e.g., merchant agreements, vendor contracts, regulatory tracking), and engineer streamlined, scalable workflows.
- Data Analytics & Reporting: Design dashboards and generate metrics within Jira and CLM tools to track legal spend, turnaround times, contract volumes, and team capacity. Present actionable insights to legal leadership.
- Vendor & Resource Support: Help manage relationships with legal tech vendors (e.g. Brightflag) and ensure the team is maximising the value of industry resources (e.g., CLOC, ACC).
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Legal Operations, ideally within a fintech, payment processing, or highly regulated corporate environment.
- Experience working with enterprise CLM systems (e.g., Ironclad, LinkSquares, Icertis, or Conga), including template building and workflow routing.
- Good working knowledge of Jira, specifically designing custom workflows, queues, and SLAs in JSM, helping manage Jira Spaces, and structuring documentation in Confluence.
- Experience using generative AI tools, prompt engineering, or AI-backed legal tech features to build efficiencies, automate repetitive tasks, and analyse legal data.
- General understanding of the legal operational challenges unique to payment processing, financial services, or tech companies.
Preferred Skills & Core Competencies
- Tech-Forward Mindset: Instead of simply using tools, look for ways to make them talk to each other. Experience with integrations (APIs, Zapier) is a massive plus.
- Problem-Solving & Agility: Ability to thrive in a high-volume, rapidly changing corporate environment.
- Project Management: Strong organisational skills with a proven ability to manage and support multiple tech implementation projects simultaneously (PRINCE2 qualification a plus, but not necessary).
- Collaboration & Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical or legal requirements into clear, user-friendly processes for cross-functional stakeholders such as Product, Sales and Compliance.

From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are coming together with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data. Together we're building the data infrastructure layer that moves, transforms, and adds context to data — from the moment it lands to the point where teams and AI systems depend on it.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we're building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products our customers know and trust. It's a good time to join a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work.
About the Role
Product Finance covers two things: how our products perform, and what they cost to build, run, and support. This role owns the cost and investment side, as the finance partner to the Product and Customer Support organizations.
You'll own the operating expense P&L for both organizations — headcount and hiring plans, vendor and program spend, annual planning, monthly close, and budget-vs-actuals — and work with those leaders on where to spend and what to trade off.
You'll also build our view of product investment at the portfolio level: what we spend behind each product line, what it returns, and what that means for how the roadmap gets funded. That includes bringing cost of revenue and unit economics into the picture, so we can talk about product margin rather than just product spend. This is how we'll decide where to invest and where to pull back.
You'll build our cost-to-serve view as well — support cost by account and segment, and the economics of deflection and AI-assisted support.
Expect close work with Product Managers, Support and Engineering leaders, Pricing, Corporate FP&A, and Accounting, and regular exposure to senior leadership as we scale toward public company readiness.
This is a full-time, hybrid position based in our Oakland, CA office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.
What You'll Do
Serve as the finance business partner to Product and Customer Support leadership — own their budgets, partner on spend decisions, and flag risks, trade-offs, and reallocation opportunities early.
Own the annual operating plan for both organizations, including headcount and hiring plans, vendor and program spend, and quarterly reforecasts.
Own monthly close, accruals, and variance analysis — budget vs. actuals with clear driver explanations and forward-looking implications.
Build the portfolio view of product investment: what we spend behind each product line, what it returns, and what that implies for roadmap funding and resource allocation.
Bring cost of revenue and product unit economics into that view, working with the teams that own the underlying cost data.
Build cost-to-serve analytics — support cost by account and segment, and the economics of deflection and AI-assisted support.
Build business cases for new product investments and major roadmap decisions, including the economics of retiring or consolidating products, and provide Pricing with the unit economics behind packaging and monetization changes.
Co-own the Product Monthly and Quarterly Financial Reviews with the product top-line lead, so cost and performance are presented together.
Improve how this work gets done — better data models, less manual assembly, and AI applied to recurring analysis.
What We're Looking For
4+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, product finance, investment banking, or consulting, including ownership of a model or forecast that others relied on.
Experience owning an operating expense budget, or partnering with a non-finance organization on its spend.
Strong modeling skills across both driver-based revenue forecasts and operating expense and headcount models.
Working knowledge of software and subscription economics — ARR, NRR, ARPA, expansion, gross margin — ideally in a usage-based business.
Comfort working directly with large and complex datasets. SQL proficiency strongly preferred.
Ability to turn analysis into a clear recommendation and present it to Product, Support, and senior leadership.
Interest in how software gets built and what it costs to run.
Nice to Have
Product or Engineering finance partnership at a software, data infrastructure, or developer tools company.
Hands-on product margin, cost of revenue, or cost-to-serve analysis.
Experience supporting a Customer Support, Services, or other cost-to-serve organization.
Usage-based pricing, packaging, or monetization modeling.
Planning and BI tools (Pigment, Looker, Tableau, Sigma) and lightweight automation in Python or SQL.
Experience through a period of rapid scaling or IPO preparation.

Global payments are complex, high-throughput, and ever-evolving. As a Staff Software Engineer within our Payments Performance pillar, you will step into a critical role of strategic technical leadership. It is rooted in your profound depth of technical expertise and a wide breadth of organizational influence. You will guide the technical approach for your group, aligning multiple engineering teams on architectural priorities, unblocking complex obstacles, and balancing technical excellence with pragmatism for impact. We are looking for someone with a background building robust, automated experimentation or decision engines at a global scale.
How you’ll make an impact
- Drive the long-term technical direction and strategy for the Experimentation and Optimisation platform, looking beyond immediate requirements to ensure our solutions are built for impact and scale.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Data Science, Platform and ML Engineering teams to shape what we build, not just how.
- Act as a coach and mentor to our engineering teams, providing the technical leadership needed to solve complex distributed systems challenges in Go.

- Participate, translate, run and execute the collection of requirements and architecture/design initiatives into clear, actionable engineering roadmaps.
- Serve as a role model for engineering excellence, championing best practices in code, architecture and operational excellence.
What we’re looking for
- Technical leadership: setting direction, breaking down complex problems, influencing across teams.
- Extensive, hands-on experience in building, operating and scaling complex, cloud-based distributed systems (we use mainly AWS).
- Excellent programming skills in Go (Golang), with a deep understanding of concurrent, memory-efficient, and low-latency backend architectures.
- A strong engineering background with a proven track record of implementing, owning, and scaling experimentation systems, feature-flagging infrastructures, or similar data-intensive backend systems.
- A proven ability to raise the bar for engineering standards through effective coaching, mentorship, and a relentless drive for platform improvement.
- Strong presentation, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical or statistical concepts to multidisciplinary teams and influence positive outcomes across the organization.
- A detail-oriented and data-driven approach to building infrastructure solutions where accuracy, thoroughness, and low latency are absolutely critical.
- You take initiative and are deeply accountable to your internal customers and engineering colleagues.
- Bonus: experience with implementing solutions for adaptive experimentation ML (contextual bandits, Bayesian optimization or RL-based allocation)

Establish metrics to measure improvements in close performance, automation, productivity, and quality.
Build and Lead a High-Performing Team
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing accounting team capable of operating effectively in a fast-growing SaaS/Data environment.
Develop future leaders by increasing ownership and building stronger accounting, technology, and business capabilities across the team.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement where the team challenges existing processes and embraces technology, automation, and new ways of working.
Balance operational excellence with transformation, ensuring the organization executes reliably while continuously improving how work gets done.
What We're Looking For
10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership of corporate or GL accounting functions within a public company or similarly complex environment.
4+ years of people leadership experience; experience managing managers preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial close processes, internal controls, and accounting operations.
Experience within a SaaS, software, technology, or data business strongly preferred.
Demonstrated success leading meaningful Accounting or Finance transformation initiatives.
Strong systems orientation with experience improving ERP, close management, reconciliation, workflow, or other Finance technology platforms.
Strong understanding of AI and automation and an ability to translate emerging capabilities into practical accounting applications.
Excellent project management, change leadership, and executive communication skills.
Ability to move seamlessly between strategy and execution and influence stakeholders across Finance and the broader organization.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role goes beyond delivering an accurate close. You will help build an accounting organization that is increasingly automated, intelligent, scalable, and forward-looking.
You will create a more efficient and predictable close, reduce reliance on manual processes, embed AI and automation into how the team operates, and build a strong leadership bench. Ultimately, this role will help define what a modern Accounting organization should look like in an AI-enabled SaaS/Data company.
