With 20 offices across six continents and London as our HQ, we’re shaping the future of fintech – and we’re just getting started.
As a Staff Engineer (Payment Processing) at Checkout.com http://Checkout.com, you will set the technical direction for our Gateway, Routing and Payout platforms. Every payment and payout we process passes through these systems, from the merchant's API request to the routing decision that sends it to the right acquirer, payment method or payout rail. Correctness matters on every transaction, and small changes in availability, latency or routing quality show up directly in our merchants' approval rates and revenue.
This is a role for engineers who are energised by scale and by the hard trade-offs that come with it: latency budgets on the authorisation path, failure domains and blast radius, consistency and idempotency across regions, and the operational reality of running critical infrastructure around the clock.
You will operate as a force multiplier across multiple teams - shaping architecture, raising the engineering bar, and turning ambiguous, business-critical problems into designs that can be delivered incrementally. We're looking for individuals with deep technical judgement, strong ownership, and a pragmatic approach to breaking big problems into smaller iterations that deliver value continuously.
How you'll make an impact
- Own the architecture of high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems, defining the service boundaries, data models and integration patterns that let them scale by an order of magnitude
- Design for resilience from first principles - redundancy, graceful degradation, backpressure, idempotency and recovery - so that partial failures never become customer-facing outages
- Set and defend the non-functional requirements that matter: availability targets, latency percentiles, throughput ceilings, data durability and recovery objectives
- Lead the hardest technical decisions end to end, from problem framing and design review through to production rollout, migration and decommissioning of what came before
- Drive operational excellence by improving observability, alerting, capacity planning, load and chaos testing, and incident response, and by closing the loop on the root causes you find
- Raise the engineering bar across teams through design reviews, code review, pairing and mentorship, growing the senior engineers around you
- Partner with product, platform and other engineering teams to sequence delivery, remove blockers and keep multi-team programmes aligned on a single technical direction
- Make pragmatic build-versus-buy and refactor-versus-rewrite calls, and communicate the reasoning and trade-offs clearly to both engineers and senior leadership
Experience and qualifications
- Significant experience building and operating distributed backend systems in production, with a track record of technical leadership across multiple teams
- Demonstrable experience designing for high throughput and low latency, and a strong intuition for where systems break under load
- Deep understanding of resilience patterns in distributed systems: idempotency, retries and backoff, circuit breaking, queueing and backpressure, consistency and failure modes
- Strong proficiency in either .NET or Java, and the ability to write clear, production-ready code that others can maintain
- Experience with event-driven and streaming architectures, and with relational and non-relational data stores at scale
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based application development (we use AWS & Azure), containers, orchestration and infrastructure as code
- Experience owning production systems on call, with a strong sense of ownership for observability, monitoring and incident response
- Experience leading complex migrations or re-architectures of live, business-critical systems with no loss of availability or data integrity
- Excellent communication skills, able to influence without authority, write clear design documents, and express technical trade-offs to engineering and non-technical audiences alike
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in payments, financial services or another domain with strict correctness, auditability or regulatory requirements
- Experience with multi-region or active-active architectures, including data replication and failover strategies
- A history of mentoring engineers into senior and staff-level roles

About Deluxe Holiday Homes
Deluxe Holiday Homes is a leading holiday-home and property management company based in Dubai, UAE, managing a portfolio of 800+ premium short-term rental properties across the emirate. The Deluxe Homes Group operates with ~230 people across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Fujairah, and Armenia, and serves five brands from one marketing department: Deluxe Holiday Homes, ProKeep, HIVE Business Center, Deluxe Homes Interior Design, and Deluxe Homes Real Estate Brokers. We run a platform-first model: our in-house Marketing OS and AI pipelines do the production-line work, and a small team does judgment, camera, and execution.
Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on, decisive Marketing Executive to own the physical and scheduled side of marketing across all five brands: the video and photo shoot pipeline, the day-to-day operation of every social media account in the group, every marketing vendor (print, signage, uniforms, vehicle branding, design freelancers), the physical launch of HIVE Business Center, and the trackers and weekly reporting the department runs on. You are the single point of accountability for one outcome: everything happens on the date it was promised.
This is an ownership role, not a reminder-sender role. You make the routine calls — hold or release a shoot, pin a vendor to a date, reorder collateral before it runs out — and report after; you do not escalate and wait. You hold a written GO/NO-GO right on every shoot: if a shoot is not ready 3 days out, you stop it. If a vendor slips, you are on their phone the same day.
Note: This role does not include marketing strategy, creative direction, copywriting, design, paid advertising, or SEO — those sit with specialist owners. Captions, scripts, and visuals arrive prepared from the content team and AI pipeline: you publish and operate, you do not write or design. The role has no direct reports.
Key Responsibilities
Shoot Production
• Own the shoot calendar across all brands: schedule every shoot 7 days out and issue the brief (properties, concept, video count) to the content and camera team.
• Run the readiness gate: scripts in 4 days out, written GO or NO-GO to the Shoot Lead and GM 3 days out, by 6 pm, every time.
• Lock properties with operations: units blocked, cleaned, and staged 3 days before every shoot.
• Prepare the kit: wardrobe, props, and equipment ready on shoot day.
• Log delivered-vs-planned for every shoot and keep host cancellation and standby penalties at AED 0.
2. Social Publishing & Account Operations
• Publish the prepared content for all 5 brands, every day, per the approved calendar through the Marketing OS — and log the live link for every post. Flag any cadence break 24 hours before it happens, never after.
• Operate every social account in the group (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube): bios, links, covers, highlights, pinned posts — complete and current at all times — and secure handles, profiles, and defensive registrations for any new brand or entity within 48 hours of its naming.
• Moderate comments and DMs across all accounts with hard routing rules: booking or sales leads to the reservations and BD teams the same day, guest complaints to operations, spam hidden.
• Keep Google Business Profile and Bing Places complete and active for ProKeep and HIVE (weekly posts, photos, Q&A), and execute the citation list set by the Search team.
• Send review responses within 48 hours (AI-drafted, human-checked).
• Run a monthly QA pass across every live channel and fix what it finds.
3. Vendors, Print & Physical Brand
• Own every marketing vendor thread end-to-end: supplier, quote, approval, pinned date, delivery, and payment paperwork to finance.
• Keep welcome books and in-unit collateral stocked across 700+ units on a reorder
• Deliver uniforms and the vehicle-branding schedule (15 vehicles currently pending) to completion.
• Chase trademark agents (EN + AR) and manage Arabic transcreation delivery from briefed vendors.
• Run the physical launch of HIVE Business Center: signage, tour-route materials, print collateral, and opening-day logistics.
• Bring every vendor decision to the GM as a 3-option comparison with your recommendation.
4. Trackers & Reporting
• Keep every task, vendor, and budget line in ClickUp with a due date, updated every working day — without being chased.
• File and index every photo and video asset within 48 hours of delivery so the AI pipeline can use it.
• Send the Monday report to the GM: progress, blockers (with the date and person you escalated to), and spend.
• Escalate any blocker — on anyone, including the GM — in writing within 24 hours.
• Record every operational decision (cadence changes, vendor awards, holds) in the decision log.
Required Qualifications
• 3–6 years in production coordination, marketing operations, traffic management, or event production — UAE experience required.
• You come from a 50–500-person company — agency, hospitality, property, or D2C — where you ran schedules and vendors yourself, not through a department.
• Decisive operator — reference-checked: your last manager will confirm you made calls inside your scope without waiting.
• Proven vendor management: sourcing, quotes, negotiating to a deadline, accepting or rejecting delivery, and closing the payment paperwork.
• Daily discipline in a task system (ClickUp, Asana, or similar): every task, a due date, a same-day update.
• Fast, clear written English — comfortable issuing a written NO-GO that stops a shoot, to people more senior than you.
• Native fluency in the mechanics of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube account operations — publishing runs through our platform, but you know how each platform actually behaves.
• Valid UAE driving licence and readiness to move across Dubai daily: properties, vendors, print shops, and the HIVE site.
Preferred Qualifications
• Arabic — working level or better.
• Hospitality, short-term rental, or real estate marketing exposure.
• On-set experience: call sheets, shot lists, location logistics.
• Enough Adobe/Canva literacy to catch a wrong export — you check design, you do not produce it.
• AI tools in your daily workflow: drafting, checklists, review responses.

About the Team:
Netlify’s Data team helps the company understand and improve the full product-led growth journey, from activation and engagement through conversion, retention, and monetization. We partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Growth to uncover opportunities, evaluate investments, and understand what drives customer and business outcomes.
We’re hiring a Senior Staff Data Scientist to deepen how data shapes our product and growth strategy. You’ll develop an end-to-end understanding of the PLG journey, proactively identify opportunities, and turn complex data into hypotheses, experiments, and recommendations that influence where we invest and what we build. This is a highly autonomous role for someone who can move from identifying an important question to shaping the approach, defining success, and driving toward an answer.
What You'll Do:
Own the analytical understanding of Netlify’s PLG performance across activation, engagement, conversion, monetization, and retention, identifying opportunities before they become requests
Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to turn behavioral insights into product bets, defining what to test, how to measure it, and what the results mean
Lead experimentation from hypothesis through decision, including study design, methodology, success metrics, guardrails, analysis, and recommendations
Apply statistical rigor where it matters while recognizing when there is enough signal to make a decision and move forward, and help teams develop that same judgment
Build scalable analytical systems like semantic models, trusted metrics, proactive monitoring, and AI-powered agents that surface opportunities without waiting to be asked
Use AI to investigate faster, automate recurring analytical work, and test more hypotheses without sacrificing the judgment that makes the output useful
Identify gaps in measurement, event instrumentation, and metric definitions, and partner with Data and Product Engineering to close them
Serve as a trusted analytical partner to PLG leadership, using evidence and product judgment to influence investment decisions and roadmap priorities
Influence product strategy through evidence, product instincts, and a clear point of view, without relying on formal authority to do it
What You'll Bring:
8+ years of experience in product analytics, growth analytics, or data science, with a track record of high ownership and measurable impact on PLG or consumer product outcomes
Deep understanding of product and growth dynamics across activation, engagement, conversion, monetization, and retention
Demonstrated ability to turn behavioral data into product hypotheses and carry them from insight through experimentation and measured outcomes
Deep experimentation expertise: study design, statistical reasoning, causal inference, and the judgment to know when an experiment has told you what you need to know
Experience building analytical systems such as metrics layers, monitoring frameworks, or semantic models that teams can rely on over time
An AI-native approach to analysis: you use AI tools actively to accelerate investigation, automate repetitive work, and surface patterns faster
A track record of influencing senior stakeholders and product direction through analytical reasoning, clear recommendations, and sound judgment
Comfort operating with significant autonomy in ambiguous problem spaces, including determining which questions are most important to answer
Strong written and verbal communication skills in distributed environments, with the ability to make complex findings clear and recommendations actionable
This Role is a Great Fit If:
You're energized by finding the opportunity before anyone thought to ask - proactive discovery is how you naturally work, not a mode you shift into
You think like a product person who happens to be exceptionally rigorous with data, not a data person who occasionally weighs in on product
You thrive when the problem isn't handed to you - you'd rather define the question worth asking than answer the one that landed in your queue
You get excited about building systems that keep working after you've moved on to the next problem
You're comfortable making a call with imperfect information and can articulate clearly why you made it
You enjoy being a thought partner to senior leaders - shaping how they think about investment and opportunity, not just supporting decisions already made
You work well in a remote-first, async environment where written clarity and self-direction matter more than proximity
You're drawn to roles where the measure of success is outcomes, decisions made, bets tested, metrics moved, not volume of output produced
Applying
Not sure you meet 100% of our qualifications?
Please apply anyway!
When applying please include:
A resume or short listing of your job history & skills (link to a LinkedIn profile would be fine). We appreciate a cover letter explaining why you would enjoy working in this role at Netlify to get to know you a bit better, though this is not required and will not impact your application. Our mission is to “build a better web” and that cannot be done without a diversity of skill sets, backgrounds and thoughts.
Of everything we've ever built at Netlify, we are most proud of our team. Netlify is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are devoted to building a team of people with diverse backgrounds and lifestyles. Driving equality empowers our team, enables us to innovate, and helps us maintain a more inclusive environment. Candidates outside the US or in premium markets should consult with their Talent Acquisition partner regarding location-based ranges, as they may be higher or lower than the average US range listed. The starting pay will be determined based on multiple factors, including expertise and skills, market demands, experience, internal equity, and applicable geographic location. These compensation packages and ranges are subject to change and may be modified in the future.

OUR STORY:
Every year millions of people are either filing their taxes in fear or giving up on their tax refund altogether. We're working on fixing that. Our intuitive app enables anyone, regardless of education or background, to file their taxes with newfound confidence.
Spread across Germany, Spain and the UK, the team at Taxfix Group with its brands Taxfix and Steuerbot, is a compassionate group of solution-finders. We speak our minds openly, and with over 400 professionals, including tax experts, developers, and IT security experts, we're rich in ideas and voices. The group has facilitated more than 3.5 billion euros in tax refunds for its customers since its founding in 2016.
ROLE SUMMARY
You own the marketing-technology layer behind Taxfix's growth: the conversion signals that tell ad networks who converted, the customer data that powers CRM, the consent flows that decide what we may share and with whom, and the referral program, one of the growth mechanics the team owns end to end. This is a senior individual-contributor role with no direct reports. You set direction for a small engineering team (a tech lead plus 3–4 engineers, two-week sprints) that supports four products across three markets, with Paid Acquisition, CRM, Brand and Creative as internal customers. A typical week mixes debugging a missing ad-network event, scoping a referral reward, settling a data-sharing question with Legal, and explaining trade-offs to leadership. All work, including across markets, happens in English; German is not required.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own conversion-signal engineering for paid acquisition: client-side and server-to-server events into Singular, Firebase/GA4, Google Ads and TikTok, including synthetic events, revenue values and predicted-LTV signals.
- Run the referral program as a product: reward mechanics, eligibility and fraud rules, voucher infrastructure (Voucherify), the in-app voucher wallet, entry points, and the experiments that tune them.
- Grow push and marketing-consent opt-in through permission primers, iOS/Android OS permission flows and notification preferences.
- Keep CRM data trustworthy: Braze attributes and events, Snowflake-to-Braze syncs, event-loss monitoring, and moving legacy messaging (SendGrid, Firebase) onto Braze.
- Turn consent and privacy requirements into product behaviour, and work with Legal on what data can go to which partner.
- Adapt tracking, CRM attributes and attribution to company launches, such as new subscription pricing tiers, without breaking downstream campaigns or reporting.
- Turn stakeholder requests, support escalations and spike findings into tickets engineers can start on, and decide what goes into the sprint.
- Weigh roadmap work against platform upkeep: pipeline migrations, security fixes, end-of-life SDKs.
- Design A/B tests (Eppo) and read the results for marketing and consent opt-s, and referral changes.
- Report progress, risks and trade-offs in writing to marketing leadership, including VP and C-level.
MUST-HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Several years as a product manager owning martech, growth infrastructure or data products, setting your own roadmap with senior stakeholders.
- Hands-on mobile and web attribution: an MMP (Singular or comparable), server-to-server events, and ad-network conversion setups (Google Ads, TikTok).
- Event-tracking depth: you can define an event schema, write a tracking spec, and trace a missing or duplicated event through Segment, Google Tag Manager and the receiving platform.
- CRM data platforms, ideally Braze: custom attributes, event-triggered segmentation, data ingestion and sync quality.
- Working knowledge of EU consent and privacy: GDPR, consent mode, iOS App Tracking Transparency, and how push permissions behave on iOS and Android.
- Experimentation: framing hypotheses, choosing and configuring metrics, judging when a result is real.
- Precise writing: specs that engineers (and AI coding agents) can start on without a meeting, and concise updates and decision memos for leadership.
- Enough technical fluency to work through trade-offs with engineers across mobile apps (React Native), backend services and data pipelines, and to triage production incidents.
NICE TO HAVE
- Performance marketing experience with the main app and web acquisition channels (e.g. Google Ads, TikTok).
- Referral, loyalty or voucher programs; Voucherify specifically.
- Predicted-LTV or value-based bidding signals (e.g. Churney).
- Deep linking and deferred deep linking across ad networks.
- AI-driven CRM orchestration (Aampe) or creative asset tooling (Frontify, AI creative tagging).
- Building AI agents or automation for product and engineering workflows.
- Querying data yourself in SQL (Snowflake), and familiarity with dbt and Airflow.
WHY TAXFIX?
- A chance to do meaningful, people-centric work with an international team of passionate professionals.
- Holistic well-being with free mental health coaching sessions.
- A monthly allowance to spend on an extensive range of services that you can use and roll over as flexibly as you like.
- Employee stock options for all employees—because everyone deserves to benefit from the success they help to create.
- 30 annual vacation days and flexible working hours.
- A generous learning budget to support your personal and professional development and guidance from our internal L&D experts.
- Work from abroad for up to six weeks every year. Just align with your team, and then enjoy your trip.
- Plenty of opportunities to socialise as a team. In addition to internal meetups, our international team hosts regular get-togethers—virtually and in person when possible.
- Free tax declaration filing, of course, through the Taxfix app—and internal support for all personal tax-related questions.
- Have a four-legged friend in your life? We’re happy to have dogs join us in the office.

ABOUT THE ROLE.
We’re building the next generation of agentic AI infrastructure at Cohere. This team sits at the intersection of ML systems, distributed infrastructure, and developer experience, creating the platform that powers autonomous AI agents at scale.
You’ll work on hard, forward-looking problems with few established patterns, including secure code execution, agent state management, model routing, identity and authentication, and resource management for long-running agent workflows.
This role is a strong fit for someone who combines systems depth with ML intuition. You should be comfortable building reliable infrastructure, thinking through distributed systems tradeoffs, and understanding how emerging agentic capabilities shape platform design.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON.
- Secure execution environments for agent-generated code
- Identity, authentication, and trust boundaries for agents
- Model routing and orchestration across different model types and environments
- Rate limiting, quotas, and resource management for agent workflows
- State management, memory, and filesystem abstractions for agents.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Turn emerging ML research ideas into production-ready infrastructure
- Build core platform capabilities for execution, storage, and state management
- Prototype and evaluate new technologies, then help decide what should move into production
- Partner with research teams to shape infrastructure based on what future agent systems will need
YOU MAY BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE:
- Experience building production ML infrastructure with strong systems fundamentals
- Hands-on work with agentic systems, multi-agent workflows, or agent development frameworks
- Familiarity with model routing and LLM provider frameworks across different model types and environments
- Experience with scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems and Kubernetes
- A track record of moving quickly on prototypes and making good decisions about productionization.
BONUS
- Experience across on-prem, private cloud, and public cloud environments
- Familiarity with storage systems, embedded databases, or filesystem abstractions
- Experience with code execution sandboxes such as gVisor, Firecracker, Kata, or WASM runtimes
- Interest in emerging ML infrastructure, edge inference, or browser-native models
- Open-source contributions to LLM or agent infrastructure projects
- Experience with identity, workload auth, or capability-based security systems.
