Salmon is a technology-driven financial company building a banking and lending platform across Southeast Asia, starting in the Philippines.
7M+ app downloads. 2M+ monthly active users. 7,000+ partner stores. US$310M+ raised from top-tier investors.
Here, you get real ownership from day one, high standards, and direct communication. You'll work alongside a team that combines deep local knowledge and experience scaling regulated financial companies from scratch.
If you want to solve complex problems at scale and directly impact how millions of people access and manage money, come build with us.
Southeast Asia's fintech moment starts here.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You'll build and own Salmon's Frontline Employees Database — the internal system that runs HR and operational processes for around 4,000 frontline employees.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Start with Frontline DB, which brings together employee and candidate profiles, access and account data, time-off information, shift planning, and selected operational results — with a backlog of initiatives across development, integrations, data mapping, documentation, and process improvement.
- Own solutions end to end: dig into the business need, clarify requirements with stakeholders, propose a practical approach, and turn it into a working MVP.
- Work directly with HR, Operations, People Partners, and Support, and over time extend scope into integrations with HiBob, Ashby, and other internal systems.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- Develop and improve PostgreSQL data structures for custom internal solutions.
- Design, build, and maintain automation and integration workflows in n8n.
- Build internal applications, forms, and user interfaces in Retool.
- Integrate HR and enterprise systems through REST APIs, webhooks, and other integration methods, with custom logic in Python and/or JavaScript.
- Test, troubleshoot, document, and maintain what you build — and handle internal support requests for existing tools and workflows (about 20% of the role).
- Grow MVP solutions into reliable internal products as processes and needs evolve.
WHAT MAKES YOU A STRONG FIT
- Confident SQL skills and experience with relational databases — you can query, validate, and interpret data independently.
- Hands-on experience with n8n, Make, or another low-code automation platform.
- Experience with Retool or another platform for building internal applications and forms.
- Working knowledge of Python and/or JavaScript for scripting and automation.
- Understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and common integration patterns, plus a basic grasp of testing, debugging, and error handling.
- A proactive working style — you read incomplete requirements, make reasonable technical decisions independently, and know when to escalate — with good English for working with international stakeholders.
WHAT WE OFFER
Build what's next in Southeast Asian fintech.

ABOUT AVOCA
Avoca is transforming how home service companies engage with their customers. Our AI-powered conversational agents handle every high-value inbound call, from booking jobs, qualifying leads, and driving higher revenue, all at a speed and consistency unmatched by human call centers.
We're a Series B startup backed by Kleiner Perkins, Meritech Capital, General Catalyst, and other top-tier investors, with $125M raised and a $1B valuation. We grew 10x in 2025 and have scaled to 170+ employees in under two years across our NYC headquarters and Santa Barbara office.
In a $1T+ market where 85% of missed calls go to competitors, we're building the category-defining platform for AI-driven customer engagement, serving the largest brands in home services. With high-energy, in-office teams in both locations, every hire here has an immediate and visible impact.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're hiring a Channel Partner Manager to build one of Avoca's most important revenue engines: partnerships with the HVAC manufacturers, OEMs, and distributors that sit upstream of every contractor. Avoca has established itself as the leading brand and AI partner in the home services industry through partnerships across several channels, and this role owns distribution through the OEM and supplier layer. These partnerships put Avoca in front of thousands of home services operators at once, with the credibility of brands they already know and trust.
You'll own a revenue goal and a portfolio of these relationships, from OEMs like Trane, Daikin, and Carrier to their distribution networks. You'll take partnerships end to end: finding the opportunity, structuring the relationship, and turning it into repeatable pipeline and revenue. This is a small, fast-moving team, so you'll wear many hats and help build the playbook as much as run it.
You'll report directly to the Head of Partnerships and work closely with leadership on our highest-priority partner initiatives.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own a portfolio of partner relationships end to end, from first conversation to signed partnership to revenue
- Build partnerships across HVAC manufacturers, OEMs, distributors, and their territory managers, including the co-op programs that fund and shape how these partnerships work
- Structure partnerships that create real distribution: co-marketing, referral motions, preferred-vendor positioning, joint events, and go-to-market
- Turn relationships into measurable partner-sourced pipeline and ARR, and own those numbers
- Represent Avoca with partners and at industry events, with travel as needed, heavier during conference season
- Work closely with Sales, RevOps, and Marketing to convert partner introductions into closed business
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Direct experience in the home services industry building channel partnerships with HVAC manufacturers and distributors like Trane, Daikin, Carrier, or Ferguson
- Existing relationships you can activate quickly, with manufacturer channel leaders and distributor territory managers, plus an understanding of how co-op works
- Experience with channel, co-marketing, or partner-sourced revenue motions
- 4+ years of professional experience, with 6 to 10 years the ideal range
- A track record of building and closing partnerships or commercial relationships, not just managing existing ones
- Strong commercial instinct and clear communication with both field operators and executives
- High agency and pace: you build the playbook and move at the speed of a high-growth startup, not a legacy player
WHO YOU ARE
- You know the home services world well enough to bring a point of view and a network with you, not build both from scratch
- You're a relationship builder who's equally comfortable in the field and in a boardroom
- You think in systems: you can look at a fragmented landscape and quickly see where the leverage is
- You want to own a book of partnerships, carry a number, and shape what this function becomes
BENEFITS
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
- Company-sponsored 401(k) through Vestwell
- Flexible PTO plus U.S. federal holidays
- Company-wide off-sites
- Monthly wellness stipend
- Daily in-office lunch through Parkday
- Dinner covered when working late
- Commuter benefits and late-night rideshare
- Standing desks and workspace accommodations available on request
- All core tools and software provided
Compensation: The expected base salary for this role is $160,000-$220,000 with final compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications determined during the interview process. Avoca's total compensation package includes base salary, bonus, equity, and a comprehensive suite of benefits and perks. Our Recruiting team will share the full details as you progress through our hiring process.

- Strong business intuition — you connect financial outcomes to operational drivers and can tell the story behind the numbers
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity and making high-quality decisions with incomplete information

This is a builder's seat. You'll inherit a foundation but have real ownership over candidate experience, sourcing strategy, and the systems that will define how Avoca hires for years to come. You'll work directly with sales and commercial leadership as a trusted partner, and report to our Head of GTM Recruiting.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Run full-cycle recruiting across all GTM functions, holding a high bar on quality and speed while managing multiple searches in parallel.
- Identify and engage passive talent that isn't on the market yet, building relationships over weeks and months so that when the right role opens, the right person is already in conversation.
- Shape a candidate experience that becomes a competitive advantage, where every touchpoint reflects our culture, declined candidates refer their network, and our process itself is a reason people say yes.
- Craft authentic outreach and positioning that cuts through the noise of generic pitches and gets elite candidates to take the call.
- Partner with hiring leaders on intake, calibration, and closing strategy, influencing decisions with data and conviction.
- Build the operational backbone, from pipeline tracking, scorecards, sourcing playbooks, that lets us scale without sacrificing quality.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 5-7 years in GTM recruiting at high-growth startups (agency backgrounds welcome), ideally early-stage experience.
- A track record of sourcing and closing top commercial talent, not just running process on inbound.
- Demonstrated ability to identify passive candidates and build long-arc relationships that convert.
- Strong stakeholder management: you can push back on a hiring manager and earn their trust at the same time.
- Comfort managing multiple reqs simultaneously with rigorous follow-through and organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ideally fluency in our core stack: Ashby, Noon AI, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Notion.
WHO YOU ARE
- Builder mentality: you see gaps in process and want to fix them, not flag them.
- Energized by inflection points and the ambiguity that comes with scaling fast.
- Thoughtful about candidate experience as a craft, not a checkbox.
- Self-directed and entrepreneurial, with strong instincts for prioritization.
- Collaborative and organized, with a high standard for your own work.
- Eager to work in person at our NYC office full time.
BENEFITS
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
- Company-sponsored 401(k) through Vestwell
- Flexible PTO plus U.S. federal holidays
- Company-wide off-sites
- Daily in-office lunch through Parkday
- Monthly wellness stipend
- Dinner covered when working late
- Commuter benefits and late-night rideshare
- Standing desks and workspace accommodations available on request
- All core tools and software provided
Compensation: The expected base salary for this role is $140,000-$180,000 with final compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications determined during the interview process. Avoca’s total compensation package includes base salary, bonus, equity, and a comprehensive suite of benefits and perks. Our Recruiting team will share the full details as you progress through our hiring process.

You will translate annual TEM goals into defined workstreams, delivery plans, success measures, and repeatable operating practices that improve visibility, decision-making, remediation outcomes, and program scale.
Responsibilities
Lead complex Global Vulnerability Management workstreams that advance SIE’s Threat Exposure Management capability and transition toward a Continuous Threat Exposure Management operating model across discovery, prioritization, validation, and mobilization.
Translate annual TEM goals into defined delivery plans, milestones, success measures, dependencies, and repeatable operating practices. Monitor progress, identify barriers, and adjust execution to improve outcomes.
Lead hands-on vulnerability research and technical analysis to confirm security conditions, eliminate false positives, characterize exploitability and business impact, and provide actionable remediation or mitigation guidance.
Improve the discovery and assessment of vulnerabilities across SIE network, cloud, endpoint, application, container, and other technology environments.
Develop risk-based prioritization using vulnerability and threat intelligence, exploitation evidence, asset and business context, control effectiveness, and remediation considerations.
Lead security validation activities and develop proofs of concept when appropriate to distinguish material risk, evaluate defensive controls, and support informed decisions.
Partner with Information Security teams and technology owners to mobilize remediation, clarify ownership, establish effective handoffs, resolve barriers, and measure progress through remediation, mitigation, or accepted disposition.
Evolve GVM platforms, integrations, data, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled workflows to improve coverage, data quality, consistency, decision speed, and operational scale.
Communicate vulnerability trends, material risks, remediation progress, and program outcomes to technical, operational, and leadership audiences through clear reports and recommendations.
Mentor engineers and partner teams, contribute to technical standards and procedures, and improve the quality of vulnerability analysis, validation, documentation, and delivery.
Maintain current knowledge of relevant vulnerabilities, exploitation techniques, threat activity, security technologies, and industry practices.
Some travel may be required.
Qualifications
8+ years of relevant experience in information security, information technology, systems engineering, or a related field, including substantial experience in vulnerability management, security research, or exposure management.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, information security, or a related discipline.
Experience leading complex technical workstreams across multiple teams, translating objectives into delivery plans, and achieving measurable outcomes without relying on direct reporting authority.
Hands-on experience with vulnerability research, technical analysis, security validation, risk-based prioritization, and remediation or mitigation guidance.
Experience assessing vulnerabilities across several technology domains, such as operating systems, networks, cloud services, applications, endpoints, containers, databases, or hybrid infrastructure.
Experience with vulnerability discovery, assessment, validation, or exposure-management platforms and their supporting integrations.
Knowledge of adversarial tactics, exploitation techniques, threat intelligence, and attack frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, with the ability to apply that information to vulnerability prioritization.
Experience using scripting, programming, APIs, or automation to improve security analysis and operational workflows. Relevant technologies may include Python, SQL, Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript, or comparable languages.
Experience analyzing and contextualizing security data to connect technical findings with asset, service, business, threat, control, and remediation information.
Familiarity with software engineering practices such as version control, testing, code review, CI/CD, reusable components, and controlled production releases.
Ability to communicate complex security conditions, priorities, tradeoffs, and recommendations clearly to technical, operational, and leadership audiences.
Experience mentoring engineers or analysts and influencing technical practices across teams.
Desired qualifications
Experience helping evolve a traditional vulnerability-management function toward a TEM or CTEM operating model.
Experience with continuous security validation, adversarial exposure validation, exploit research, or proof-of-concept development.
Experience securing cloud, container, application, or build-pipeline environments and integrating security capabilities into engineering workflows.
Experience with security-data and analytics platforms such as Snowflake, Domo, or comparable technologies.

Senior Director, Business Strategy & Planning
Reports to:
Vice President, Head of Operations
Position Summary
The Senior Director of Business Strategy & Planning will serve as a strategic operating partner to the Vice President, Head of Operations and lead the team responsible for establishing and running the business operating system for the Studio Business Group (SBG).
This leader will build and manage a high-performing Strategy & Planning team that creates an integrated view of business performance, organizational health, strategic priorities, portfolio considerations and emerging risks. This position requires a leader who can operate as both a senior strategic advisor and a hands-on builder: setting direction, developing talent and personally engaging in the most complex and high-impact work.
Key Responsibilities

Establish the team’s mandate, roles, operating model and ways of working.
Set clear priorities and ensure the team focuses on the highest-value strategic and operational needs.
Delegate work effectively while remaining personally engaged in complex executive-level analysis and decision support.
Coach team members in strategic thinking, executive communication, business judgment and cross-functional leadership.
Create a high-performing team culture grounded in accountability, curiosity, collaboration and sound judgment.
Assess future capability and resource needs as the Strategy & Planning function matures.
Business Planning and Operating Rhythm
Design, establish and manage the Studio Business Group’s integrated operating cadence.
Lead the planning and coordination of recurring business forums, including:
Management Review Process activities
Quarterly and periodic business reviews
KPI and performance reviews
Strategy and risk discussions
Annual and multi-year planning activities
Leadership decision and follow-up processes
Ensure executive forums are designed to drive decisions, accountability and action rather than simply report information.
Create clear connections among strategic priorities, operating plans, financial commitments and execution progress.
Establish processes to track decisions, actions and unresolved issues across leadership forums.
Business Performance and Insights
Build an integrated executive view of business performance, risks and opportunities.
Partner with Finance and functional leaders to establish meaningful KPIs and performance measures.
Lead the team in synthesizing quantitative and qualitative information from across studios and functions into actionable executive insights.
Identify patterns, business implications and areas requiring intervention or further analysis.
Ensure executive materials clearly communicate performance, risks, choices and recommended actions.
Raise the quality and consistency of analysis used in senior leadership decision-making.
Strategic Initiative Leadership
Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that span studios, functions or SIE organizations.
Establish clear objectives, decision rights, milestones and measures of success.
Assign members of the Strategy & Planning team to priority initiatives based on business need and individual capability.
Coordinate work across teams without assuming ownership that appropriately sits within existing functions.
Surface dependencies, resolve ambiguity and escalate issues when leadership decisions are required.
Ensure strategic initiatives are sequenced appropriately so the organization is not overloaded by competing demands.
Step into ambiguous or high-risk work where direct senior leadership involvement is required.
Cross-Functional Alignment
Build strong partnerships across Production, Finance, Development Strategy, Technology, Portfolio Management, HR and studio leadership.
Connect information and priorities across teams that may otherwise operate independently.
Support alignment between Studio Business Group priorities and broader SIE planning and operating rhythms.
Help clarify roles, ownership and decision rights when work crosses organizational boundaries.
Facilitate productive executive discussions around competing priorities and trade-offs.
Represent the Strategy & Planning function in senior-level cross-SIE planning and operating forums.
Leadership Expectations
The Senior Director will lead a small team while also operating as a senior individual contributor on the organization’s most consequential work.
The successful candidate must be able to move fluidly between:
Advising senior executives
Setting direction for the Strategy & Planning function
Developing and coaching team members
Leading complex cross-functional initiatives
Reviewing and elevating the quality of team output
Personally producing analysis and recommendations when the work is highly sensitive, ambiguous or strategically important
The role requires strong judgment regarding what to own directly, what to delegate to the team and what should remain with established functional leaders.
Qualifications
Extensive experience in business strategy, business operations, strategic planning, management consulting, corporate development, portfolio strategy or a related field.
Demonstrated experience leading and developing a high-performing strategy, operations, consulting or planning team.
Experience directly advising C-suite or equivalent senior executives and supporting complex enterprise-level decisions.
Proven ability to synthesize large volumes of complex information into clear insights and recommendations.
Strong business judgment and the ability to understand connections among strategy, operations, financial performance, organizational design and execution.
Experience designing or improving executive operating rhythms, planning processes or performance management systems.
Demonstrated success leading complex work across a highly matrixed organization.
Exceptional written, verbal and executive presentation skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and facilitation capabilities.
Ability to navigate ambiguity, challenge constructively and establish structure where limited structure currently exists.
Experience in gaming, technology, entertainment, media or another product development environment is preferred.
Measures of Success
Success in this role will be reflected through:
Improved quality, speed and clarity of executive decisions
A consistent and effective business operating cadence
Greater visibility into business performance, risks and strategic trade-offs
Stronger alignment across studios, functions and SIE partners
Clearer accountability and follow-through on leadership decisions
High-quality strategic insights and executive recommendations
Effective sequencing and delivery of cross-functional priorities
The establishment of a credible and valued Strategy & Operations function
Development and retention of a high-performing team
Increased confidence from the CEO and senior leadership team in the organization’s strategy and planning capability
