How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

ABOUT NIANTIC SPATIAL
AI has learned from almost everything online, but it still struggles with the physical world, where 99.5% of economic activity happens. It doesn’t know where things are, how spaces fit together, or what changes over time.
That’s one of the biggest unsolved problems in AI, and it’s the one we’re solving at Niantic Spatial. We build spatial AI models and services so people and machines can reason, learn and act safely in the physical world. We turn camera imagery, video, sensor data and archives into accurate, AI-readable representations of real places that robots can train in and machines can use to know exactly where they are.
In physical AI, mistakes have real consequences. That’s why we build AI grounded in measured reality, not guesswork, so the people and machines relying on it can trust it to get things right.
Our team built some of the world’s most widely used maps. Now we’re building something bigger: a living, measured record of the real world that machines can query, learn from and use to understand how places change over time. If you want to help AI understand the world we actually live in, come build with us.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You'll help build the geometric foundation of the next-generation world map — joining our World Map Research Engineering team (Geospatial Alignment) as a Research Engineer or Senior Research Engineer. This is an end-to-end applied research role that spans from strong engineering and data-systems work to R&D in 3D deep learning, transformers, and foundation models. You'll develop new algorithms, produce the research data and evaluation assets needed to advance them, and engineer the resulting capabilities into dependable production systems.
The World Map team works with heterogeneous captures from phones and handheld devices, aerial imagery, LiDAR, and 360 cameras, as well as external geographic and elevation data. The central challenge is to harmonize these data sources, quantify uncertainty, and maintain consistency as the map evolves.
You'll work at the intersection of cutting-edge research and scalable engineering — developing new approaches to geospatial registration, correspondence, and geometric optimization, then productionizing these technologies to directly improve Niantic Spatial's world model.
What You'll Do
- Geospatial Registration — Develop and advance algorithms for world-scale georeferencing and registration across imagery, 3D reconstructions, point clouds, and geographic reference data.
- 3D Geometry & Correspondence — Build and improve methods spanning multi-view geometry, SfM, SLAM, feature matching, learned correspondence, bundle adjustment, point-cloud registration, and ICP.
- Data & Evaluation — Create the data and evaluation flywheel for world-scale mapping — design and maintain large-scale datasets, pipelines, benchmarks, and evaluation methodologies that expose hard failure modes, accelerate research iteration, and support production.

ABOUT MISTRAL
Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms.
We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
THE ROLE
This is a chance to build the frontier LLM evals that shape the next generations of flagship models.
Could a model design a computer chip, or find the backdoor an attacker left in a network? Public benchmarks can't tell us, as they're generally not a good measure of real work.
As an Evaluation Engineer, you'll own evals from start to finish. You'll run workshops with customers, industry experts and our customer-facing teams to understand their most important industry use cases (e.g., an engineer updating a part in CAD software), and help decide which are worth building first. You'll also look beyond today's use cases and design moonshot evals for work no model can do yet, so Mistral gets there first. Then you'll turn each one into a benchmark, often one where an agent has to do the work inside real software. You'll source the data, decide how to score it, and run it on every new Mistral model and on competitor models.
When our models fall short, you'll work with the post-training teams to close the gap. When they catch up, you'll make the eval harder. You'll write up and present your results so senior leaders can act on them. They also give our go-to-market teams evidence of where Mistral leads.
You'll learn new fields quickly. One month you might be learning how chip designers check their work, and the next how a bank investigates a flagged payment.
The team is new and fast-paced, and you'll have a lot of autonomy. You'll spend a lot of time speaking with people across Mistral to work out what matters most, then decide what to build.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Run discovery with customers, industry experts and teams across Mistral, then help decide which use cases are worth building first.
- Design new benchmarks for industry use cases and frontier capabilities, including how they're scored.
- Build evals where agents work inside real software (e.g., CAD and simulation tools), and run them on our models with checks that the results stay reliable over time.
- Stress-test existing evals to find flaws and bugs before we rely on them.
- Source data with expert vendors. Where customer data can't leave the customer, build realistic proxy or synthetic data instead.
- Write up and present what you find so leaders across Mistral can act on it.
- Help other teams build their own evals, with tools and guides they can reuse.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
EXPERIENCE
- 2+ years of industry experience (e.g., in software, AI, or consulting), or a PhD.
- A software engineering or research background, with experience writing code that others can build on.
- Experience working directly with customers, industry experts, or other teams (e.g., through consulting, solutions engineering, or research collaborations).
- Experience building something with LLMs.
- Comfort working with large datasets, including building and cleaning them.
TECHNICAL
- Strong Python skills.
- Comfortable working in a large, shared codebase and getting your code through reviews by other teams.
- A strong understanding of LLM training, inference, and evaluation.
COMMUNICATION
- You enjoy speaking with people and are good at it.
- You write clearly. A short doc or deck from you is enough for a busy leader to make a decision.
- Confident presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Fluent in English.
HOW YOU WORK
- High energy, and you don't need a roadmap. You move independently and handle uncertainty with confidence.
- Proactive and high-agency. You spot what needs doing and get it done.
- You make good decisions about what to build first and can explain why.
- Low-ego, collaborative, and eager to learn.
- Curious, with a track record of learning things outside your work or studies. You can get to grips with a new field in a few weeks.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience building AI evaluations, especially for industry applications.
- Published research on evals or contributions to open-source evaluation frameworks.
- Experience building datasets, generating synthetic data, developing labelling guidelines, or working with annotation vendors.
- A background in an industry outside software (e.g., engineering, finance, or science).
WHAT WE OFFER
We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being, growth, and work-life balance. Benefits vary by country and may include healthcare coverage, parental leave, retirement plans, relocation support, wellness programs, meal and transportation allowances, and other location-specific perks.
For the most up-to-date details on benefits available in your location, please refer to our Benefits page https://app.notion.com/p/mistralai/Benefits-at-Mistral-36e6ba59a7fe836b93dd01737fcc27ef?source=copy_link.

We’re scaling fast and staying true to what makes us different: an open-source legacy, a global collaborative culture, and a passion for meaningful work. Our team thrives in an innovation-driven environment where transparency, autonomy, and trust fuel everything we do.
You may not meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If this role excites you, we’d love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity.
This is a remote position. We are seeking candidates in US and Canada.
The Opportunity
Application Core Services (AppCore) is a group within Platform, in the Foundations department. We build and operate systems that support Grafana’s business operations and customer experience, working closely with product teams and internal business partners.
The Usage squad works on billing, rates, usage calculations, usage visibility and cloud marketplace integrations. Our software helps customers understand their consumption and costs, and helps internal teams operate accurate, reliable billing processes.
We are looking for a Staff Fullstack Engineer with strong backend experience who enjoys making complex business systems reliable, understandable and easier to operate. You will help deliver new capabilities while improving existing services, reducing repetitive manual work and addressing edge cases that affect customers and internal stakeholders.
This is a hands-on Staff engineering role within the AppCore Usage squad. You will lead complex technical work, contribute directly to implementation and share ownership with the squad’s other Staff and Senior engineers. Your primary focus will be Usage’s systems and outcomes, collaborating with adjacent teams when the work requires it.
Our ownership includes application code, data stores, deployment configuration and the cloud infrastructure supporting our services. You should be comfortable following a problem across those boundaries and making improvements with the appropriate platform teams.
We are remote-first and global. For this role, we prefer candidates in NASA’s Eastern Time zone to provide more overlap with our EMEA colleagues.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your initial focus will be approximately 75% backend and 25% frontend. This balance will evolve with the squad’s priorities. You should be comfortable delivering across the stack, from business logic and APIs through to the interfaces customers and internal teams use.
Design, build and operate backend services and APIs supporting billing, rates, usage calculations, usage visibility and marketplace workflows.
Build and maintain backend services primarily in Go, with Node.js also present in our stack, and contribute to TypeScript/React applications to deliver complete features.
Improve the correctness and reliability of billing and usage workflows, including validation, reconciliation, error handling and recovery.
Identify recurring manual tasks and replace them with maintainable automation, clear operational workflows and appropriate controls.
Maintain and evolve the infrastructure supporting our services, including Kubernetes workloads, scheduled jobs, cloud resources and deployment configuration.
Use infrastructure as code and automated delivery pipelines to make changes repeatable, reviewable and safe across environments.
Investigate production issues across application code, databases and infrastructure, including resource exhaustion, failed jobs, slow queries and replication delays.
Plan and execute service deployments, database changes and infrastructure migrations, including validation, monitoring and recovery plans.
Build and maintain integrations with cloud marketplaces and external business systems where required by the squad’s work.
Deliver projects from understanding requirements and proposing an approach through implementation, testing, rollout and production support.
Make changes traceable and testable, supporting audit requirements and clear explanations of system behaviour.
Collaborate with product management, Support, DealOps, GTM, infrastructure teams and adjacent AppCore squads to clarify requirements and resolve dependencies.
Share technical leadership through design discussions, code reviews, mentoring and practical improvements.
Participate in the squad’s on-call rotation after onboarding. Improve dashboards, alert quality, runbooks and recovery procedures, and follow through on incident findings.
What Makes You a Great Fit
You enjoy engineering work where correctness, reliability and business impact matter. You find value in improving an established system, removing a recurring operational problem or making a billing workflow easier to understand and support.
You take ownership from understanding the problem through delivery and production support. You can turn an ambiguous request into manageable increments, make sound trade-offs and follow through without needing each step prescribed. You ask useful questions, seek feedback and raise uncertainty or blockers early.
You adapt as priorities change, learn unfamiliar systems and technologies, and contribute where the squad needs you. You bring a strong backend specialty while remaining willing and able to work on frontend features and supporting infrastructure.
You reason about how a service behaves in production: how it is deployed, where its data lives, what happens when dependencies fail, and how the team detects and recovers from problems.
You communicate clearly in writing and in conversation. In a distributed team, you make decisions, progress and risks visible so colleagues can contribute across time zones. You work independently while staying connected to the squad.
As a Staff engineer, you bring technical depth and sound judgment while remaining close to implementation. You collaborate constructively with other experienced engineers, welcome different perspectives and help the squad reach decisions and move forward.
We embrace thoughtful use of AI-assisted development. We value engineers who use these tools to support exploration, implementation, testing and documentation while taking responsibility for the quality and correctness of the result.

Solvd Inc. is a rapidly growing AI-native consulting and technology services firm delivering enterprise transformation across cloud, data, software engineering, and artificial intelligence. We work with industry-leading organizations to design, build, and operationalize technology solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
Following the acquisition of Tooploox, a premier AI and product development company, Solvd now offers true end-to-end delivery—from strategic advisory and solution design to custom AI development and enterprise-scale implementation. Our capability centers combine deep technical expertise, proven delivery methodologies, and sector-specific knowledge to address complex business challenges quickly and effectively.
Solvd is migrating a Tier-1 US payments platform from a single AWS region to a multi-region architecture.
We're hiring multiple Database Engineers to implement the DynamoDB replication, failover, and operational tooling for this program. You'll work under the Principal Database Architect and partner with the client's data and SRE teams.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Implement and operate cross-region replication using Amazon DynamoDB Global Tables, ensuring reliable multi-region data replication, high availability, consistency, and disaster recovery.
- Codify everything in Terraform (or CDK).
- Build the observability layer for replication health: lag metrics, consistency checks, alarm thresholds, and runbook automation. Datadog is the primary observability stack; CloudWatch is the baseline.
- Author and execute failover and failback runbooks. Run game-days using AWS Fault Injection Service. Measure and report against RTO and RPO targets.
- Implement KMS cross-account replication, IAM service principals for replication roles, and the secrets and parameter strategy for region-local dependencies.
- Support data extraction from the monolith into microservices: build CDC pipelines (DMS, DynamoDB Streams, Kafka Connect, Debezium), validate data integrity, and own the cutover sequence for individual extractions.
- Pair with application engineers on connection-string abstraction, retry and idempotency patterns, and graceful degradation during region failover.
- Write design docs and runbooks the client team can take over after the engagement.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING (REQUIRED)
- 8+ years in production database engineering on AWS, with hands-on responsibility for at least one of: payments, banking, brokerage, or comparable financial-services workloads.
- Deep production experience with DynamoDB and at least two of: Aurora MySQL, Cassandra, ElastiCache (Redis or Valkey), DocumentDB, Neptune. Working knowledge of at least two more.
- Practical experience with cross-region replication in production using DynamoDB Global Tables: you've configured and operated multi-region DynamoDB deployments and handled failure scenarios such as replication conflicts, regional outages, replication delays, and consistency or version-skew issues.
- Strong Terraform (or CDK). You can build a multi-region module from scratch and explain the trade-offs.
- Comfort with CDC tooling (DMS, DDB Streams, Kafka Connect, or Debezium) and the operational gotchas (schema drift, ordering guarantees, replay).
- Linux, networking fundamentals (VPC, Transit Gateway, peering, DNS), and IAM / KMS proficiency.
- Solid written communication and ability to operate in a regulated client environment.
NICE TO HAVE
- Cassandra multi-DC operations experience at scale (nodetool workflows, repair strategy, tombstone management, cross-region anti-entropy).
- AWS MSK or Kafka MirrorMaker 2 experience for cross-region event replication.
- Experience with Datadog Database Monitoring and custom CloudWatch metrics.
- AWS Database Specialty or Solutions Architect Associate / Professional certifications.
When you join Solvd, you'll…
- Shape real-world AI-driven projects across key industries, working with clients from startup innovation to enterprise transformation.
- Be part of a global team with equal opportunities for collaboration across continents and cultures.
- Thrive in an inclusive environment that prioritizes continuous learning, innovation, and ethical AI standards.
Ready to make an impact?
If you're excited to build things that matter, champion responsible AI, and grow with some of the industry’s sharpest minds. Apply today and let’s innovate together.
Solvd is an equal opportunity employer.

This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
What we're looking for:
• 8+ years of experience in performance marketing, demand generation, or growth marketing.
• Hands-on experience managing paid channels such as affiliates, paid social, display, native, programmatic, direct buys, or emerging channels.
• Experience supporting a sales-led growth motion and connecting marketing activity to Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs), Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs), pipeline, and revenue.
• A track record of driving measurable pipeline and revenue impact through paid B2B programs.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to make thoughtful decisions using incomplete or imperfect data.
• Experience partnering with campaign, analytics, marketing operations, or other cross-functional teams to improve performance.
• Experience marketing complex technical products to audiences such as developers, information technology (IT) professionals, or other technical decision-makers. Experience in cybersecurity or familiarity with artificial intelligence (AI) tools and automated workflows is also a plus.
What you can expect:
• Own the B2B performance marketing and demand generation strategy for a sales-led growth motion, aligning paid programs with pipeline and revenue objectives.
• Develop annual and quarterly roadmaps informed by business goals, audience insights, performance trends, and experimentation results.
• Manage paid channels and platforms end to end, from strategy and execution through optimization, reporting, and continuous improvement.
• Evaluate Return on Investment (ROI), marginal returns, and channel performance to guide budget shifts, scaling decisions, and investment strategy.
• Monitor leading indicators such as leads, MQLs, conversion rates, and Cost per Lead (CPL), as well as downstream pipeline, opportunity volume, and revenue influence.
• Design, execute, and analyze experiments across audiences, channels, creative, offers, and funnel stages, translating results into scaled programs and clear recommendations.
• Partner with Global Campaigns, Analytics, Marketing Operations, and external vendors to improve lead quality, strengthen campaign performance, and share actionable insights.

Our culture https://duckduckgo.com/how-we-work of trust, inclusivity, and empowered project management underpins everything we do, where each team member takes full ownership of their projects, from scoping and execution to postmortem. If you're seeking end-to-end ownership of your work, you've come to the right place!
YOUR TEAM AND ROLE
As a Director, Paid Marketing, working on the Marketing & Communications team, you’ll be a strategic leader responsible for building and scaling a profitable paid subscriber acquisition program and related projects. Partnering closely with marketing, product, design, user insights, data science and finance teams, you will own KPI development, campaign strategy, budget and resource allocation, and performance measurement.
You'll lead strategic roadmapping, prioritize high-impact projects, resource cross-functional teams, and ensure marketing performance is measured with a high degree of confidence. The right person is excited to prove that paid marketing growth and privacy-respecting advertising practices aren’t at odds — they’re our edge. You know how to use aggregate measurement, experimentation, and strong judgment rather than user-level targeting and tracking.
Example projects include:
- Leading the development of and alignment around a break-even model that defines a profitable CPA
- Planning integrated campaigns and securing buy-in to drive profitable paid subscriber growth
- Designing and executing rapid testing cycles to identify and scale successful tactics
ABOUT YOU
- 10+ years of professional experience, including 4+ years in a senior leadership role driving profitable app subscription growth (ideally 1M+ subscribers).
- Deep strategic expertise with a strong hands-on understanding of marketing channels (e.g., app store ads, paid social, mobile app networks), integrated campaign planning and execution, performance measurement, audience alignment, and creative best practices.
- Proven track record of launching paid app subscription acquisition programs from the ground up, including setting cost-per-subscription targets, developing media plans, establishing measurement frameworks, and shaping creative and messaging.
- Experience working at a consumer-facing tech company with a meaningful US user base (ideally 10M+ MAUs) and multiple products.
- Skill in developing others, not just directing them, with demonstrated improvements in collaboration, expertise, productivity, and business impact.
- Ability to apply first-principles thinking to break down ambiguous growth opportunities, challenge assumptions, identify the key drivers, and turn them into focused, achievable initiatives.
- Comfort working in resource-constrained orgs where opportunity cost and impact are key drivers for prioritization and resource allocation.
- High capability in analytics and measurement, including app economics (payback, LTV), incrementality/lift testing, modeling, and data analysis.
- Excellent communication skills — you can clearly articulate recommendations and rationale, verbally and in writing, at all organizational levels.
- Willingness to use AI and build effective workflows, accelerating work through AI agents.
