Responsibilities
Payment System Development:
Design, develop, and optimize OKX Pay's payment backend systems; build highly available, high-concurrency, scalable payment infrastructure.

Contribute to core QR/scan-to-pay functionality across the critical path — payment code generation, scan recognition, order creation, payment confirmation, state transitions, timeout handling, risk-control validation, and exception compensation.
Transaction Processing & Fund Flows:
Design and implement secure, stable transaction processing systems covering orders, payments, clearing and settlement, reconciliation, refunds, and callback notifications.
Crypto & Stablecoin Payments:
Build crypto and stablecoin payment capabilities — on-chain transfers, transaction confirmation, address management, asset crediting, and payment-status synchronization — and integrate them with traditional payment experiences.
System Stability & Problem Solving:
Safeguard the stability of core payment flows; diagnose and resolve complex production issues including performance bottlenecks, data-consistency problems, fund-security risks, and abnormal transaction scenarios.
Technical Optimization & Engineering Quality:
Continuously improve system architecture, code quality, monitoring and alerting, exception compensation, and observability to raise the security, reliability, and maintainability of the payment system.
Requirements
Java Backend Experience:
Solid Java development skills, fluent in Spring Boot and mainstream Java backend frameworks, with experience building high-concurrency, high-availability systems.
Payments Domain Experience:
Hands-on experience with payment systems and their core flows — payment orders, payment state machines, callback notifications, reconciliation, refunds, clearing/settlement, and exception compensation.
Scan-to-Pay Experience:
Background in scan-to-pay, acquiring, aggregated payments, merchant payments, wallet payments, or similar products, with familiarity across the full business and technical chain.
System Design:
Strong architecture design ability, capable of designing reliable transaction paths, state-transition mechanisms, and idempotency, retry, and compensation mechanisms.
Data Consistency & Fund-Security Awareness:
Understanding of the importance of data consistency, transaction handling, idempotency, deduplication, concurrency protection, risk-control validation, and fund security in payment systems.
Crypto / Stablecoin Payment Understanding:
Familiarity with the fundamentals of crypto and stablecoin payments and on-chain asset movement, including on-chain transfers, transaction confirmation, address systems, Gas, and crediting confirmation.
Problem-Solving:
Able to independently troubleshoot complex production issues, with strong log analysis, tracing, performance-optimization, and recovery skills.
Ownership & Execution:

Scan-to-Pay / Acquiring Experience:
QR payments, merchant acquiring, aggregated payments, payment gateways, cross-border payments, or offline payment scenarios.
Account & Ledger Systems:
Experience with payment accounts, fund accounts, merchant accounts, ledger systems, clearing/settlement systems, or reconciliation systems.
Blockchain Fundamentals:
Familiarity with the transaction mechanisms, address models, and asset-transfer flows of EVM, Tron, Solana, or other mainstream chains.

Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
Join Anthropic's Customer Success team in a high-visibility & high-impact role driving AI adoption across a small number of strategic accounts in our Enterprise Tech segment. As our dedicated Outcomes AI Manager for Strategic Tech Customers you’ll be their partner and trusted advisor helping them harness the full potential of all our Claude capabilities - API, Claude Code, Cowork, and other surface areas.
You'll work with a book of global technology leaders to actively deploy AI and reshape the technology landscape. You’ll be working with key partners who are moving fast and pushing the boundaries of what's possible with LLM technology. Your role will entail developing genuine partnerships with the customer and key stakeholders, gaining a deep understanding of their multi-pronged business objectives, strategic direction, AI vision, and technical needs. You'll draw on both your business acumen and technical expertise to serve as a strategic advisor throughout their journey with us.
In partnership with the broader account team, you will help customers identify the right Claude capabilities for their specific business objectives, working closely with them to provide best practices and guidance while supporting them as their usage grows and evolves.
Your role focuses on helping customers scale their usage effectively, drive model and use case optimizations, implement change management strategies, and maximize the value of their investment through expanded use cases across their organization. The insights you gather from your customers will directly inform our research priorities, product development, and go-to-market strategies — making you a key voice in shaping how we build and deliver ongoing value as a business.
Responsibilities:

Become an expert in Anthropic's products across API, Claude Code and Cowork, understanding the technical nuances and best practices for each to guide customers to the right solutions
Leverage your deep knowledge of each customer, and the patterns you see across your other Tech accounts, to proactively drive consumption planning and the value story behind it, developing credible ROI hypotheses and quantifying outcomes that build the case for continued and expanded investment.
Monitor usage patterns and identify optimization opportunities across Claude surface areas (API, Claude Code, Cowork) to drive full value from contracted commitments
Serve as the customer’s thought partner, enhancing their knowledge of Claude products by socializing Anthropic’s product roadmap, driving awareness on new products and engaging Product PMs
Develop and execute change management strategies to drive end-user adoption and maximize value within customer organizations, including Train the Trainer programs, Center of Excellence development, and organizational enablement
Ruthlessly prioritize across the account's many business units and workstreams, building programmatic, repeatable motions
You may be a good fit if you have:
6+ years of experience in Customer Success, Technical Account Management, Solutions Engineering, or Strategy Consulting
Experience working with F500 technology companies, SaaS platforms, or digital-first businesses at the exec level—ideally including high-growth and established tech companies.
You understand what it means to lead organization-wide change or adoption programs (multiple functions, hundreds of users) for a product that requires C-suite sponsorship
Technical fluency with ability to understand and articulate AI/ML concepts, API integrations, and software implementation patterns across a set of diverse stakeholders—from developers and product managers to executives and end users
Proven track record managing a portfolio of accounts while maintaining strong relationships and driving measurable outcomes — you can run multiple enterprise motions in parallel without letting any account go quiet.
Cross-functional collaborator who represents the customer in a positive, proactive manner, rallying everyone around paths forward that solve customer needs
Passion for AI and interest in responsible development of advanced systems. You have built with Claude Code, automating your own workflows with agents, skills, and tooling.
A knack for bringing order to chaos and an enthusiastic "roll up your sleeves" mentality

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

ABOUT BASETEN
Baseten powers mission-critical inference for the world's most dynamic AI companies, like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma, and Writer. By uniting applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and seamless developer tooling, we enable companies operating at the frontier of AI to bring cutting-edge models into production. We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F https://www.baseten.co/blog/announcing-our-series-f/, led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
We’re looking for a customer-obsessed software engineer to come ship with us. You’ll own features like multi-node training and products like serverless reinforcement learning (RL) from conception to MVP (and from MVP to GA!). You’ll work through the stack, architecting solutions from API and UI down to our infrastructure layer. You’ll fine tune models yourself to develop an understanding of user workflows. You’ll work closely with research engineers leveraging state-of-the-art training techniques to build experiences that accelerate model development and solve for real pain points. If you’re excited to dive deep into the training, let’s talk!
THE PRODUCT

- Research we've done https://www.baseten.co/resources/research/
EXAMPLE INITIATIVES
- Checkpointing Pipeline: Our checkpointing pipeline starts with automated checkpointing, a feature that ensures that versions of models created during training are automatically backed up to the cloud. Users are able to then deploy checkpoints seamlessly into inference servers, providing point-and-click integrations into inference frameworks like vLLM and Baseten’s Inference Stack. This enables customers to quickly evaluate the performance of their checkpoints with real traffic.
- Multinode training: Multinode training enables customers to easily run training jobs across multiple compute nodes, enabling users to train large models like GLM 4.7 and DeepSeek. We’ve built deeply at the Kubernetes layer to ensure that scheduling, startup, inter-node communication, and shutdown happen seamlessly under the hood and as the user expects.
- Training DX: Customers come to train on Baseten because it helps them get to value fast. To do this, we ensure that the features we ship aren’t just fast, but are easy to iterate with. We enhanced Baseten’s metrics from pod-level GPU summaries to per-GPU and per-Node. We’ve built a CLI experience that caters to terminal users, and UI experiences that enable user to seamlessly manage their training jobs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Iterate like crazy
- Design ergonomic APIs and abstractions to model complex resources and lifecycles
- Work throughout the stack (API layer, backend and database implementation, infra layer; frontend is a plus) to implement features.
- Fine-tune and deploy models to develop intuition around training workflows.
- Partner closely with model developers and world-class research engineers to understand the requirements and pain points of post-training workflows.
- Drive long-term improvements to improve reliability of systems and velocity of development
- Fix bugs & resolve customer issues with urgency
REQUIREMENTS

- Familiarity or experience with the open source training stack and frameworks (NCCL, PyTorch, Megatron, NemoRL, VeRL, Axolotl, HF Trainer) and distributed training techniques (FSDP, DeepSpeed).
- Experience developing AI products, tooling, or agents
- Frontend fluency
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.

Next.js experts work on deep customer code optimization, performance audits, AEO and SEO, and teaching customers how to build Next.js apps with AI instrumentation - such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, etc with Next.js and Vercel agent skills. The AI builder profile is less focused on deep Next.js experience, and more on identifying, evangelizing, and building AI applications and agentic workflows. Your job in this role will be to understand customers’ businesses, scope, design, and build AI agents, and prove their value. The two profiles are not mutually exclusive and we appreciate expertise in both.
You will report to the Global Manager of Forward Deployed Engineering. This role is remote-first with travel to customer sites expected occasionally. Travel requirements vary, but most of our engineers travel no more than 3-4 days every other month.
What you'll do
Build production AI solutions
using Vercel's
eve
framework, AI SDK, and AI Cloud infrastructure, including conversational interfaces, production agents, MCP servers, and agentic workflows that transform customer operations.
Lead complex frontend migrations -
modernizing legacy React, Vue, or other frameworks to Next.js, including Pages to App Router transitions, incremental adoption strategies, and large-scale codebase transformations. Automation of migrations is key to engineering efficiency.
Conduct code audits and help analyze and improve website performance
, analyzing customer codebases for performance bottlenecks, architectural anti-patterns, and optimization opportunities - delivering actionable roadmaps that drive measurable improvements.
Architect and implement high-performance Next.js applications
, leveraging App Router, Server Components, streaming, ISR, and advanced rendering strategies to meet enterprise scale and performance requirements.
Embed with strategic customers
to build production applications - working within their systems, understanding their constraints, and shipping TypeScript code that goes live.
Drive enablement and knowledge transfer
through workshops, pair programming, and documentation - ensuring customer teams can extend and maintain solutions independently.
Navigate complex enterprise environments
by building relationships with stakeholders across engineering, product, and executive teams - translating technical capabilities into business outcomes.
Contribute to our service evolution
by identifying repeatable patterns, building reusable components, and sharing implementation insights back to Product and Engineering teams.
What you need
6+ years of experience
in software engineering with at least 2 years in a customer-facing technical role (consulting, solutions architecture, forward deployed engineering, or technical founder experience).
Experience using AI instrumentation
such as harnesses, skills, and MCPs to build and deploy web applications, backend systems, and/or agentic workflows.
High agency with comfort in ambiguity -
you thrive when given a problem to solve rather than a task to complete, and you can navigate complex organizations to create a plan and drive a project.
Exceptional communication skills
with the ability to conduct technical discovery, present to executives, mentor engineers, and build lasting customer relationships - all with a low-ego, collaborative approach.
Business acumen
to understand customer objectives, translate technical capabilities into ROI, and identify expansion opportunities throughout engagement lifecycles.
Willingness to travel
occasionally to customer sites for embedded work and relationship building.
Next.js-focused Candidates:
Expert-level TypeScript skills -
You are fluent in TypeScript and have strong opinions on type safety, patterns, and tooling.
Deep expertise in Next.js
, with a proven track record of architecting and delivering complex applications using App Router, Server Components, server-side rendering (SSR), static generation (SSG), and incremental static regeneration (ISR), and personalization.
Demonstrated experience leading frontend migrations -
you've converted legacy applications to Next.js, navigated incremental adoption strategies, and understand the challenges of migrating large codebases in production environments.
Mastery of React
and its ecosystem, including advanced state management, performance optimization, and modern patterns like streaming, suspense, and concurrent features.
AI-focused Candidates:
Production experience with LLMs and AI applications
, including agent development, cloud sandbox & filesystem agent patterns, human-in-the-loop patterns, and value optimization. Familiarity with Vercel's eve framework and AI SDK is strongly preferred.
Ability to identify business cases for AI agents
- many customers need guidance not only on how to build AI agents, but where and why to use AI. You’ll need to listen and understand a day-in-the-life of customers’ teams to build proposals.
Bonus if you
Have led enterprise AI transformation initiatives, including building production agents that automated manual processes or replaced legacy systems.
Have taught others how to develop software using AI, best practices for building agents, harnesses, skills, and MCPs.
Have led large-scale migrations from legacy frameworks (Create React App, Gatsby, custom webpack setups) to Next.js in enterprise environments.
Have expertise in performance optimization and Core Web Vitals, with experience diagnosing and fixing LCP, CLS, and INP issues at scale.
Have contributed to the Next.js, React, or AI SDK open-source projects, or maintain popular related libraries.
Have experience with enterprise deployment patterns including security reviews, compliance requirements, and multi-region architectures.
Have a background in financial services, healthcare, retail/e-commerce, or media - industries with complex frontend ecosystems and growing AI adoption.
