We’re building a Content Design function from scratch and we need people who want to be a part of that.

We're looking for a Senior FP&A Specialist to act as a finance partner to our business units and support decision-making across the company.
In this role, you'll work directly with department heads on their budgets, projects and performance. You'll consolidate the company budget from department inputs, manage the monthly forecasting process, build long-term financial models with a five-year horizon, and calculate the economics and KPIs of department projects. You'll also track variances between plan and actuals, prepare management reports and presentations on financial performance, and participate in the automation of the planning process.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the finance business partner for a group of departments across the full cycle of their initiatives — from early idea, to budget approval, to post-launch review
Join department planning discussions and business reviews as the finance voice in the room, and translate their roadmaps and operational plans into financial outcomes
Challenge business assumptions and cost drivers, and propose alternatives when the numbers do not support the plan
Give departments the financial context and trade-off analysis they need to prioritize between competing initiatives
Own the annual budget for your departments: collect and challenge department inputs, consolidate them into the company budget, and ensure the data is accurate and complete
Run the monthly forecasting process: update the outlook for actuals and flag deltas to the full-year plan early
Build and maintain long-term financial models with a five-year forecast horizon, including scenario and sensitivity analysis
Prepare business cases for department projects — unit economics, ROI, payback and break-even
Define and calculate the financial KPIs of department projects, and track delivered performance against the original business case
Explain variances between plan and actuals in business terms, and what they mean for the full year
Prepare management reporting and financial performance presentations for leadership reviews, and own the numbers in them
Reconcile financial data across sources for consistency and accuracy
Automate the budgeting process and build self-serve reporting so departments can track their own budgets between planning cycles

About the role
We are preparing the data foundation for our autonomous-driving work, and we are hiring the engineer who will start it. Today we collect street-level imagery and GPS tracks from vehicle cameras, including our own camera units with NVIDIA edge devices on board, and use them to update maps. Next comes a dedicated survey vehicle with a full sensor set: multi-camera, IMU, LiDAR. You will start with the imagery and map data pipelines we run today, and as the sensor platform arrives, you will build the pipelines that turn its data into training datasets for autonomous-driving models.
Key Responsibilities
Build the pipelines that move multi-sensor data (multi-camera video, IMU, LiDAR, GPS) from vehicles into cloud storage, synchronize and geo-reference the streams
Own the storage layout and lifecycle for sensor data: partitioning, hot and archival tiers, cost control as volume grows
Build validation and monitoring on the ingest path: incomplete uploads, missing or unsynchronized streams, vehicles that stopped producing usable data
Prepare training datasets for autonomous-driving models: select data by location, route, and conditions, version datasets, and deliver them in the formats ML teams need
Until then: take over and develop the current imagery and GPS-track pipelines from vehicle cameras, and contribute to geodata pipelines (ingestion from company data, OpenStreetMap, Overture Maps and vendors, conflation, validation, publication)
Work with company data in BigQuery and keep spatial queries fast on large PostGIS and GeoParquet tables
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
4+ years in data engineering
Experience with multi-sensor data from vehicles or robots: cameras, IMU or LiDAR, and keeping the streams in sync
Experience preparing training datasets for computer vision or autonomous-driving models.
Large volumes of binary or media data in object storage (S3 or GCS); distributed processing (Spark or equivalent)
Hands-on experience with spatial data: PostGIS, GeoPandas/Shapely, coordinate reference systems, GPS tracks
Strong Python and SQL; AWS or GCP, Docker, Kubernetes
Nice to have
Sensor data formats such as ROS2 bag, MCAP or point clouds
Parquet, Delta or Iceberg; Databricks
Argo Workflows or Airflow
OpenStreetMap and Overture Map

Define the right balance between building internal capabilities, using external platforms and working with specialised partners.
Establish product metrics across demand, supply, data quality, unit economics and contributor experience.
Run discovery and experiments to improve acquisition, activation, task completion, retention and payout experience.
Work closely with Commercial, Engineering, Data, Operations, Legal, Privacy, Information Security and market teams.
