We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms.
We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
The Role
As a member of the US Talent Acquisition team focused on Sales and Go-To-Market hiring, you will be instrumental in building and scaling Mistral's US-based revenue-generating teams from the ground up. Joining early means you'll help shape both our GTM recruitment strategy and operations, partnering closely with GTM leadership across Sales, Pre-Sales/Solutions, Partnerships, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations. Your work will directly influence our commercial success by ensuring we find and engage exceptional operators who will drive Mistral's growth in the US market. In this role, you'll also foster a strong candidate experience and help establish GTM recruiting best practices as we expand across the US.
What You Will Do
GTM Stakeholder Partnership
- Partner deeply with GTM leaders — from CRO and VP Sales to Pre-Sales and Customer Success leadership — to understand hiring needs, define role specs, and identify the right commercial talent.
- Own full-cycle recruitment across all GTM functions: AEs (Enterprise, Mid-Market, SMB), SDRs, Solutions/Sales Engineers, Partner Managers, CS leaders, and RevOps
- Advise hiring managers on market mapping, leveling, comp positioning, and competitive landscape for US GTM talent
- Translate the nuances of each GTM role into compelling, accurate candidate outreach
End-to-End GTM Recruitment
- Own the full recruiting lifecycle from sourcing to close, operating with autonomy on complex, high-volume GTM roles.
- Source passive and active candidates across US GTM talent pools, particularly in AI/ML, open-source software, and enterprise infrastructure markets
- Conduct intake and calibration sessions with hiring managers to align on ideal candidate profiles and stage expectations
- Drive efficient, high-conversion pipelines and close candidates in a fiercely competitive market for senior GTM talent
Candidate Experience & Selling Mistral
- Guide candidates through the hiring process with clear communication and a compelling narrative about Mistral's mission, culture, and trajectory.
- Articulate Mistral's positioning in the AI landscape — frontier models, open-weight philosophy, and enterprise credibility — to differentiate us against better-known competitors
- Provide candidates with real insight into our GTM motion, growth plans, and the specific impact of their role
- Deliver a high-quality, respectful candidate experience at every stage, regardless of outcome
Recruiting Operations & Data-Driven Improvement
- Develop and refine GTM recruiting processes, tools, and documentation to improve outcomes and efficiency.
- Use data to diagnose pipeline issues (e.g., drop-off at specific stages, time-to-fill by role) and propose targeted solutions
- Build and maintain market maps, competitive intel, and talent pools for key US GTM segments
- Standardize GTM interview rubrics, scorecards, and debrief practices across US GTM hiring teams
Raising the Bar
- Collaborate with GTM leadership and the broader Talent team to continuously elevate our hiring standards.
- Contribute to defining and evolving our GTM talent acquisition strategy in the US as we scale from early commercial team to mature GTM org
- Partner on employer-brand and outbound sourcing initiatives that position Mistral as a destination for top GTM talent
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of recruiting experience, including 2+ years in a startup or high-growth B2B SaaS/infrastructure company, with a focus on Sales and GTM roles
- Demonstrated ability to independently hire across the full GTM stack — from SDRs to senior AEs, Solutions Engineers, and GTM leadership
- Deep network and sourcing expertise in US GTM talent markets, particularly in AI/ML, open-source, developer tools, or enterprise software
- Track record of hiring in competitive, candidate-scarce markets where GTM candidates have multiple offers
- Experience working across multiple US markets
- Willingness to work on other roles as needs come up
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and switching between strategic planning and hands-on execution
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence peers and senior GTM stakeholders without direct authority
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle shifting priorities across a high-volume hiring slate
- Professional experience with modern recruiting tools such as Ashby
- Familiarity with the AI/ML landscape and the ability to credibly discuss frontier model capabilities with technical GTM candidates

We are seeking a
Staff Full Stack Engineer
to set the technical direction for and scale Mattermost’s core web platform for teams operating in defense and critical infrastructure sectors. You’ll drive architecture and technical strategy across our Go backend and React/TypeScript web frontend — partnering across teams to ship features that hold up under strict security, compliance, and reliability requirements
.
Our engineering culture is AI-forward. We expect engineers to work fluently with AI coding agents such as Claude Code day-to-day — for scaffolding, refactors, code review, and test generation — and treat that as core craft rather than a shortcut. We would rather hire smart people who get stuff done than chase an exact tech-stack match. If you have a track record of shipping and owning complex software end-to-end, we want to hear from you.
What You Will Do
Define and drive the technical architecture and roadmap for Mattermost’s core web platform across multiple engineering teams, spanning Go, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Redis
Set org-wide standards and best practices for AI-agentic engineering workflows — going beyond personal fluency with tools like Claude Code and Cursor to shape how the broader engineering org adopts them, while retaining accountability for correctness, security, and design decisions
Lead the internal tooling and testing infrastructure strategy that speeds up delivery for the broader engineering org, not just your immediate team
Own the testing strategy and quality bar across frontend and backend systems, and hold other engineers accountable to it through design reviews and mentorship
Drive architectural decisions for REST and WebSocket API design, grounded in deep networking fundamentals
Partner directly with security, compliance, and product leadership on strategic technical bets tied to our government and enterprise customer requirements
Mentor senior engineers and act as a technical multiplier across the org
Contribute to and help shape technical direction for Mattermost’s open-source codebase
What We Are Looking For
Required:
Senior full-stack development experience in Go and React (or a comparable stack), with a track record of owning complex systems end-to-end
Proven experience designing and owning distributed systems or high-availability service architecture at scale
Experience designing and consuming REST and WebSocket APIs with solid networking fundamentals
Relational database experience including PostgreSQL, schema design, and query optimization
Hands-on daily fluency directing AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot for scaffolding, refactors, code review, and test generation — with the judgment to know when to trust the output and when to take the wheel yourself
Demonstrated ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams without relying on formal authority
Experience mentoring senior engineers and raising the technical bar for a broader team
Comfortable operating in regulated or high-compliance environments (e.g., enterprise security, government, or critical infrastructure requirements)
Nice to Have:
Prior experience operating as a staff, principal, or technical lead engineer at another company
Experience maintaining (not just contributing to) an open-source project
Program-level familiarity with compliance frameworks relevant to defense or government customers (e.g., FedRAMP, ITAR)
Experience helping scale engineering practices or standards across a growing organization
Background in defense, intelligence, or critical infrastructure products
Experience building tools, skills, or workflows on top of AI coding agents including MCP servers, agent skills, or CI-integrated agents
How Success Is Measured
First 90 Days: Build cross-team credibility by shipping a meaningful full-stack feature on the core platform, while assessing the technical landscape and identifying the highest-leverage architectural or process improvements to pursue.
Why Mattermost
Mission-driven work: Your contributions directly support the organizations and missions that depend on secure, reliable collaboration including the U.S. Department of War and critical infrastructure operators worldwide
Remote-first culture: Work from anywhere with a globally distributed, high-trust team built for autonomy and ownership
AI-forward environment: We actively adopt and build AI-enabled workflows. Agentic development is core craft here, not a novelty
End-to-end ownership: Ship and own complex software across the full stack with real accountability for what you build
Open source at the core: Be part of a vibrant developer community shaping the future of secure collaboration
Compensation
Mattermost takes a market-based approach to pay. Actual compensation may vary based on location, skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions.
Target Salary Range: $172,724 – $227,135

ABOUT DOCKER
Docker has been one of the most loved brands in developer tooling, trusted by more than 20 million monthly users and over 20 billion container image pulls. From solo founders to the world's largest companies, developers rely on Docker to build, share, and run their applications across our suite of products including Docker Desktop, Docker Hub, and Docker Scout.
We are a globally distributed, remote-first team building the tools that define how software gets built and delivered. As AI agents redefine software development, Docker is at the center of that shift, providing the sandboxed environments, verified images, and secure infrastructure that make autonomous workflows trustworthy by default.
_______________________________________________________________________
Secure Build builds and operates the infrastructure behind Docker's container builds. The team owns Docker Build Cloud and Docker Hub Automated Builds while developing the next generation of trusted build and CI capabilities. Its direction is to make Docker the trusted place CI runs: isolated execution, brokered access to secrets and networks, and verifiable evidence of what each build or test job did. The work spans Go services, container and build technology, cloud infrastructure, sandboxing and software supply-chain security, alongside the operational responsibility for production systems customers already depend on.
SCS Services builds the backend systems and product capabilities that help developers understand, secure and ship software with confidence. The team powers important parts of Docker Scout and Docker Hardened Images, including the services and workflows that turn supply-chain data into useful developer, customer and agent experiences. Its estate is deliberately polyglot, with Clojure and Go services, event-driven workflows, Kafka, legacy Datomic components and newer Spanner-backed services. It also supports the customer journey around discovering, assessing, subscribing to and managing hardened artefacts.
We are looking for one Engineering Manager to lead both teams. Together they sit at the centre of Docker's secure software supply-chain work: one creates trusted build outcomes, while the other turns build, artifact and dependency data into services and experiences used across Scout and Docker Hardened Images. This is a two-team leadership role with separate roadmaps, production responsibilities and technical domains. The teams should deliver independently, with explicit contracts and joined-up ownership where their services connect.
You will own the health, delivery and growth of both teams and make the trade-offs that keep them effective as a portfolio. You will not be expected to be the deepest expert in every language or domain. You will need enough technical breadth and current engineering judgement to engage credibly in designs, reviews and incidents across both teams, set direction with strong senior engineers, and recognise when the right answer is to create space for their expertise.
THE KIND OF PERSON WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The successful candidate leads first. They are an experienced engineering manager who can inherit two capable teams, earn trust quickly and help each become a high-performing, value-delivering part of the wider Docker organisation. They are deliberate about where they spend their attention, protect both teams from becoming the second priority, and make portfolio trade-offs visible rather than allowing urgency, proximity or the loudest stakeholder to decide.
They stay close to the technical work without trying to own every technical decision. They can hold a substantive conversation about distributed backend systems, event and data pipelines, build and CI infrastructure, trust boundaries and production operations. They are active in design and review, useful during incidents and willing to get hands-on where that moves the work forward. The balance still tilts strongly to leadership, coaching, delivery and organisational judgement.
They care about security as a product and engineering property, not only as compliance. They understand how modern attacks exploit identity, secrets, dependencies and build systems, and they can reason about the evidence customers need to trust an artefact or workflow. They lead through judgement, clarity and unblocking rather than ceremony for its own sake. Above all, they grow the engineers around them and help both teams ship outcomes developers and enterprises can rely on.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead Secure Build and SCS Services, owning delivery, team health, growth, performance and operational excellence across both.
- Turn two changing roadmaps into a coherent portfolio plan with explicit priorities, capacity and trade-offs, and create leadership coverage so neither team becomes the permanent second priority.
- Partner with Product to shape strategy and roadmaps for secure build, Docker Scout, Docker Hardened Images and the services that connect them.
- Stay close to the technical work through design and code review, incident response and selective hands-on contribution where it adds leverage.
- Ensure each team's technical direction supports product, security, reliability and customer priorities, setting it collaboratively with Staff and senior engineers while leaving clear decision ownership with them.
- Own the interfaces between the teams, including trust boundaries, contracts, data quality, versioning, operational ownership and customer-facing failure modes.
- Balance new product work with inherited systems and on-call, and invest in reliability improvements driven by recurring operational pain.
- Own engineer growth and performance, handle difficult conversations directly, hire and retain strong people and build succession depth within both teams.
- Align Product, Design, Security, DHI Content, Registry, Hub, sales, support, commercial and legal partners while shielding the teams from churn.
- Lead disciplined use of AI-assisted engineering and communicate decisions, risks and progress clearly across UK and US working hours.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years managing high-performing engineering teams, with meaningful responsibility across more than one team or distinct technical domain.
- 8+ years of professional, hands-on software engineering experience in backend, infrastructure, platform or developer tooling.
- Experience leading, growing and retaining engineers at or above your own technical seniority, including teams you did not build and difficult performance conversations.
- A leader-first operating model, with current enough technical judgement to participate in design and review across unfamiliar systems without needing to be the best engineer in the room.
- Experience prioritising across competing roadmaps, operational load and stakeholder commitments, with clear mechanisms for allocating attention and capacity.
- Strong backend and distributed-systems judgement, including APIs, event-driven architectures, data stores, cloud-native infrastructure and production operations.
- Understanding of CI or build-system internals, containers and artefact workflows, plus a strong interest in software supply-chain security and trust boundaries.
- Experience leading teams that operate production infrastructure through on-call, incident response, observability, SLOs and the work required to reduce recurring operational load.
- Strong product judgement and evidence of shaping roadmaps with Product rather than only receiving requirements.
- Clear written and verbal communication, strong cross-functional influence, customer closeness and comfort leading a remote-first organisation across European and US time zones.
Helpful, but Not Required
- Experience with Go, Clojure or both, and evidence of becoming effective across a polyglot estate.
- Experience with Kafka, Spanner, Datomic or comparable event-streaming and distributed-data systems.
- Experience with OCI, BuildKit, Buildx, GitHub Actions or comparable build and CI platforms.
- Experience with sandboxing, microVMs, untrusted workload execution or multi-tenant infrastructure.
- Experience with SLSA, in-toto, SBOMs, VEX, Sigstore, cosign, provenance, signing or vulnerability scanning.
- Experience evolving legacy systems while shipping new capability for developer tools, security products, regulated customers or software-agent workflows.
WHAT TO EXPECT
FIRST 30 DAYS
- Build relationships with every engineer and the Product partners for both teams before changing structure, process or roadmap.
- Understand Secure Build's product direction, production estate and on-call load, including Docker Build Cloud and Docker Hub Automated Builds.
- Understand the SCS Services products, customers, architecture and operational profile, and map the dependencies, trust boundaries and ownership lines between the teams.
FIRST 90 DAYS.
- Own a coherent portfolio plan with both teams and Product, including explicit capacity for roadmap, reliability and cross-team work.
- Establish a sustainable operating cadence and leadership coverage that prevents either team depending on your constant presence.
- Agree ownership and escalation paths for shared services and failures, start one material improvement in each team and make progress and risk visible.
ONE YEAR OUTLOOK
- Both teams deliver predictably against a portfolio that connects secure build, Scout and Docker Hardened Images outcomes without collapsing their distinct missions.
- Secure Build has delivered material trusted-build or secure-CI capability and reduced operational risk in its inherited production systems.
- SCS Services has delivered material customer outcomes, while both teams have sustainable on-call, clearer ownership and senior engineers leading broader work.
Docker considers visa sponsorship on a case-by-case basis based on business needs.
Compensation & Equity
Canada: CA$244,550 – CA$392,150 + equity

Partnering closely with the Sr. Director, HR COEs, SDO, Procurement and OCIO, the role leads a team through significant platform and ways-of-working change, turning pillar strategy into a working technology capability for PCC.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Technology Roadmap Execution & Platform Sequencing
Co-develop with the Workforce Intelligence and HR Technology Leader and execute the multi-year HR technology roadmap Evaluate, select, and sequence platforms and agentic AI across the ecosystem (Workday, Moveworks, ServiceNow Now Assist, Payfactors, Power BI, Qualtrics) against business outcomes
Operating-Model & Workflow Redesign (ahead of Workday configuration)
Partner with the HR COEs and the four-zone workflow classification to redesign HR workflows and AI–human handoffs before Workday is configured, so Zone 1 and Zone 2 automation is built natively pre-go-live rather than retrofitted. This sequencing is the highest-leverage lever for FY27 and prevents PCC from hardcoding today’s inefficiency into the system for years.
Platform Migration, AI Agent & Automation Delivery (SuccessFactors → Workday)
Lead end-to-end delivery of the Workday migration and the deployment of conversational and agentic AI (Moveworks, Now Assist), owning project plans, configuration, testing, cutover, and hypercare. Define which workflows are automated versus human-led, monitor agent performance and quality, and manage vendors and budget. Close partnership & collaboration with Procurement, OCIO & SDO through all phases required. Final budget and contract decisions made with partners and Sr. Director
Data Governance, Privacy & Responsible AI
Build and safeguard the data foundation for AI.": an HR data quality audit ahead of migration, operationalizing the data governance policy that defines what AI systems can access, and Workday as the single source of truth. Advance People Analytics maturity and the skills taxonomy that underpins workforce planning.
Team Leadership, Adoption & Employee Experience
Lead and develop the HR technology team, reskilling it as work shifts from configuration to AI orchestration. Apply product and user-experience thinking, and drive adoption and change management so employees and managers experience HR technology as fast, intuitive, and trusted.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
10+ years of progressive HR technology / HRIS experience, including 5+ years leading and developing teams, and prior experience operating at a leader level or equivalent scope.
Demonstrated experience leading an enterprise HCM platform implementation or migration (e.g., Workday and/or SAP SuccessFactors).
Experience redesigning HR processes and workflows for automation — mapping current state, eliminating waste, and designing AI–human handoffs ahead of system configuration.
Hands-on experience deploying or operating enterprise AI and automation tools — conversational and agentic AI and AI-enabled service management (e.g., ServiceNow / Now Assist, Moveworks).
Strong AI literacy: a working understanding of large language models, AI agents, prompt design, and responsible/ethical AI, data governance, privacy, and security.
People analytics and data fluency — able to turn HR data into insight and design trusted reporting and dashboards.
Proven project and change management skills, delivering across cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors on time and on budget.
Demonstrated experience owning technology vendor relationships and negotiating contracts at a half million threshold or above
Product- and outcome-oriented mindset — frames technology investments in terms of business and employee-experience outcomes.
Preferred Experience:
Workday certification(s) and/or ServiceNow HR Service Delivery experience.
Experience in a high-growth SaaS or technology company.
Experience establishing AI governance, human-in-the-loop frameworks, or classifying workflows by AI impact.
Experience with integration architecture (APIs, iPaaS) and enterprise HR data governance.
Experience with data privacy and security in a regulated or healthcare environment (e.g., PHI / HIPAA).
Experience leading and developing a technical HR / HRIS team.
Familiarity with UX and service-design methods applied to employee-facing technology.
Relevant certifications (PMP, Prosci / change management, HRIP, CHRP / SHRM).

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic is seeking a partnerships leader to own the tri-party motion for systems integrator partnerships selling through AWS. Global systems integrators and specialist SIs are how Claude reaches enterprise customers at scale, and AWS is the surface most of that work runs on. You will own the intersection of those two ecosystems.
In this role, you will build the go-to-market motion that turns partner interest into joint pipeline and closed revenue, working across AWS's partner organization and the AWS practices inside the world's largest integrators. You will define how Claude is positioned inside AWS partner programs, design the commercial mechanics that let partners transact and get rewarded, and build the joint plays that partners take to their customers.
This is a build role. The partner ecosystem is early, the programs are still being designed, and you will be operating across three organizations whose incentives on any given deal don’t always line up. You will help shape how frontier AI technology reaches the enterprise through the services ecosystem.
You will report directly to the Head of AWS GTM Partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the GTM strategy for our systems integrator partnerships through AWS, including co-selling motions, joint business plans, events and segment-specific plays
Own forecasting, pipeline development, and revenue targets for partner-sourced and partner-influenced business
Design the commercial mechanics that make the partner motion work, including deal registration, marketplace program structure, and incentives
Build and maintain executive-level relationships across AWS's partner organization and across partner AWS practice leadership
Work with partners to develop repeatable, industry-specific solutions built on Claude, and help them build the delivery capability to take those solutions to market
Partner cross-functionally with Anthropic's alliances, sales, partner marketing, and regional cloud teams to keep the motion consistent globally while regions execute locally
Create and implement scalable processes for partnership operations, including escalation management, business reviews, and reporting
Provide strategic market intelligence and competitive insights on the partner ecosystem to inform product and commercial strategy
Identify where to concentrate investment across the partner portfolio and make the case to stop investing where returns are not there
Minimum qualifications
12+ years of enterprise partnerships, alliances, or business development experience, with meaningful time spent on partner ecosystems
Proven track record of building and scaling partnerships with systems integrators, consultancies, or channel partners
Experience building a co-sell or channel motion from the ground up, including the commercial mechanics behind it
Deep understanding of how cloud and partner field organizations operate, and the incentives that drive seller and partner behavior
Track record of carrying and hitting a partner-sourced or partner-influenced revenue number, with credible forecasting behind it
Strong executive presence and demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders where you have no formal authority
Excellence in strategic planning, business operations, and program management
Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution, and a willingness to concentrate effort rather than spread thin
Experience working with technical products and translating complex capabilities into business value
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Preferred qualifications
Previous experience working with AWS or another hyperscaler partner organization
Working knowledge of systems integrator operating models, including practice structures, delivery economics, and how services revenue drives partner decisions
Background in AI/ML technologies or with developer-focused platforms and their partner ecosystems
Experience scaling partner programs at a company moving from early traction to significant partner-driven revenue
Management consulting experience earlier in your career

How we're different

And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.

About Vercel:
Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide.
About the role
We are looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our Procurement team. You will own strategic sourcing for critical cloud infrastructure and AI providers, helping Vercel secure the compute, storage, and infrastructure capacity we need as we scale. You will develop commercial models that balance competitive economics with flexibility, avoiding commitments that constrain growth while creating transparent pricing that improves as our usage scales. Vercel's spend and revenue are scaling fast, and our sourcing motion has to scale with it — you'll know when to move fast versus when to hold the line on process, partnering closely with Legal, FP&A, and Security to get deals done without unnecessary friction. This role reports to the Head of Procurement.
If you’re based within a pre-determined commuting distance of one of our offices (SF, NY, London, or Berlin), the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. For location-specific details, please connect with our recruiting team.
What you'll do
Lead sourcing strategy and commercial negotiations with cloud infrastructure providers and hyperscalers.
Structure complex IaaS, compute, storage, and capacity agreements that balance committed spend, consumption growth, flexibility, and long-term unit economics.
Design pricing structures (tiered, committed-volume, usage-based) that reflect how Vercel actually consumes vendor services, and that scale with our growth trajectory.
Own strategic sourcing for emerging AI infrastructure and hyperscaler relationships, including commercial models supporting high-volume or customer-facing AI workloads.
Partner with Engineering, Finance, Legal, and other teams to forecast demand, understand technical requirements, evaluate suppliers, and translate Vercel's growth into sourcing leverage.
Analyze provider pricing, consumption patterns, contract structures, and market dynamics to identify opportunities to improve economics and reduce commercial risk.
Build and maintain AI-powered sourcing tools and playbooks (leveraging Claude, v0, etc.) for redlining, negotiation prep, benchmarking, and vendor reporting — raising throughput and deal quality across the team.
Help define what an AI-native sourcing function looks like at Vercel as spend and deal volume continue to climb.
What you need
Strong analytical skills — rate/unit-cost analysis, TCO modeling, pricing model design — able to find the real economics underneath a vendor proposal.
Comfortable operating at pace: high deal volume, ambiguity, imperfect information, and a bias toward execution over perfection.
Clear, direct communicator with executives, both internally and across the negotiating table.
You have significant strategic sourcing experience owning cloud infrastructure deals, including direct experience negotiating with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle, or comparable infrastructure providers.
You understand cloud infrastructure commercial models, including IaaS, compute, storage, consumption-based pricing, committed spend, discounts, and capacity agreements.
You have led complex, high-value negotiations where rapidly changing consumption makes forecasting and long-term commitments challenging.
You can evaluate the tradeoffs between commitment, flexibility, unit economics, pricing transparency, and negotiating leverage as infrastructure usage scales.
You have experience partnering with technical and financial stakeholders to translate infrastructure requirements and forecasts into sourcing and negotiation strategies.
You have experience managing strategic supplier relationships and contracts through negotiation, execution, consumption monitoring, and renewal.
Bonus if you
Have experience sourcing AI/ML infrastructure, data services, or technical services for an engineering-heavy organization.
Have negotiated directly with AI hyperscalers or providers of large-scale AI compute and inference infrastructure.
Have experience sourcing SaaS and other enterprise software alongside infrastructure.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive compensation package, including equity.
Inclusive Healthcare Package.
Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
Flexible Time Off.
We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.
The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $150,000 - $180,000. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role. Your recruiter can share more details during the hiring process.
