SF IDEO Senior BxD Designer
IDEO San Francisco is in search of a Senior Business Designer who will frame complex business problems, translate insights into viable growth opportunities, and drive ideas toward real-world activation.
The role:
At IDEO, we help clients move forward when the path isn’t clear — whether driven by ambition, responding to disruption, or breaking out of entrenched ways of working.
As a Senior Business Designer, you’ll help teams and organizations turn bold ideas into viable, real-world outcomes — shaping new products, services, and ventures while building the business models, strategies, and pathways to bring them to market. Working across the spectrum from insight to execution, you’ll use business tools, systems thinking, entrepreneurial creativity, and strategic analysis to drive competitive advantage and strategic growth for our clients.
The right person for this role has strong business acumen and strategic instincts, with experience in growth strategy, product management, go-to-market execution, or venture creation. They’re comfortable navigating ambiguity, working with multi-disciplinary teams, influencing senior stakeholders and building conviction for new ideas. They quickly understand how a business creates and captures value, connecting market insights, customer needs, and financial drivers into compelling strategies — moving work forward with the right balance of rigor and creativity to drive real impact.
Why is this role important for IDEO’s work?
Business Designers make the biggest impact by turning ambiguity into clarity and connecting insights to commercially viable opportunities. Their skillset is critical to our work because they bring together strategy, business decision making, market understanding and business model thinking to help clients create and capture value. We count on them to move work beyond ideas into action and provide clear, informed pathways for winning investments.
Once here you will:
Creatively problem-solve by generating new ideas, viable business models, value propositions and go-to-market strategies for new products, services, and ventures, exploring unconventional or hidden solutions in a business context
Build an understanding of IDEO’s client organizations, and partner with clients to drive change and innovation within their teams and organizations
Conduct market, competitive, and financial analysis to identify new and emerging opportunities, inform decisions, shape business cases, and build conviction for new ideas
Synthesize research, data, and insights into clear narratives that guide decision-making and align stakeholders
Translate complexity into action by developing and leading experiments or pilots that produce insights to help create innovation roadmaps to scale recommendations in real-world contexts
Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams with designers across all creative and technical disciplines (design research, interaction design, data science, communication design, etc.)
Facilitate client workshops and conversations that drive alignment, momentum, and strategic decisions
Continuously grow with, as well as upskill, the Business Design craft through knowledge sharing and bringing unique perspectives to the greater IDEO community
Relevant experiences/skills:
Qualified candidates for this role will have:
A minimum of 4 years of full-time working experience – in a past life, you may have worked in strategy consulting, venture design, product strategy, product management, product innovation, corporate strategy, business insights, business analytics, business planning, go-to market, and/or growth strategy
Strong business acumen; i.e., broad knowledge or exposure to strategy, marketing, finance, operations, product development, organizational design, etc — MBA beneficial but not required
Experience in business design, strategy, product management, venture building, or innovation roles
Ability to creatively problem-solve in a business context, i.e. generate multiple alternative ways to address feasibility, viability, and desirability, including ways that are not obvious
Comfort working in ambiguous situations with limited direction, independently shaping problem definitions and approaches
Ability to interpret and communicate complex business ideas to different audiences, through text, visual, and verbal communications
Experience working across stakeholders and influencing decisions in complex organization
Track record in making ideas real and tangible, from concept to execution roadmap, as an entrepreneur and/or intrapreneur, and bringing others along with you
Strength in synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data into clear insights, recommendations and narratives, supporting decision making across options and making potential impact clear
Strong storytelling and strategic narrative-building skills

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
GTM Systems builds and runs the platform that Sales and contracting operate on. These are production systems that process real transactions and produce the data the rest of the company depends on, and the team has grown into a scope where the engineering practices need to grow with it. The platform-developer model got us here. The next stage is a team that operates as software engineers on top of it.
We are hiring a technical lead to build that next stage. You will design and stand up the engineering motions the team runs on, from pull requests and CI/CD through automated UAT, and you will set the technical bar by working alongside the team rather than legislating from the side. Anthropic is also an unusual place to do this work: our own frontier models are part of your toolkit, the team already uses them daily, and a real part of this role is turning that individual usage into a coordinated engineering practice.
Key responsibilities
Lead architecture reviews for GTM systems that process lead-to-cash transactions and generate the data points the organization runs on, including changes originating in other teams that land on our platform
Architect and mature the engineering pipeline the team develops against: pull request workflow, CI/CD, automated UAT, and the deploy path from source control to production
Establish shared AI-assisted development standards for the team, converting existing individual usage into consistent practice that holds up under review
Work with engineering teams outside GTM on shared architectural problems and common tooling, where the right answer is a platform decision rather than a local one
Build and shape the agentic tooling running on top of our platform, and set the pattern other engineers follow when they build the next one
Trace the dependency chain from upstream data and downstream quoting and provisioning systems, and make sure design decisions account for what they break
Partner with the platform developers on the team as engineering practice deepens, expanding what the team can safely ship
Minimum qualifications
Have strong software engineering fundamentals: version control discipline, testing, code review, deployment automation, and a bias toward simple designs
Have built the delivery pipeline for a team, not just worked within one, and can describe the sequencing choices you made
Have led a team through a step change in engineering practice as its scope grew, including what you did when adoption slowed
Work fluently with AI coding tools and agentic development workflows, and have views on how a team should standardize around them
Can run a technical discussion across teams that do not report to you and leave it with a decision rather than a follow-up meeting
Reason about systems you do not own well enough to predict how your changes affect them
Prefer influence through demonstrated work over positional authority
Preferred qualifications
Have worked on business-critical enterprise platforms where financial correctness and auditability mattered
Have experience with Salesforce or comparable enterprise platforms, including their metadata and deployment models
Have built tooling or agents on top of an enterprise system of record
Have operated in a company under audit or compliance constraints
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$320,000
—
$405,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
For roles performing work in California:
We will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with arrest or conviction records or criminal histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable state and local laws, including the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, the City of Los Angeles’ Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers, and the California Fair Chance Act.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Are you ready to join our digital revolution journey?
At Aleph, we’re not just part of the digital advertising landscape—we’re shaping its future. Representing the world’s leading platforms, including TikTok, Amazon, Google, and nearly 55 others, we operate in 130+ markets across new and existing geographies.
Our mission is to empower advertisers and brands to unlock the full potential of these platforms' advertising capabilities. By fostering long-lasting partnerships, we create limitless opportunities for people and businesses to advertise effectively at both local and global levels.
With a presence spanning continents, Aleph offers you the chance to be part of a fast-growing, innovative team where your work makes a direct impact. If you’re ambitious, forward-thinking, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, global environment, Aleph is the perfect place to build your career.
Aleph is launching Pinterest advertising in Uruguay and Paraguay. As the first Client Partner on the ground, you'll be building the portfolio from scratch — a rare opportunity to introduce a platform to an entire market and own the results.
Pinterest is one of the most distinctive platforms in the digital landscape: highly visual, deeply intentional, and uniquely positioned at the intersection of inspiration and purchase intent. Users come to plan their next trip, home renovation, or outfit. For the right advertiser, that mindset is gold. Your job is to help them see it.
What you'll do
Lead the commercial launch of Pinterest advertising in Uruguay and Paraguay — evangelizing a platform with no prior commercial presence in these markets.
Build a pipeline from zero: prospect, prioritize, outreach, and close.
Educate advertisers and agencies on Pinterest's formats and performance potential, acting as much as an educator as a salesperson.
Develop strong relationships with decision-makers at agencies and direct clients across both markets.
Partner closely with the CSM team for seamless campaign delivery and client satisfaction.
Use data and analytics to measure performance, optimize strategy, and exceed KPIs including sales growth, client retention, and platform adoption.
What you need for this role
3 to 5 years of experience in digital advertising sales, media, or marketing.
Real, existing relationships with marketing decision-makers in Uruguay (Paraguay is a strong plus).
Proven ability to hunt new business — you build your prospect list and work it.
Solid understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem: performance, display, video, native, programmatic.
Strong track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targets.
Organized, data-driven, and comfortable in a build-from-scratch environment.
Fluency in Spanish and English.
What will make us really love you
You're genuinely drawn to Pinterest's world and you can translate that into an advertiser pitch.
You anticipate challenges and take initiative before things become problems.
You thrive on teamwork but bring a driven, goal-oriented spirit.
You have genuine tech curiosity — you adopt new tools, test them, and make them part of your workflow.
You leverage AI for research, briefs, and prep — then apply your judgment to build the relationship.
You think analytically: data and pipeline signals drive your decisions, not just gut feeling.
You're comfortable being the first — first call, first pitch, in a market that's never been approached before.
Why Join Us?
Aleph is a place of many cultures, perspectives, and talents. We support each other, creating an environment of giving and receiving. We value partnership and communication because we believe it takes a group of people to achieve great things. We are energized by our ever-changing industry, our curiosity keeps us learning and seeking out new opportunities.

ABOUT US
At LangChain, our mission is to make intelligent agents ubiquitous. We build the foundation for agent engineering in the real world, helping developers move from prototypes to production-ready AI agents that teams can rely on. We began as widely adopted open-source tools and have grown to also offer a platform for building, evaluating, deploying, and operating agents at scale.
With $125M raised at Series B from IVP, Sequoia, Benchmark, CapitalG, and Sapphire Ventures, we’re at a stage where we’re continuing to develop new products, growth is accelerating, and all team members have meaningful impact on what we build and how we work together. LangChain is a place where your contributions can shape how this technology shows up in the real world.
Today, our platform includes LangSmith (Observability, Evaluation, Deployment, Fleet, and Sandboxes), our open source frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, and Deep Agents), and the newly launched LangSmith Engine for autonomous agent improvement. We have 100M+ monthly open source downloads, 6,000+ active LangSmith customers, and 5 of the Fortune 10 use LangSmith in production (+ 35% of the Fortune 500 overall), including teams at Klarna, Clay, Coinbase, Workday, Lyft, Cloudflare, Harvey, Rippling, Vanta, LinkedIn, Monday.com, Nvidia, and Bridgewater.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We're looking for a Product Designer to help shape the experience for the developers and teams who build on LangChain. You'll work across our core product surfaces, and depending on where the need is greatest, that could include how developers get from first signup to real production usage, as well as deeper platform workflows like debugging, evaluation, and observability.
The common thread is developers doing technical, often high-stakes work, and needing an interface that gets out of their way. You'll partner with engineering, product, and other designers to figure out where the friction is and design your way out of it.
*This position will be onsite in San Francisco, CA
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Build a deep understanding of how developers actually use LangChain's products through interviews and feedback sessions so your design decisions are grounded in real behavior and address user needs
- Own the full design arc on your features — from early concepts to polished, shipped work
- Work across a range of product areas and design initiatives as priorities shift
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering and other key stakeholders to ship new features quickly
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- 3+ years of fullstack product design experience ideally working on developer tools, AI, or complex SaaS products
- Sharp eye for detail, with a strong foundation across user-centered design, interaction design, and visual craft
- A track record of solving hard interaction design problems, particularly around dense technical data
- Data-driven decision making - you are comfortable driving user research, both with internal stakeholders and external customers, and using what you learn to inform your designs
- You take initiative and ownership of tasks end-to-end
- Strong technical acumen - you collaborate effectively with engineers to design things that are both well-crafted and feasible
- Start-up DNA - you thrive in fast-paced, highly dynamic environments
Annual salary range: $145,000-$185,000
Compensation Philosophy:
We offer competitive compensation that includes base salary, variable compensation for relevant roles, meaningful equity, benefits, and perks.
We are hiring for this role across a range of scope, and the compensation band reflects that. Your offer depends on what we learn about your impact, craft, leadership, and communication during the interview process. We will tell you early where you’re tracking and talk comp with you before offer stage. Team members in the EU, UK, and APAC receive locally competitive benefits aligned with regional norms and regulations.
BENEFITS
Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, flexible vacation, a 401(k) plan, meals on in-office days in the US and more.
Location: South Africa

About Nebius:
Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure.
Built by engineers, for engineers. From large-scale GPU orchestration to inference optimization, we own the hard problems across compute, storage, networking and applied AI.
Listed on Nasdaq (NBIS) and headquartered in Amsterdam, we have a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, the UK, North America and Israel. Our team of 1,500+ includes hundreds of engineers with deep expertise across hardware, software and AI R&D.
The role
Nebius Token Factory is looking for scientists who can turn frontier LLM and VLM inference bottlenecks into research questions, conduct rigorous experiments, and translate their findings into production capabilities. You will own focused research and optimization projects, write strong code, and produce prototypes, publications, and technical artifacts that engineers can build on.
Your research will span quantization, distillation, speculative decoding, KV-cache optimization, and model/runtime co-optimization, alongside inference engines and distributed inference architectures. You will investigate how these approaches interact, evaluate their trade-offs across model quality, latency, throughput, memory footprint, and cost per token, and work with engineering teams to bring promising results into production.
Your responsibilities
:
Lead research projects in efficient LLM and VLM inference, from hypotheses and experiments through ablations, prototypes, and production handoff.
Develop and evaluate methods spanning quantization, quantization-aware training (QAT), distillation, speculative decoding, KV-cache reuse, KV-cache compression, long-context inference, MoE routing, and model/runtime co-optimization.
Build prototypes using PyTorch, Triton, CUDA-adjacent tooling, or inference-serving frameworks, and collaborate with MLEs and platform engineers to turn them into production components.
Research LLM request routing and scheduling strategies, including cache-aware load balancing and prefill–decode disaggregation (PDD). Evaluate how queueing, KV-cache transfer, worker placement, and prefill/decode capacity allocation affect latency, throughput, and serving cost.
Investigate multi-node inference for dense and mixture-of-experts models, including wide expert parallelism (WideEP). Study expert placement, load imbalance, and computation/communication trade-offs, and use the findings to guide model and system architecture choices.
Develop rigorous evaluations covering quality, latency, throughput, numerical stability, memory footprint, tail latency, and cost per token. Compare serving architectures under consistent workload conditions and GPU budgets.
Work with MLE, GPU kernel, backend infrastructure, product, and customer teams to select research priorities with measurable production impact.
Share results through internal reports, technical blogs, papers, and open-source artifacts, and mentor engineers and scientists on experimental design, scientific rigor, and model/system trade-offs.
Must-haves
:
A PhD in computer science, machine learning, ML systems, computer systems, computer architecture, electrical engineering, applied mathematics, or a closely related discipline.
A strong publication record or equivalent research artifacts in ML, ML systems, efficient inference, model compression, quantization, distillation, serving systems, or related areas.
Strong Python and PyTorch implementation skills, with the ability to turn ideas into experiments and working prototypes.
Deep knowledge of LLMs, VLMs, transformer inference, decoding algorithms, model compression, quantization, and production-serving trade-offs.
Strong experimental design skills covering ablations, baselines, metrics, statistical reasoning, and failure analysis.
Excellent written and verbal communication.

Anthropic's Enterprise AI Products team builds what makes Claude a daily-use tool for enterprise customers across industries. We focus on organizational context and workflows (plugins, skills, connectors, webhook-triggered processes / agents). In other words, we focus on products that form the connective tissue that lets Claude operate across an organization. A big part of this work is understanding what's blocking adoption and building the capabilities that close those gaps. Much of this is being built 0→1 right now: you'll be shaping the product and the architecture in a market where no one has done this well yet.
You'll be a technical leader who thinks holistically about the end-to-end customer experience, partners directly with research to push model capabilities into production, and carries real ownership over what we ship next.
What you'll do
Own technical design and delivery for enterprise-facing core products, end-to-end across the stack
Partner with product, design, and go-to-market to turn enterprise customer workflows into shipped product, not just execute against a spec
Set technical direction and standards for your team: architecture, code quality, and how the team builds
Work directly with enterprise customers and sales during key conversations, translating what you learn into engineering priorities
Work closely with research to make the models better in your domain: shaping evals, surfacing failure modes, and feeding customer learnings back into model development
Mentor other engineers and raise the technical bar across the team, working with influence rather than authority
Build multi-player, asynchronous agents: department-level processes that are goal-oriented, many-step, and triggered by a webhook, a form, or an email rather than a person typing
You may be a good fit if you
Have 8+ years of software engineering experience, ideally with 2+ years at a Staff or equivalent technical leadership level
Have led the design and delivery of complex enterprise or B2B products across the full stack
Have built AI products and know what it takes to turn model capabilities into applications people actually use
Are comfortable working directly with enterprise customers and translating what you learn into technical decisions
Have built products from 0 to 1 in fast-moving environments, and can set technical direction with limited precedent to lean on
Drive cross-team alignment to ship impactful work, with influence over authority
Strong candidates may also have
Experience working with research to improve domain-specific model capabilities, including evaluation frameworks
Experience building extensibility surfaces (plugins, integrations, agent tooling) that third parties or internal teams build on
Exposure to both product-led growth and direct enterprise sales
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$405,000
—
$485,000 USD
If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit

directly for confirmed position openings.
