Location: Remote-Friendly (Travel-Required) | San Francisco, CA | Seattle, WA | New York City, NY About Anthropic Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role Claude Code is changing how engineering organizations build software, and most of them need someone to show them how. That's you. Technical Architects help customers get real work done with Claude Code, Claude Tag (Claude Code as an agent in Slack), and the enterprise admin controls that decide whether a rollout succeeds. You'll teach customers, partners and Anthropic's own field teams. Just as important, you'll train the trainers who carry that knowledge to everyone else. We're hands-on AI engineers who would rather teach than sell. You'll work alongside customer engineering organizations, teaching them about Claude Code and shepherding rollouts with advanced admin knowledge. Most weeks you're in front of an audience with Claude Desktop or a terminal open: thousands of engineers on a public webinar one day, a customer's platform team in their own conference room the next week, office hours in between. The prep material often reaches you the day before. The team is growing quickly this year, scope will grow as new products ship, and the people who join now will shape how it works. Responsibilities Teach in every format. Take a standing rotation on Anthropic's public webinars in front of thousands of engineers at a time. Lead workshops and multi-day onsites, in person and virtual, built around a customer's own codebase and questions. Host office hours and multi-week cohorts where engineers, partners, and account teams bring live problems. Teach the teachers. Run train-the-trainer programs for customer technologists and champions, and certify them to deliver Anthropic's material. Empower admins. Educate enterprise admins on the technical requirements for a strong rollout by guiding them through single sign-on, permissions, connectors, spend controls, data-handling policy, and other advanced topics. Build fast with Claude. Turn a request into a polished deck, demo repository or plugin within a day, using the tools you teach. Explore new features the day they ship. Pick up a teammate's material and deliver it as if you wrote it. Bring field signal back to product. Tell the Claude Code, Claude Tag and Cowork teams what customers run into, specifically enough that they can fix it. Be the technical voice in the room. Partner with account executives, customer success managers, Applied AI Architects, support engineers and partner leads. Travel. Expect 30 to 50%, in bursts around onsites, workshops and events. You may be a good fit if you have 5+ years as a software engineer, solutions architect, developer advocate or similar. You still ship code and regularly teach engineering audiences. Current engineering range. You've shipped code other people depend on. You can go deep with a senior engineer anywhere in the stack. You use Claude Code or a similar agentic tool every day and have opinions about it. Big-stage presence. You've held large live audiences. You sound practiced with material you got that morning, and a broken demo doesn’t faze you. Range in one conversation. You can go from banter to a rigorous design discussion, and both feel natural. Care for people. You do right by a struggling customer, and you won't leave a confused room behind. Initiative. You build things without waiting for permission, and you say when an idea is half-formed, including your manager's. Steadiness when priorities shift, timelines are short and colleagues are under pressure. Comfort with ambiguity in a fast-moving industry and product suite. A stake in safe AI. You care that large organizations deploy AI responsibly, and you want to help them do it. You love being on the frontier. You want to work at the edge of what’s possible and help define what comes next. Strong candidates may also have Depth in enterprise identity and security review (SAML, OIDC, SCIM, SOC 2, HIPAA). Experience running Claude on Amazon Bedrock or Google Cloud Vertex AI. Time with regulated industries or with systems-integrator partners. A public record of technical teaching: talks, courses, videos or writing. An interest outside technology you can talk about with the same energy. The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $250,000 — $365,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices. Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team. Your safety matters to us. You will be able to grow into the role that most aligns with your goals. Our team members at all levels have the freedom to explore ideas and impact the roadmap and vision of our company. The Role We are hiring a Compliance Associate to support our bank sponsorship relationships and the compliance workstreams behind new product and market expansion. You will sit at the center of Product, Engineering, Legal, and our sponsor banks: translating partnership agreements and regulatory requirements into concrete product requirements, preparing the documentation our bank partners rely on, and helping launches move quickly without compromising on compliance. This is a high-visibility, execution-heavy role for someone equally comfortable reading a bank partnership agreement and sitting in a product spec review. You will see products from concept through launch and own the compliance record that makes each launch defensible. What You'll Do • Serve as a day-to-day compliance point of contact for sponsor bank partners — responding to diligence requests, preparing materials, and tracking open items to closure. • Review new products, features, and market expansions for compliance impact, and translate applicable regulations and bank partner requirements into clear, actionable product requirements. • Build and maintain compliance documentation: requirement matrices, policies and procedures, launch checklists, control descriptions, and risk assessments. • Read and interpret bank partnership agreements, network rules, and regulatory guidance, and flag where product designs create obligations or gaps. • Partner with Product and Engineering from the start of the design process so compliance requirements are built in rather than retrofitted. • Support disclosure, marketing, and UX reviews for accuracy and consistency with consumer protection expectations (UDAAP, Reg E, Reg Z, Reg CC). • Support bank partner oversight activities, audits, exams, and third-party risk assessments — including evidence collection, remediation tracking, and follow-up. • Monitor regulatory and network developments relevant to card issuing, BaaS, and stablecoin-linked payments, and summarize the practical implications for the business. • Track compliance deliverables and deadlines across multiple concurrent launches and stakeholders, escalating risks early and clearly. What We’re Looking For • 4+ years experience in compliance, risk, or regulatory roles within banking, fintech, or payments. • Working knowledge of the bank sponsorship / Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) model and third-party risk management expectations. • Familiarity with core consumer financial regulations (e.g., BSA/AML, UDAAP, Reg E, Reg Z, Reg CC, EFTA, GLBA). • Ability to read and interpret bank partnership agreements, regulatory guidance, and compliance requirements, and translate them into clear, actionable product requirements. • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills — comfortable working directly with Product, Engineering, Legal, and bank partners. • Excellent written communication skills, including experience creating compliance documentation (requirement matrices, policies, checklists). • Detail-oriented with strong project management and organizational skills; comfortable tracking multiple deliverables and deadlines across stakeholders. • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess compliance risk and prioritize issues. Bonus Attributes • Prior experience working directly with a sponsor bank or bank partnership team. • Experience at a fintech, neobank, or payments company. • Familiarity with product and project management tools. • Professional certification such as CRCM (Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager), CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist), or similar. • Experience supporting bank exams, audits, or third-party risk assessments. • Exposure to stablecoins, digital assets, or cross-border payments. Location: Remote-US Workplace: remote We're a small, growing marketing team. We’re seeking a systems thinker who can contribute marketing ideas, tasks and projects with a combination of elbow grease, AI skills, creative problem solving and drawing on their lived experience. This person will get pointed at a problem and expected to solve it, sometimes with minimal direction and assistance. Metabase is used by hundreds of thousands of people to answer questions about their own data, most of whom aren't analysts. We've always believed the best marketing for a tool like ours comes from people who use it. So we're looking for someone who is closer to our user than to a traditional marketing résumé: you've been the person on a team who figured out the data, wired up the integration, built the dashboard nobody asked for, and then explained it to everyone else. You bring that confidence to other tasks, including those you’re trying for the first time. If you've used Metabase, or you write SQL and have opinions about BI tools, we especially want to hear from you. You'd be marketing to yourself, which is a big advantage. You’ll be working closely with everyone on the marketing team, reporting directly to the VP of Marketing. You'd be joining at a point where the marketing team is small enough that what you build becomes how we do things. Responsibilities The specifics will shift dramatically. Over the first year, expect a mix of: Helping build and refine our marketing stack the way an engineer would: know what's connected to what, what's breaking, and what's quietly costing us money. Building integrations and automations between our tools using APIs, webhooks, MCPs and whatever glue is appropriate Publishing and managing webpages via github; optimizing via A/B tests; spinning up landing pages with minimal direction. Owning smaller channel experiments end to end, from hypothesis to write-up, including (especially) the ones that fail. Supporting our community events programs, including logistics, speaker wrangling, pre- and post-event comms, the data collection that makes an event worthwhile. Pressure-testing our messaging against your own experience as a data-curious person who uses tools like ours. What we're looking for You don't need a traditional marketing background. You do need to be data-curious, technically fearless and close to our target persona. The core traits we’re looking for are some combination of: You've used Metabase or are comfortable writing SQL. You have fluency with AI tools and know when to apply them. You communicate clearly in writing, which is vital for our remote, async culture. You have high-agency, are resourceful and are comfortable learning new things. You have experience in analytics, ops, support, consulting, engineering, product, or marketing. Working at Metabase Amazing views from our beautiful downtown San Francisco office Zoom channel Unlimited PTO, and a team that takes it Substantial equity in a venture-funded company Remote-first and async by default Small, engineering-led, and opinionated about building a product people like using We're bringing data tools with the elegance and simplicity of consumer products to the crufty world of enterprise business intelligence. Compensation The US base salary range for this role is $71.7K–$130K annually , plus equity and benefits. Compensation is determined by role, level, location, and individual qualifications, including skills, experience, and scope of responsibility. Pay may vary by geographic location and other job-related factors. US Benefits Our US benefits package also includes fully employer-covered medical, dental, and vision insurance (with 75% coverage for dependents), a 401(k) with employer match available to enroll after the first 30 days. How to apply Send us a resume and a short cover note. We read them. In the note, we'd love to know: What you've built or figured out that you're proud of, even if it was small and internal How you've used Metabase, or where you've used SQL Metabase is an equal opportunity employer. We're building a team of people with different backgrounds, and we mean it.
Location: San Francisco Workplace: Remote The Role You'll own a mostly greenfield enterprise territory and have a core focus on generating new logos New business usually starts with a team already running ClickHouse — open source, or a Cloud account someone expensed — until a bill or a security review pushes the conversation up to the platform team and the budget owner. Common triggers: an Elasticsearch or Splunk bill that's hard to defend, a warehouse that can't serve a customer-facing feature fast enough, an AI product querying tens of billions of rows. What You Will Be Doing - Own the full sales cycle for both new and existing accounts in your territory — first conversation through security review, procurement, and close, on Cloud commitments and multi-year committed spend. - Grow your install base by landing new teams and new use cases inside accounts that already buy from us. - Own renewals and consumption commitments, working with your Solutions Architect and Support to get ahead of usage and churn risk. - Watch consumption trends across your accounts and engage early when usage flattens or spikes. Both are signals. - Find and convert existing ClickHouse usage in new accounts. Unmanaged open-source deployments and self-serve Cloud accounts are the highest-yield source of new pipeline in this segment. - Multi-thread across the data platform team, the budget owner, security, and the executive sponsor rather than relying on a single champion. - Work with your Solutions Architect through the technical evaluation. They own the technical win, you own the commercial strategy and the close. - Run the procurement path: security questionnaires, legal redlines, vendor onboarding, and BYOC or private-deployment requirements. - Give your champion the internal business case — TCO comparison against the incumbent, migration plan, and risk mitigation. - Map the remaining teams and use cases in each account and build an expansion plan against them. - Keep Salesforce accurate and submit a forecast leadership can plan against, across both new business and expansion. - Participate in the developer community in your territory: meetups, conferences, and events. What You Bring - 6+ years selling technical infrastructure to enterprise buyers — databases, data platforms, cloud infrastructure, observability, or developer tooling. - A track record closing complex deals that went through security review, legal, and procurement. - Enough technical fluency to hold an architecture conversation. You don't need to write SQL, but you should be able to explain why a company moves a workload off Elasticsearch. - Experience carrying a hybrid quota — new business alongside expansion and renewal — and the discipline to work both rather than defaulting to whichever is easier that quarter. - Experience with consumption-based or usage-metered commercial models, where revenue moves with usage between contract events. - Experience selling into developer-led, bottom-up adoption as well as top-down. - Ability to orchestrate people who don't report to you — Solutions Architects, executive sponsors, partners, product managers. - Accurate forecasting, including when the number is bad. PERKS - Flexible work environment - ClickHouse is a globally distributed company and remote-friendly. We currently operate in over 25 countries. - Healthcare - Employer contributions towards your healthcare. - Equity in the company - Every new team member who joins our company receives stock options. - Time off - Flexible time off in the US, generous entitlement in other countries. - A USD$500 Home office setup if you’re a remote employee. - Global Gatherings – We believe in the power of in-person connection and offer opportunities to engage with colleagues at company-wide offsites.
