Data Center Strategy & Commercial Management Specialist
to support the ongoing evolution of SIE’s global colocation footprint. This role sits within the Technical Operations department of the Global Developer Future Technology Group (GDFT), the organization responsible for building and operating the data center infrastructure that underpins PlayStation’s Cloud Gaming, Broadcast, and Developer Platform services worldwide. Our colocation environments host critical workloads ranging from real-time game streaming to content distribution, developer build systems, and testing environments.
The successful candidate will lead the strategic planning, commercial management, and capacity management of SIE’s global colocation estate, ensuring infrastructure availability aligns with business growth, resilience, performance, and cost objectives. This role is responsible for translating business growth forecasts into practical colocation capacity, power, and infrastructure strategies across existing and future sites. The role combines commercial leadership, provider management, infrastructure planning, and technical coordination across a complex global environment.
This is not a facilities operations role; however, the successful candidate must possess strong technical literacy in colocation infrastructure, including mechanical and electrical resiliency models, power and cooling constraints, and operational dependencies, in order to support informed commercial, contractual, and strategic decisions.
Responsibilities:
Colocation Strategy & Capacity Planning
– Translate business growth forecasts and platform requirements into short-, mid-, and long-term colocation capacity strategies across existing and future sites, accounting for scalability, resiliency, performance, and regional demand.
Commercial Management
– Own the commercial strategy and lifecycle of SIE’s global colocation footprint, including renewals, expansions, exits, commercial obligations, and strategic capacity planning across multiple providers and regions.
Commercial Negotiations
– Lead commercial negotiations with colocation providers for renewals, expansions, new capacity acquisitions, and related commercial agreements in partnership with internal legal and procurement teams.
Provider Relationship Management
– Develop and manage strategic relationships with colocation providers, ensuring effective oversight of contractual obligations, service delivery, commercial commitments, escalations, and operational performance.
Infrastructure Planning Coordination
– Partner with operations, engineering, product, and business intelligence teams to translate deployment forecasts into actionable power, space, and capacity requirements across the global estate.
Colocation Sourcing & Market Analysis
– Support colocation sourcing activities including market assessments, provider evaluations, regional capacity analysis, commercial benchmarking, and expansion planning.
Vendor & Contract Oversight
– Manage contract governance, service-level oversight, commercial risk, and compliance requirements across a diverse global provider ecosystem.
Commercial Analysis
– Support sourcing and capacity decisions through commercial analysis, provider benchmarking, market comparisons, and evaluation of colocation pricing, terms, and service offerings.
Lifecycle Governance
– Maintain oversight of key commercial and operational milestones, including lease events, capacity commitments, renewals, expansions, migrations, and decommissioning activities.
Performance & KPI Management
– Define, monitor, and report on operational and commercial KPIs to drive accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement across the colocation estate.
Executive Reporting & Governance
– Develop reporting and governance frameworks that provide clear visibility into capacity, commercial exposure, provider performance, risk, and strategic opportunities.
Market & Industry Awareness
– Maintain awareness of colocation market trends, regional supply dynamics, pricing movements, provider capabilities, and industry developments to support strategic decision-making.
Regulatory & Sustainability Alignment
– Ensure infrastructure planning and commercial decisions align with environmental, sustainability, regulatory, and compliance requirements across multiple global regions.
Decision-Making & Strategic Recommendations
– Operate effectively in environments with evolving or incomplete business forecasts, providing infrastructure and commercial recommendations that balance growth, risk, timing, and cost considerations.
What We’re Looking For:
7+ years of experience in colocation strategy, data center commercial management, infrastructure sourcing, capacity planning, or related disciplines within large-scale global environments.
Demonstrated experience leading commercial negotiations with colocation providers, including renewals, capacity expansions, pricing negotiations, SLAs, and contractual commitments.
Strong understanding of colocation commercial constructs, including leases, service orders, SLAs, power commitments, contractual obligations, and provider governance models.
Experience managing colocation provider relationships across multiple regions, with understanding of market dynamics, supplier capabilities, and commercial models.
Strong understanding of colocation infrastructure, including power, cooling, resiliency, and capacity constraints, with the ability to connect technical considerations to commercial and business outcomes.
Experience translating business or deployment forecasts into actionable infrastructure capacity, power, and space strategies.
Experience supporting colocation sourcing activities including provider evaluations, market analysis, commercial assessments, expansion planning, and capacity negotiations.
Experience evaluating colocation commercial proposals, pricing structures, service offerings, and contractual terms to support infrastructure and capacity decision-making.
Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage complex datasets, contractual obligations, lifecycle milestones, and regional planning assumptions across a global footprint.
Experience developing governance processes, KPI frameworks, and executive-level reporting for infrastructure, commercial, or capacity management functions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence technical, operational, financial, legal, procurement, and business stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating within a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.
Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and tactical levels, balancing long-term infrastructure strategy with day-to-day commercial and operational priorities.

You’ll partner with Engineering, Design, and Go To Market (GTM) teams to turn complex security challenges into products that are clear, useful, and measurable. Reporting to the Director, Product Management – Device Security, this is a remote role open to candidates in the United States or Canada.
How we’re using AI today
Our Engineering, Product, and Design teams are thoughtfully integrating AI across the full software and product development lifecycle to move faster without sacrificing quality or security. We approach AI the same way we approach security: with clear principles, human accountability at every consequential decision point, and rigorous evaluation before anything ships to customers.

Workplace: Hybrid
OUR STORY:
Every year millions of people are either filing their taxes in fear or giving up on their tax refund altogether. We're working on fixing that. Our intuitive app enables anyone, regardless of education or background, to file their taxes with newfound confidence.
Spread across Germany, Spain and the UK, the team at Taxfix Group with its brands Taxfix and Steuerbot, is a compassionate group of solution-finders. We speak our minds openly, and with over 400 professionals, including tax experts, developers, and IT security experts, we're rich in ideas and voices. The group has facilitated more than 3.5 billion euros in tax refunds for its customers since its founding in 2016.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Taxfix is continuously evolving its business model for scalability in the context of a subscription-driven revenue base. This shapes how we plan, forecast, and measure the business, and it makes revenue planning one of the most interesting places to work in FP&A right now.
As Senior Financial Analyst in the FP&A team, you will take care of the company topline model and help shape a scalable revenue planning landscape. You will report to the Senior Director of FP&A and work closely with Product, Marketing, Monetization, Data, and Accounting, with regular exposure to the Senior Leadership team.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own the company topline revenue model: design, maintain, and continuously improve it, with clear accountability for forecast accuracy.
- Lead the redesign of the revenue modeling landscape toward a scalable, and auditable structure with a single source of truth.
- Build subscription economics into planning: recurring revenue, subscriber growth, retention and churn cohorts.
- Own scenario and what-if modeling for budgeting, pre-budgeting, and long-range planning, translating business questions into quantified options.
- Drive alignment of key KPI definitions across Finance, Data, and Accounting, contributing to a single company-wide KPI glossary.
- Deliver revenue insights and analysis for Board materials and investor reporting.
- Partner with Product, Marketing, and Monetization on pricing decisions, growth cases, and ROI assessments.
- Set modeling standards within FP&A and provide technical mentorship to junior analysts.
- Drive automation of recurring planning and reporting workflows, leveraging planning tools (Pigment) and AI-enabled solutions.
YOUR PROFILE:
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or a highly analytical role, ideally in a high-growth or subscription-based business; consulting or investment banking backgrounds welcome if combined with hands-on modeling ownership.
- Proven track of owning mindset of company-level revenue or topline model, not just contributing to one.
- Deep familiarity with subscription metrics: recurring revenue, cohorts, LTV, churn, retention, and customer acquisition economics, beyond high-level financial KPIs.
- Demonstrated experience simplifying or rebuilding complex legacy models into scalable structures.
- Hypothesis-driven mindset: you form a view, test it against data, and defend it with senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills; able to translate stakeholders input into scalable model structures with model output designed for management and Board audiences.
- Expert in Excel and Google Sheets; experience with planning tools (Pigment a strong plus) and cloud-based finance systems.
- SQL is a strong plus; Python, R, or BI tools are welcome.
- Confident with financial statements and accounting principles, able to link revenue drivers to P&L outcomes.
- Experience mentoring or coaching junior team members is a plus.
WHY TAXFIX?
- A chance to do meaningful, people-centric work with an international team of passionate professionals.
- Holistic well-being with free mental health coaching sessions.
- A monthly allowance to spend on an extensive range of services that you can use and roll over as flexibly as you like.
- Employee stock options for all employees—because everyone deserves to benefit from the success they help to create.
- 30 annual vacation days and flexible working hours.
- A generous learning budget to support your personal and professional development and guidance from our internal L&D experts.
- Work from abroad for up to six weeks every year. Just align with your team, and then enjoy your trip.

The AI orchestration of your wildest imagination.
n8n is the open workflow orchestration platform built for the new era of AI. We give technical teams the freedom of code with the speed of no-code, so they can automate faster, smarter, and without limits. Backed by a fiercely inventive community and 500+ builder-approved integrations, we’re changing the way people bring systems together and scale ideas for impact.
Since our founding in 2019, we’ve grown into a diverse team of over 260 - working across Europe and the US, connected by a shared builder spirit and with our centre of gravity in Berlin. Along the way, we’ve:
- Cultivated a community of more than 650,000 active developers and builders
- Earned 190K+ GitHub stars, making us one of the world’s Top 40 most popular projects
- Backed by top investors, from Sequoia’s first German seed to our SAP's recent strategic investment - bringing us to a $5.2bn valuation
That’s the company we’ve built. Now we’d love to see what you can build. If you’re applying, try n8n out - whether you’re technical or not - and share a screenshot of your first workflow with us. The easiest place to start is here: app.n8n.cloud/register http://app.n8n.cloud/register.
We’re in a defining moment of an incredible journey. Come and build with us.
🎯 Your main goal will be to shape and evolve the core platform architecture that powers n8n — creating scalable, configurable foundations across execution, infrastructure, and frontend platform so 80+ product engineers and our open-source community can build confidently across cloud and self-hosted deployments.
Working across our platform teams, you’ll bring architectural coherence to the systems they jointly own and help us make the right long-term technical decisions as n8n scales:
ARCHITECTURAL DIRECTION ACROSS CORE PLATFORM
- Drive architecture across the two Core Platform teams, ensuring execution, infrastructure, data, and frontend platform systems evolve as a coherent whole rather than independent components.
- Design highly adaptable backend foundations that support different workloads, deployment models, shared product team needs, and future scale without creating unnecessary complexity.
- Partner with the FE platform workstream on core canvas architecture, real-time communication, performance, plugin contracts, and other platform primitives used by product teams.
EXECUTION, DISTRIBUTED SYSTEMS & DATA FOUNDATIONS
- Evolve core subsystems including durable workflow execution and state, orchestration, queue and task distribution, worker management, scheduling, and horizontal scaling.
- Design for correctness and resilience across distributed environments, including failure modes, idempotency, state transitions, tenant isolation, and reliability guarantees.
- Shape our data and persistence architecture, including database scaling, sharding, migration strategies, deployment abstractions, and long-term operational maintainability.
PLATFORM ARCHITECTURE & ENGINEERING ENABLEMENT
- Lead consequential technical decisions through clear proposals and RFCs, making trade-offs explicit and aligning engineers and stakeholders around durable solutions.
- Define stable platform interfaces and abstractions that reduce coupling, support safe migrations, and make the platform easier for feature teams to build on.
- Mentor engineers across all engineering teams through design reviews, pairing, and technical guidance, raising the bar for architecture, system design, and maintainability.
REQUIREMENTS
MUST-HAVES
- 🏗️ Staff-level architectural ownership: You have a track record of leading architecture across multiple systems or teams, including migrations, re-architectures, or foundational platform initiatives with long-term organizational impact.
- 🧠 Systems thinking: You reason deeply about invariants, correctness, failure modes, boundaries, and trade-offs, and you’re comfortable making decisions where there is no obviously perfect solution.
- ⚙️ Configurable systems at scale: You’ve designed highly configurable, adaptable systems that serve multiple use cases or operating modes without becoming brittle or excessively complex.
- 🌐 Distributed systems depth: You’ve designed and operated distributed systems involving concepts such as asynchronous processing, idempotency, state machines, queues, consistency, and resilience.
- 🗄️ Data architecture at scale: You’ve worked on data-intensive systems where persistence, performance, isolation, migrations, and operational reliability were meaningful architectural concerns.
- 🛠️ TypeScript & Node.js depth: You have strong TypeScript experience and have built substantial backend systems with Node.js beyond conventional CRUD applications.
- 🤝 Cross-team technical leadership: You influence through technical judgment, clear communication, RFCs, design reviews, and mentorship, helping multiple teams converge on better solutions without relying on formal authority.
- 🧱 Platform enablement mindset: You care about creating clear contracts, abstractions, and developer experiences that allow other engineers to move faster and more safely.
- 🧹 Long-horizon engineering: You’re energized by modularization, migrations, refactoring, and evolving existing systems while keeping the product and engineering organization moving.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- 🧰 Workflow, orchestration or devtools experience: You’ve worked on workflow engines, orchestration platforms, developer tools, or infrastructure-heavy SaaS products.
- 🖥️ Frontend platform architecture: You’ve worked with architecture-heavy frontend systems such as canvas applications, plugin systems, real-time applications, web workers, or complex rendering environments.
- 🧾 Durable execution patterns: You’ve designed or operated systems using event sourcing, sagas, durable execution, or related state-management patterns.
- 👥 Multi-tenant architecture: You’ve designed systems where tenant isolation, resource management, data boundaries, or noisy-neighbour concerns were important.
- 🌍 Open-source experience: You’ve contributed to or maintained open-source software and understand the additional pressure around public contracts and backward compatibility.
- 📈 Large-scale SaaS exposure: You’ve operated systems at meaningful scale or worked in environments where reliability and architectural decisions had broad customer impact.
- 🧩 Monolith → modular migrations: You’ve decomposed monolithic systems or led incremental architectural migrations without preventing product teams from continuing to ship.
- ☁️ Multi-deployment awareness: You’ve designed products that need to work consistently across both managed cloud and self-hosted environments.
- 🔭 Observability mindset: You think about instrumentation, debugging, incident response, rollout safety, and operability as part of system design rather than an afterthought.
- 🧪 Strong CS grounding: You bring deep knowledge of distributed systems concepts, consistency models, consensus, formal methods, or similarly rigorous approaches to system correctness.
Why join us?
At n8n, you’ll work on the foundations that almost every product experience depends on. You’ll have influence across two Core Platform teams, helping shape how our execution engine, infrastructure, data architecture, and frontend platform evolve together as both our product and engineering organization scale.
This is a Staff role with real architectural leverage: you’ll tackle problems that span team boundaries, evolve systems that already operate at meaningful scale, and create platform capabilities that make 80+ engineers more effective. You’ll do that in a remote-first environment that values autonomy, thoughtful experimentation, and engineers who influence through strong technical judgment rather than hierarchy.
Sound like the kind of platform challenge you want to own?
Apply now — and help us build the future of automation.
n8n is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.

Reporting to the Director of Global Vulnerability Management, you will serve as a Senior Security Research Engineer and technical lead within SIE’s Global Vulnerability Management team. You will lead complex work that advances our Threat Exposure Management capability and supports our transition to a Continuous Threat Exposure Management operating model, while remaining directly engaged in vulnerability research, analysis, security validation, prioritization, and remediation support.
You will partner across Information Security, engineering, technology, and business teams to improve how SIE discovers, prioritizes, validates, and mobilizes action on security risks. You will translate annual TEM goals into defined workstreams, delivery plans, success measures, and repeatable operating practices that improve visibility, decision-making, remediation outcomes, and program scale.
Responsibilities
Lead complex Global Vulnerability Management workstreams that advance SIE’s Threat Exposure Management capability and transition toward a Continuous Threat Exposure Management operating model across discovery, prioritization, validation, and mobilization.
Translate annual TEM goals into defined delivery plans, milestones, success measures, dependencies, and repeatable operating practices. Monitor progress, identify barriers, and adjust execution to improve outcomes.
Lead hands-on vulnerability research and technical analysis to confirm security conditions, eliminate false positives, characterize exploitability and business impact, and provide actionable remediation or mitigation guidance.
Improve the discovery and assessment of vulnerabilities across SIE network, cloud, endpoint, application, container, and other technology environments.
Develop risk-based prioritization using vulnerability and threat intelligence, exploitation evidence, asset and business context, control effectiveness, and remediation considerations.
Lead security validation activities and develop proofs of concept when appropriate to distinguish material risk, evaluate defensive controls, and support informed decisions.
Partner with Information Security teams and technology owners to mobilize remediation, clarify ownership, establish effective handoffs, resolve barriers, and measure progress through remediation, mitigation, or accepted disposition.
Evolve GVM platforms, integrations, data, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled workflows to improve coverage, data quality, consistency, decision speed, and operational scale.
Communicate vulnerability trends, material risks, remediation progress, and program outcomes to technical, operational, and leadership audiences through clear reports and recommendations.
Mentor engineers and partner teams, contribute to technical standards and procedures, and improve the quality of vulnerability analysis, validation, documentation, and delivery.
Maintain current knowledge of relevant vulnerabilities, exploitation techniques, threat activity, security technologies, and industry practices.
Some travel may be required.
Qualifications
8+ years of relevant experience in information security, information technology, systems engineering, or a related field, including substantial experience in vulnerability management, security research, or exposure management.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, information security, or a related discipline.
Experience leading complex technical workstreams across multiple teams, translating objectives into delivery plans, and achieving measurable outcomes without relying on direct reporting authority.
Hands-on experience with vulnerability research, technical analysis, security validation, risk-based prioritization, and remediation or mitigation guidance.
Experience assessing vulnerabilities across several technology domains, such as operating systems, networks, cloud services, applications, endpoints, containers, databases, or hybrid infrastructure.
Experience with vulnerability discovery, assessment, validation, or exposure-management platforms and their supporting integrations.
Knowledge of adversarial tactics, exploitation techniques, threat intelligence, and attack frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, with the ability to apply that information to vulnerability prioritization.
Experience using scripting, programming, APIs, or automation to improve security analysis and operational workflows. Relevant technologies may include Python, SQL, Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript, or comparable languages.
Experience analyzing and contextualizing security data to connect technical findings with asset, service, business, threat, control, and remediation information.
Familiarity with software engineering practices such as version control, testing, code review, CI/CD, reusable components, and controlled production releases.
Ability to communicate complex security conditions, priorities, tradeoffs, and recommendations clearly to technical, operational, and leadership audiences.
Experience mentoring engineers or analysts and influencing technical practices across teams.
Desired qualifications
Experience helping evolve a traditional vulnerability-management function toward a TEM or CTEM operating model.
Experience with continuous security validation, adversarial exposure validation, exploit research, or proof-of-concept development.
Experience securing cloud, container, application, or build-pipeline environments and integrating security capabilities into engineering workflows.
