ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for forward-thinking, high-performing AI Engineers who are excited to pioneer the future of AI-driven engineering at Paysend. In this role, you will work hands-on with Claude Code and the Anthropic API to design, harden, and ship agentic systems that write, review, test, and deploy code. This is a high-impact, build-and-own opportunity: you will take cutting-edge AI prototypes and turn them into resilient production infrastructure - directly empowering our global engineering teams, accelerating our product velocity, and helping us solidify Paysend as the definitive end-to-end payment infrastructure for the modern world.
THE ENGINEERING PROBLEM
The problem is not to make an LLM generate code. The problem is to make AI-assisted and agentic software delivery reliable enough to become part of normal engineering work.
These systems operate inside real software delivery workflows. They need to deal with incomplete context, failed execution, incorrect assumptions, external dependencies, changing repository state, and cases where an agent should not continue on its own. This means designing clear execution boundaries, decision points, observability, recovery and escalation paths, not only the agent behaviour itself.
The role includes shaping how these systems work, not only implementing integrations with existing AI tools.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Design end-to-end AI-assisted delivery workflows, including agent responsibilities, execution boundaries, decision points, human intervention, failure handling, recovery, and escalation
Design and refine AI-driven pipelines that automate coding, code review, testing, and deployment tasks
Build and optimise agentic workflows using Claude Code and the Anthropic API, including custom tooling, MCP server integrations, sub-agents, and stateful orchestration logic
Engineer robust prompts, benchmark suites, and automated eval datasets; measure and improve pipeline accuracy, latency, and API costs
Define workflow-specific success criteria and operational evidence, including correctness, reliability, intervention and escalation rates, failure modes, and recovery effectiveness
Integrate core Anthropic capabilities (tool use, structured outputs, prompt caching, batch processing) into internal developer platforms
Handle unglamorous production work: sandboxed execution, strict error handling, retries, observability, guardrails, and edge cases
Own these systems after initial implementation: observe how they behave in real engineering workflows, investigate failures and incorrect behaviour, and improve the system based on operational evidence
Partner with engineers across the org to identify automation opportunities and roll out agentic tools safely with human-in-the-loop review mechanisms
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Strong software engineering background, with experience designing, building, and operating production systems, and strong hands-on experience with Python or TypeScript
Ability to decompose end-to-end engineering workflows, identify decision boundaries, failure modes, dependencies, observability needs, and recovery paths
Direct, hands-on experience with Claude Code—you've used it beyond casual experimentation and understand its strengths, limits, and configuration (CLAUDE.md, sub-agents, hooks)
Experience building with LLM APIs: prompt engineering, tool/function calling, structured outputs, context window optimization, agentic loops, and evaluation
Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) server integration and custom workflows
Comfort turning prototypes into production systems: CI/CD integration, containerized execution, reliability engineering, and monitoring
Pragmatic judgment about where AI automation helps and where traditional deterministic logic or human oversight is required
NICE TO HAVE
Experience with agent orchestration frameworks or building custom agent harnesses/tooling
Track record shipping internal developer platforms or CLI tooling
Contributions to open-source AI frameworks, developer tools, or MCP servers

Expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker, including image creation, registry management, and basic orchestration patterns.
Experience managing package lifecycles for JavaScript and TypeScript, including versioning, compilation, semantic tagging, and publishing workflows to NPM.
In-depth knowledge of C++ build systems, specifically CMake, with proven experience optimizing native build and deployment pipelines.
Advanced Linux system administration and networking skills, including shell scripting, package management, performance troubleshooting, firewalls, and VPN configuration.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in globally distributed teams.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, AWS CDK or AWS CloudFormation.
Experience with mobile CI/CD automation, including build, tagging, and publication for iOS and Android applications

Salmon is a technology-driven financial company building a banking and lending platform across Southeast Asia, starting in the Philippines.
We combine global fintech expertise with deep local market knowledge to make financial services simple, accessible, and useful for millions of people across the region.
7M+ app downloads. 2M+ monthly active users. 7,000+ partner stores. US$310M+ raised from leading global investors.
Manila-based, globally distributed, and hybrid-first — our team spans 45+ countries.
If you want to solve complex problems at scale and impact how millions of people access and manage money, come build with us.
Southeast Asia's fintech moment starts here.
About the role:
You'll own the NPV and unit economics model behind Salmon's credit card business — the core logic behind how we price, size, and monitor profitability across the portfolio.
What you'll do:
- Work directly with the Head of Economics to turn model logic into production-ready Python/SQL code
- Build and maintain the datasets that feed the model — cohorts, cashflows, losses, funding, fees, revenue — with help from other analysts
- Automate scenario and sensitivity runs so pricing, limit, and product decisions are backed by real numbers
What you'll own:
- Own the end-to-end NPV / unit economics model for credit cards — clean, testable, versioned logic
- Validate model outputs against actual portfolio performance and investigate gaps when they don't match
- Translate model logic into clear, implementation-ready specs when other teams need to build on it
- Step outside your immediate scope when the work calls for it — we value ownership over rigid roles
What makes you a strong fit:
- 2–3+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics
- Strong Python (pandas) and SQL — for data exploration and for implementing analytics logic in production
- Solid understanding of unit economics / financial modeling — cashflows, NPV, cohorts — through direct modeling experience or hands-on work with such models
- High attention to detail — small errors break economics in production
What we offer:
Ownership and flexibility
- Stock option plan — four-year vesting with a 25% cliff after the first year
- Hybrid-first work environment
- Company-provided tools and equipment
- Office in Bonifacio Global City, Manila — a modern, walkable district at the centre of the Philippines' growing tech scene
Health and time off
- Medical insurance support for you and your family through co-funding or reimbursement, depending on your location and subject to policy limits
- Access to an internal mental health support specialist
- 22 vacation days, Philippine public holidays, and 15 sick days
- 105 days of paid maternity leave and up to 14 days of paid paternity leave for employees relocating to Manila
Relocation and family support
- Relocation support for you and your family — including flights, two weeks of accommodation, visas, paperwork, and logistics
- Reimbursement of eligible pet relocation expenses
- USD 2,500 per year for flights home
- Baby and family stipends for employees relocating to Manila: USD 1,000/month per child under two, USD 500/month per child aged two to 18
Growth and team experience
- Opportunities to learn and share your expertise through internal expert meetups, external conferences, speaking opportunities, and industry publications
- Company-sponsored trips to Manila to meet and work with your team in person
- Regular team offsites, sports activities, and team events
- High-performing teams can earn a dedicated beach house week in Southeast Asia
We believe strong teams are built by people with different backgrounds, experiences, and points of view. Salmon is an equal opportunity employer, and we make hiring decisions based on skills, experience, and potential.

ABOUT PEEC AI
Peec AI is the analytics platform for AI search. People increasingly discover products and make buying decisions through ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Google's AI Overviews instead of traditional search, and most brands have no idea where they show up in those answers. Peec gives marketing, SEO, and growth teams the data to see exactly that: how visible their brand is across AI platforms, how they compare to competitors, and where to win.
We are defining this category, and the market is moving with us. Peec is a Series A company backed by 20VC and Singular, that went from $0 to $15M ARR in 18 months, with a 100+ person team across our Berlin HQ and our New York office.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Peec AI is building the data plane for AI visibility: millions of chats, scrapes, citations, sources, model responses, and customer-facing insights running through a fast-moving backend.
This role is for an engineer who wants to own the systems behind that. You will not just add endpoints or close tickets. You will make our scraping, chat-processing, source-ingestion, and analytics infrastructure more reliable, cheaper, faster, and easier for the rest of the team to reason about.
The best fit looks like someone who can debug a provider outage in the morning, design a better queueing model before lunch, ship a TypeScript service change in the afternoon, and write the postmortem or follow-up ticket clearly enough that the next engineer immediately knows what to do.
We are especially interested in people who have built or operated systems with real constraints: rate limits, flaky third-party APIs, queues, webhooks, retries, distributed locks, data migrations, observability gaps, customer pressure, and cost ceilings.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years of backend, platform, infrastructure, or distributed systems engineering experience in a production environment.
- Deep hands-on TypeScript experience. We run TypeScript services on Bun, and we care about people who can design clean, reliable backend systems rather than only write application code.
- Strong understanding of queues, workers, retries, rate limits, idempotency, distributed locks, webhooks, and failure handling.
- Experience operating systems under real production pressure: incidents, provider outages, customer escalations, noisy alerts, slow dependencies, and incomplete data.
- Comfort with cloud-native infrastructure. Our stack includes GCP, Kubernetes, Cloud Tasks, Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ, Redis, Postgres, Firestore, ClickHouse, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Ability to debug across layers: application code, logs, metrics, queues, provider APIs, databases, network behaviour, and deployment state.
- Product-minded judgement. You can separate internal detail from customer-safe explanation, and you understand when a “small infra change” has customer, security, or cost implications.
- High ownership and low ego. We want people who take responsibility for ambiguous systems, ask sharp questions, and make the team better through clear thinking and kindness.
- A bias toward durable fixes. You do not stop at “restart the pod” if the real issue is retry amplification, missing backpressure, an unsafe parser assumption, or a provider limit we do not model.
TECH STACK
- Languages: TypeScript, Python
- Runtime/frameworks: Bun, Elysia, Node-compatible services
- Cloud/infrastructure: GCP, Kubernetes, Cloud Tasks, Pub/Sub, Firebase/Firestore, Postgres, ClickHouse, Redis, RabbitMQ
- Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, structured logging
- Product/data domain: LLM chats, AI search, source scraping, citation extraction, provider integrations, customer-facing analytics
- AI/model providers: OpenAI, Anthropic/Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Mode / AI Overview, plus scraping/provider APIs around them
WHAT WE OFFER
- Exciting and challenging work with real impact and ownership at one of Europe’s fastest-growing Series A startups
- Regular team events and off-sites
- Aggressive equity compensation package
- Paid Dinner & Uber home when working late
- The most beautiful office space and work environment in Berlin
Location: European Union
Workplace: Remote

ROLE HIGHLIGHTS:
- ISR Cell Operator - Germany
- Location: Berlin, Germany
- Department: ICEYE Germany
- Reports to: Head of Intelligence, ICEYE Germany
- Employment type: Permanent
- Workplace model: On-site / shift-based
- Employment is subject to applicable security screening (incl. SUPO, and German Ü2/Ü3 where required)
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS:
Be the operational backbone that keeps ICEYE Germany's intelligence delivery running — from the moment a tasking request comes in to the moment actionable insight reaches the customer.
You are the person who ensures satellite collection is coordinated, data is monitored, and customers receive timely, accurate intelligence products. You will work across mission planning, data interpretation, and direct customer engagement — keeping ICEYE Germany's operational tempo high and its output trustworthy. You will also serve as a key interface to Germany-based government and defence customers, translating their operational requirements into executable satellite collection plans.
This is an operational role with real stakes. The intelligence you coordinate and deliver informs decisions in national security, disaster response, and critical infrastructure protection.
WHO WE ARE
ICEYE is the world leader in sovereign intelligence from space. We deliver persistent monitoring capabilities to detect and respond to changes in any location on Earth.
ICEYE owns the world's largest and most advanced SAR (synthetic aperture radar) satellite constellation. To our customers we provide intelligence with unmatched quality, latency and revisit times, in any weather, day or night. To governments who choose to operate their own constellation we provide this proven capability as a sovereign system.
ICEYE-built constellations serve customers in defence and intelligence, environmental monitoring, insurance and emergency management. We enable fast decisions that contribute to a safer future.
Founded and headquartered in Finland, ICEYE operates globally with over 1000 employees across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
Run the operations cell. Manage and prioritize satellite tasking requests for Germany and surrounding regions. Coordinate with internal mission planning teams to optimize collection schedules and ensure timely execution of customer requirements.
Own real-time monitoring. Track satellite passes, collection status, and delivery timelines across active missions. Respond to time-sensitive or high-priority tasking requests with speed and precision.
Interpret and report. Review SAR imagery and derived products to identify relevant changes or events. Generate concise, actionable intelligence reports for customers and support rapid dissemination during critical situations — natural disasters, security incidents, and time-critical government requirements.
Engage customers and stakeholders. Act as the primary operational point of contact for Germany-based customers, including government and defence agencies. Translate their mission requirements into executable tasking plans and keep them informed on collection status and product delivery.
Maintain the operational picture. Keep situational awareness of regional events — across Germany and the wider DACH region — that affect ISR priorities and collection planning.
Strengthen the function. Contribute to process improvements, operational best practices, and the onboarding and training of new team members as the cell grows.
What We Measure After Twelve Months
- Germany-focused tasking requests are executed on time and to customer specification, with no critical gaps in coverage.
- Customer satisfaction among German government and defence accounts is high, with repeat engagement on priority programmes.
- Operational processes are documented, repeatable, and resilient to staff changes or surge demand.
- The ISR cell is capable of supporting classified collection workflows at the classification levels enabled by ICEYE Germany's security posture.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Must haves:
- Experience in ISR operations, geospatial analysis, satellite operations, or a directly comparable operational environment — ideally within the Bundeswehr, a German federal security agency (BND, BfV, Federal Police), or a defence industry context.
- Familiarity with SAR imagery and remote sensing data, and the ability to interpret complex datasets under time pressure.
- Knowledge of GIS tools such as QGIS or ArcGIS, or comparable imagery analysis platforms.
- Background with government, defence, or security customers in Germany or the DACH region, and an understanding of how these organisations task, consume, and act on intelligence products.
- Experience in a 24/7 operations or command centre environment is a strong advantage.
- Engineering or software background that supports understanding of data pipelines, collection systems, or geospatial platforms.
- Eligibility for German security clearance (Sicherheitsüberprüfung Ü2/Ü3) is required. Existing clearance is a significant advantage.
- Fluent English, with the ability to communicate clearly at both working and customer level. German is beneficial but not a hard criteria.
- Valid European drivers license B
Application Process
- Intro conversation with Talent Attraction
- Hiring manager interview with Head of Intelligence, ICEYE Germany
- Technical case: a take-home operational planning exercise
- Cross-functional interviews with Operations Lead ISR, Intelligence Products, and a senior ICEYE leader
- Final conversation with the CEO, ICEYE Germany
