About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the Role
As Data Operations Manager, you'll build and scale data operations across research teams working on frontier AI capabilities. You'll partner with researchers to design and execute data strategies, manage vendor relationships, and own the entire data pipeline from requirements to production. This role requires operational excellence combined with technical depth to understand what makes high-quality training data, but your focus will be on strategy and execution.
About the Impact
The data operations you build will directly determine how well our models perform on critical capabilities—tool use accuracy, prompt injection robustness, long-horizon reasoning, and safety alignment. You'll work with world-class researchers advancing the frontier while building the operational infrastructure to scale these efforts.
We're looking for someone who gets excited about the challenge of scaling quality across diverse research areas—someone who can understand nuanced technical requirements, build the right partnerships, and execute flawlessly. If you thrive at the intersection of operational excellence and cutting-edge AI research, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Own and execute data strategy for research teams advancing frontier AI capabilities across RLHF, safety, tool use, and agentic workflows
Drive strategic vendor partnerships and build scalable frameworks for technical data collection at scale
Design and implement operational systems that translate research requirements into high-quality data pipelines
Build evaluation frameworks and quality standards that ensure data meets the bar for training state-of-the-art AI systems
Lead cross-functional initiatives to optimize research velocity while maintaining rigorous quality standards
Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness across data operations
Partner with senior research leaders to align data operations with model development roadmaps and strategic priorities
You may be a good fit if you:
Have 3+ years in operations, consulting, product management, or program management roles
Have exceptional project management skills with ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously
Have strong communication skills and can engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Are familiar with how LLMs work or have strong interest in understanding AI training methodologies
Are highly organized and can navigate ambiguity effectively
Have experience with data analysis tools (SQL, Python, Tableau, spreadsheets, or similar)
Thrive in fast-paced research environments with shifting priorities
Are passionate about AI safety and understand the critical importance of high-quality data
Strong candidates may also have:
Experience with data collection, labeling, or annotation operations for AI/ML systems
Knowledge of RLHF, constitutional AI, or human-in-the-loop workflows
Background working with research teams at AI companies or research-oriented organizations
Experience managing vendor relationships or external contractors
Consulting background with experience translating complex requirements into deliverables
Track record of implementing process improvements or quality control systems at scale
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$270,000
—
$365,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Data Platform team owns the end-to-end data lifecycle at Perplexity, from ingestion through processing, storage, and serving, powering product features, analytics, experimentation, AI workloads, and the company’s data lake.
The team defines the architecture for batch and streaming systems, the orchestration and observability stack, and a self-serve data platform, while thoughtfully combining platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake with open-source technologies including Spark, Kafka, Flink, Airflow, Dagster, dbt, Iceberg, Delta Lake, and ClickHouse.
In this senior/staff role, you will shape architecture, set standards, and drive the long-term technical direction of Perplexity’s data ecosystem.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and operate large-scale batch and streaming data pipelines that directly power Perplexity product features, AI training and evaluation workflows, analytics, and experimentation.
- Build event-driven and streaming systems (Kafka, Kinesis, PubSub, or similar) for real-time ingestion, transformation, and delivery, alongside batch frameworks for backfills, aggregations, and offline computation.
- Lead the architecture of data orchestration using tools like Airflow or Dagster, owning scheduling, dependency management, retries, SLAs, and end-to-end observability for critical data flows.
- Set and enforce guarantees for data correctness, freshness, lineage, and recoverability, designing systems that handle rapid scale growth, partial failures, and evolving schemas without disrupting AI workloads or product experiences.
- Build self-serve data platforms that let engineers, data scientists, and analysts safely discover data, define contracts, and create and operate their own pipelines with minimal friction.
- Improve developer experience through better abstractions, opinionated paved paths, and standards for data modeling, testing, validation, and deployment, treating the data platform as a product used by many teams.
- Drive architectural decisions across storage, compute, orchestration, and data APIs, partnering closely with product engineering and data science to align the data ecosystem with Perplexity’s roadmap.
- Mentor engineers, review designs, and raise the technical bar for data infrastructure through thoughtful feedback, documentation, and hands-on collaboration.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years (Senior) or 8+ years (Staff) of software engineering experience.
- Strong experience building production data infrastructure systems.
- Hands-on experience with batch and/or streaming data processing at scale.
- Deep familiarity with data orchestration systems (Airflow, Dagster, or similar).
- Proficiency in Python and at least one additional backend language (Go, TypeScript, etc.).
- Strong systems thinking around reliability, latency, cost, and complexity tradeoffs.
- Experience supporting ML/AI workflows, training pipelines, or evaluation systems.
- Familiarity with data quality, lineage, observability, and governance tooling.
- Prior ownership of internal platforms used by many teams.
If you’re excited about this role, we encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn’t match every qualification listed above.
Location: San Francisco; Palo Alto; London; Berlin; Belgrade; New York City
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Cloud Infrastructure team owns the foundational cloud primitives and deployment models that power Perplexity's products, from multi-tenant public cloud to single-tenant and on-premises solutions for enterprise customers.
As Perplexity grows its Computer and Enterprise products, this team builds and operates the security, isolation, and compliance layers that customers depend on. We provide the deployment topologies, multi‑region infrastructure, and core services that enable Perplexity to run reliably and efficiently for both consumer traffic and large enterprises.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the roadmap and technical strategy for agent-driven cloud infrastructure management.
- Design and operate Perplexity’s cloud networking fabric, including VPC architectures, private connectivity, and peering with hyperscalers and neocloud providers to support low-latency, high-throughput AI workloads.
- Architect and scale compute platforms (Kubernetes/EKS, autoscaling groups, and mixed CPU/GPU fleets) to efficiently serve online request traffic and background workloads across regions.
- Build and maintain secure, isolated deployment topologies for multi-tenant, single-tenant, and customer‑owned cloud (BYOC) environments, including cross-account networking, identity, and policy guardrails.
- Implement and evolve multi-region strategies for availability, failover, and data locality, including traffic routing, regional capacity planning, and disaster recovery playbooks.
- Partner with security to deliver enterprise controls such as BYOK/KMS integrations, network isolation, and auditability required for regulated customers.
- Develop automation, tooling, and runbooks that make day‑2 operations (provisioning, upgrades, incident response) predictable and repeatable for Perplexity products across all environments.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Deep experience designing and operating cloud infrastructure on AWS (VPC design, routing, security groups, load balancing, private connectivity).
- Strong background with Kubernetes/EKS and container orchestration, including multi‑cluster, multi‑region, or multi‑account setups.
- Hands-on experience with cloud networking and peering (VPC peering, Transit Gateway, private link/service endpoints, or similar constructs in neoclouds).
- Experience building or operating secure, isolated environments for enterprise customers (single‑tenant, BYOC, or on‑prem), ideally including BYOK/KMS integrations and compliance constraints.
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and strong software engineering skills in at least one of Python, Go, or Rust for automation and tooling.
- Strong debugging and incident management skills across distributed systems (networking, compute, and platform layers), with a track record of driving root‑cause analysis and long‑term fixes.
- 7+ years of industry experience building and operating production cloud infrastructure, including leading the design of complex systems or migrations.
If you’re excited about this role, we encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn’t match every qualification listed above.

About Vercel:
Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide.
About the role
We're looking for a leader to build and run Vercel's Product Strategy & Operations function from the ground up. This is a senior, cross-functional role that sits at the heart of the EPD organization and works in close partnership with the CPO, EPD Leads, GTM leadership, and Finance.
You will own three things above all else: the rigor that makes our high-velocity shipping machine sustainable, the measurement infrastructure that tells us whether our products are succeeding after they launch, and the planning systems that keep our roadmap and revenue plan sharp, funded, and aligned across the company.
This is a strategic leadership position for someone who thinks deeply about product markets and business models, builds world-class operating systems, and uses data to drive decisions that matter.
If you’re based within a pre-determined commuting distance of one of our offices (SF, NY, London, or Berlin), the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. If you're located beyond that distance, the role is fully remote. For location-specific details, please connect with our recruiting team.
What you'll do
Own the EPD rhythm of business: weekly operating reviews, monthly business reviews, planning cycles, and roadmap processes — building minimum viable process for each.
Run the ShipOps function to enable Launch Calendar reviews and Vercel’s high velocity “You Can Just Ship Things” approach.
Establish a "product landing" framework — a structured post-launch process that goes beyond the ship date to ensure new features and products are actually adopted, drive the intended business outcomes, and generate learnings that feed the next iteration.
Partner closely with Sales and Marketing teams to set targets, make plans and execute tactics that drive deal pipeline creation, and user launches and ramps.
Develop and maintain competitive intelligence systems that give product leaders a continuously updated view of the market landscape.
Partner with Data Engineering and Data Science to ensure the analytical infrastructure (data pipelines, warehouse models, tooling) supports the speed of analysis our business requires.
Partner with EPD leads to maintain team health, capacity visibility, and resource allocation so that the right bets are properly staffed and execution risk is surfaced early.
What you need
8+ years in product operations, business operations, strategy, or a closely adjacent function inside a high-growth technology company.
Ability to understand complex, technical products and articulate their value to non-technical audiences.
Deep familiarity with the full software development lifecycle — you understand how EPD teams plan, build, and ship, and have experience improving those processes.
Passion for structuring and solving highly ambiguous strategic problems and owning end-to-end execution of solutions.
Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects with multiple functional stakeholders.
Past experience working at the intersection of product and go-to-market teams in a software company.
Strong oral and written communication skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with multiple, cross-functional stakeholders, including users.
Bonus if you
Background in developer tooling, cloud infrastructure, or platform products — you understand the Vercel customer and can speak credibly about the space.
Frequently build your own agents to support workflows and data analyses
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive compensation package, including equity.
Inclusive Healthcare Package.
Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
Flexible Time Off.
We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.
The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $232,000 - $348,000. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Mysten Labs’ mission is to advance the internet through step-function improvements in what technology makes possible. We build foundational infrastructure and products that give people, businesses, and developers new ways to interact, transact, and create value.
Our work spans on-chain finance and the emerging agent economy. Through Sui, Move, and our broader technology stack, we’re building the systems that make these experiences possible - from secure, scalable blockchain infrastructure to new ways for businesses and AI agents to interact.
THE ROLE
We’re hiring a Senior Dealmaker to shape and lead AI partnerships for Walrus, Mysten Labs’ decentralized storage network, across the ecosystem.
As AI agents take on more complex work, they need infrastructure that helps them retain context, handle sensitive information, and maintain a trustworthy record of their actions. With Walrus as the foundation for decentralized storage and persistent memory, we’re building toward that future with a broader stack that includes confidential compute—supporting product reliability and compliance as agents operate in the real world.
Your job is to determine where Walrus and these complementary capabilities can create the greatest value, build relationships with the right partners, and structure agreements that lead to meaningful integrations and adoption. You’ll focus on foundation model companies, AI platforms, data platforms, and adjacent infrastructure providers.
Working closely with the Head of Partnerships and Walrus product and engineering leadership, you’ll help set partnership priorities and independently lead complex opportunities from initial thesis through implementation. This is a senior individual contributor role with substantial ownership, requiring strategic judgment, commercial creativity, and hands-on execution.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Shape our AI partnership strategy. Develop a clear perspective on where Walrus can become essential infrastructure for AI applications and agents. Identify the partners, use cases, and market developments that should guide our investment of time and resources.
- Originate consequential partnerships. Build relationships with founders, executives, and technical decision-makers at foundation model companies, AI platforms, agent frameworks, data platforms, and adjacent infrastructure providers. Create opportunities before there is an established partnership motion.
- Define the opportunity alongside the partner. Understand how partners build, what their customers need, and where our technology can solve a meaningful problem. Work with product and engineering leadership to shape joint offerings, integration proposals, and commercial models.
- Structure and close complex deals. Lead negotiations involving technical integrations, joint product development, distribution, and commercial agreements. Navigate competing priorities and create structures that give both organizations a compelling reason to commit.
- Deliver integrations and adoption. Own relationships beyond signing. Align teams on scope, resources, and milestones; resolve obstacles; and keep partnerships moving toward implementation, launch, and sustained usage.
- Influence across the organization. Bring partner and market insights into product, engineering, marketing, and leadership discussions. Make clear recommendations, surface tradeoffs, and build alignment around opportunities that require investment across teams.
- Establish a repeatable approach. Turn early wins into sharper partner selection criteria, stronger deal structures, and more effective execution. Raise the quality of partnership work through sound judgment, shared learning, and mentorship.
WHAT YOU’LL HAVE
- Substantial experience in strategic partnerships or business development, typically 10–15+ years, with demonstrated ownership of strategically significant relationships in AI, data infrastructure, or developer platforms.
- Deep engagement in the AI ecosystem, including strong relationships with founders, executives, and product and technical leaders at relevant companies.
- A proven record of independently originating, structuring, negotiating, and closing complex partnerships that produced meaningful integrations, joint offerings, distribution, or adoption.
- The judgment to identify which opportunities deserve investment, articulate a compelling partnership thesis, and walk away when the strategic or commercial fit is weak.
- Strong product instincts and technical fluency. You can engage engineers on architectures and agentic workflows, uncover a partner’s underlying needs, and connect technical capabilities to business value.
- Credibility in the startup community and firsthand experience building with limited structure, resources, or established processes. You can point to opportunities you personally created and brought to market.
- The ability to think at enterprise scale while executing with startup urgency. You’re comfortable navigating executive stakeholders and handling the details needed to get an integration live.
- A track record of influencing senior stakeholders and aligning product, engineering, legal, and commercial teams without relying on formal authority.
- Creative commercial judgment, a bias for action, and accountability for outcomes through implementation and adoption.
- Curiosity about decentralized infrastructure and the ability to become fluent quickly. Prior Web3 experience is welcome; substantial AI ecosystem experience is essential.
- High ethical standards, direct communication, and comfort adapting as the product and market evolve.
- Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time, including internationally.
Location: San Francisco Bay Area preferred. We may consider exceptional candidates elsewhere who are deeply embedded in the AI ecosystem.
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, which may include verification of employment history, education credentials, criminal history, and other relevant information.

ABOUT CLIPBOARD
Our mission is to uplift as many communities as possible. We do this through our app-based marketplace that connects healthcare professionals with the workplaces that need amazing workers. This enables hundreds of thousands of people to achieve financial stability for themselves and their families while providing essential care to millions of people across the U.S.
Founded in 2016, we are a remote-first team of over 1,000 people building a top Y-Combinator company https://www.ycombinator.com/topcompanies/ and have been profitable since 2022. We’re the leader in Long-Term Care staffing and are rapidly expanding into Home Health, Hospitals, and more, meaning we have more work to do than people to do it, and are growing our team to support millions more people and their communities.
THE ROLE
Clipboard https://www.clipboardworks.com/ is a Sequoia-backed marketplace connecting nurses and healthcare professionals with long-term care facilities, facilitating over 3 million shifts per year. We're hiring Senior Product Managers to own core domains of the marketplace. Think pricing, matching, reliability, facility onboarding; all the systems the business runs on!
THE WORK
You'll be running a domain where the right answer changes as the marketplace changes, and where your mental model and prioritization are the single most valuable artifact your team has. You will:
- Build the mental model. Grounded in customer conversations, support tickets, Salesforce, and our own data.
- Pick the metrics. The ones that tell you and the org whether you're serving that customer well. When the right metric doesn't exist, you say so and propose the best proxy, limitations stated.
- Steward the improvements. Research, experiments, core flow changes, technical investments. An excellent PM here doesn’t just move metrics, they make prioritization calls that compound.
All of this gets written down and shared constantly. A one-page mental model your team can reference without you in the room. A monthly check-in. Enough visibility that engineers make autonomous decisions and leadership can push back at "is this the right bet" rather than "what's the bet." You'll work alongside an Applied Science https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/clipboard?departmentId=b0a8f86a-7e03-4cd1-a204-deafbabf7893 team that owns the quantitative infrastructure your domain depends on: pricing algorithms, causal models, experiment frameworks.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 6+ years of product management, with experience in marketplaces preferred
- You can query data yourself (SQL or equivalent)
- You've shipped meaningful features on a small, fast-moving team
- You write clearly and often
- Ability to work 2-3 days per week out of either our NYC or San Francisco office
WHO THRIVES HERE
- Extreme ownership: the buck stops with you regardless of what anyone else did or didn't do.
- Extreme curiosity: you ask "why" five times on the same problem before you're satisfied.
- You hold a clear point of view and update it visibly when the data disagrees.
- Background in marketplace product, ops research, or operating roles at fast-scaling startups is a strong signal.
INTERVIEW PROCESS:
1. Case Study via MeritFirst
2. Case Study Interview
3. Cross-functional Interview
4. CPO Interview
5. Offer!
