Perplexity AI is looking for a sharp, entrepreneurial litigation attorney to join our small legal team to help advance the business, protect the products we are building, and revolutionize the way people search and interact with the internet. This unique role offers significant responsibility, direct ownership of high stakes matters, and growth potential across an in-house practice group.
This is a unique role within a rapidly growing AI technology company. You will play a key role in safeguarding Perplexity’s interests by managing litigation files and pre-litigation disputes related to our AI answer engine, models, and technologies, while helping to build and scale our litigation function. You will oversee complex disputes in a fast-moving and often unsettled legal landscape, spanning intellectual property (including copyright), privacy, commercial, and regulatory matters, and you will work closely with our AI, engineering, and product teams to assess legal risk, develop litigation strategy, and provide guidance during disputes involving our products and services.
The ideal candidate combines deep substantive knowledge of litigation practice and procedure with strong business judgment and practical problem-solving abilities. You are comfortable confronting novel legal issues, including questions where the rules are still being written, and you bring intellectual curiosity about AI technology, adaptability in an emerging landscape, and exceptional collaboration skills. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of high-growth startup environments, where you will pair traditional legal expertise with sharp business risk assessment. We are seeking someone who is inquisitive, has an entrepreneurial drive, and the agility to thrive in our fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage litigation matters and pre-litigation disputes across all phases, including strategy, pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, hearings, trials, and appeals, while developing comprehensive case strategies that align with business objectives.
- Provide counsel across a broad range of disputes, including intellectual property (copyright, trademark, and trade secret), privacy, commercial, and regulatory matters, in both first-party and third-party contexts.
- Evaluate and respond to litigation threats, demands, and disputes across jurisdictions, developing appropriate matter-resolution proposals that resolve issues with minimal disruption to the business.
- Select, onboard, manage, and collaborate with outside counsel across all stages of disputes. Negotiate budgets and fee arrangements, monitor performance, and hold outside counsel accountable for delivering optimal results while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Partner closely with AI, product, and engineering teams to proactively identify litigation risks in product development and go-to-market strategies, and to collect information efficiently in support of active matters. Translate complex legal requirements into practical, actionable guidance for technical teams.
- Assist in responding to regulatory investigations and inquiries from government regulators and private organizations relating to our products and services.
- Build internal litigation processes, policies, and tools, including legal-hold and discovery workflows, that support litigation and regulatory matters efficiently and can scale with company growth.
- Monitor the evolving legal and regulatory landscape for AI, copyright, and privacy; translate court decisions, agency guidance, and legislative developments into timely, executive-ready advice; and communicate with business leaders about ongoing litigation, emerging risks, and preventive measures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- JD and in good standing with an active US state bar membership (California preferred)
- At least 15+ years of law firm and/or in-house experience handling complex commercial litigation (with experience representing emerging technology companies preferred)
- Deep substantive knowledge of litigation practice and procedure, with a demonstrated history of strong outcomes and effective case execution
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and collaboration skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to partner with business and technical teams
- An ability to communicate clearly and credibly with business and technical audiences, including translating genuinely unsettled legal doctrine into concise, business-relevant advice for executives and engineers without over-hedging
- Hands-on attitude to tackle projects large and small, and a low-ego, roll-up-your-sleeves approach to working across the organization
- Excellent composure in stressful situations, high level of integrity, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to work independently with limited guidance while exercising good judgment about when to escalate
- Thrive working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience managing copyright and privacy litigation, as well as commercial disputes, for AI or other emerging technology companies
- Experience managing regulatory responses or investigations, including both first-party and third-party responses
- Experience building or scaling a litigation function at a growth-stage company, with creativity and an openness to novel solutions

About WorkOS 🚀
WorkOS builds modern developer tools and APIs that make it easy for companies to become Enterprise Ready. Our platform powers authentication, identity, authorization, and other critical infrastructure that developers need to securely scale their products to large organizations.
We recently raised a $100M Series C, valuing the company at $2B, led by Meritech and Sapphire with participation from Greenoaks, Craft, Abstract, and Audacious. WorkOS powers enterprise features for many of the fastest-growing AI companies, including OpenAI, Cursor, and Perplexity, Sierra, and Plaid.
As AI reshapes software, WorkOS is at the frontier of Human and Agent Authentication, Identity, and Access Control helping companies answer a new critical question: who are your agents, and what are they allowed to do? Our fast-growing customer base includes hundreds of modern software companies building the next generation of enterprise-ready products.
About the role:
WorkOS is growing rapidly, and our largest customers are growing with us. We're looking for an Account Manager to own the expansion of our most complex accounts — deepening product adoption, uncovering new use cases, and turning strong technical relationships into meaningful revenue growth.
This is a commercial role with a technical center of gravity. You'll build trusted relationships with engineering and product leaders, understand their roadmaps well enough to see where WorkOS should show up next, and drive the renewals, upsells, and multi-product expansion that follow. You'll also be a critical feedback loop into product — the expansion opportunities you can't close today become the roadmap that unlocks them tomorrow.
Responsibilities
- Own a book of strategic accounts end to end: retention, renewal, and expansion targets
- Build and execute account growth plans — map the org, identify unadopted products and untapped teams, and drive a clear path to increased usage and spend
- Proactively surface expansion opportunities by understanding each customer's product roadmap, technical architecture, and growth plans
- Lead commercial conversations independently, from initial opportunity through pricing, negotiation, and close
- Drive adoption of the full WorkOS platform — SSO, Directory Sync, AuthKit, Audit Logs, and beyond — across new teams, new products, and new geographies
- Partner with Sales, Support, and Engineering to remove technical blockers standing between a customer and their next stage of growth
- Run executive business reviews that connect WorkOS usage to customer outcomes and set up the next expansion conversation
- Forecast accurately and maintain pipeline hygiene across your accounts
- Feed structured expansion signal back to Product — what customers are asking for, what's blocking adoption, and what would unlock the next tier of spend
- Help build the playbooks, content, and processes that make this motion repeatable as the team scales
Qualifications
- 5+ years in account management, customer success, or sales at an enterprise level, with a track record of growing existing accounts
- Demonstrated ownership of expansion, upsell, or net revenue retention targets
- Strong product sense and genuine energy for solving hard technical customer problems
- Ability to lead complex integration and architecture conversations in a consultative, proactive way
- Familiarity with APIs and the ability to explain API concepts to our largest and most technical customers
- Familiarity with SQL — comfortable writing basic queries and modifying more complex ones to find adoption and usage signal on your own
- Comfort navigating multi-threaded relationships, from individual developers to VPs and executive buyers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commercial instincts: you can spot an opportunity, build the business case, and ask for the deal
- Operations-savvy mindset — you remove process friction and build things that scale
- Strong organizational skills and a self-starting mindset

About the company
Trust Wallet is the secure, self-custody Web3 wallet that empowers people to own and control their digital assets. Whether you're new to crypto or an experienced user, Trust Wallet makes it easier, safer, and more convenient to explore Web3, securely access dApps, manage your crypto, and buy and sell digital assets, all in one place.
Role Summary
We're looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager who is equal parts strategist, executor, and Web3 native — someone who proudly calls themselves a degen and is deep in the trenches of the ecosystem they're marketing to. This is a high-impact, generalist role that sits at the intersection of brand, growth, product marketing, and community.
You crunch data for breakfast, thrive wearing multiple hats, and move fluidly between scrappy activations and long-horizon strategy without losing momentum or quality. You translate on-chain insights into compelling narratives that help millions understand and love Trust Wallet — and if you have strong opinions on L2 wars, a wallet full of on-chain history, and can ship a campaign brief and a Dune dashboard in the same afternoon, we want to talk
What You'll Do
- Develop and own integrated marketing strategies across acquisition, retention, and brand — aligned to product launches, ecosystem milestones, and market cycles
- Lead end-to-end campaign execution across Web3-native channels and performance channels
- Define positioning and messaging for new product features and market segments in partnership with Product and BD
- Set, track, and report on marketing KPIs — DAUs, installs, retention rates, campaign ROAS, community growth, and share of voice - all leading to company level OKRs
- Own budget allocation across channels with a relentless focus on efficiency and ROI
- Drive community engagement strategies across Discord, Telegram, and X — building loyal user cohorts, not just follower counts
- Identify and activate KOL/influencer partnerships that are credible within the Web3 ecosystem
- Collaborate with BD and ecosystem partners on co-marketing campaigns and joint growth initiatives
- Work closely with Product to shape go-to-market plans for new features, chain integrations, and partner launches
- Partner with internal teams to produce high-quality creative that resonates with both crypto natives and mainstream users
What We're Looking For
- 5 years of marketing experience, with at least 1 year in a crypto, DeFi, or Web3 company (wallet, exchange, L1/L2 protocol, or DeFi platform strongly preferred)
- Demonstrable track record of owning and scaling multi-channel campaigns with measurable growth impact
- Prior experience in a generalist or "full-stack" marketing role — able to move across brand, growth, content, and product marketing fluidly
- You are the user: genuinely degen, active on-chain, with a wallet history and ecosystem network to prove it
- Dune and Nansen are daily tabs; proficient in Amplitude and mobile attribution (AppsFlyer, Adjust, or Branch)
- Treats every initiative as a testable experiment; hunts for signal, quick wins, and strategic bets in the numbers
- Moves between a scrappy activation and a long-horizon strategic initiative in the same day without dropping quality
Bonus Points
- Marketed a self-custody wallet or non-custodial product
- Familiarity with Trust Wallet's ecosystem (multi-chain, Web3 Browser, Staking)
- Prior work at a top-tier exchange (Binance, Coinbase, Kraken) or DeFi protocol
- Experience running global marketing campaigns

This is a global and fully remote role. You must have the right to work for the country you are based.
