ABOUT BASETEN
Baseten powers mission-critical inference for the world's most dynamic AI companies, like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma, and Writer. By uniting applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and seamless developer tooling, we enable companies operating at the frontier of AI to bring cutting-edge models into production. We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F https://www.baseten.co/blog/announcing-our-series-f/, led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
Baseten is seeking talented and experienced Software Engineers to join our Platform team within the Infrastructure organization. As a member of Baseten's Platform Team, you will own the systems that let every engineer at Baseten prove their code works before it reaches production. Our product runs mission-critical AI inference for customers who measure downtime in dollars per second, which means our internal bar for correctness, performance, and failure tolerance has to be exceptional.
Your focus is the full testing stack: fast and reliable unit test tooling, integration harnesses that spin up realistic environments on demand, load and performance testing for GPU-backed inference workloads, and resilience testing that deliberately breaks things so our customers never have to find out what happens when a node dies mid-request. This is a builder role with org-wide leverage. You won't be writing tests for other teams — you'll be building the frameworks, harnesses, and feedback loops that make writing good tests the path of least resistance, and you'll set the standards for what "well-tested" means at Baseten.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own Baseten's testing strategy end to end — define the standards, the tiers, and the tooling that engineering teams build against.
- Build and maintain unit, integration, load and performance testing frameworks
- Design end to end test infrastructure that provisions realistic dependencies on demand — ephemeral Kubernetes namespaces, containerized service dependencies, etc.
- Build resilience and chaos testing capabilities: fault injection, network partition and latency simulation, pod and node failure scenarios, dependency degradation, and automated verification that our systems degrade gracefully and recover.
- Attack test suite reliability head-on — flake detection and quarantine, test impact analysis and selective execution, parallelization, and aggressive reduction of end-to-end CI wall time.
- Build observability into the testing layer itself: coverage reporting, test health dashboards, failure triage tooling, and clear signals about which areas of the codebase are under-tested.
- Create project templates and shared libraries so new services start with a complete testing setup on day one.
- Partner directly with product and infrastructure teams — embed where needed, understand their hardest testing problems, and turn one-off solutions into platform capabilities.
- Mentor engineers across the org on testing practice and raise the collective bar through code review, documentation, and internal advocacy.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong proficiency in Go and/or Python, with hands-on experience building test tooling and libraries used by other engineers.
- Deep experience with testing frameworks and their internals — pytest, Go's testing package, testify, testcontainers, or equivalents — including the ability to extend them, not just use them.
- Experience designing integration test infrastructure for distributed systems, including ephemeral environment provisioning and dependency management.
- Practical experience with load and performance testing tools (k6, Locust, Vegeta, JMeter, Gatling, or similar) and the judgment to interpret results and drive action from them.
- Solid Kubernetes and Docker fundamentals — you can build test infrastructure that runs on and tests against real cluster environments.
- Advanced understanding of CI/CD, including how to keep large test suites fast, deterministic, and trustworthy at scale.
- A track record of measurably improving testing culture on an engineering team — you have opinions on what to test, what not to test, and where the ROI actually is.
- Are excited about building foundational infrastructure and are comfortable working independently on ambiguous, high-impact technical challenges
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.
Apply now to embark on a rewarding journey in shaping the future of AI! If you are a motivated individual with a passion for machine learning and a desire to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, we would love to hear from you.
At Baseten, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. INTERVIEW PROCESS
We believe that the interview process should be transparent, consistent, and enjoyable. We value your time and hope to complete the interview process in two to four weeks, if schedules allow. Through your interviews, you will meet a mix of individual contributors, managers, and senior leaders.
AI USE DURING THE INTERVIEW PROCESS
As an AI company, Coder embraces the use of AI tools, and we want to be transparent about our expectations as you navigate our interview process.
Not permitted: Using AI assistance during conversational interviews.
Permitted: Using AI tooling for take-home assessments. Please flag where and to what extent it was used in your take-home. Your submission will not be penalized for using AI as long as it is done honestly.
OUR USE OF AI IN HIRING
We use AI tools to help manage our recruitment process efficiently and fairly. Specifically:
- Ashby and Brainerr help us review inbound applications by surfacing candidates who best match the role requirements we've defined. This tool does not make hiring decisions; it helps our team prioritize which applications to review first.
- Granola takes notes during our interview calls so our team can focus on the conversation with you.
All hiring decisions are made by humans. Our team reviews applications, conducts interviews, and makes final selections. AI tools assist us but never replace human judgment, and these practices are conducted in compliance with applicable data protection, AI governance, and labor laws. Your data is not used to train AI models.
In accordance with New York City Local Law 144, an independent bias audit has been conducted on "Automated Employment Decision Tools"; results are available for Ashby https://www.ashbyhq.com/downloadables/ashby-bias-audit-08-2024.pdf.
If you're applying for a role at Coder and have questions about how we use AI in our process, or if you'd like to request information about the data we collect, please contact careers@coder.com.

What you’ll be part of
Garner is on a mission to transform the U.S. healthcare system — and we’re the only proven player doing exactly that. We partner with employers to redesign how healthcare works: applying 550+ proprietary clinical metrics across 80+ specialties to a dataset of 320M+ patients to identify the best-performing doctors, then using compelling incentives to steer members to the care that helps them get healthier, faster.
The result is a rare “win win” — better care and lower costs for both members and employers. In just five years, our work has helped over 2.5 million people access higher-quality care and saved $1B in healthcare costs. We recently raised our Series E and have doubled five years running. If you've ever wanted your work to solve a problem that touches every person in this country, this is the opportunity to do exactly that. You'd be joining a team fundamentally reimagining healthcare in the U.S. — and using AI to scale that impact further and faster than anyone else can.
About the role:
We are seeking an exceptional Manager, Product Applied Science to build and lead a team at the core of Garner's product. Our members rely on us to answer hard questions — Which doctor should I see? What will it cost? When should we reach out, and how? — and the quality of those answers is determined by the algorithms behind them.
This is a hands-on management role. You are responsible for the overall technical direction of your squad, building alongside your team of Applied Scientists to solve some of the hardest problems at the company.
This is not a dashboards or descriptive-analytics team. Your team owns production systems end-to-end: framing the problem, defining the objective function, choosing the right approach (ML, optimization, heuristics, expert systems, or a hybrid), shipping it, and improving it against real-world outcomes. The closest analog outside healthcare is leading a research pod at a top hedge fund.
Where you will work:
This role will be based in our New York City office (in the Financial District). You must be willing to work in the office 3 days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
What you will do:
Lead a team of 4-6 — hire, coach, and develop them, hold the bar on both rigor and speed, and help raise that bar across Applied Science
Own the Population Health team and their outputs as a core responsibility
Own your team's roadmap and delivery: what gets built, in what order, and whether it ships
Set technical direction, and get in the weeds to do it — stay close enough to the code and the data to call the approach yourself, whether that's machine learning, optimization, a heuristic, or a simple rule, and set the standard for how your team makes that call
Define the set of metrics needed to judge whether a solution is working, and validate solutions before they ship
Put your own hands on the problems where your judgment matters most — the highest-stakes, least-defined work — and deliver the algorithmic step-changes that move metrics like total-cost-of-care savings, steerage, and member engagement
Turn ambiguous business goals into a clear problem set alongside Research, Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders, and represent your team's work to senior leadership
Set the quality bar: review your team's work with rigor, and define the metrics that decide whether a solution is working
Build a deep understanding of the healthcare economy and Garner's place in it
To make the role concrete, here are three problems on our near-term roadmap:
Provider tiering optimization.
Build a tiering algorithm that jointly optimizes geographic access and total-cost-of-care savings across our doctor network. The objective function, constraints, and tradeoff surface are all open design questions.
AI primary care doctor.
Fine-tune and productionize an LLM-based primary care experience on our website, including the evaluation harness, guardrails, and ongoing quality monitoring needed to ship a medical-adjacent product safely.
Member engagement model.
Build an ML system that ingests claims data and in-app behavior to choose the right channel and moment for each touchpoint — SMS, push, phone, or email — to influence member behavior toward better-quality, lower-cost care.
The ideal candidate has:
6+ years of industry experience as an Applied Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, Research Scientist, or equivalent; or 4+ years of industry experience with a relevant advanced degree, PhDs preferred
Deep technical credibility, with the range and judgment to lead scientists who are experts in their own right, and the willingness to stay hands-on
Strong judgment in choosing between statistical models, heuristics, optimization approaches, and simpler algorithmic methods depending on the problem
Strong applied problem-solving skills, with the ability to define good metrics and then deliver solutions that improve them
A bias toward action, quickly translating ideas into working prototypes to test approaches
Strong communication skills, including at the executive level, with a track record of driving alignment across teams and functions
A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback
Technologies we use:
Python, SQL, AWS, Snowflake, pandas, XGBoost, PyTorch, HuggingFace, modern LLM tooling and eval frameworks. We pick tools based on the problem, not the resume — bring your judgment.
This is a unique opportunity to build and lead the team behind Garner's algorithmic systems — shaping how members find better care, and how applied science gets done at Garner, while staying close to the work yourself.
What you'll get here:
You’ll work on problems that matter, at a company working to change healthcare at scale. You’ll work at the intersection of AI and systemic healthcare reform, where the problems we solve are as interesting and compelling as the mission.
At Garner, you’ll take on real, ambitious problems with real ownership and autonomy, alongside exceptional, principles-based people who genuinely want you to win. It’s demanding by design. You’ll be challenged to stretch beyond what you thought possible and receive consistent coaching to help you grow and do the best work of your career. This isn't the right fit for everyone, and that's intentional. The people here are driven by what's at stake for real people, and that's what gives our intensity its purpose.
Compensation Transparency:
The target base comp range for this position is $300,000-$390,000. Individual compensation for this role will depend on various factors, including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and competitive benefits plans, including but not limited to: flexible PTO, Medical/Dental/Vision plan options, 401(k) with company match, flexible spending accounts, Teladoc Health and more.

About the Role
iCapital is seeking a Cyber Case Manager to join the Global Information Security team within Cyber Security Operations. As the Security Operations Center (SOC) continues to grow, dedicated ownership of the case lifecycle has become essential to ensuring incidents and investigations are consistently tracked and driven to closure. The Cyber Case Manager serves as the single point of accountability for that lifecycle – from intake through resolution – ensuring every case is owned, prioritized, progressing, and documented. This individual-contributor will report to the Security Operations leader.
Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end lifecycle of security cases including intake, ownership assignment, progress tracking, and driving cases to resolution and closure.
Serve as the single point of accountability for case status across the SOC, maintaining an accurate, prioritized, real-time view of all open incidents and investigations.
Exercise authority to assign, reprioritize, and escalate cases across SOC Analysts, Threat Detection Engineering, and Incident Response to keep work moving and eliminate stalled cases.
Enforce case-handling SLAs and quality standards; proactively identify aging, blocked, or at-risk cases and escalate to the Security Operations Leader.
Coordinate cross-functional workstreams spanning incident response, DFIR, insider-threat cases, vulnerability-remediation tracking, audit and GRC findings, and eDiscovery and legal-hold requests.
Manage case documentation and evidence integrity – ensuring timelines, actions, decisions, and artifacts are captured consistently and remain audit-ready.
Integrate case workflows with SIEM/SOAR so alerts, enrichment, and automated actions flow into and out of the case record without manual re-keying.
Produce case metrics and leadership reporting, including MTTD, MTTR, backlog, aging, closure rates, and SLA adherence
for SOC leadership and stakeholders.
Build and continuously improve case-management processes, intake criteria, and runbooks to increase throughput and reduce manager overhead.
Facilitate case reviews, shift and regional handoffs, and post-incident lessons-learned, ensuring action items are tracked to completion.
Leverage the SOC’s SIEM and SOAR platforms, with Jira and Confluence as the system of record.
Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Human Resources, SOC Analysts, Security Engineering, Cloud Security, Incident Response, and business stakeholders to support sensitive investigations, maintain confidentiality and chain of custody, and strengthen iCapital’s overall cyber resiliency.

Familiar with handling sensitive investigations, evidence handling, and chain-of-custody principles
Exceptional organization, prioritization, and attention to detail while managing many concurrent cases
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to report status clearly to both technical and executive audiences
Relevant certifications (i.e. GCIH, GCFE, PMP, ITIL, or Splunk and SOAR) are preferred
Experience with dedicated case-management or SOAR platforms (i.e. ServiceNow SIR, TheHive, Splunk SOAR and Phantom)
Exposure to insider-threat, DFIR, eDiscovery, legal-hold, or GRC and audit workflows
Familiar with cloud environments, AWS is preferred and knowledge of Agile frameworks is preferred

ABOUT US
Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with many of the world's biggest brands — including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank — to transform how they serve customers and grow their businesses. We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and a commitment to balancing Family along the way. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do.
Our co-founders are Bret Taylor https://www.linkedin.com/in/brettaylor/ and Clay Bavor https://www.linkedin.com/in/claybavor/. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Previously, he was co-CEO of Salesforce (which had acquired the company he founded, Quip) and CTO of Facebook. Bret was also one of Google's earliest product managers and co-creator of Google Maps. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead the design and delivery of production-grade AI agents: We believe the best managers lead from being hands-on and close to the work. Our managers operate as ICs for their first 3-6 months at Sierra, and then evolve to manage and grow a team of engineers, all while building highly performant, reliable, and intuitive AI agents that are central, mission-critical, and directly drive Sierra’s growth. These aren’t prototypes—they are powerful, scalable systems running in production environments across industries like finance, healthcare, and commerce. You’ll ensure technical excellence, operational reliability, and high customer impact.
- Own the Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC): You’ll both build directly, and guide your team through the full lifecycle—from initial pilot through deployment and continuous iteration—coaching engineers to set and maintain the standard for ADLC best practices. You’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, meet customer needs, and scale effectively in production environments.
- Partner with large enterprises and cutting-edge startups: You’ll collaborate with leaders at some of the world’s largest enterprises to understand their most pressing business challenges, and guide your team in building AI agents that transform how they operate at scale. You’ll also work with innovative startups in Silicon Valley, embedding AI agents across their entire business stack to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Shape the future of the platform: Your team’s direct work with customers will guide the evolution of Sierra’s core platform. You’ll surface unmet needs, prioritize initiatives, and collaborate with research, product, and platform teams to shape the future of AI agent development and Sierra’s product.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Experience building and scaling, as well as leading engineering teams that build and scale, end-to-end production systems
- Strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to guide teams through ambiguous, fast-changing environments
- A leadership style that comes from being hands-on, and blends high standards with empathy, fostering both speed and quality
- Proven ability to work closely with customers and translate business needs into technical deliverables
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
EVEN BETTER...
- AI-related experience (experience developing AI agents a plus).
- Experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production
- Background as a founder, engineering lead, or startup builder with high ownership and urgency
- Familiarity with tools for today’s AI agents: eval frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering
- Prior experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go
- Experience interfacing with customers or leading technical projects with external stakeholders
OUR VALUES
- Trust: We build trust with our customers with our accountability, empathy, quality, and responsiveness. We build trust in AI by making it more accessible, safe, and useful. We build trust with each other by showing up for each other professionally and personally, creating an environment that enables all of us to do our best work.
- Customer Obsession: We deeply understand our customers’ business goals and relentlessly focus on driving outcomes, not just technical milestones. Everyone at the company knows and spends time with our customers. When our customer is having an issue, we drop everything and fix it.
- Craftsmanship: We get the details right, from the words on the page to the system architecture. We have good taste. When we notice something isn’t right, we take the time to fix it. We are proud of the products we produce. We continuously self-reflect to continuously self-improve.
- Intensity: We know we don’t have the luxury of patience. We play to win. We care about our product being the best, and when it isn’t, we fix it. When we fail, we talk about it openly and without blame so we succeed the next time.
- Family: We know that balance and intensity are compatible, and we model it in our actions and processes. We are the best technology company for parents. We support and respect each other and celebrate each other’s personal and professional achievements.
WHAT WE OFFER
We want our benefits to reflect our values and offer the following to full-time employees:
- Flexible (unlimited) paid time off
- Medical, dental, and vision benefits for you and your family
- Life insurance and disability benefits
- Retirement plan dependent on country of employment
- Parental leave
- Fertility and family building benefits through Carrot
- Lunch, as well as delicious snacks and coffee to keep you energized
- Discretionary benefit stipend giving people the ability to spend where it matters most
- Free alphorn lessons
These benefits are further detailed in Sierra's policies, may vary by region, and are subject to change at any time, consistent with the terms of any applicable compensation or benefits plans. Eligible full-time employees can participate in Sierra's equity plans subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
BE YOU, WITH US
We're working to bring the transformative power of AI to every organization in the world. To do so, it is important to us that the diversity of our employees represents the diversity of our customers. We believe that our work and culture are better when we encourage, support, and respect different skills and experiences represented within our team. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't precisely match the job description. We strive to evaluate all applicants consistently without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, pregnancy, gender expression or identity, sexual orientation, citizenship, or any other legally protected class.

About the Opportunity
Our Card and Payment engineering team builds reliable, intuitive experiences at the intersection of cards, payments, crypto, and global financial infrastructure. We partner closely with product, design, backend, risk, compliance, and business teams to make card and payment products accessible to users around the world.
As a Senior Mobile Engineer on the Card and Payment team, your primary responsibility will be to own and improve the global card issuance process. You will work mainly with product and engineering partners in the US, while meeting regularly with teams in Asia to understand requirements and align delivery. We are looking for someone who is highly self-driven, takes real ownership, collaborates well, and is eager to learn the card issuing and payment businesses in depth.
What You’ll Be Doing
Own the end-to-end global card issuance process—from eligibility and application through card creation, activation, provisioning, and lifecycle servicing—and improve the experience as OKX expands into new markets.
Learn the card issuing and payment domains deeply, and translate business, user, payment, and regulatory requirements into sound architecture, clear trade-offs, and executable delivery plans.
Own features from discovery through production, with a strong focus on security, reliability, observability, maintainability, documentation, and test coverage.
Drive ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives to completion with a high degree of ownership, self-direction, and sound judgment.
Collaborate primarily with product and engineering teams in the US, while joining regular discussions with Asia teams to discover, clarify, and align requirements.
Build with Swift, Kotlin, or Rust depending on the problem, and actively learn and adopt new languages, platforms, and tools rather than being limited to a single technology stack.
Use AI coding tools throughout the development lifecycle—from exploration and implementation to testing, review, and documentation—while maintaining strong engineering judgment and accountability.
Build and maintain reusable AI workflows, engineering harnesses, and technical knowledge bases that improve the entire team’s speed and quality.
Review code, share context openly, mentor teammates, and make decisions that improve both engineering quality and overall team outcomes.
Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and the continuous improvement of team practices.
What We Look For In You
B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
Proven experience shipping and operating production-quality mobile applications, with deep expertise in iOS or Android.
Strong proficiency in at least one of Swift, Kotlin, or Rust, with a demonstrated willingness to learn and contribute in unfamiliar languages and technology stacks.
Exceptional ownership and self-direction, with the judgment to make pragmatic decisions and drive ambiguous work to completion.
Demonstrated, regular use of AI coding tools with measurable impact on delivery speed, code quality, or engineering effectiveness.
A team-first mindset: you communicate openly, share knowledge, support peers, and align technical decisions around the best outcome for the team and product.
Genuine curiosity about card issuing and payment businesses, plus the ability to communicate technical decisions clearly with partners across the US and Asia. Professional proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese is required.
Nice to Haves
Hands-on experience with global card issuance flows, card processing, payments, fintech, crypto, or other high-trust financial products.
Experience launching products across multiple countries or regulatory environments.
Knowledge of mobile security, payment authentication, risk controls, or transaction lifecycle design.
Experience improving mobile architecture, shared components, developer tooling, or engineering productivity at team scale.
Experience mentoring engineers or leading cross-functional technical initiatives.
Perks & Benefits
Competitive total compensation package
L&D programs and Education subsidy for employees' growth and development
Various team building programs and company events
Wellness and meal allowances
Comprehensive healthcare schemes for employees and dependants
More that we love to tell you along the process!

ABOUT US
Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with many of the world's biggest brands — including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank — to transform how they serve customers and grow their businesses.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Lead full-cycle recruitment processes, from sourcing and screening to closing and onboarding, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
- Identify and engage with passive candidates through various channels, including online platforms, networking events, and industry connections, to build a strong, diverse talent pipeline.
- Drive initiatives to ensure diverse hiring practices and build a team reflective of our values and culture.
- Utilize metrics and analytics to track recruiting performance, identify areas for improvement, and optimize processes to achieve hiring targets, reporting regularly to hiring partners.
- Develop and execute our campus recruiting strategy, building relationships with universities and student communities, and representing Sierra on campus through recruiting events, career fairs, and other programs that build awareness and attract exceptional early-career talent.
- Help build and run Sierra’s internship and early-career programs, from campus recruiting and events to creating a high-quality intern experience that engages, develops, and converts exceptional early talent.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- 5+ years of full-cycle or university recruiting experience, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment.
- Proven ability to develop and execute recruiting strategies that align with business objectives.
- Proficiency in using recruiting metrics and data to inform decisions and improve processes.
- Strong collaboration skills with a willingness to work cross-functionally to achieve Sierra’s goals.
- Relationships with career centers, student orgs, faculty, and ambassadors.
- Experience in planning and executing campus engagement strategies, across universities through targeted events and partnerships.
EVEN BETTER...
- Ability to navigate ambiguity in order to adapt to the ever-changing needs of a growing organization.
- Ability and willingness to travel during peak recruiting cycles and work flexible hours as needed
- An interest in building from the ground up: launching intern programs, designing early talent hiring process

If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for an IT Site Specialist to join our IT Team at Ramp based in our San Francisco office! This is a temporary full-time on-site role that blends hands-on, in-person site support with ownership of our core SaaS application stack, and we weigh both sides equally. On the site side, you’ll be the primary IT presence in SF — owning deskside support, onboarding/offboarding, endpoint and AV support, and office inventory. On the application side, you’ll administer the tools the whole company depends on — Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, JAMF, and a growing set of SaaS platforms — owning provisioning, access, portfolio, renewals, integrations, and automation. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in running a smooth on-the-ground operation while also thinking like a systems owner who scales IT through automation and sound identity practices.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Provide in-person support at our San Francisco office 5 days/week, acting as the site’s primary IT point of contact.
- Perform IT Support Specialist (L4) duties, encompassing all responsibilities of the IT Support Specialist role.
- Provide deskside/walk-up support and resolve IT tickets end-to-end.
- Handle advanced troubleshooting and internal escalation before handoff to Pod 2 – IT Engineering.
- Triage and field support requests across tickets, email, Slack, and the team-it-ops and help-it distros; proactively work to minimize volume and improve SLAs.
- Direct and review Serval (AI support agent) workflow runs — step in when automated resolution fails, and contribute workflow builds and guidance improvements.
- Coordinate application onboarding/offboarding tied to lifecycle events (joiner/mover/leaver) — provisioning, deprovisioning, and access changes across the SaaS stack.
- Administer core applications (Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, JAMF, and other SaaS tools): user lifecycle, group/role management, and SSO/SCIM integrations.
- Own application portfolio management — seat counts, usage tracking, and license optimization.
- Manage SaaS renewals — tracking contract dates and coordinating renewals/cancellations.
- Partner with Pod 3 on SaaS App Strategy execution from an operational/usage standpoint.
- Build and maintain integrations and automations to reduce manual work and enforce least-privilege access.
- Manage on-site hardware inventory, lifecycle, and procurement coordination — stock levels, reorder requests, and coordinating with fulfillment vendors (e.g., Firstbase, SHI, CDW, Amazon).
- Support AV/conference room reliability in the SF office.
- Take ownership of small and large projects, partnering with internal and external teams to deliver.
- Perform recurring audits on application licenses, access, and hardware; drive remediation.
- Create technical and user-facing documentation; push the team toward industry best practices.
- Be an advocate for our users — understand their challenges and remove blockers with empathy.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Minimum 4 years of technical experience in an enterprise-size organization, with hands-on experience in both on-site IT support and SaaS/application administration.
- Strong knowledge of our core tech stack: Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, JAMF, and modern SaaS tools.
- Solid understanding of User Lifecycle Management, identity/access management, and least-privilege principles.
- Experience with SSO/SCIM provisioning and building integrations or automations across SaaS platforms.
- Experience managing SaaS application portfolios, license optimization, and vendor renewals.
- Experience with deskside support, ticket resolution, and knowing when to escalate to an engineering team.
- Comfort owning the physical site experience — endpoint troubleshooting, AV, and inventory — alongside back-end application administration.
- Strong attention to detail, execution-oriented, and comfortable owning ambiguous, cross-functional work.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Experience in high-growth startups.
- Experience managing macOS/Windows in hybrid/remote environments.
- Scripting/automation experience (e.g., Python, API integrations, workflow tools).
- Experience with AI-assisted support tooling and workflow automation (e.g., Serval or similar).
- Experience coordinating hardware procurement with fulfillment vendors (e.g., Firstbase, SHI, CDW).
- Okta Certified Professional / Administrator.
- Slack Certified Admin.
- Google Workspace Administrator experience.
