We’re scaling fast and staying true to what makes us different: an open-source legacy, a global collaborative culture, and a passion for meaningful work. Our team thrives in an innovation-driven environment where transparency, autonomy, and trust fuel everything we do.
You may not meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If this role excites you, we’d love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity.
The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a
Senior
Solutions Architect (Professional Services)
to join Grafana Labs’ world-class Customer Experience team. This is a highly hands-on role for technically skilled professionals who thrive on helping customers solve complex problems, accelerate adoption, and drive real business outcomes with Grafana at the center.
As a Solutions Architect, you’ll be a
trusted technical partner
—not a quota-carrying seller, but a customer-first advocate who leads with authenticity and insight. You’ll guide organizations through onboarding, implementation, and expansion by offering white-glove support, best practices, and proven strategies gathered from across our customer base.
You’ll operate with one foot in the code and the other in the customer’s world. Whether it’s understanding container orchestration in Kubernetes, fine-tuning Prometheus queries, or clarifying the nuances between logs, metrics, and traces—you’ll bring clarity and confidence to complex technical landscapes. You know the difference between "pets and cattle" and why that matters for scalable observability.
You’ll deliver high-impact training, jumpstart engagements, and offer tailored technical consulting to help customers succeed. As an embedded partner during critical phases, you’ll provide roadmap assurance, guide project execution, and ensure Grafana's capabilities align with the customer’s architecture, goals, and constraints. Along the way, you’ll identify recurring issues, monitor support needs, and advocate for product improvements in close collaboration with internal teams.
Success in this role means being a strategic thinker
and
a command-line problem solver. You’re passionate about OSS, love engaging with customers, and have the instincts to manage timelines, unblock teams, and deliver value at every stage of the engagement.
Join us and help elevate the Grafana customer experience through world-class technical delivery and meaningful impact.
What You'll Be Doing:
Effective in working with customers, including business executives, project managers, and IT development staff.
Effective in understanding business needs and distilling the information into business and technical requirements.

Ability to act as a functional lead and able to demonstrate clear approach to methodology as well as functional capabilities. Leads functional workshops with customers, documents requirements, and designs appropriate solutions.
Speed is paramount. This team is nimble and is the fulcrum to accelerate the delivery of the solution for customers.
Be a strong advocate for adherence to standards and best practices.
Stay current on Grafana Labs, observability, and related technologies.
You'll be a key resource for our Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Support, and Professional Services teams as they look to drive innovation and improvements into future product and offering enhancements.

ABOUT BASETEN
Baseten powers mission-critical inference for the world's most dynamic AI companies, like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma, and Writer. By uniting applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and seamless developer tooling, we enable companies operating at the frontier of AI to bring cutting-edge models into production. We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F https://www.baseten.co/blog/announcing-our-series-f/, led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
At Baseten, we’re looking for a Technical Program Manager to drive our most complex, cross-cutting infrastructure programs. This role will operate across all domains of AI infrastructure, from the GPUs up to the multi-cluster orchestration layer.
This is an execution-first role. The work is less about owning a single system and more about imposing order on ambiguity: standing up the right structures, driving decisions to closure, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks across dozens of stakeholders. If you take satisfaction in turning a chaotic, half-defined initiative into a predictable, well-governed program, this role is for you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own complex migrations end to end. Lead large-scale infrastructure migrations across teams and domains. This will involve scoping the work, sequencing dependencies, managing risk, and driving them to completion without surprises.
- Drive process across infrastructure. Establish and run the operating rhythms that keep programs healthy: planning cadences, status reporting, decision logs, risk reviews, and escalation paths. Make the process light enough that teams adopt it and rigorous enough that it actually works.
- Help managers build the right structures. Partner with engineering managers and leads to design the team structures, ownership boundaries, and working models a program needs to succeed. Spot gaps in accountability before they become problems.
- Own follow-ups relentlessly. Be the person who tracks every open item, owns the action register, and closes loops. Drive decisions and unblockers to resolution rather than letting them drift.
- Create clarity from ambiguity. Take loosely defined goals and turn them into scoped, sequenced, resourced plans with clear owners and measurable milestones.
- Manage risk and dependencies. Maintain a clear-eyed view of cross-team dependencies and risks; surface them early, drive mitigation, and keep leadership informed with honest, signal-rich updates.
- Communicate up, down, and across. Translate between deeply technical teams and senior leadership. Run effective program reviews and write the kind of crisp status that lets busy people make fast decisions.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of technical program management experience, with a track record of delivering large, cross-team infrastructure or platform programs.
- Demonstrated ownership of complex migrations or comparable multi-domain initiatives from inception through completion.
- Strong execution discipline: you build the structures, cadences, and tracking that keep programs on the rails, and you hold the line on follow-through.
- Comfort operating across multiple infrastructure domains. You don't need to be the deepest expert in any one, but you can engage credibly with engineers on compute, storage, networking, and data.
- Proven ability to influence without authority, aligning teams and managers who don't report to you around shared plans and commitments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; you can make complex, technical programs legible to any audience.
- A bias toward closure: you're uncomfortable with open loops and you drive things to done.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience designing team structures or operating models alongside engineering leadership.
- Experience with AI models, their use, and how they operate at the infrastructure level.
- Background in or exposure to software engineering, SRE, or infrastructure operations.
- Familiarity with the tooling that supports program execution at scale (e.g., issue tracking, planning, and reporting systems).
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- In your first few months, you'll have taken ownership of one or more in-flight programs, established the operating rhythm they were missing, and built the trust that makes teams want you in the room.
- Within a year, the programs you run are the ones leadership doesn't worry about, because the structure is clear, the risks are visible early, and the follow-ups always close.
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.
Apply now to embark on a rewarding journey in shaping the future of AI! If you are a motivated individual with a passion for machine learning and a desire to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, we would love to hear from you.
At Baseten, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, or veteran status.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable law (by example, the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, where applicable).

WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Notion is looking for an experienced engineer who has designed and built secure software systems to help define the security foundations for our AI products. You’ll work with product and engineering teams on agent runtimes, tool permissions, retrieval, content writes, observability, and abuse-resistant design. You’ll turn product risks into clear architecture, reusable guardrails, automated tests, and production systems that help teams ship new features safely.
This role is based in San Francisco. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- Define and build security architecture for product surfaces that operate across customer workspace content, including tool execution, content writes, retrieval, permission checks, provenance, and auditability.
- Make the secure path the easy path for product teams by shipping reusable libraries, review patterns, test fixtures, and guardrails that prevent classes of vulnerabilities.
- Build automated red-team and regression testing for risks such as prompt injection, indirect instruction following, data exfiltration, tool misuse, cross-tenant leakage, and unsafe workspace mutations.
- Translate threat models for new product surfaces into concrete engineering requirements, production checks, and launch criteria.
- Use production signals, incident learnings, and targeted experiments to harden Notion over time, then feed those learnings back into architecture and developer workflows.
- Help define the security bar for how engineers use coding agents, MCP-enabled tools, hooks, and internal automation without introducing new risk.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- Secure software engineering craft: You have 8-10+ years of experience designing, building, or securing complex software systems, and you are comfortable working in production code with product and platform engineers.
- Security architecture judgment: You can look at a complex system and reason about where the permissions, data flow, or trust boundaries are likely to get weird, and help re-design it to make them better.
- Security product strategy: You can turn a complex security risk you see into a product design or architecture that can be built.
- Builder mindset: You’d rather leave behind a useful tool, test, library, or pattern than a task or project for someone else to pick up later.
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience building or securing products with tool use, retrieval, workflow automation, content writes, or complex permission boundaries.
- Hands-on experience with prompt-injection testing, red teaming, model behavior evaluation, or abuse-resistant application design.
- Experience with enterprise SaaS security models: permissions, sharing, audit logs, data residency, encryption, compliance, or customer-facing trust guarantees.
- Experience building developer tooling, CI checks, coding-agent workflows, MCP integrations, or internal frameworks that shape how engineers build software.
- Public security research, vulnerability writeups, conference talks, or open-source work related to product security or secure developer infrastructure.
Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in San Francisco, the estimated base salary range for this role is $270,000 - $340,000 per year.

A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY & ACCOMMODATIONS
We hire talented people from a wide range of backgrounds. If you’re excited about this role but don’t meet every bullet, we still encourage you to apply. Notion is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected characteristic. Consistent with applicable law, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. Notion provides reasonable accommodations during the application process; if you need one, please let your recruiter know.
Notion is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate in hiring or any employment decision based on race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), marital status, ancestry, physical or mental disability, genetic information, veteran status, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, or other applicable legally protected characteristic. Notion considers qualified applicants with criminal histories, consistent with applicable federal, state and local law. Notion is also committed to providing reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans in our job application procedures. If you need assistance or an accommodation due to a disability, please let your recruiter know.

At Linear, we're building the product development system for teams and agents. AI is fundamentally changing how software gets built, and we’re shaping the tools this new era requires.
Founded in 2019, Linear has become the platform of choice for more than 40,000 companies (including OpenAI, Coinbase, and Ramp) to plan, build, and ship their products. Today, our team is distributed across North America, Europe, and Australia, and we’re continuing to grow internationally. What unites us is relentless focus, fast execution, and a deep care for software craftsmanship.
As a small team, we're all generalists that work across the full stack (built in TypeScript end-to-end). We’re looking for engineers that thrive in an environment of autonomy and individual responsibility to help us build the future of product development.

- Strong React and TypeScript fundamentals, with experience across the full stack (Browser technologies, Node, GraphQL, PostgreSQL)
- Track record of driving complex, end-to-end features (not just incremental improvements and refactors) with visible impact on the product
- Product sensibility: you care about UX, speed, and polish, and you push back when something doesn't feel right
- Comfortable working without heavy PM overhead; you can help to shape the problem, not just implement a solution
- High ownership mentality: self-directed, full-lifecycle builder who takes a feature from idea to shipped
- Thrives in a remote, async-first environment with a lean, high-output team
- Experience at a startup or a company with a genuinely high engineering bar
Our tech
This stack reflects the systems we build and operate. You’re not expected to have experience with everything listed, but you should be excited to work close to product, performance, and real-world scale.
- Agentic workflow system utilizing temporal, operating at production scale

- React, MobX, StyleX on the frontend
- Extensive, highly-trafficked GraphQL API and SDK
- Node, PostgreSQL, Temporal, and Redis on the backend

We're a small, focused team that cares deeply about the quality of our work and the people we do it with. Here's what you can expect:
- Competitive salary and equity
- Employee-friendly equity terms including early exercise in the US and extended exercise windows
- Daily meal and coffee stipend on every workday

THE ROLE
As the Engineering Manager for Baseten's Cloud Platform team, you will directly manage a team of cloud platform engineers responsible for building the systems and processes that keep our infrastructure scalable, reliable, and efficient — from automated deployments and monitoring to performance optimization and incident response.
You are a people-first leader with a strong cloud infrastructure background. You set a high bar for reliability and operational excellence, engage credibly in technical discussions and code reviews, and know how to build a culture of ownership and accountability. You'll spend most of your time close to the work: unblocking your team, shaping technical direction on day-to-day decisions, and developing your engineers. At Baseten, we work closely with our users to understand their struggles operationalizing ML — you'll keep your team connected to that mission and translate user learnings into better infrastructure.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruit, hire, and grow a high-performing team of cloud platform engineers; provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and career development through regular 1:1s.
- Set clear performance expectations, hold a high bar, and create an environment where engineers do their best work.
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Drive day-to-day technical decisions through design reviews, code reviews, and architectural discussions; translate the infrastructure roadmap into clear team priorities and milestones, and hold execution against them.
- Establish standards and best practices for reliability, performance, and operational excellence; ensure the team owns projects end-to-end, from specification through production.
- Exercise and encourage good judgment on tooling and architectural tradeoffs, with a bias against unnecessary complexity.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to align infrastructure work with business priorities; represent your team's progress, capacity, and technical tradeoffs clearly to leadership.
- Serve as the escalation point for major incidents; drive resolution with urgency, ensure the team learns systematically, and stay connected to users so those learnings feed back into infrastructure improvements.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience directly managing engineers in a cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or SRE context (not managing managers).
- Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes, with the ability to engage credibly in architectural discussions and code reviews.
- Strong background building and maintaining scalable, production infrastructure.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi) and CI/CD tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Jenkins).
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects end-to-end — from specification to execution — and coach your team to do the same.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to influence across teams without direct authority.
- Track record of recruiting and growing engineering talent.
- Openness to learning about ML infrastructure; prior machine learning experience is not required.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with OSS observability tooling (Prometheus, ELK stack, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
- Background in multi-cloud environments or GPU infrastructure.
- Experience building and managing on-call rotations and incident response processes.
