About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic's global order-to-cash (O2C) function is scaling faster than the processes and systems behind it, across direct enterprise contracts, consumption-based commercial models, and third-party cloud marketplaces. We're looking for a Senior Manager, Order-to-Cash Assurance to make sure every order is priced, billed, collected, and recorded correctly, and that we can prove it.
You'll be embedded in the O2C Transformation team, working closely with Order Management, AR & Collections, Revenue Accounting, Billing Engineering, and Go-to-Market. You'll design and run the pricing audits and accuracy measures that show us where we leak revenue or create rework, then fix the root cause at the source. You'll be the compliance advocate for global O2C, helping the business find the compliant way to yes, and often improving a process by removing steps rather than adding them.
You'll thrive here if you treat accuracy and compliance as design problems and as a service to the business. You are firm when the risk is real, flexible when it isn't, and able to explain the difference. If you're energized by ambiguous, high-consequence operational problems at a company at the forefront of AI development, we'd like to hear from you.
Key responsibilities
Design and run recurring audit programs across the O2C lifecycle, including pricing audits, contract-to-invoice accuracy, credits, refunds and concessions, and cash application
Define accuracy metrics with baselines and targets, such as pricing and invoice error rates, first-pass yield, rework volume, and revenue leakage, and report them in a way teams can act on
Trace findings to root cause and work with the owning team on the fix, whether in process, system configuration, or contract and pricing standards
Move measurement from periodic sampling to continuous, system-driven monitoring as volume grows
Partner with Order Management and AR operations as their quality partner, and help GTM, Deal Desk, Sales Operations, and Product understand what accurate and compliant looks like through clear published guidance that shortens the path to yes
Review new processes, process changes, commercial models, and exceptions against policy and control requirements, with clear decision rights, service levels, and rationale that stay consistent across regions, entities, and channels
Build compliance into new products, channels, commercial models, and regions by joining at intake rather than at the end
Own O2C policies, control ownership, and segregation of duties
Partner with Internal Audit, external auditors, Revenue Accounting, Tax, and Legal so audit cycles run smoothly, and resolve findings at the root cause
Perform independent review activities, including month-end close reviews, so operations teams can focus on execution while independence is preserved
Create reusable, pre-approved process patterns and guardrails so teams can move quickly without a bespoke review every time, harmonizing globally and localizing only where statute requires
Work with Billing Engineering, GTM Systems, and Business Technology to build controls and accuracy checks into the systems themselves, so quality scales with volume
Deploy AI and automation for exception detection, reconciliation, anomaly detection, and evidence collection
Minimum qualifications
Hands-on experience designing and running audit, quality, or revenue assurance programs within order-to-cash, billing operations, or quote-to-cash
Working knowledge of revenue recognition (ASC 606) and experience partnering with internal and external auditors
Experience with contracting systems, billing platforms, or ERP systems (for example Salesforce, Stripe, or Workday Financials)
Proficiency with SQL or similar tools for analyzing and testing transactional data
Experience using automation or AI for monitoring, testing, or reporting
Preferred qualifications
10+ years of progressive experience in revenue operations, billing operations, revenue assurance, finance operations, or internal controls within order-to-cash at a public company
A track record of simplifying processes, with concrete examples of steps or controls you removed while improving accuracy or strengthening the control environment
A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related field
CPA, CIA, CISA, or CRISC certification, or Lean Six Sigma or PMP certification
Experience building or scaling a SOX program, including readiness for public-company reporting requirements
Experience with global, multi-entity operations, including statutory invoicing and tax considerations
Experience serving both B2C and B2B customers, especially with consumption-based and subscription billing models through to collections
Experience working with go-to-market, deal desk, and revenue operations organizations
Strong cross-functional influence and clear communication about issues and decisions
Understanding of AI industry business models and enterprise customer needs
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$190,000
—
$230,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Comfortable with all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and rollout
Exhibits curiosity and seeks to understand before offering solutions
Communicates proactively in a remote environment by keeping the team informed, surfacing blockers early, and moving work forward

Experience with discovering and implementing performance improvements, including CPU and IO
Understanding of Linux internals and file systems
Familiarity with hard drive performance and optimization, including host-managed SMR
Experience building and interpreting models, dashboards, or reports

OUR STORY:
Every year millions of people are either filing their taxes in fear or giving up on their tax refund altogether. We're working on fixing that. Our intuitive app enables anyone, regardless of education or background, to file their taxes with newfound confidence.
Spread across Germany, Spain and the UK, the team at Taxfix Group with its brands Taxfix and Steuerbot, is a compassionate group of solution-finders. We speak our minds openly, and with over 400 professionals, including tax experts, developers, and IT security experts, we're rich in ideas and voices. The group has facilitated more than 3.5 billion euros in tax refunds for its customers since its founding in 2016.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
We're now growing our consumer business and building new services for self-employed people and freelancers. To support that, we're looking for an Influencer Marketing Manager to run creator campaigns for Taxfix and Steuerbot.
Most people find taxes stressful. Hearing from a creator they already trust that they got money back in one evening is more convincing than an ad. That's why creators are a big part of our marketing. We run the channel in-house with a significant yearly budget and use it both to bring in new users and to build trust in our brands. The hard part is doing both at once: getting new users at a good cost while keeping the content credible for the creator's audience.
This role reports to the Influencer Marketing Lead and focuses at first on our two German brands, Taxfix and Steuerbot.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Run and scale creator campaigns from start to finish: find creators, reach out, negotiate, brief them, review content, take it live and report on results.
- Negotiate deals that make sense for both sides. Push back on first prices and agree on terms like view guarantees or performance-based pay.
- Build long-term relationships with creators and their managements, and decide how we work with them across both brands.
- Run frequent hypothesis-driven experiments. We put strong emphasis on asking the right questions, good experiment design, and generating actionable data and interpretations. You own large parts of creator and influencer experimentation.
- You continue to expand our creator database and context layer, allowing you to work very data and insight driven, and enabling AI agents to work alongside or for you equipped with the right data and context.
- Automate the repetitive parts of your job with n8n, Claude Cowork/Code and GitHub, so research, scoring and reporting run on their own and you can spend your time on higher value work with creators, negotiations, content and strategy.
- Seasonal campaign planning across multiple platforms, formats and creator sizes.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience running influencer campaigns on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, at a brand or an agency.
- You’re highly curious about the creator economy and thrive on turning complex, ambiguous challenges into practical solutions in a high-agency role.
- You’re an effective and confident negotiator who always strives to get the best deal and who’s not shy to walk away from a deal.
- You’re highly analytical and very comfortable with processing and critically interpreting data sets, with an eye for detail.
- You are on the path of becoming an AI builder with first basic to advanced workflow automations or other agentic solutions under your belt with measurable impact.
- You’re experienced in general in how to work with LLMs and agentic solutions effectively, including when to critically review their outputs.
- Strong communicator and relationship builder with both, internal stakeholders and external managements and creators. You’re fluent in German and English.
If you come from performance marketing, growth, affiliate or creator operations and have worked with creators, apply anyway. We'd like to hear from you.
WHAT YOUR FIRST 90 DAYS LOOK LIKE
- A creator pipeline where you can explain why each creator is on it.
- Working relationships with the creators and managements you book.
- Two structured experiments, with read-outs that say what failed as clearly as what worked.
- One recurring task automated, with the hours it saves measured.
WHY TAXFIX?
- A chance to do meaningful, people-centric work with an international team of passionate professionals.
- Holistic well-being with free mental health coaching sessions.
- A monthly allowance to spend on an extensive range of services that you can use and roll over as flexibly as you like.
- Employee stock options for all employees—because everyone deserves to benefit from the success they help to create.
- 30 annual vacation days and flexible working hours.
- A generous learning budget to support your personal and professional development and guidance from our internal L&D experts.
- Work from abroad for up to six weeks every year. Just align with your team, and then enjoy your trip.
- Plenty of opportunities to socialise as a team. In addition to internal meetups, our international team hosts regular get-togethers—virtually and in person when possible.
- Free tax declaration filing, of course, through the Taxfix app—and internal support for all personal tax-related questions.
- Have a four-legged friend in your life? We’re happy to have dogs join us in the office.
Excited? So are we. Check out our Life at Taxfix https://www.linkedin.com/company/taxfix/life/8684512c-424f-44de-8d07-6e6b516e3319/?viewAsMember=true page on LinkedIn to get a glimpse of our culture.
At Taxfix, we believe that incredible things happen when you have a wealth of perspectives and experiences. We're proudly committed to equal employment and development opportunities no matter your gender, race, religion, age, sexual orientation, colour, disability, or place of origin. To help mitigate any potential unconscious biases, we ask that you refrain from including your picture, age, or marital status on your CV. Let your experiences speak for themselves.
Not sure if you meet all the requirements for this role? Please apply anyway. You might bring something special to the team that we hadn't considered previously.

This team sits at the intersection of risk management, operations, capital markets, finance, treasury, and product. It draws on deep brokerage and credit experience. In this role, you will own the end-to-end counterparty credit risk assessment and ongoing monitoring process. You will work closely with Treasury, Finance, Market Risk, Legal, Product, and the Securities Lending team to ensure every counterparty is rigorously evaluated and that exposure remains within our risk appetite.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our counterparty risk framework depends on knowing exactly who we're dealing with, and how much risk we're taking on with each of them. Because the function is growing, a lot of it will be yours to shape.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Conduct and compile comprehensive credit assessments and provide detailed written recommendations for new and existing counterparties, incorporating regulatory financial statement analysis and other factors to determine credit limits.

- Work across different teams in a fast-paced environment, supporting both front office and risk development. Make well-reasoned decisions with incomplete information and state the assumptions and risks behind them. Help build lasting positive relationships with our counterparties.
SKILLS YOU BRING
- 1–3+ years experience in counterparty credit risk, credit analysis or a relevant credit risk management role in an investment dealer or brokerage environment
- Working knowledge of broker-dealer regulatory capital, including risk-adjusted capital and net excess capital, and how to interpret Form 1 and FOCUS filings.
- Preference given to individuals who are pursuing the CFA, CPA or FRM program.
WHO YOU ARE
- Relentlessly pursues root causes and is willing to continuously expand their knowledge and competencies. Acts without being told what to do and is ready to “roll up their sleeves” and build solutions from the ground up. Takes full ownership of work and proactively identifies risks before they materialize.
- Plans, organizes, and prioritizes effectively across multiple concurrent priorities.
- Distills complex credit and risk concepts into clear, actionable recommendations for any audience.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced English into Uzbek (Cyrillic) Review Lead to serve as the language quality owner and primary client-facing linguistic expert for a leading global technology client.
You will own the locale’s interpretation of the client’s quality standards and make sure that the Post-Editing Lead, Post Editors, and Reviewers all work to the same shared understanding of “good”. You will be the main point of contact for the client’s Language Manager on quality discussions, arbitration, and escalations, and you will drive consistency, quality governance, and continuous improvement across UI, marketing, product, informational, legal, and support content.
Project Details
- Location: Remote (based in one of the approved countries below)
- Expected volume: Approximately 24 hours per month
- Employment type: Freelance / Independent Contract
- Task type: Language Lead Support
- Content types: UI, Marketing, Informational, Legal, Product, Support
- Language pair: English into Uzbek (Cyrillic)
What You Will Do
-Analyse requirements: Review every style guide and glossary update, assess which quality categories and content types it affects, and record the changes. Track what the client’s Language Manager actually corrects and says in calibration and quality calls, not only what is written down.
-Relay expectations: Run regular alignment roundtables with the language community and publish a structured monthly quality digest covering performance, priority improvement areas, style guide updates, and notable errors and arbitration outcomes.
-Manage review quality actively: Coach Reviewers one-to-one using specific examples, run shadowing sessions from real alignment data.
-Improve the standard: Turn recurring justification patterns into well-reasoned style guide proposals, and share cross-locale patterns with the Welocalize Quality Manager.
-Maintain alignment with the client: Treat Language Manager decisions as the standard, raise concerns with evidence at the right forum, and aim for fewer surprises over time.
What You Will Own
-The locale’s review service score, including RQE audit and alignment performance
-The community’s shared understanding of quality
-The integrity of the arbitration record, ensuring that every arbitration sent to the client is valid and well-evidenced
-The working relationship with the client’s Language Manager, including clarifications, escalations, and expectation tracking
Requirements
- Experience: 3 to 5+ years in Localization Quality Assurance (LQA), Senior Language Lead, or Quality Governance roles
- Client and stakeholder management: Direct experience as the primary point of contact for client Language Managers, managing formal arbitration or escalation processes, and facilitating conflict resolution
- Quality audit frameworks: Deep, practical experience with localization evaluation frameworks, including RQE, LQE, error rubrics, and severity mapping
- Style guide and expectation analysis: Ability to analyse style guide changes, identify implicit client expectations, and map tolerance by content type (for example, Marketing vs. Legal vs. UI)
- Meeting facilitation: Hands-on experience with one-to-one coaching, shadowing sessions, alignment roundtables, and structured monthly quality reporting
- Analytical approach: Skill in tracking error concentrations, severity drift, and alignment scores, and in converting justification patterns into style guide improvements
- Language: Native-level Uzbek (Cyrillic) and professional-level English
- Preferred: Prior experience supporting major technology localization programs and working with calibration or alignment tools
Additional Key Information
- Successful candidates will be provided with a dedicated device for project work.
- A background check is required as part of onboarding.
- Candidates must be physically located in one of the approved countries.
Approved countries: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, El Salvador, Finland, France, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Lithuania, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Norway, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States and Vietnam.

This role offers a long-term partnership with global teams on high-visibility products. You will benefit from steady project volume, comprehensive onboarding and ongoing learning, and access to established linguistic resources.

Who We Are
At OKX, we believe that the future will be reshaped by crypto, and ultimately contribute to every individual's freedom.
OKX is a leading crypto exchange, and the developer of OKX Wallet, giving millions access to crypto trading and decentralized crypto applications (dApps). OKX is also a trusted brand by hundreds of large institutions seeking access to crypto markets. We are safe and reliable, backed by our Proof of Reserves.
Across our multiple offices globally, we are united by our core principles:
We Before Me
,
Do the Right Thing
, and
Get Things Done
. These shared values drive our culture, shape our processes, and foster a friendly, rewarding, and diverse environment for every OK-er. OKX is part of OKG, a group that brings the value of Blockchain to users around the world, through our leading products OKX, OKX Wallet, OKLink and more.
About the Opportunity
OKX is hiring a Head of Tax Information Reporting to build and run our global tax information reporting function. The function covers the OECD Crypto-Asset Reporting Framework (CARF), the EU's DAC8 directive, the amended Common Reporting Standard (CRS 2.0), FATCA, and US Form 1099-DA across multiple reporting entities and a large global user base, with annual reporting across the EU, Brazil, and other CARF jurisdictions.
Most of the work is data: getting the right user, transaction, and balance data out of our platform, reconciling it, and turning it into accurate filings. You will own the relationship with our reporting vendor, the data specification that feeds it, and the quality checks that decide whether a file goes out.
You will run a central function that owns policy, data, vendor, QA, and submission for every entity in scope. Each reporting entity names an accountable signatory. Local compliance and entity leads are consulted on local requirements and support registration where the law requires a local filer. You will work closely with Product, Data Engineering, Finance Operations, Group Tax, Legal, Data Privacy, and the local entity leads.
What You’ll Be Doing
Own the end-to-end CARF, DAC8, CRS 2.0, FATCA, and 1099-DA reporting cycle for every OKX entity in scope: population definition, self-certification coverage, data extraction and reconciliation, file production, QA, filing, corrections, and tax authority queries.
Define and own the data specification that feeds the tax platform vendor: which users, which transactions, which balances, how they are aggregated by user and jurisdiction, and how they reconcile to the ledger. Work with Product and Data Engineering to build and test the pipeline.
Build and run the QA framework. Reconcile every file to source, validate it against the OECD XML schema and local variants, sample-test self-certification reasonableness checks, and run cross-entity consistency checks for users who hold accounts with more than one OKX entity. Nothing files without your release.
Manage the tax platform vendor: contract scope, delivery calendar, test cycles, output validation, issue resolution, and the annual renewal decision.
Set the group reporting policy and interpret the regimes for OKX: reportable crypto-assets, transfers to unhosted wallets, staking and reward income, retail payment thresholds, residency tie-breakers, and TIN rules, exercising independent technical judgment, supported by Legal and external tax advisers.
Own the global tax self-certification design in onboarding, including validation rules, refresh triggers, and the backlog remediation program for existing users, working with Compliance and Product.
Define the process for restricting undocumented accounts under DAC8 and CARF, including reason codes and customer communications, with restrictions applied automatically in Product and monitored by the central team.
Maintain the entity-by-entity readiness tracker covering domestic enactment, registration, self-certification coverage, and deadlines. Report weekly to the CCO and monthly to the CARF steering committee.
Hands-on leader. Build a small, senior team, scaled through the reporting vendor and outside advisers. Coordinate with and train local compliance and entity leads.
Support independent testing by Compliance Monitoring, Risk, and Internal Audit, and support tax authority examinations with complete, reproducible records.
What We Look For In You
7+ years in tax information reporting, tax operations, or regulatory data reporting at a global exchange, broker, bank, fintech, or digital asset platform, including at least 3 years leading a team.
Hands-on experience in a global, distributed digital asset business: you have worked with exchange or wallet transaction data, multiple legal entities, and users spread across many jurisdictions. This is required.
Strong data skills. You can write SQL, define data specifications for engineers, reconcile large transaction datasets to a ledger, and find the gap when the numbers do not tie. You have built or run data quality controls on reporting output.
Working knowledge of CARF, DAC8, CRS, and FATCA, including due diligence rules, self-certification requirements, reportable transaction categories, and the XML schemas used for exchange. Direct CARF or DAC8 implementation experience is strongly preferred given live DAC8 obligations and upcoming CARF reporting.
Experience managing a tax reporting vendor or reporting platform, including scoping, testing, and holding the vendor to a delivery calendar. the tax platform vendor experience is a plus.
Experience building a function from a small base: writing the policy, designing the controls, hiring the team, and running the first cycle.
Ability to explain data and tax issues plainly to executives, engineers, and local compliance officers, and to run a steering committee.
Judgment on when to escalate, comfort working across US, EU, and Asia time zones, and a record of meeting hard filing deadlines.
Nice to Haves
Experience with US Form 1099-DA or 1099-B production, backup withholding, or Qualified Intermediary reporting.
Experience with the DAC8 60-day account restriction process or equivalent undocumented account remediation at scale.
Familiarity with GDPR requirements for sharing customer data with tax authorities, including data protection impact assessments.
Python or similar scripting for data validation, and experience with data warehouse tools such as Databricks.
Experience working inside a Three Lines Model, including supporting second-line monitoring and Internal Audit.
A CPA, chartered tax adviser, or equivalent; or a degree in data science, computer science, or accounting.

A connected Claude is the difference between a general-purpose chatbot and a real coworker. We're building the connected enterprise on three fronts: zero-touch activation, a thriving connector ecosystem, and an enterprise control plane that lets organizations adopt with confidence. We own the path from discovering a connector to using it every day: default and suggested connectors, one-click setup, connector requests, and the identity and admin pieces that remove setup friction for a whole organization at once.
You'll be a technical leader who owns activation end to end, from the moment someone sees a connector to their first successful use of it. You'll also help to shape the foundations that help the connector ecosystem grow, and the governance controls that make it safe at enterprise scale. You'll partner closely with product, design and data science, and carry real ownership over what we ship next.
What you'll do
Own connector activation end to end: measure the funnel from discovery to first use to habit, find the biggest drop-offs, and fix them
Build and run experiments on default connectors, in-product suggestions, connector requests and onboarding flows
Make setup close to zero-touch, building on open standards like Cross App Access (XAA) and the MCP authorization spec so one approval can turn a connector on for everyone
Improve the connectors people reach for most, like Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, so the first experience works and keeps working
Lay platform foundations for the connector ecosystem: reusable building blocks that make every new connector easier to launch, discover and activate
Build out the enterprise control plane: admin controls and governance (domain restrictions, labels, permissions) that help security teams say yes faster instead of blocking rollout
Partner with product, design, data science and sales to turn usage data and customer feedback into priorities
Set technical direction and standards for the team, mentor other engineers, and lead with influence rather than authority
Minimum Qualifications
Have shipped growth or activation work: onboarding flows, funnels, experimentation, and measuring what actually moves usage
Are comfortable with authorization and identity (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SSO), enough to make setup flows simple without cutting corners
Have built on large platform APIs (Microsoft Graph, Google Workspace or similar) and can debug failures on both sides of the boundary
Have built platform or ecosystem surfaces that other teams or developers rely on, and care about durable, well-designed APIs
Understand what enterprise admins and security teams need from policy, permissions and governance at scale
Use data and user research to decide what to build, and can explain the tradeoffs to product and design partners
Drive cross-team and cross-company alignment to ship, with influence over authority
Preferred Qualifications
Have 8+ years of software engineering experience, ideally with 2+ years at a Staff or equivalent technical leadership level
Contributed to or implemented emerging auth standards (IETF OAuth drafts, MCP authorization)
Experience with data governance or information protection (sensitivity labels, DLP)
Built admin consoles or policy engines for multi-tenant SaaS
Run growth experiments on activation funnels
Built AI products or agent tool integrations (MCP)
Helped grow a developer or partner ecosystem around a platform
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$405,000
—
$485,000 USD
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains.

Anthropic's compute runs on a growing global portfolio of data centers built with development partners. As a Senior Field Engineer on the Data Center Design and Engineering team, you will work side by side with developers, general contractors and engineers of record to resolve technical issues on site and speed up construction. You will spend most of your time on active sites, acting as our team's eyes, voice and technical judgment in the field. You will spot problems first, get the right people moving, and stay with each issue until it is closed.
You don't need a data center background. We care more about whether you have delivered complex industrial projects from the field and can get contractors and partners to act when you have no formal authority over them.
What you'll do
Be our engineering presence on site.
You will walk installed work against the approved design and build working relationships with developers, general contractors, engineers of record, vendors and commissioning teams. You will hold design acceptance on our team's behalf, deciding whether installed work meets the design. When field conditions and drawings disagree, you will be the first call. You will settle what you can on the spot and bring in the right discipline engineer for the rest. More than 50% of your working time will be at project sites, often with overnight travel across multiple sites. The rest will be remote from your home base.
Get issues closed.
You will keep one prioritized list of open engineering issues for your sites, each with an owner and a date. You will follow up in person, challenge dates that don't hold up, and escalate early with a clear recommendation when something is stuck.
Find out why things fail.
When equipment, an installation or a test fails, you will gather the evidence, test the first explanation, and trace the failure to its underlying cause. You will confirm that the fix works and check whether other sites carry the same risk.
Clear the path to commissioning and handover.
You will check the interfaces between power, cooling, controls and structure before they surface as test failures. You will drive RFIs, deviations and field changes to decisions, so that open engineering questions don't hold up the crews.
Bring the field back into the design.
You will turn recurring site problems into changes to our designs, standards and audit checklists. Each project should make the next one easier to deliver.
What this role is not
You won't manage construction crews or direct contractors' means and methods; those stay with our construction delivery partners. You will work with our discipline engineers and hold the field view, rather than produce design documents.
You may be a good fit if you
Have spent years on active project sites in energy, power, heavy industrial, data center or similar environments, as an engineer, project manager, or construction or commissioning lead
Can read drawings, single-line diagrams, P&IDs, specifications and schedules well enough to see where they disagree with what's been installed
Can give specific examples of persuading contractors, vendors or partners who didn't report to you to change course
Hold your position under pressure, back it with evidence, deliver bad news early, and change your mind when the facts change
Have led structured failure investigations, using a method such as 5 Whys or 8D, and seen the corrective actions through
Write short, factual reports that a busy reader can act on
Treat safety as your own job, and will stop work that isn't safe
Have a degree in engineering, construction management or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Strong candidates may also have
Experience as an owner's representative overseeing an EPC or general contractor
Commissioning, startup or system turnover experience
Worked in LNG, refining, offshore, power generation, semiconductor or naval environments
An electrical, mechanical or civil, structural and architectural (CSA) engineering background
A PE license, PMP or OSHA 30 certification
Familiarity with tools such as Procore or Primavera P6
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
