An overview of this role
As a Senior Professional Services Engineer at GitLab, you'll work directly with customers to deliver installation, migration, training, and advisory services that help them adopt GitLab successfully. You'll lead engagements from single-node Omnibus installs to large reference architectures built with infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration as code. You'll also guide migrations from other systems to GitLab SaaS or self-managed deployments, and help customers make practical decisions that improve reliability, security, and day-to-day workflows.
In this role, you'll work closely with customers and GitLab's product and engineering teams to drive customer success and share feedback that improves GitLab and how we deliver services. You'll manage multiple projects at once, mentor other Professional Services Engineers, and help streamline how we deliver consistent outcomes in a remote, largely asynchronous environment.
Some examples of our projects:
Designing and delivering GitLab installations and reference architectures using tools like Terraform and Ansible across major cloud providers
Leading migrations to GitLab SaaS or self-managed GitLab, and turning customer feedback into actionable improvements for GitLab's product and engineering teams
What you’ll do
Deliver GitLab Professional Services engagements, including installation, migration, training, and advisory services across GitLab capabilities.
Plan and execute deployments ranging from single-node Omnibus installations to large reference architectures using Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code practices.
Lead migrations from multiple source systems to GitLab SaaS or self-managed GitLab, helping customers adopt secure, reliable workflows.
Partner with Engagement Managers and Project Managers to improve delivery consistency, remove friction, and continuously refine delivery processes.
Serve as a trusted technical advisor for customers, translating goals and constraints into practical implementation plans and clear next steps.
Interface with GitLab's product and engineering teams to unblock customer outcomes and share feedback that helps improve GitLab features and services.
Mentor Associate and Intermediate Professional Services Engineers, providing technical guidance, helping remove blockers, and supporting increased autonomy.
Manage and deliver multiple customer engagements at once, either as the primary engineer or as a lead providing oversight and direction to other engineers.
What you’ll bring
Professional exposure with one or more infrastructure as code or configuration as code technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Puppet, or Chef.
Professional exposure with two or more cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.
Experience using, deploying, or configuring GitLab, including a solid understanding of Git and source control workflows.
Experience delivering customer-facing services such as installation, migration, training, and advisory engagements across GitLab's feature set.
Proven ability to independently manage one or more projects and to lead and provide direction to other Professional Services Engineers on complex engagements.
Strong communication skills in English, written and verbal, with the ability to provide clear status updates and build consensus with peers and customers in a remote, largely asynchronous environment.
Demonstrated ability to take a solution-oriented approach by identifying root causes, proposing options and tradeoffs, and driving issues to resolution while balancing multiple customer engagements in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fully remote organization by communicating clearly in writing, documenting decisions, collaborating asynchronously across time zones, and working in ways consistent with GitLab's values.
Must be located in Japan and have full working rights in Japan

We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science.
We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won’t solve the world’s hardest problems – robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world.
World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached.
Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you.
*Titles posted to our careers page are updated regularly to best advertise the role and expected seniority, but internally we have a flat titling system with two types of titles: one for individual contributors and one for people managers.
ABOUT THE ROLE
*Open to hiring remote across the US — we also have offices in NYC, San Francisco, and Seattle

Agents are authoring entire data systems. The bottleneck is no longer writing pipelines, but understanding, governing, and trusting what they produce.
dltHub provides the infrastructure that enables data teams in large enterprises and scale-up companies to run their data stack autonomously. Our open-source Python library, dlt, offers agents and developers transparent, composable building blocks for data ingestion (schema inference, normalization, incremental loading, and data contracts), designed from the start for the AI era. Built on dlt, dltHub is the AI-native data engineering platform for teams of humans and agents: a managed layer over any warehouse that lets both your team and their agents generate, validate, and manage high-quality data at scale.
As we grow, product communication and sales collateral are critical for our success. We are hiring a Product Marketing Manager to lead building the bridge between our customers and our product team.
Mission of the Role
Make dltHub as compelling to business leaders as it is to engineers, and drive enterprise opportunities through a strong message, launches, and enterprise-level communication.
What you'll actually work on
Product Launches.
You own the process and delivery of our product launches and ensure we communicate our product vision and new product capabilities consistently to a growing audience. We launch new products every few weeks. Recent examples include the
public preview of Transformations
, a
companion post for practitioners
,
dltHub Pro
,
dltHub for Teams
, and our
vision for an autonomous data platform
.
Enterprise communication.
You ensure we are speaking with one voice and represent our brand consistently in everything we say and do. You take ownership of our website communications.
Customer collateral.
You take our customer success stories and blueprints, like the
ontology and semantic layer
, to the next level of excellence. These come from engagements with our customers and our Solutions Engineering team. You interview the customer and write them.
Content marketing.
You coordinate our content marketing creation and distribution efforts. Work with our content writers. Plan the schedules and ensure that the content speaks our language
The link between Product and GTM.
You align stakeholders, drive the launch schedule, and close gaps in messaging, sales enablement, and launch readiness. Coordinate our product marketing activities and keep the team aligned.
What success looks like:
In 90 days,
you run launches end to end, and our story is consistent across the website, sales collateral, and decks, with messaging that speaks directly to business buyers.
In 6 months,
you've built a repeatable process that trains sales on that story, and we can see it working (e.g. in win rate with business buyers & deal velocity)
Ongoing,
you own the marketing plan: one lean, visible roadmap where everyone can see what we're doing, why, and in what order.
Requirements
You can write clearly about technical subjects. Your style is clear and not full of marketing talk. Please read the post on the
Transformations launch
and the page at
dlthub.com/security
. If you think you can do better, you are the person we're looking for.
You have been targeting US enterprise customers and are therefore familiar with what a senior technical stakeholder actually reads. Our customers are the lead personnel regarding data platforms and the people who approve decisions on their behalf, both in the US and in the EU.
You can talk with a data engineer about pipelines, schemas, and warehouses without being one. You do need to understand what our product does.
You've carried out launches from start to finish, which involved you choosing the audience, deciding on the message, and selecting which assets were worth developing, before building most of them yourself.
You need to be able to keep agents in control and build agentic workflows while ensuring our external presence conveys a human touch.
You have a basic understanding of data workflows.
This probably isn't for you if
You rely on a formal brief and a kickoff meeting before getting started, this role is not for you. While you'll have access to design support, you're expected to independently draft the first version of the post, the page, and the deck without waiting for a request ticket.
You want to own strategy and hand execution to someone else.
You can't work from our Berlin office regularly.
Benefits
We organize our work around each person's autonomy and efficiency, with set hours for communication and for deep work.
We are an office-first company that also offers plenty of room for deep work and working from home. Dedicated meeting-free days let the team focus on their most important work.
We cover your Berlin public transportation ticket.
We are deeply committed to your personal and professional growth, and as such, we allocate an annual budget for learning and development.
We offer regular subsidized team lunches and Urban Sports Club membership.
We have an ESOP scheme available to employees, taking into account their impact on the product and the company.
Location: Ukraine; Poland; Spain; Portugal; Romania; Georgia

We are looking for
Senior Payments Processing Engineer
to join us as part of our team
About the role
As a
Senior Payments Processing Engineer
you will join a product team building payment infrastructure for merchants and partner platforms. The platform enables businesses to accept payments, manage payouts, process card and bank transactions, and handle payment-related operations without relying on multiple disconnected providers.
The engineering challenges go far beyond basic payment integrations. The platform handles payment orchestration, transaction processing, settlement and reconciliation, payouts, fraud and KYC integrations, and complex failure scenarios across systems that the team does not fully control.
This role is a strong fit for an engineer who understands how money actually moves through payment systems and is comfortable owning critical backend flows end to end.
Tech Stack
TypeScript across the board, in a pnpm monorepo
NestJS backend services; Next.js and React on the front end
PostgreSQL, with SQL-first data modeling and versioned migrations
Event-driven service orchestration, webhooks, and idempotent processing
Acquirer and vendor integrations for card/ACH acceptance, fraud screening, payouts, and KYC
Managed cloud infrastructure, containerized services, CI/CD on GitHub
AI-assisted development as a standard part of the toolchain, not a side experiment
Work environment
Full-time, remote. Daily collaboration with a US-based team (4–6 hours of overlap with US Central Time is required)
As a qualified expert You will
Own end-to-end payment flows in TypeScript/NestJS services: authorization, capture, void, refund, dispute handling, and payout initiation and confirmation.
Build and maintain acquirer and processor integrations, keeping the platform acquirer-agnostic behind clean internal abstractions.
Design embedded and hosted checkout experiences (hosted fields, iframes, tokenization) that keep sensitive cardholder and bank data out of internal systems and minimize PCI scope.
Implement fee calculation and rate logic, including tiers, interchange-plus, flat structures, rounding rules, special rates, and edge cases.
Build the reconciliation and settlement layer to match processor reports and settlement files against internal records and surface breaks.
Design event handling incorporating idempotency keys, out-of-order and duplicate webhooks, retries with backoff, and state machines.
Integrate fraud, bank-account verification, and KYC providers, tuning decisioning against real outcomes.
Handle ACH mechanics including submission windows, returns, return codes, NOCs, and retry rules.
Ensure correctness in the domain, maintaining complete audit trails and producing reconciliation evidence.
Act as the team's payments expert, advising product on rail capabilities and reviewing payment-adjacent code.
What Success Looks Like
First 30 days — you can trace any transaction through the platform end to end, and you have documented the gaps and risks you see in current flows.
First 90 days — you own a critical payment domain including its specs, tests, and reconciliation checks, and you have shipped a meaningful improvement to reliability or correctness.
First 6 months — payment orchestration in your area is provably correct and observable, adding a new processor or payout rail is a well-understood exercise rather than an adventure, and you are the person the team and the business rely on for payments judgment.
We're looking for you if you have
6+ years building production software
, with at least
3 years hands-on in payments
, and direct ownership of live payment flows.
Concrete experience
integrating a payment processor, gateway, or acquirer
(Adyen, Stripe, Braintree, Worldpay, Checkout.com, Fiserv, or similar) beyond a starter integration — including webhooks, reporting, and edge-case handling.
Practical understanding of the card lifecycle (auth, capture, settlement, refund, chargeback, representment) and of ACH/bank rails (NACHA basics, returns, timing).
Working knowledge of
PCI DSS
obligations and of the architectural patterns that reduce scope: tokenization, hosted fields, iframe isolation, and data-flow segregation.
Strong
TypeScript/Node.js
skills and solid relational data modeling — you can design a schema whose invariants make an inconsistent ledger structurally difficult.
A rigorous approach to reconciliation and idempotency, informed by having been on the hook when something didn't balance.
Fluency with modern AI-assisted development tooling, paired with the discipline to verify — in payments, plausible-looking code that is subtly wrong is the expensive kind.
Strong English communication skills
and confidence working directly with a US-based team.
Ability to work with
4–6 hours of daily overlap with US Central Time
.
Bonus points
Experience with platform, marketplace, or facilitator models (split payments, sub-merchant onboarding, multi-party flows).
Experience with payouts and disbursement rails, including bank-account collection, verification, and payout status handling.
Experience with fraud and risk tooling, and bank-account validation services.
Experience with e-commerce plugin or SDK development (WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento).
Knowledge of multi-currency, cross-border, or alternative payment methods.
Experience with event sourcing applied to financial state, and double-entry ledger design.

The Role
The Director of Sales, Asia will drive Intellect’s enterprise sales growth across our core Asian markets through direct sales and strategic alliances.
This is a hands-on leadership role with accountability for regional sales performance and an individual new business revenue target. You will lead and develop a team of Account Executives and SDRs while personally originating, owning and closing a focused portfolio of strategic enterprise opportunities.
We are looking for a strong enterprise seller and people leader who understands how to win complex deals, lead competitive RFPs and build trusted relationships with C-suite decision-makers. You should be equally comfortable setting market priorities, coaching a salesperson, leading an executive presentation and negotiating a contract.
You will work closely with Marketing, Revenue Operations and Partnerships to shape our sales go-to-market strategy, strengthen commercial discipline and build repeatable routes to growth. You will also partner with Clinical, Operations, Product and Finance to ensure our proposals deliver value for customers and are commercially sustainable.
Your Responsibilities
1. Revenue Ownership & Enterprise Selling
Own regional new business sales performance, translating revenue targets into clear market priorities, account plans and execution.
Carry an individual new business revenue target and personally own a focused portfolio of strategic deals through the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery to negotiation, contracting and close.
Build qualified pipeline through targeted outreach, executive networks, referrals and partner channels, alongside Marketing and SDR-led activity.
Navigate complex buying groups, uncover customer priorities, develop compelling business cases and secure access to economic buyers and executive sponsors.
Build and deepen relationships with CHROs, Chief People Officers, Total Rewards and Benefits leaders, and other senior stakeholders involved in enterprise buying decisions.
2. Sales Team Leadership & Development
Lead, coach and develop Account Executives and SDRs, setting clear expectations for pipeline creation, opportunity progression and revenue delivery.
Run effective pipeline reviews, deal reviews and individual coaching, identifying performance gaps early and taking action to address them.
Develop the team’s capabilities in discovery, stakeholder mapping, multithreading, value articulation, executive engagement and negotiation.
Establish clear account and territory ownership; help shape hiring, team structure and incentives as the business scales.
Build a culture of accountability, collaboration and high performance through direct feedback, recognition and timely performance management.
3. RFP Leadership & Complex Deal Strategy
Lead priority enterprise RFPs and tenders end to end, including bid qualification, go/no-go decisions, win strategy, proposal development, presentations and commercial negotiations.
Build each bid strategy around the customer’s priorities, evaluation criteria, competitive landscape and Intellect’s differentiated value.
Coordinate solution specialists and cross-functional contributors to deliver accurate, compelling proposals on time, with clear ownership of deliverables.
Lead customer engagement throughout the process, navigating procurement requirements and aligning stakeholders around the proposed solution.
Use win/loss reviews to improve bid selection, sales execution, proposals and competitive positioning.
4. Go-to-Market Strategy & Marketing Collaboration
Shape and execute the sales go-to-market strategy across Asia, prioritising markets, industries, customer segments and direct versus partner-led routes.
Partner with Marketing on target account selection, account-based campaigns, events and demand generation, with shared focus on qualified pipeline and revenue outcomes.
Establish clear lead handovers and follow-up standards, using conversion data and sales feedback to improve lead quality and campaign effectiveness.
Work with Marketing and Product to sharpen enterprise positioning, value propositions and sales narratives based on customer insights and competitive intelligence.
Translate market feedback into practical recommendations on offerings, packaging and growth opportunities.
5. Alliances & Ecosystem-Led Growth
Work with the Partnerships team to turn broker, insurer and other strategic relationships into qualified enterprise pipeline and revenue.
Develop joint account plans and sales initiatives that improve access to priority customers and markets.
Lead sales execution for agreed alliance-led opportunities, coordinating partner introductions, joint pitches and negotiations.
Establish clear opportunity ownership and handovers with Partnerships, aligning direct and partner-led activity to avoid channel conflict.
Evaluate alliance-led sales activity through pipeline quality, conversion and revenue contribution.
6. Revenue Operations & Commercial Discipline
Partner with Revenue Operations to strengthen the foundations for scale: CRM standards, pipeline stages, qualification criteria, forecasting, account planning and performance reporting.
Own adoption of these standards within Sales, maintaining accurate opportunity data, realistic forecasts and clear next steps.
Use pipeline coverage, conversion, sales cycle and productivity data to identify bottlenecks and improve performance; build repeatable playbooks across priority segments.
Help shape pricing, packaging and deal structures with Finance and relevant teams, balancing customer value, competitiveness, delivery requirements and sustainable margins.
Lead deal negotiations within agreed approval frameworks and ensure effective handovers to Client Success and Operations, with clear customer commitments and ownership of follow-on opportunities.
Requirements
Proven Enterprise Sales Leader
You have a track record of delivering B2B new business growth and leading sales teams against clear revenue targets. You have personally originated and closed complex enterprise deals and can explain your contribution to those wins.
Hands-On Player-Coach
You enjoy leading a team while continuing to own and close your own opportunities. You can balance personal selling with coaching, delegate effectively and step into team deals without creating confusion over ownership.
Experienced RFP Leader
You have led and won competitive enterprise RFPs or tenders. You bring sound judgment on which bids to pursue, how to differentiate a proposal and how to coordinate teams through demanding timelines and commercial negotiations.
Strong Enterprise Seller & Executive Relationship Builder
You understand long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, from discovery and business case development through procurement, legal review and contracting. You can engage credibly with C-suite leaders, develop executive sponsors and build new relationships through outreach, networks and partner introductions.
