About the job
QV.AC is a general purpose AI assistant that runs locally on your devices, it gives users greater control over their data and how they use artificial intelligence. Our focus is on local, on-device, and privacy-preserving AI, with opportunities to connect these experiences across Tether’s peer-to-peer ecosystem.
We’re looking for a Product Manager with a strong interest in AI and a practical understanding of how to turn emerging capabilities into useful products.
You will work closely with the Product Lead to help advance the QV.AC vision: identifying valuable use cases, defining AI features, exploring product concepts, and working with engineering and design to bring them to users. You’ll contribute to product direction and take responsibility for moving assigned features from discovery through delivery and iteration.
This role suits someone who knows how to leverage AI to the maximum and enjoys experimenting with new AI technologies, understands its possibilities and limitations, and cares about making complex technology easy to use.
Responsibilities
Help shape AI features:
Work with the Product Lead to translate the
QV.AC
vision into concrete use cases, feature proposals, and product requirements. Bring ideas grounded in user needs, research, and hands-on experimentation.
Understand users and their problems:
Gather feedback, conduct research, and explore how people use AI in their everyday workflows. Identify where AI can solve a meaningful problem and where a simpler solution may work better.
Turn ideas into clear specifications:
Write product briefs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and user flows that help engineering and design understand the intended experience, constraints, and measures of success.
Prototype and explore:
Create wireframes, mockups, and working prototypes to test ideas and communicate product behavior. Use AI-assisted tools to explore concepts quickly and refine them with the team.
Collaborate on technical trade-offs:
Work with engineers to understand what is feasible across devices and models. Help assess the impact of response quality, latency, memory usage, battery consumption, and privacy on the user experience.
Support prioritization and planning:
Help the Product Lead evaluate opportunities, clarify scope, identify dependencies, and maintain a focused backlog aligned with product priorities.
Drive feature delivery:
Follow assigned features through development, resolve product questions, review the experience, and coordinate feedback and release readiness with relevant teams.
Stay close to AI developments:
Explore new AI products, models, tools, and interaction patterns, and explain their practical relevance to
QV.AC
. Share clear recommendations about what is worth testing or adopting and why.
Mandatory:
7+ years of product management experience, ideally working on AI software products with technical engineering teams.
Practical experience building, shipping, or prototyping AI-powered features, with the ability to explain your contribution and what you learned.
A working understanding of AI concepts such as inference, harnesses, model capabilities and limitations, context, and evaluation, alongside an interest in local and on-device AI.
The ability to translate an ambiguous idea into a clear user problem, proposed solution, and actionable requirements.
Strong product judgment, with attention to usability, scope, and measurable user value.
Confidence creating prototypes using design or coding tools
Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to discuss technical trade-offs with engineers and explain them to non-technical colleagues.
A proactive, collaborative approach: comfortable taking responsibility for your work, asking questions early, and incorporating feedback.
Familiarity with product analytics, user research, and iterative software development.
Preferred:
Experience with local AI, on-device inference, or open-source models.
Experience building AI assistants, conversational interfaces, or multimodal features.
Familiarity with desktop or mobile product development.
An understanding of peer-to-peer technologies and decentralized applications.

Experience evaluating AI output quality and designing user experiences that account for uncertainty and errors.
Experience working in a distributed team.

ABOUT YOU
As a Solutions Engineer, you are the technical point of contact for our strategic enterprise partners. You'll be the person a partner trusts to answer a hard API question on a live call, the person who diagnoses why a payment token request is returning an empty-cart error, and the person who makes sure a major launch is technically ready before the traffic hits.
This is a hands-on, partner-facing engineering role. You'll spend your time troubleshooting real integration problems, reproducing and routing defects, and protecting our development teams from being pulled off their roadmaps for questions you can answer or resolve yourself. You'll work closely with Customer Success, Tech Leads, Directors of Engineering, Product Owners, and QA — and you'll be the connective tissue that keeps all of them in sync on behalf of the partner.
ABOUT US
Xsolla is a global commerce company with robust tools and services to help developers solve the inherent challenges of the video game industry. From indie to AAA, companies partner with Xsolla to help them fund, distribute, market, and monetize their games. Grounded in the belief in the future of video games, Xsolla is resolute in the mission to bring opportunities together, and continually make new resources available to creators.
Headquartered and incorporated in Los Angeles, California, Xsolla operates as the merchant of record and has helped over 1,500+ game developers to reach more players and grow their businesses around the world. With more paths to profits and ways to win, developers have all the things needed to enjoy the game.
For more information, visit xsolla.com.
What You'll Do
Customer-facing technical support
Serve as the technical liaison for strategic enterprise partners during the post-sales relationship.
Join partner calls to answer technical questions in real time and resolve concerns on the spot.
Respond to technical inquiries quickly (target: within 30 minutes during coverage hours) so partners are never left waiting.
Shield engineering teams from non-technical and routine technical interruptions, escalating to Tech Leads and Directors of Engineering only when a question genuinely requires deep platform expertise.
Ticket and bug management
Create, own, and drive Xsolla Service Desk tickets to resolution — acting as both reporter and assignee on the issues you handle.
Triage incoming issues: handle technical questions directly, route non-technical ones to Customer Success, and assign complex defects to the right engineering owner.
Troubleshoot and fix minor bugs yourself when feasible, following proper code review and deployment processes.
For complex bugs and new feature requests, capture clean requirements and escalate to the Tech Lead with the context engineering needs to act.
For live production-impacting issues, drive to root cause and confirmed fix — convening the on-call team in a live session when necessary.
Launch readiness
Create and manage Partner Launch Event tickets for partner sales and launches.
Validate technical launch requirements with the partner and assign preparation subtasks to the relevant engineering teams.
Support Product Owners and Directors of Engineering in building a plan to staff and monitor live launch events.
Continuously improve the Partner Launch Event process alongside Customer Success and engineering stakeholders.
Process and platform stewardship
Follow engineering and deployment processes carefully to avoid introducing regressions.
Maintain the access you need to do the job: code repositories, logs, internal troubleshooting and testing tools, and dev environments.
Communicate regularly with Tech Leads and Directors of Engineering on request resolution and bug-fix timelines.
Bring structure to how defects and feature requests are reported, reducing back-and-forth and giving partners and engineers a clearer shared picture.
What Your Day Actually Looks Like
To make the scope concrete, here are the kinds of problems you'd be handling:
A partner reports an "empty cart" error when calling the create-payment-token endpoint — you read the API docs, check their catalog and SKU configuration, identify the validation failure, and walk them through the fix.
A partner's engineer raises a sharp question about whether 64-bit integer IDs in JSON webhooks could lose precision at scale — you give a technically credible answer and propose a forward-looking path.
A webhook stops firing on a partner's store — you audit the webhook settings, confirm what's configurable via Admin API versus what needs an internal change, and coordinate the escalation.
A major partner is launching a seasonal event — you create the launch event ticket, validate readiness, line up the engineering subtasks, and stay close during the event.
You spot a recurring pattern of partner requests that creates operational risk, and you write it up clearly for leadership so the organization can get ahead of it.
What We're Looking For
Required
Strong working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and webhooks — you can read documentation, construct and interpret requests/responses, and reason about payload structure and edge cases.
Hands-on debugging and troubleshooting ability: reproducing issues, reading logs, and isolating root cause versus symptom.
The judgment to know when to fix something yourself and when to escalate — and the discipline to route issues to the right owner with clean context.
Excellent partner-facing communication: you can explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, and you stay calm and credible during production incidents.
Comfort working in a ticketing/issue-tracking workflow (e.g., Jira) and following defined engineering and deployment processes.
Ownership mentality — you drive problems to resolution rather than logging them and handing off.
Experience in video game commerce, payments, e-commerce, or fintech platforms.
Preferred / Nice to Have
Familiarity with storefront, catalog/SKU, and monetization systems, or prior experience integrating with a platform like Xsolla.
A coding background sufficient to make small fixes and understand engineering trade-offs.
Experience supporting enterprise or strategic accounts in a post-sales technical capacity (Solutions Engineering, Technical Account Management, Integration Engineering, or Developer Support).
Experience operating in an on-call or incident-response rotation.
What Success Looks Like
Partners view you as their trusted technical point of contact and resolve issues with you rather than escalating around you.
Technical questions are answered fast, and engineering teams stay focused because routine and intermediate issues stop with you.
Defects and feature requests reach engineering well-scoped, reducing back-and-forth and rework.
Launches are technically validated ahead of time and supported through go-live.
Production incidents reach confirmed root cause and fix, with clear ownership.
The duties and responsibilities of this position may evolve over time to support the organization's goals and individual growth. This job description is intended to outline the general nature and level of work being performed and is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, and qualifications required. By submitting your application, you consent to Xsolla conducting background checks, where permitted by law, after the final interview stage. All checks will comply with local regulations, and your information will be handled confidentially.Xsolla takes your privacy seriously and will not sell or externally distribute any personal data received during the hiring process. In accordance with applicable data protection laws including the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI), Xsolla is committed to protecting your personal information and respecting your privacy. About the job
Tether Wallet is our self-custodial wallet, built to bring USDT and XAUT directly to the people who rely on Tether every day, especially in markets where access to stable money and savings is hardest. For that to work, getting into these assets has to be simple, fast and affordable. Our goal is to give every Tether Wallet user the best option to exchange any local currency or token into USDT and XAUT, wherever they are.
In this role, you will define and own the strategy for buying and swapping into USDT and XAUT across our target markets. You will work hand in hand with our expansion teams to map the payment landscape in each market: which payment methods people actually use, which card schemes and bank rails dominate, and which on-ramp and swap providers can serve them. Based on that, you will identify the best partner for each market and bring them on board as a service partner of Tether Wallet.
This role sits at the intersection of product, payments and partnerships. You will own the outcome end to end, from the first partner evaluation through integration and the in-app experience to the conversion numbers after launch. If you enjoy turning a fragmented global payments landscape into a buy button that just works, we want to hear from you.
Key responsibilities:
Buy & Swap Strategy: Define and own the strategy and roadmap for buying and swapping into USDT and XAUT in Tether Wallet, covering fiat on-ramps, card payments, local payment methods and token-to-token swaps.
Market & Payment Landscape: Work with our expansion teams to build a deep understanding of each target market, including dominant payment methods, card schemes, bank transfer and instant payment rails, mobile money, local regulation, and the on-ramp and swap providers active there.
Partner Evaluation & Selection: Define clear evaluation criteria such as market and payment method coverage, fees and FX spreads, approval and conversion rates, KYC experience, settlement speed, reliability and compliance standing, and use them to select the best on-ramp or swap partner for each market.
Partner Onboarding: Lead selected partners from evaluation to go-live as service partners of Tether Wallet, coordinating with Legal, Compliance and Business Development on due diligence, commercial terms and contracts.
Integration & Delivery: Translate partner capabilities and APIs into clear product requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria, and work with engineering and design to deliver a seamless in-app buy and swap experience.
Routing & Optimization: Define the logic that decides which partner and payment method a user is offered based on country, currency, amount, price and availability, so every user gets the best available option.
Performance & Partner Management: Define and track KPIs across the buy and swap funnel, such as conversion, payment approval rates, KYC drop-off, total cost to the user and volume by market and partner. Use the data to improve the experience, manage partner performance and incidents, and regularly review whether each market still has the right partner.
Mandatory:
5+ years of product management experience in the financial industry (banking, payment service provider, FinTech)
3+ years of product management experience in DeFi or crypto industry
Good understanding of crypto wallets and DeFi features, including token swaps, DEX aggregators and on-chain transaction flows.
Good understanding of global payment systems and credit card schemes (e.g. Visa, Mastercard), including authorization, 3-D Secure and chargebacks, as well as local payment methods such as bank transfers, instant payment rails and mobile money.
Hands-on experience with fiat on-ramp, off-ramp or swap providers, or with integrating third-party payment providers and gateways into a consumer product.
Proven experience evaluating, selecting and onboarding external partners, and managing their performance after launch.
Working knowledge of KYC/AML requirements and how they affect user onboarding and conversion.
Technical enough to read partner API documentation, assess integration options and work closely with engineering teams.
Data-driven: experience defining funnel KPIs and using data to improve conversion and make partner decisions.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with partners, expansion teams and engineers across time zones in a remote environment.

ABOUT MISTRAL
Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms.
We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
THE TEAM
Mistral is building a sovereign AI cloud for Europe. Our customers in finance, healthcare, and the public sector run frontier models on European-jurisdiction infrastructure, and the Cloud Platform team builds the systems that make that possible — compute orchestration, Kubernetes, bare metal, storage, networking, and the datacenter fleet that runs it all.
We run it all on our own metal, our own network, our own datacenters — which means when something breaks, the fix is ours to write.
European Compute Units let enterprises commit to multi-year capacity on that infrastructure, and we are scaling toward a gigawatt of compute across Europe by 2030. You will design and ship the layer every sovereign AI deployment depends on and shape the team building it.
THE ROLE
This is a founding people-leadership role. There is no team to inherit and no legacy to maintain — you build the team as well as the stack, and you are accountable for both from day one. Early on you will be deliberately hands-on, because there is no one else to solve the hardest problems — but hiring your first engineers, coaching them, and setting their growth paths starts immediately, not later. If you are looking for a senior IC role, this is not it.
You will be the founding Engineering Team Lead for storage on our cloud.
Block, filesystem, and object storage for training runs, sandboxed workloads, and general compute: you decide what we build, what we buy, and how it adds up to storage our customers can bet a business on. Some layers we deploy and harden from best-in-class vendors. The ones that matter most we write ourselves in Go — S3-compatible object storage, tiering, backup and recovery, caching layers that put cold data on cheap spinning disks.
As the team grows, the balance shifts toward people leadership, and you decide how fast. You will own capacity planning across datacenters and the architecture that keeps data durable when disks, networks, and entire sites fail. Storage is a strategic bet for this org: the team you build and the calls you make will define how a gigawatt of European compute stores its data.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Stand up the storage stack — block, file, object — for training, sandbox, and general compute workloads.
- Make the build-vs-buy calls: deploy and harden vendor platforms where they win; design and write our own services in Go where they don't.
- Own the data plane: allocation, duplication, tiering, backup and recovery, S3-compatible APIs.
- Plan capacity across datacenters and across failure domains — petabytes, not terabytes.
- Build the team from zero: make the first hires, onboard and coach them, own performance and growth paths, and set the standard for ownership.
- Partner with Product Managers to shape the storage roadmap and make the technical and business tradeoffs.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2+ years of real people leadership. You have managed engineers — hired, coached, given honest feedback, and grown them. Hands-on contribution matters here, but this role is judged on the team you build and lead, not just the code you write.
- You have built storage systems — object, block, or distributed filesystems — not just operated them. You know what happens when a disk dies mid-write and when a rebalance collides with a backup window.
- Deep distributed-systems fundamentals: durability, consistency, replication, erasure coding, failure domains.
- You have shipped production systems in Go. Systems engineers coming from C++ or Rust who are ready to write Go daily should still talk to us.
- You are comfortable with hardware reality: HDD, SSD, and NVMe tiers, and the economics of each.
- 8+ years building backend or infrastructure systems.
- You have partnered with product, design, and business teams to ship software that reached real users.
- A low-ego, team-first mindset. We care less about your exact domain and more about whether you are the kind of technical force other engineers want to work alongside.
WHAT WE OFFER
We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being, growth, and work-life balance. Benefits vary by country and may include healthcare coverage, parental leave, retirement plans, relocation support, wellness programs, meal and transportation allowances, and other location-specific perks.
